I've been wanting to explore different art styles and trying new things, and I've been particularly inspired by the super blocky and chunky 2000s style recently. Maybe because of nostalgia, but I honestly love how shape they are.

And it's a good exercise to find out if my designs work across different styles. Are they still recognizable and iconic when drawn with completely different proportions? And I think they do!

Biggest win from this? Turning Selina's hair from an amorphis mass into a crescent shape, love that for her. And the discovery that in a different style, Krystal is basically an LOL Surprise Doll. Again, love that for her. I love those dolls.
