The urge to stop mid-drafting to pick apart what I'm writing and how it's inadequate and needs to be adjusted or expanded upon is strong, but I am trying hard to fight it. It can be fixed later. Don't reread, just keep typing. No one else is reading this paper yet, so the imaginary critical audience can shut up for now. This is the dumbest version, and it needs to be that now so it can become the best version later.

It's hard. But this paper will get written.
