Jake "Hangman" Seresin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Précis: Jake's favorite duo gifts him an anniversary surprise he'll cherish forever.
Note: An imagine in the To-Do List collection. This one is for @cherrycola27, who came screaming into my dms with this idea after reading Car Wash. 🖤
Third image is what I envisioned for the described panty-garterbelt combo. Courtesy of Honey Birdette.
Warnings: 18+ only, nudity, body parts, adult themes.
Word count: 1.1k
Jake hustled into the house, worried he was going to be late. Tossing his keys on the table in the entryway, he thudded up the stairs to the bedroom. As he crossed the threshold, he pulled his shirt over his head. Once he could see again, he stopped in his tracks. There, on his side of the bed, lay a neatly wrapped package. Curious, he walked over.
As he approached, Jake read his name in her handwriting on the card tucked under the bow. Sitting on the edge of the bed, Jake pulled the package into his lap and unearthed the card.
Enjoy. xo
He sat the card beside him and tugged the bow until it fell apart. Once the ribbon was off, he lifted the lid to find a square black leather book with “For your eyes only” debossed in the middle of the cover. He ran his hand across the small words and curled his fingers around the edge to open it.
The cover page read, “Happy anniversary.” A smile graced his lips as he flipped to the next page to see her leaning out the window of his 1967 Ford Mustang parked on a scenic cliff somewhere along the coast. Her chin rested on her haphazardly folded arms, and she was smirking into the camera. Jake loved everything about it.
His smile widened as he turned the page to see her in the first of several traditional pinup poses.
She donned an open black bomber jacket that revealed just her sternum and the inner curve of her breasts. A gift from Jake to mimic his flight suit, it bore his squadron patches and a call sign patch that read “Mrs. Hangman.” She paired it with the most delicate black lace panties and garterbelt. Jake wasn’t sure how the belt was even holding up her stockings. She was perched on the hood of the car, legs on full display.
In the next photo, she was standing back to the camera, looking over her shoulder, clutching a soapy sponge against ‘Stang, the nickname they gave his vintage muscle car. A smirk curled Jake’s mouth as he noticed she was clad in the infamous black triangle bikini and high-waisted cutoff denim shorts.
The outfit took him back to the day he came home to find her washing ‘Stang in the driveway. His heart began to race as he thought about her riding his lap in the front seat parked in the garage. The mental replay had him shifting in his seat. For a minute, he tried to think about less sexy things to keep himself together. After all, he still needed to get ready for dinner.
Clearing his throat, he thumbed further through the montage, enjoying each pose of his favorite duo.
The upcoming page was thicker than the previous ones. Interest further piqued, he turned it to learn it was the middle of the book and folded out twice its size.
“Holy…” he trailed off as he unfurled the centerfold to reveal her draped naked across the hood. ‘Stang’s shiny chrome grill with the iconic wild mustang galloping in the center was the least impressive part of the image.
She was casual yet sultry with her elbows resting on the hood and her temple pressed against the knuckles of her interlaced hands as she stared at Jake from the page. Her biceps strategically covered her nipples, but left the bottom swells of her breasts exposed. Suddenly, Jake had cottonmouth.
When his gaze fell upon her barely parted pouty lips, he felt a sudden rush of blood to his lap. Her hair was also mussed just right and her skin had a certain glow, reminding him of how she often looked after they fucked.
Next, he was drawn to the slope of her shoulders that led to her back then her waist and finally rolled up her perfectly shaped ass. The soft curves of her thighs trailed to the backs of her knees where her legs extended off the hood, jutting into toned calves and ending with perfectly pedicured toes.
Jake’s fingers traced her figure on the page. His mind autofilling the feel of each curve.
“Do you like it?” Jake jumped up, nearly dropping the book. Instead, he caught it by the pages. Terrified, he inspected it and found no damage. Once he was sure his gift was ok, he looked at his wife in the doorway.
Immediately, he did a double take as she leaned against the door jamb, donning the bomber jacket outfit from the book.
She swaggered over to Jake, and together, they sat back down on the edge of the bed. She sidled up to him so she was pressed against his side, a hand planted behind him on the bed as Jake held the book in his lap. “We should look at the second half,” she added.
Jake looked between her and the book. “Do we have time?” He was thinking about their dinner reservation.
Her smile said it all. She folded the pages back in, so they could browse the back half. “These are a little more intimate,” she added.
His mouth fell open as she flipped the page to reveal herself nude and laying upside down in the driver’s seat. Her forearms tastefully covered her breasts as her hands cupped her neck. Head hanging off the seat, her hair cascaded out the open door. Her long legs reached up to the ceiling, the balls of her feet anchoring her.
Mesmerized, Jake held the book as she reached across him to reveal another set of images. On the left, ‘Stang’s hood was open, and she was leaning into it with one leg popped. All her scandalous bits in shadow, but the lighting perfectly shone the silhouetted curves of her backside and supple breasts.
On the right was a straight-on view of her wide hips, round ass and long legs as she leaned into the trunk. Of course, she was naked, but her core was shadowed perfectly to keep the image in good taste.
They finished the rest of the book, her flipping pages as Jake stared in awe. In his wildest dreams he had not thought about having a keepsake of professionally shot images of his wife and vintage car.
She closed the book and slid it off his lap, revealing an impressive bulge. A smile pulled her lips as she looked up at him through her eyelashes. His green eyes were dark with lust. “We’re gonna have to skip dinner…” he trailed off, as she straddled his lap.
“That was the plan.” She smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his.

SUNDAY MUSIC VIDEO MATINEE: “Dumb Angel” live in concert— https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1adaRT-TVpU   …This surrealistic pop song* came to me from a dream about where I grew up in Avis, Pennsylvania. In the dream, Brian Wilson showed up at my door, smoking a cigarette and driving a big car. He drove me and some kids to a Bible study at the CMA Church in Avis (now torn down). In the church sat Lewis Carroll, and near him was Elvis Presley, crying with his head in his arms. How I de-coded this dream is another story.
In the context the word “angel” references the old Hebrew definition of cherubim as God’s messengers. The angel in this song is dumb, as in not being able to speak, yet he still delivers a message. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1adaRT-TVpU
* “Dumb Angel” was also the original working title of The Beach Boys masterwork, SMILE. On a cosmic jukebox, this song would play next to songs from the 1967-68 SMILEY SMILE/WILD HONEY/FRIENDS period of Beach Boys.

Kick-starting the Rock n’ Roll Revival - The Post-Psychedelic Fun of “Wild Honey” (1967)
1967′s Smiley Smile painted the image of a Beach Boys that is thoroughly, energetically, and creatively spent- especially following the immense stress with the band’s collapse of success, drugs & mental health issues, and the collapse of Smile. But with Wild Honey- the band has never felt more unified and alive. And not only that, they helped initiate major changes not just from within the band, but also to the music world as well thanks to one move...going back to rock and roll’s roots and embracing R&B.
After total burnout and a severely stressful 1967, and with a lot of the music world lambasting the band as “ball-less choir boys” the band sought to re-invent themselves as a self-contained rock act, intentionally distancing themselves away from the lush, theatrical and extremely complex compositions of Pet Sounds and other psychedelic acts that filled the market, and make music that the band could actually enjoy making- recording at Brian’s home with only band-mates and their talents; only a love for R&B, Soul, and Motown driving their music process, more lo-fi than Smile.
However to call this lo-fi, either musically or instrumentally is almost misleading- not less because the newer 2017 stereo transfer of it shows greater musical depth and complexities in the background than ever heard before. Indeed, perhaps the Beach Boys’ greatest yet most underrated talent is their ability to immediately & effectively evoke worlds of fun, love and summer. This is used to great effect in tracks like “Let The Wind Blow”, “Country Air”, and their fantastic single “Darlin’“ and cover of Stevie Wonder’s “I Was Made to Love Her”- using their stripped-down approach with great precision and shining beautifully here. The landscapes they paint with their songwriting and musical chops help blur the lines between psychedelia and rock and roll, in various moods, setting, and form- from hazy countrysides, frantic parties, and flowering declarations of love.
The transition to blues rock for people unaware of the Boys’ later work sounds very unusual- some tracks you’d swear were made by The Rolling Stones in the late-60s. Yet, the psychedelic sound is still here, some songs can’t help feeling still a wee bit druggy or floaty throughout the album- but this shows how the album is considered to be an important transition point from psychedelia to the back-to-basics trend rock made after the Summer of Love, predating such work made by The Beatles, The Band, and even the Doors’ later work in Morrison Hotel- perhaps consequentially enough, Jim Morrison himself was a fan of Wild Honey.
But in the midst of musical evolution, and the return of Brian Wilson and Mike Love’s songwriting partnership- perhaps the real standout star from Wild Honey is the youngest Wilson brother: Carl. Carl Wilson’s voice and performance is even more powerful, that much more soulful and at times raw. His performances in the title track and “Darlin’” command the listener’s attention for just how much the man is giving his all and singing his soul out due to his immense love of Motown and blues music. And as Brian was very slowly ceding his leadership role, Carl’s increased presence in Wild Honey and future albums was consequential as he would soon become the de-facto leader of the band after 1970.
Considering that after 1967, the band members grew older, got married and had kids, and shifted to a more mature image and sound- Wild Honey feels like the final burst of youthful energy from a band that gained its fame partially for their songs’ focus on teenage summer love and fun- it’s still here and very much alive, but the form it takes on is notably different. Considering it’s historicity for being one of the first back-to-basics rock album, and its consequential influence on other major acts, Wild Honey comes close to being as important in music history as Pet Sounds and even Smiley Smile before it- As summer rolls around, it deserves a listen while we ourselves try to find a youthful love of fun & sun once more.

Public Coast Brewing updates the recipe on the award-winning'67 Blonde Ale. Introducing '67 Blonde Lager.
image courtesy Public Coast Brewing Press Release CANNON BEACH, Ore. (January 9, 2024) - To kick off the 2024 year, Public Coast Brewing Co. has released a new core beer to their signature lineup of year-round brews — the ‘67 Blonde Lager, a reimagined classic of the 2018 World Cup Winner, the ‘67 Blonde Ale. This crisp and golden lager joins the Cannon Beach brewery’s signature collection of year-round offerings, which include the Coastal Haze IPA, Oswald IPA, Coconut Brown Ale, NW Honey Red Ale and Public Coast’s non-alcoholic Stephen’s Root Beer.  “The inspiration for this lager comes from the year 1967, which is when the State of Oregon declared that all 363 miles of Oregon's coastline would be open to the public in perpetuity,” said Will Leroux, Public Coast’s head brewmaster. “As crisp and bright as a sunny Oregon coast day, the '67 Blonde Lager is a deliciously refreshing beer crafted to be a new favorite among Public Coast's signature brews. With its subtle sweet malt and hop flavors, this golden lager echoes the spirit of our state’s 1967 landmark declaration.” The ‘67 Blonde Lager, a 5.0% ABV blend of 2-Row Base Malt, Pilsen Malt, rice flakes, lemondrop Hops and German Lager Yeast, offers a golden appearance and light body that’s delightfully effervescent and wildly approachable.  “While seasonal brews enable us to get creative and run wild, we like to think of the year-round brews as the Team Captains of Public Coast Brewing,” said Leroux. “Standout brews like our Coastal Haze IPA and NW Honey Red Ale anchor our lineup. Just as the '67 Blonde Lager now does, these flagship offerings showcase our best in terms of taste, quality and consistency.” The beer is available on tap at the Public Coast brewpub in Cannon Beach as well as 16 oz four packs.  For a full list of beers on tap or order online for curbside pickup, visit: publiccoastbrewing.com/beer/. … About Public Coast Brewing Located just 70 miles west of Portland in Cannon Beach, Ore., Public Coast Brewing is named after the only true public coastlines in America: the Oregon Coast. ☠ ― 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑒𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑆𝑦𝑚𝑏𝑜𝑙 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑛𝑠.
「 It's a vinyl record, one that no one would ever expect to find in his collection. Wild Honey by The Beach Boys, 1967. The album came out the year he was born and it was his mom's favorite. She listened to it on repeat during her pregnancy, and when he was born, she would sing Darlin' to him. As a young kid, he always had lots of energy to burn, and his favorite thing to do was dance and sing to The Beach Boys every time his mom put the album on.
She left when he was 12. Though his dad went on a cleaning rampage and threw out anything that was hers left in the house, Billy was able to sneak the record away and keep it hidden in his room. For the first couple of months, he'd play it every night, hoping it would bring her back. Eventually he stopped, and he hasn't listened to it since. But he'll never get rid of that record. 」

Cappelle Calling - 30 oktober 2023
Tumblr media
