First profiled by U.S.A. agents in the 1920s, where he was identified as a member of “The Laughers and Dashers” (yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like, it was a train heist pulling vaudevillian clown gang). He was generally unfriendly to any line of questioning, preferring instead to attempt to fix some gadget that he had apparently broken only just prior. His personality has been compared to Gallifreyan nails that are harder than Sontaran nails, that are harder than the average nail (though it should be noted that UNIT frowns upon such similes, as well as alliteration). For some reason he has become a musician touring to fans of the Doctor Who Data Cubes. Not a threat to earth, possibly a threat to himself if he’s left alone with too many gadgets.

First seen on earth attending the premiere of CATS on Broadway in 1981 with one, Zazas ‘A’ Curl Praxibetel (the current whereabouts of of Praxibetel are currently unknown). It is believed that Prefect spent most of the 1980s utilizing her supposed shapeshifting abilities, along with an apparent propensity for the stock market, to amass quite a large fortune. While Prefect’s race has yet to be verified, we can confirm that she is no way, shape, or form a Zygon. (You just have to love Zygon puns. No really, you have to, we’re UNIT.) Yet what manner of shape-shifting creature she actually is remains to be determined. Prefect recently reemerged onto UNIT’s radar when it was confirmed that she had taken to playing the bass for “Legs Nose Robinson,” an ensemble for which UNIT is currently working on a separate file.
