#my art #in stars and time #isat #isat spoilers #pokemon #siffrin #mirabelle #isabeau #odile #bonnie #i am not individually tagging pokemon sorry. floragato eevee ursaring scorbunny meowstic <- for anyone who does not know them #im personally a big fan of when artists mold pokemon designs like clay to fit their characters so i tried to channel that #siffrin really does have the perfect mystery dungeon backstory. washes up on a beach with no memories of their past type of deal yknow #i imagine that he was still a sprigatito then? and evolves at some point during their journey? dont ask me for details i dont know them #veryy tempting to make him an absol but ive already seen that done very well!! so i kept most of these to floragato sif #mirabelle being an eevee is suuuch low hanging fruit sorry. i could not resist the evolving pokemon not wanting to evolve trope #i was concerned that sif was no longer shortest party member until i realized they just stand on their back legs all the time to feel talle #when quadruped like mira he is still shortest. sorry siffrin #isa gave me such a hard time. like i never thought i would turn a character into ursaring of all things but it really was the best choice #my other choices were bewear or pawmot if you care. he’s so bear coded #if going purely based on looks i probably would have made odile a sneasler. but i wanted her to be psychic #ill be honest bonnie was purely vibes. they carry the treasure bag :)#never draw bonnie's hat in profile worst mistake of my life #loop is still cat shaped here but i’ve seen the idea of them changing species thrown around. much to think about #i like the idea of the party seeing sif and loop side by side and immediately clocking their entire deal #the change god is mew btw. very important information to no one but myself #eurasie as hisuian zoroark?? lots of hair. and the king can be darkrai #don’t mind the inconsistencies. me and my 2781 ways of drawing the same character #wait what does an eevee look like again. googles it. oh i really crabbed this one up #uhh. looks around. been sitting on this one for a bit too long i think. maybe ill clean up some more sketches later

#not art (yet!!!!)#preddy good kristen I got goin on in this piece #for some reason my brain isnt letting me do this one. been stalling on it for a good few days. but I intend to break thru it #I need to put this on paper at least once #(its space sweepers. I think it would be funny if the kids are in that universe too but theyre just like off to the side doing their own #thing pretty much unrelated to the main plot. theyre delivery people. theyre all still teens. they get up to shenanigans and then #one day they look up like huh the guy who founded eden fucking died?? when #kristen specifically I got a decent amount hashed out in my brain somehow. she's like an engineered messiah with a grafted engine #along her upper body skeleton that'd let her spontaneously rearrange objects on a molecular level #so she can theoretically knit wounds or cure diseases by thinking abt it very hard #sadly the engine of course takes enormous amount of energy to power. so most of the time in practice she just #has a half-metal skeleton that doesn't do anything. so she's buff as shit on the upper side and one of her punches can break your neck #but her mobility is limited and she sprains her ankles like every other week. her shins have broken like a few times #I genuinely love the way her shoes n braces look in this one its very fun #there are a lot of choices I made in this one that are so fun and also just like. a result of putting them in space sweepers #and thinking to myself here and there hey this would be cool if it harkens back to their canon designs #not riz tho other than being human he is fully exactly like how he looks in canon. hes just like that #hes the navigator and he charts their courses by hand with a school calculator #(also technically their legal counselor since he's sorta responsible for not putting them in traffic control's hands)#drawing this does make me realise a lot of these dynamics are really fun lol. idk if Im gonna ever do anything like proper for this but #at the very least if I draw this the idea will be out there)

#daken #my art #the way his design has been completely stripped of any individuality hes not even metro anymore.#the character i enjoyed is completely gone now replaced by a soulless corporate product #i can see why the choices made with him were made but it is sad that at every turn theyve gone the most trite conservative route #monkeys claw situation frfr hes making appearances but got replaced by a pod person #He is an inherently thorny and difficult character thats the whole point and he wont fit the tone of most comics #rather than let him exist and develop naturally they make some cringe completely unrecognisable person wear his name and skin #I HATE IT HERE. theyre just pandering to people who never liked him in the first place until he was just not him anymore #what are hyou even doing here just go back to your 385497647645757543 heroic characters and leave my villains alone…

I really wish Larian had done more to emphasize the differences between devils and tieflings so Wyll’s transformation would land better. Which I get would be difficult seeing as how tieflings are descended from devils, but when the biggest visual difference are the wings and you deny Wyll that feature, you can't be surprised when players mistake him for a tiefling and misconstrue his grievances at the grove party

His stats don't even change all that much, just some fancy darkvision, and it's not like his soul being dragged through literal hell altered his personality in any way. A lot of what makes him a devil is apparently just ~vibes~ and they are not passing their persuasion checks

Gushing about my better childhood Dr

I want to take a minute to gush about how excited I am to shift to my better childhood dr, but specifically about how excited I am to make my communion and my confirmation in that dr, because I grew up with a mother who acted like those two days that were supposed to be about her daughter were actually about her, like my hair, dress, and makeup. Everything was all what she wanted it to be, but she made it out like it was all what I wanted when it obviously wasn't, which made me feel bad about it when I said I didn't want those things, and on those days we kind of just went where she wanted me to go, you know? We visited relatives, family, friends, and neighbours that I didn't feel comfortable around or even knew, and we'd be there purely because she wanted to show me off, which is a big part of why I'm so excited for my better childhood dr, because on those days it will actually be about me. This time I will actually wear what I want, we will visit who I want, do what I want, and it's going to be so great because I really deserve for those days to just be about me.

#I remember my sister argued with my mother a lot during the weeks leading up to my confirmation because #we were getting my dress designed (since that's what everyone else was doing) and my mother hated every choice I made about my dress #and when we first saw the finished version of the dress #the second the designer left the room my mother started complaining about how she doesn't like it while my sister shushed her #and I kept saying that I liked it #NONE of that crap will be happening in my dr #I will have a good mother who let's me make my own choices and be happy #Shifting #Reality Shifting #Desired Reality #Shifting Realities #Shifting Community #Shiftblr #Reality Shifter #Law of assumption

to be deeply incredibly annoying about interior design: something that bugs me in the interior design/decor influencing space is how Stuff will be accumulated not because it has any real emotional meaning to the designer/homeowner, bur simply because it "looks nice" or "fits the vibe" or "is elegant" or whatever. this is less about, like, furniture and more about art that populates these spaces. the idea that you swap out art seasonally or will grab endless kitschy knick knacks from the thrift store to populate your shelves and your walls (don't get me started on the book collectors who Collect To Collect and not to read) really sits poorly with me. art being a vehicle for mindless consumerism does make me want to gnaw on metal.

#also please don't get offended by any of this -- I'm not speaking about the average homeowner here #like I have a 7yo metal golden cow skull from Target because it looks cool obvs not all my design choices are made w/ Great Personal Meaning #I'm speaking to the influencers and stylists and others who are really just trying to churn out content and thus cycling in and out things #in order to keeo the content rolling... which sits poorly w me because it feels antithetical to building a meaningul personal collection
