Guys, I need to address the issue. About Jayce and Viktor we do NOT KNOW which one of them is RIGHT. Riot !! Bad, bad of you !! You meany writters !
It is fucking with my head !!!
Was Viktor actually brainwashing people/ removing their personnality (Salo I'm watching you) and under the influence of the hextech, OR, like Viktor said, it's Jayce who was controlled by another form/conscience of the hextech more chaotic and just killed his bestfriend jesus who was making a better world ? Maybe Jayce actually saved the day by blowing his comrade, or else he condemned a bunch of ex-drug addicts and put an end at a utopy.
OR maybe both !!! They may have both been instrumented by different forms of hextech that have their own conscience and aims that overpass the human perceptions. Ooooor it could be the same hextech conscience that reaaaally wanted to get rid of Viktor's last feelings. I don't knoooow !!
Yeaaaah I'm cooked

୨୧ English is not my first language, so I regret in advance if something reads weird or is misspelled.
୨୧ I love that you love dad!Ekko as much as I do, I have like three or four drafts on this and I'm not going to stop now.
₊˚ ✧ ‿︵‿୨୧‿︵‿ ✧ ₊˚
The Firelights hideout was never quiet, not truly. Even at night, the creak of wood, the faint buzz of firefly, and the occasional murmur of voices filtered through the air. Yet tonight, the sounds grated on you more than usual. You sat alone in the main room, slumped in a chair, your legs stretched out, and your head resting against the backrest. Your body was still, but your mind raced.
The meeting earlier had drained you. Every face in the crowd, every raised voice, every plea, every challenge—they were all into your memory. There were no easy answers when it came to survival. Staying in the hideout offered safety, but at what cost? Heading into battle was madness, and yet you had found yourself standing at the front of the room, advocating for just that.
Jayce Talis had begged.
The thought still lingered, making your stomach churn. The golden man of Piltover, the symbol of everything Zaun despised, had been desperate enough to cross the divide and plead for help. It was absurd. It was dangerous. And it was necessary.
You looked over at Wyeth’s crib, just a few feet away. He was still awake, his tiny fingers caressing the mobile Ekko had built for him. Little Firelight models swayed lazily above it, glowing faintly in the dimly lit room. His giggles broke the heavy silence from time to time, a sound that filled you with warmth.
You sighed, dragging a hand down your face. You were exhausted, but sleep felt like a luxury you couldn’t afford. For your people. For your baby. For the memory of the man you loved.
Ekko.
The name still made your chest ache. Some nights, you let yourself believe he’d be back, that he’d walk through the door like nothing had happened, his grin as bright as ever. Other nights, you couldn’t even say his name. Not out loud. It hurt too much.
A sudden commotion outside jolted you upright. Voices—louder than usual—echoed through the hideout. The door slammed open, and Roux burst in, her curls wild and her chest heaving as if she’d run the whole way.
You shot her a sharp look, raising a hand to signal for quiet, but Wyeth didn’t so much as flinch. He was still captivated by the spinning fireflies above him, his tiny hand outstretched.
“Roux,” you said, your voice low and steady despite the tension knotting your muscles. “What’s going on?”
For a moment, she didn’t answer. She stood frozen, her dark eyes wide with a mix of disbelief and relief. And then, she smiled—a wide, genuine smile that lit up her whole face.
She didn’t say a word, just nodded at you, her expression speaking volumes.
Your heart lurched in your chest. No, it couldn’t be—
You shot to your feet, crossing the room in three strides to scoop Wyeth into your arms. He let out a surprised coo, his hands grabbing at the edge of your shirt. You didn’t have time to comfort him, your feet already moving toward the stairs.
The shelter was alive with movement. Firelights crowded the central area, their voices a buzzing cacophony. They were clustered together, their faces turned toward the center where a figure stood, just barely visible through the sea of bodies.
You pushed your way forward, your grip on Wyeth tightening with each step. Your breath came faster, your pulse pounding in your ears.
Please, let it be him.
The Firelights parted as you approached, one by one stepping aside as if they could sense the urgency in your movements. And then you saw him.
Ekko.
He stood there, his hair disheveled, his clothes dirty and torn, but his smile was as radiant as ever. His eyes locked onto yours, and in that instant, it was as if time itself had rewound.
“Hey,” he said softly, his voice carrying over the crowd.
Your heart tightened, a wave of relief and disbelief crashing over you. You barely registered the people around you as you stepped closer, Wyeth squirming in your arms, reaching out toward the man who looked just like him.
And then—
You woke with a start, your chest heaving, your heart pounding like a drum. The room was dark, the faint hum of the hideout returning to your ears.
For a moment, you sat there, frozen, the vivid memory of Ekko’s face lingering like a phantom. Then, reality set in. You were still in the main room, slouched in the same chair as before.
But something was wrong.
Wyeth.
The crib was empty.
Panic shot through you like lightning as you scrambled to your feet, your eyes darting around the room. The hanging firefly mobile swayed gently, untouched.
“Wyeth?” you called, your voice breaking.
The silence that followed was deafening.
The air was suffocating, panic pounding in your chest as your eyes darted around the dimly lit room. Where was Wyeth? Your fists clenched, your pulse racing as the dark corners seemed to stretch endlessly.
You stepped forward, instinctively grabbing the nearest object you could find—Ekko’s hammer. The weight of it was familiar, grounding you for just a moment. Your knuckles whitened around its handle as you heard the faintest sound behind you, the scrape of a boot against the floorboards.
Someone was there.
Without thinking, you spun around, raising the hammer high, ready to strike—but a hand caught your wrist mid-swing, strong and firm. The hammer slipped from your grip, clattering to the ground.
The dim light caught the edges of his face first—the familiar curve of his jawline, the wild twists of his hair—and then his eyes. Those unmistakable, tear-filled eyes.
“Ekko?”
He stood there, smiling softly, as if you hadn’t just tried to bash his skull in.
“Aren’t you going to say hello to me?” His voice cracked at the edges, but the warmth in it was unmistakable.
For a moment, you couldn’t move. Your mind raced to catch up with your heart, which was already soaring, even as doubt clung to the edges of your thoughts. Was this another dream? A cruel trick?
Your knees nearly buckled. You’d been sleeping, and somehow, while you were lost in restless dreams, he had come back.
“Ekko…” you whispered, your voice breaking.
He didn’t wait for an answer. In an instant, his arms were around you, pulling you into him with all the strength he had. You collapsed against his chest, your hands clutching his shirt as the floodgates opened. Tears poured down your face, sobs wracking your body as weeks of fear, anger, and loneliness spilled out all at once.
His hand cradled the back of your head, his other arm locked tightly around your waist as if letting go wasn’t an option.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, over and over, his words barely audible through his own tears. “I’m so sorry for being gone so long.”
You couldn’t respond, your voice lost to the ache in your chest. Instead, you buried your face in his shoulder, breathing him in, letting his presence ground you. He was here. He was real.
As you clung to him, your eyes drifted over his shoulder to the crib on the other side of the adjoining room. Wyeth was there, fast asleep, his tiny chest rising and falling with each breath. Relief coursed through you like a tidal wave. He was safe.
Ekko’s voice pulled you back to him.
“I love you,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “I love you with all my heart. I love you in every universe.”
The last sentence made you pause. You pulled back just enough to look up at him, your brows furrowing.
“What does that mean?”
His smile wavered, his hand brushing a tear from your cheek.
“I’ll explain everything,” he said softly. “But not tonight.”
You hesitated, but the exhaustion in his eyes—the weariness that mirrored your own—stilled your questions. Whatever it was, it could wait. For now, all that mattered was that he was here.
You melted back into his embrace, feeling his heartbeat steady against your own.
The night stretched on, the war outside the hideout forgotten for the time being.
Ekko hadn’t let go of you for hours, and you didn’t want him to. You sat together on the small bed in your shared room, Wyeth nestled between the two of you. He stirred occasionally.
Ekko watched him with an expression you couldn’t quite name—equal parts wonder and guilt.
“He’s gotten so big,” he murmured, his fingers gently tracing the soft curls on Wyeth’s head.
“You should have seen him a month ago,” you said, your voice light but tinged with lingering sadness. “He couldn’t stop rolling over. Drove me crazy.”
Ekko chuckled softly, his gaze flickering to yours.
“You’re incredible, you know that?”
You shook your head, brushing off the compliment, but he caught your hand, lacing his fingers with yours.
“I mean it,” he said, his voice firm. “You’ve held everything together while I was gone. Our son, the Firelights, the shelter—you did all of it.”
Tears pricked at your eyes again, but you bit them back.
“I didn’t have a choice.”
Ekko leaned forward, pressing his forehead to yours.
“I’m sorry I made you do it alone. I should’ve been here.”
“Then don’t leave again,” you whispered, your voice trembling.
“I won’t,” he said, the conviction in his tone wrapping around your heart like a promise. “Never again.”
For the first time in months, you felt a sense of peace settle over you. There were still so many questions, so many battles ahead, but for now, none of it mattered. Ekko was home.
₊˚ ✧ ‿︵‿୨୧‿︵‿ ✧ ₊˚
The morning sun filtered through the hideout’s windows, despite the warmth of the new day, there was a heaviness in the air, a silent acknowledgment of the battle yet to come. People moved through the corridors in hushed tones, preparing for what was ahead, stealing fleeting moments of connection with those they held dear.
Ekko stood in the tiny kitchen, his silhouette framed by the soft glow of morning. The space was simple but functional—weathered counters, mismatched cabinets, and a small table barely big enough for two. Wyeth sat snug in his father’s arms, his tiny hands grasping at the bottle Ekko held steady.
Ekko had a way of moving that was both fluid and deliberate, like he carried the weight of the world with practiced ease. This morning, however, there was something different about him. His usually sharp eyes were softer, fixed on his son with a mix of love and wonder.
You stood just outside the doorway, your hand resting on the frame as you paused. You hadn’t intended to linger, but the sound of Ekko’s voice stopped you in your tracks. He wasn’t speaking to you—or anyone else for that matter. He was talking to Wyeth, his tone gentle, the words almost a lullaby.
“You know,” Ekko began, adjusting the bottle in Wyeth’s tiny hands, “where I was, everything was… different. Almost perfect, I guess.” He let out a soft laugh, shaking his head as if still trying to believe it himself. “Zaun wasn’t like this. No war. No infected trees. No fighting just to survive.”
Your brow furrowed as you leaned closer, trying to make sense of what he was saying. What did he mean by different?
Ekko continued, his voice carrying the weight of someone who had seen too much in too little time.
“It was wild, kiddo. My friends were alive. My family. Everyone I lost… they were all there. And Zaun?” He smiled wistfully. “Zaun was alive. Really alive. It was a city of light, not smoke. People thrived there, not just got by and your grandpa Benzo still had his shop, believe it or not,” he chuckled softly, though there was a sadness in it. “And I didn’t have to carry so much. No fight, no death.”
Your breath hitched as he spoke. Whatever he had experienced while he was gone, it had left its mark on him. You clenched your fists against the doorway, torn between wanting to step inside and wanting to hear more.
“But you know what I liked most about it?” Ekko asked, his smile softening as Wyeth gurgled in response. “Your mommy.”
Ekko’s gaze dropped to his son, his thumb brushing against the soft curls on Wyeth’s head.
“I loved her there, just like I love her here. Only difference is, in that world…” His voice trailed off for a moment, a faraway look in his eyes. “We were married.”
You froze, a sudden heat rising to your cheeks. Married?
“She was just as stubborn, though,” Ekko chuckled, shaking his head. “Still had that fire in her. Still drove me crazy, but in the best way.”
Married. You had never thought much about marriage—there hadn’t been time to. Survival always came first. But the way he spoke about it, the way he described you and him together in that other world…
Ekko shifted Wyeth in his arms, his expression growing fonder with every word.
“We had so much fun, you know? Playing with your other version. You were bigger there, running around and getting into all kinds of trouble. And you had a little sister.”
The revelation sent another jolt through you. A sister?
“Yep,” Ekko went on, his voice full of warmth. “Your mommy and I didn’t waste any time.” He let out a soft laugh, his grin mischievous. “And from the looks of it, we were about to get another little firefly. Your dad’s not the type to keep his hands off your mom, you know?”
Your face burned as you pressed yourself against the wall, your fingers gripping the edge of the doorframe. He couldn’t possibly mean… You shook your head as you tried to process his words.
Ekko’s voice turned playful, his tone carrying a knowing edge.
“It’s rude to spy, you know.”
Your breath caught, and you felt your stomach drop as he turned his head. His grin widened, as though he’d known you were there the whole time.
Caught red-handed, you straightened and pushed the door open fully, stepping into the room with your arms crossed.
“You’re lying,” you said, your voice laced with feigned annoyance.
Ekko turned, still cradling Wyeth in one arm. His eyes roamed over you, as though seeing you for the first time all over again. There was a softness in his expression, but also something deeper.
“You don’t believe me?” he teased, raising an eyebrow.
You tilted your head, your lips curving into a faint smirk.
“Not a word.”
But there was something in his eyes, something intense and unyielding, that silenced the playful edge in your voice. He set the bottle down on the counter and held your gaze, his expression suddenly serious.
“You’re a lot like her, you know,” he said quietly. “But you’re not the same. You’re better.”
The words hit you harder than you expected, and you hesitated, feeling suddenly self-conscious under the weight of his gaze.
Then you straightened, fixing Ekko with a skeptical look.
“So, what? You just decided to leave this magical, perfect dimension where everything was great and come back here?”
Ekko’s gaze didn’t waver. “Yeah,” he said simply.
You blinked.
“Why?”
“Because it wasn’t home,” he said, his voice steady, certain. “You and Wyeth—you’re my home.”
Ekko shifted Wyeth to one arm, freeing his other hand to reach out for you. You stepped closer, your heart racing as you looked at him—really looked at him. Despite the time apart, despite everything he had endured, he was still all yours.
“I’m here now,” he said, his voice steady. “And when we get through this, because I’m going to win the damn war if that means see this little guy growing again…” He paused, his thumb brushing against your cheek. “I’m going to marry you.”
The air left your lungs, the weight of his words crashing into you.
You opened your mouth to speak, but no words came. Instead, you reached out, brushing your fingers against the hand that held Wyeth, grounding yourself in the warmth of your family.
“Say something,” Ekko murmured, his lips curving into a small smile.
You swallowed hard, blinking back the tears that threatened to spill.
“You’re serious?”
“As serious as I’ve ever been.”
No matter how many worlds existed, no matter how different things might have been elsewhere, this was the one he chose.
This was his family.
And for Ekko, that was enough.

love is my curse ( part 2 )
Tumblr media
JINX
arguments with her are usually light and can easily be dismissed or solved quickly but this is very different. silco has been pressuring her as of late about her weapon for the hex gemstone; which has been stressing her out and getting more irritated by everything little thing. “jinx baby?” you spoke softly, trying to not make her anymore irritated. “yes toots?” she frantically looking back and forth at her parts and blueprints for her fishbones, “are you doing okay? do you eat?”
she shrugged her shoulders, continuing to screw the screws in. you silently gulped and walked closer to her. “listen baby…can you take a break or something? i don’t remember the last time you slept or even eat and—” “shut up.” you immediately looked her way like you misheard her. “i-im sorry what..?” she kissed her teeth, “ i said shut up! all you ever do is nag and nag around me! do ever shut up? i’m trying to work so i can hurry up and finish this project, but no you just can’t seem to leave me alone while you’re—” she stops mid sentence, looking to see where you were last standing, “y/n?” she asked to absolutely nothing. she rolled her eyes, not bothering to think about you anymore, too focused on the hexgem project.
walking through the streets of Zaun, tears blurring your vision as you do your best to wipe them away but if anything you made your mind clear as day in Piltover; she doesn’t need you there anymore. continuing to walk through the lanes until you reached your home.
Tumblr media
VI
pitfights. you hate no—loath them. so imagine your reaction to hearing that your crush becamea pitfighter after that massive fall out with the stupid top side girl. you watched as a friend of hers drag her up the stairs then she starts pushing him off and telling him to fuck off. you watch as the friend just walked away; already tired of her bullshit.
you breathe, mentally preparing yourself and your lecture of what you want to say as you head up the stairs slowly until you reached the door. out of curiosity, you reached for the doorknob, and its unlocked. ‘of course this idiot wouldn’t lock the door.’ you thought, twisting it and slowly pushing the door, seeing vi collapsed on the bed but still awake. you clear your throat loudly, catching her attention as you stand close to the now closed door. “vi.” your voice cautious but fed up. watching her destroy herself over a top side is so pathetic, even jinx powder would laugh in her face. vi groaned tiredly, “can’t seem to catch a fucking break anymore.”
“fuck a break! what do you think you’re doing?!” you wave your hand around, as you often talk with your hands. “what the hell are you talking about…!?” vi retorted back. “look around you vi, and your hair! your outfit! you’re a damn pitfighter.” you pointed at everything you mentioned, “why?! is it because of that fall out you had with that stupid top side girl..?!” vi abruptly gets up and stands in front of you. the smell of strong beer and whiskey clog your nose, in her breath, her clothes, everywhere, “don’t you dare bring her up.” you scoffed, “why not? she treats you like shit but now you’re a floor licking puppy for her..?” you stare at her, raised eyebrow, “at least she was better than you in many ways than one.” “excuse me?” “get the fuck out y/n. go back to being a fucking prostitute or something.” “i’m not a prosti—” she punched the wall next to your head, you flinch, hard. “out.” her voice threatening. your hands and feet quickly move as you open the door and fumble out of the apartment was vi was was.
Tumblr media
CAITLYN
a lot has happened in a short amount of time, well, caitlyn proposed to you, then jinx blew up the council and killed her mother, then your fiancée became a damn Dictator and has been worked and training nonstop with Ambessa, and you’re starting to worry. she has been looking burned out a lot more and tired to even notice you sitting next to her on her desk as she stresses over paperwork.
“dear?” you twirled your finger around her loose hair. she jumps a bit, snapping out her thoughts and looking up to see her fiancée, you, “sorry darling, do you need something?” she fidgets with her pen and fingers, you smile at her weakly, “your dinner is cold.” you point to the cold dinner plate, nothing eaten on the side table next to her. caitlyn sighs heavily. “right, i apologize my dear, ill…make sure to eat.” “this is the fourth time dear. you can’t be a commander with zero energy.” you cross your arms over your chest, “i know know i’m just” “i’m starting to think ambessa was a bad idea again. i worried about all this pressure and process. like especially after your mother died, this isn’t good..” caitlyn’s fist banged against the desk, stopping you mid sentence.
“i don’t need your pity or concerns right now.” you stare at her, confused. “what are you talking about right now dear?” “i’m saying you talk too damn much.” she stood up, the chair scratches against the floor and walks away from the desk, “where are you going?” you asked while sliding off the desk, “out. i need some fresh air.” you tilt your head to the side and keep your arms crossed, “fresh air? or maddie?” the blued hair commander stopped dead in her tracks, “what…what did you just say?” you scoffed, as you walked past her, bumping her shoulder. you open the door, revealing maddie with paper works in her hands, “i’ll take my leave.”
Tumblr media
EKKO
patrolling the area around the safe area, but your mind consumed with the thoughts of your boyfriend, he’s starting to overworking again. and that’s pissing you off. months of you guys dating and he still doesn’t get the memo. you sat on top of the tunnel entrance towards the hideout. staring up at the stars, wishing ekko was here with you.
suddenly, you feel a long cold metal jabbed into your side. you immediately clutch it to stop it from entering further until the culprit kicked you in the back, causing you to roll off the top and your body thudding against the cold concrete then you saw black. you wake up, the knife removed and you’re wrapped in bandages around your stomach and your arm is in a cast. your eyes adjust to the light shining down upon you, you wince as a headache rises and you hear muffled sounds of someone screaming your name. once your mind finally adjusts to everything, you hear ekko,
“hey hey hey! firebug! what happened?” his hands placing everywhere patting you down. you wince again, “ekko…that hurts..” you fully open your eyes. “what happened? why did someone find you outside of the base, bleeding out?” he raised his voice, not scary but scared. “i…i was patrolling around the entrance and—” “patrolling? didn’t i say you’re not allowed to patrol unless i’m there?” his voice switch to low. “i can take care of myself ekko.” he gritted his teeth, “well clearly you can not! look at you now! you don’t ever listen huh?” he started pacing back and forth, “it’s like you’re deaf or something, i said no! and you do the entire fucking opposite!” he grabs his mask and hoverboard, stops to say something but rejected that idea and just left.
Tumblr media
ekko was so hard to do ngl cause what has he done for to cause an argument🧍‍♀️and you notice how short-ish jinx is? yea cause i can never actually be mad at jinx.

Note
hi!! i love your writing! i was wondering if you could do how arcane characters would react to their partner looking really good??
Tumblr media
OMG YES, LET’S GO. You’re serving looks, and these characters are LOSING it.
Jinx
Jinx is walking into the room, probably rambling about some crazy plan she has to blow something up, but then she sees you. Full stop. Like, rewind sound effects stop. Her jaw drops, her eyes go wide, and she’s just standing there with a completely dumbfounded look on her face.
“WHO LET YOU LOOK LIKE THAT?!” she yells, pointing at you like it’s your fault. And then, without waiting for an answer, she’s giggling and spinning around you like a little tornado, tugging at your outfit and gushing about how good you look. But it’s Jinx, so she’ll probably throw in something like:
“I could never wear that—I’d blow it up in five minutes. BUT YOU?! You’re, like, my shiny bombshell baby now!”
Vi
Okay, so Vi acts all tough and cool, right? But when she sees you? Girl is GONE. She leans back in her chair, smirks, and tries to play it cool.
“Damn, babe, where’s the fire? Oh wait—it’s YOU.”
She totally thinks she’s being smooth, but her ears are turning red, and she cannot stop staring. She’ll make some excuse to touch you, too, like fixing a stray hair or adjusting your jacket, just so she can get a closer look.
“You’re killin’ me here,” she mutters under her breath, and yeah, she’s absolutely whipped.
Sevika
You walk into the bar looking too good, and Sevika’s mid-drink when she sees you. She chokes. Like, literally sputters into her glass because she was NOT READY. She tries to recover, clears her throat, and narrows her eyes at you like you did this on purpose.
“Alright, who are you trying to impress?” she teases, but her voice is all low and growly, and she’s totally jealous of anyone else who gets to see you looking like this.
If you’re lucky, she’ll slide an arm around your waist and pull you close, her mechanical arm whirring a little as she leans in to murmur, “You keep lookin’ like that, I’m gonna have to start a fight just to keep people’s eyes off you.”
Silco
Silco’s usually composed, right? All cold, calculating power. But when he sees you, he goes silent. Like, dead silent. His heterochromatic eyes narrow just slightly, and you can tell he’s looking you over, taking in everything.
“Impressive,” he finally says, his voice smooth but with just enough edge to send a shiver down your spine. He doesn’t say more because he knows you know exactly what he’s thinking, but the way his hand lingers on your arm when he passes you? Yeah, you’ve officially ruined his ability to focus for the rest of the day.
Vander
Vander is polishing a glass behind the bar when you walk in, and the man literally freezes. The glass slips from his hand, clattering onto the counter, and for a moment, he’s just staring at you with this big, goofy grin on his face.
“Look at you,” he says, his voice all warm and soft, like he can’t believe his luck. He’s not one to gush, but you’ll catch him sneaking glances at you all night, shaking his head like, How did I get so lucky?
And when you catch him staring, he’ll just laugh and say, “Can you blame me?”
Ekko
Ekko’s mid-sentence when you walk in, and he just stops talking. Like, whatever he was saying? Gone. Deleted. Replaced by you.
“Uh…damn.” He runs a hand through his hair, trying to figure out what to do with himself, because holy crap, you’re stunning. “Okay, but why are you trying to flex on me like this?”
He’ll pretend to pout for like two seconds before breaking into this huge grin and pulling you into a quick spin. “You look incredible. Seriously. You’re making it really hard for me to focus.”
Jayce
Jayce is a talker, so the moment he sees you, he’s throwing out compliments like confetti.
“Wow. Just…wow. Is this legal? You’re stunning. Gorgeous. Breathtaking. Should I keep going? Because I could keep going.”
He’s like a golden retriever, so excited and genuinely in awe, and he’ll definitely try to take like 50 pictures of you, “for science,” but really just because he can’t get over how good you look.
Viktor
Oh, Viktor is a mess. Like, full-on short-circuiting. He notices you immediately, but he’s so shy about it, he pretends to be focused on his work, even though the pen in his hand is hovering three inches above the page.
“You, uh…you look very nice,” he finally mumbles, his face going completely red. But when you catch him staring (because he’s DEFINITELY staring), he’ll push up his glasses and awkwardly add, “I mean, you always do, but tonight, especially…uh…”
Just kiss him already. The poor man can’t handle it.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn’s the type to notice right away but say nothing—at first. She’ll just smile, that soft little oh, you’ve outdone yourself this time smile, and let you catch her admiring you.
“You look incredible,” she says, her voice calm but with just enough warmth to make your cheeks burn. She’ll offer you her arm, all proper and elegant, and lead you into whatever event you’re attending, acting like it’s your moment to shine.
But don’t let her fool you. Inside, she’s absolutely glowing.
Mel Medarda
Mel is a queen, and she acts like one. So when she sees you, she doesn’t react immediately. No, she takes her time looking you over, a sly smile playing on her lips.
“You’re stunning,” she purrs, her voice dripping with admiration. “But then, I’d expect nothing less from you.”
She’s totally the type to dress even better next time just so you two can be the most powerful, glamorous couple in the room.
Ambessa Medarda
Ambessa doesn’t do subtle. The moment she sees you, she lets out this low, appreciative hum, her eyes gleaming with approval.
“You’ve outdone yourself,” she says, stepping closer, her presence almost overwhelming. “It’s…intoxicating.”
She’ll rest a hand on your shoulder, her grip firm but affectionate, and you can feel the pride radiating off her. She knows everyone else is looking at you, and she loves it.
Heimerdinger
“Oh, my stars! My dear, you look absolutely radiant!”
Heimerdinger’s ears perk up, and his little mustache twitches with excitement. He’ll walk around you in circles, marveling at your outfit and making a bunch of overly enthusiastic comments about the “design work” and “craftsmanship,” even if it’s just a plain dress.
“You must let me take a closer look at this fabric—it’s magnificent!”
It’s adorable, really.
Salo
Salo’s not one to gush, but he’ll give you this small, approving nod when he sees you.
“You clean up well,” he says, his tone casual but with just enough edge to let you know he’s impressed.
If you’re lucky, you might catch him stealing a glance at you when he thinks you’re not looking.
Scar
Scar sees you and immediately whistles low under his breath.
“Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes,” he says, his grin all crooked and playful. “What’s the occasion, doll?”
He’ll definitely tease you, but you can tell he’s really into it by the way he keeps sneaking closer, like he just can’t help himself.
Maddie Nolen
Maddie is blunt, so when she sees you, she just blurts it out:
“Damn, you look good.”
She doesn’t sugarcoat it, doesn’t make it a big thing. But the way her gaze lingers a little too long? Yeah, she’s head over heels.
Lest
Lest is normally composed, but the moment she sees you, she falters.
“You look…” she pauses, searching for the right word, and then just gives up with a little smile. “Amazing.”
It’s simple, but the way she looks at you? Like you’ve hung the moon? That says it all.

Arcane Imagines- Ekko
Investigation
Tumblr media
[arcane] [main page]
Two Fireflies running through the back allies. Following the map that was given to them to track down some corrupt officers that have been known to go to a certain area of the Undercity to mock and terrorize defenseless people.
Normally they’d have other people with them but today was just investigating what was going on. Making sure the rumors are true before creating an attack. “I can get a look up top. Stay here.” You speak behind a mask, motioning up the pipe covered in overgrown plants. “Be careful.” Ekko mutters as you were already halfway up the building. Partially ignoring his words. Almost falling a few times.
Grabbing onto the ledge of the structure, lifting your torso upon it before throwing your legs over. Not very graceful looking but you didn’t care. You snuck over to the other side of the ledge and glanced over. Seeing three officers laughing as they were going towards a woman holding a large bag. You furrowed your brows before going back to the pipe. “C’mon, I see them.” You slide down slowly, if you didn’t have gloves you would’ve gotten scratches and some sort of burn from the weeds.
You trip as you land on the ground, you catch yourself before falling and turning around to do a stupid pose at Ekko. He shakes his head, walking ahead of you. “Rude.” You whisper under your breath before sprinting after him. You turn the corner and hide behind a crater once the officers are in clear view.
“Hey, princess! Where you going with that heavy bag?” The first of the three asks with a smirk.
The lady looks at them in fear. “Uh-m.” She takes a step back. “Uhm? Is that Undercity for something we don’t know about?” The next one speaks. She glances around, not knowing what to do or say. They begin to corner her, backing her into a wall. “We asked you a question, lady. You gonna answer or give us some trouble?” The first one asks, hands on his hips. The third and second snicker.
Your fists curl as your body tenses. Ekko looked over at you, he couldn’t see your face but he knew the exact expression you were making. “Don’t do it, [Name].” He says quietly in your ear. You roll your eyes, leaning away from him. “I’m not doing anything.” You grunt.
“I know what you want to do though.” He looks back to the scene in front of him. The first enforcer smacks the back out of the girl's hand. It falls to the ground. You grab onto the crate, wanting to break it. “Check what's inside it.” The first one says to the two beside him. Second guy picks it up, shoving his hand inside the bag. Taking out a baby blanket and baby toys. “Are you pregnant?” The first guy tilts his head. “N-no, it’s for my little sister.” The lady stammers, watching them go through her things. “Ah too bad. My wife’s been needing a few things for our daughter…” He hums, pretending to be disappointed. You were shaking with rage. They’re from the Uppercity and they want to steal from the less fortunate!? How does that make sense? “[Name]. Please. I’m figuring out how to get the stuff don’t worry.” Ekko places a hand on your back. You shoot your head his way. “Hurry.”
“My sister needs that stuff though.” The girl cries out, she goes to grab the bag but gets shoved back into the wall. You stand up, jumping over the crate and attacking the guy who pushed her. “[Name]!” Ekko grabs his head, irritated that you didn’t listen to him. He turns around the building, wracking his brain on how to help you and the other girl now. Making an escape plan.
You attempt to choke the guy out, he flails around, reaching behind him to pull you off but you don’t loosen your grip. Legs wrapped around him like a koala to a tree. “You bitch, let me go!” The enforcer shouts, back into a wall and slamming your body. It barely affects you, you tear off his hat, pulling at his hair and scratching his face. “You like putting your hands on women? Huh?” You grit your teeth, unfortunately your attack didn’t last long when the other enforcers pulled you off of the main guy.
You kick your legs. “Don’t touch me!” You scream, shimmying out of their grip. Kicking one guy in the crotch. Elbowing the other guy in the face. “Fuck!”
You grab the closest thing to you, which was a metal scrap. You hit the one guy repeatedly until he was curled on the ground. When you look up to the second one he was already running away.
Your attention goes back to the first guy and the guy who you had on the ground got up to follow the other that ran away. You take out your pocket knife, flipping it open. You jab at him but he dodges out of the way. The two of you go back and forth for a while until you step on one of the child’s things, slipping backwards on your ass. “Hah, stupid cunt.” The enforcer laughs. You slide your body backwards.
“Oh. no you don’t.” He stomps down on your ankle, putting his full weight on you. You scream out in pain. Ekko comes running towards you as the officer twists on your already broken bone. Ekko takes the baby toy and breaks it over the guy's head. The enforcer turns to him, finally getting off of your ankle. The pain shoots throughout your body. You let out a sob, gripping onto your own jacket.
Ekko fights with the enforcer, throwing punches towards his face. The guy couldn’t keep up with the hits, losing balance. The girl they were helping comes up with the scrap you originally had and bashes the enforcer's head, knocking him out.
The girl breathes heavily, Ekko running down to your aid. You don’t move the hurt leg, just holding yourself as you cried. “Shit.” You mutter, throwing your head back. “You okay? Can you move it?” He touches your shoulder, his other hand on your knee. “No! I can’t! It hurts!” You hyperventilate. He frowns. “I can get someone to help. I’ll be right back.” The girl from before says, picking up her things. Ekko only nods in response as she runs away from the scene.
“It’s going to be alright, I promise.” His body shakes, hating that you got hurt because he didn’t know how to help. Wanting to figure out a safe exit instead of joining the fight. “Ekko, it hurts.” You whine, grabbing onto his arm and gripping it. “I know, I know. Fuck. I’m sorry.” He looked around, he didn’t know where the girl was going or when she’d come back.
Your best bet was getting you to the other Fireflies. There was a medic there. “Okay, I’m going to lift you up. You think you’ll be okay?” He questions, getting on his feet, crouched down to get into position to lift you up. “Maybe, I don’t know.” You moan, squeezing your eyes shut. You were sweating from how bad it hurt and the mask only made it worse.
“Okay, on the count of three I’m going to lift.” He warns you, his arm going underneath your knees and the other firmly on your back. “Mhm.”
“One… two… three.” His body goes up and you let out a squeal. The feeling of your ankle not having a place to rest made the injury ache. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” He repeats, running through the allies back to home. Your little noises of pain only made his heart hurt even more. It was his fault you were dealing with this.
“Do you want me to stop?” He slows his pace a little just in case but you shake your head violently. “Keep going please!” You beg, your head against his shoulder and your arms wrapped around his body. He pushes forward, turning down the last ally. Two Firefly members stood in front of the entrance. “Open it!” He shouts, the two were confused at first but when they saw your body in his arms they hurriedly did as told.
After getting to the medic, he worked his magic, wrapping your ankle. Ekko was outside the room the entire time, pacing back and forth as he had to hear your pain-filled cries. They gave you pain medicine but it hadn’t kicked in yet.
When it went quiet he stopped in his tracks. His eyes were staring at the door. The medic comes out, Ekko attempts to rush in but he’s stopped with a hand on his chest. “Let us speak first.”
Ekko’s eyes land on your body lying limp on the bed, chest heaving up and down. The medic closes the door. “She won’t be able to walk on that for 6 months. Whoever did that to her crushed it to a point that I’ve never seen before.” He tells Ekko whose nose is scrunched in anger. “Here’s the pain medicine she’s going to need for the next few weeks until the pain calms down.” He shakes the bottle before handing it over.
“Anything else?” Ekko asks, antsy to see you. “No, go ahead.”
The boy was next to you as fast as you heard the door open. You squint your eyes open. The light being bright after wearing a mask and tears not flooding down your face anymore. “I’m so sorry.” Ekko falls down to his knees, his head bowed down. “It’s not your fault. I was an idiot to think I could take them.” You sigh. “I’m sorry for not listening to you.” You sincerely tell him. He looks up at you.
“You didn’t do anything wrong, I promise.” He grabs your hand. “I can’t believe I didn’t help you. If I stepped in this wouldn’t have happened to you. Hearing your pain was like daggers through me. It’s my fault this happened. I can’t protect the one person that means so much to me.” He rants with a sour expression on his face. Gripping onto your hand.
“Like that scream you let out, I repeat it in my head. It’s all I hear right now. How could I let this happen to someone I love?” He tears up, you watch him quietly as he vents. Your heart filled with butterflies by his words. “You love me?” You ask in a whisper. His eyes widened, just now catching what he just blurted out.
“I mean, I have love for you. Am I in love with you? Pssh, I mean I could be? Who knows? I say crazy things sometimes.” He lets go of your hand, now rambling on and on.
“Ekko.” You smile. “Yes?” He asks with his hands behind him. Looking guilty. “I love you too.” You giggle.
“Really?” His head perks up, you nod, putting your arms out for him to hug you. He falls into your body, pulling you into a tight embrace.
“Thank god because I would’ve killed myself or something if you didn’t feel the same way.” He jokes, causing you to laugh loudly. “You’re so stupid.” You snort.
“Whatever, you love me.” He proudly reminds you, keeping himself on top of you.

You were always a little cocky. You thought the most of yourself, and that was fine, that's what Ekko loved about you, especially in moments where it came to bite you in the ass, like now.
"Are you sure, love?" He chuckled softly as he sat down in his desk chair, leant back with his knees spread as his dark beautiful eyes watched as you sat atop his desk, "I don't wanna break you." You couldn't help but laugh at his teasing and condescending tone, taking it as his way of challenging you as you hopped off his desk, "I'll be just fine, Ekko," you smirked as you maneuvered yourself in between his thighs, making his face somewhat leveled with the blessing in between your legs. "I'm a big girl, baby, I can handle myself," You continued as you stood before him in nothing but short, tight, black leather shorts that were paired nicely with fishnets and a makeshift crop top. The soft and plush skin of your thick thighs pushed through the holes of the fishnets, he couldn't help but eye you up and down to take in all of your curves. It wasn't until you gently pinched his chin with your thumb and pointer finger that he stopped looking at you, his eyes locking yours before he smirked. "You a big girl, huh?" He chuckled. "Yea, I'm not like those other bitches you used to fuck, I can actually handle it," you smirked as you leaned down closer to him, your hands resting on his arm rests as you bent down. Something about the way your body was bent down and the way your words slipped past your lips, it made his dick jump in his cargo pants. "Alright, show me how much of a big girl you are~"
He forced your words right back down your throat when he barely sinks the tip of his cinnamon brown, 8.5 inch, girthy cock into your soft, tight, little pussy and you start whimpering, panting out tiny little breaths as you feel him slowly stretch you open. "Damn baby, I thought you were a big girl," he chuckled "you can't even get past the tip princess," he cooed as his big form trapped you against the bed, his hand holding his weight up from beside your head as you look up at him with those big, needy, doe eyes. You didn't even have a comeback for his teasing comment, instead a broken whine slipped past your lips. He couldn't help the grunt that came out when your pussy tightened around his tip like a vice in an attempt to force him out. The mixture of your tightness and the sight of your pretty face scrunched up as you tried to inch away from him made his cock twitch as precum spilt out of his tip.
"Fuckk~" you whimpered as he free hand gripped your hip, tugging you back to him with a breathy chuckle, "c'mon princess, don't tap out now, you doing so good f'me," he cooed mockingly, coaxing tears from your eyes as he sunk deeper into your tight pussy. "Poor baby, what's wrong?" He smirked as he reached up, wiping your tears from your cheeks with his thumb. His condescending tone made you want to curl up into a ball, you suddenly felt so much smaller under him, and your sniffing and crying as he sunk farther into you didn't help.
The stretch hurt so much that it left your legs shaking and you clawing at his forearms. You were thankful that Ekko had ditched the his condescendingness, gently coaxing you through it with "your doing so good f'me," and "I got you baby, just a little more," before messily kissing you so deeply that it left your head spinning with love. All whilst holding the back of your knees to your chest, leaving your feet dangling over his shoulders as he watched his cock bully its way into your tight, weeping pussy.
"Shit baby, I bet you wished you listened to me now~" he cooed softly as his eyes rolled back, feeling you clench down on him so hard that he could barely move in you.
After that, you learned to not be so cocky and listen to him…

Spending time with ekko, jinx and your twin girls
featuring. ekko x wife!reader
what the title says, jinx is basically the aunt to your twin daughters, very sweet and chaotic
Tumblr media
One of your twin daughters darted ahead on unsteady legs. Her energy, an exact match for her father’s, while her quieter sister clung to your hand with her big and curious eyes watched everything with caution. Ekko walked on your other side, keeping a sharp eye on the more adventurous twin. Meanwhile, Jinx strolled behind, her oversized gun slung lazily over her shoulder. She hummed an off-key tune, her bright blue braids swinging, but her sharp eyes never left the girls.
“Careful there, little spark!” Ekko called out as the hyperactive twin tried to leap over a particularly large puddle, barely making it to the other side without falling in.
Jinx grinned wide and crouched down next to the puddle. “Puddle’s lava now, kiddo. You touch it, you burn up!” she said, her voice both playful and mischievous.
“Really?!” The excitable twin’s face lit up with excitement as she turned back to try the jump again, more determined this time. You shot Jinx a knowing look, but she shrugged innocently. “What? Keeps her sharp!”
“Sharp enough to break a leg that is,” you muttered, though you couldn’t help but smile.
Ekko scooped up the puddle-jumper just as she turned for another run, hoisting her up effortlessly. “Alright little one, that’s enough daredevil training for today. You’re gonna give your mama a heart attack,” he said, pressing a kiss to the top of her wild curls. She giggled, kicking her legs in protest but not really trying to escape his hold.
Meanwhile, the quieter twin tugged at your hand. “Mama, why is Jinx’s gun so big? Can I hold it?” she asked, her voice soft but filled with curiosity.
“Nope, nope, nope,” Jinx chimed in, spinning around to walk backward and face the girl. “My babies don’t touch guns until they’re, like, I dunno… fifty. Maybe.” Her tone was light, but her eyes hardened for a moment, her protectiveness shining through.
“She’s not kidding,” Ekko added, giving Jinx a look that silently thanked her.
The five of you reached the marketplace, where familiar faces greeted you with nods and smiles. Jinx let out a dramatic whistle as she spotted a stand selling fresh sweets. “Oh-ho, look at that! Who wants candy?” she asked, already reaching for her coin pouch.
“Me! Me!” the hyper twin yelled, practically climbing over Ekko’s shoulder to get down.
The quieter twin looked up at you, silently asking for permission. You laughed softly and nodded. “Go on. Just one each, though.”
As the twins ran to Jinx, Ekko slipped his arm around your waist, pulling you close. “You okay?” he asked softly, his tone cutting through the noise of the market.
You leaned into him, watching Jinx hold the twins’ hands as they inspected the candy options like they were choosing treasure. “Yeah. Just glad we’ve got jinx around to help us watch out for them, especially the adventurous one.”
“She’d die for them,” Ekko murmured, his voice warm but serious. “Literally.” You nodded in response to his words, because you truly did know deep down the jinx cared for the girls just like she did with Isha.

Spoilers for Arcane Season 2 Act 1
Just my thoughts
Um found family was not on my bingo card but goddamn it if something were to happen to Isha, Jinx, or Sevika.....Riot Games count your motherfucking days.
Omg Jayce stop touching the motherfucking runes for the love of god!! You himbo! Didn't your mom tell you not to touch things you dont know where they come from?
Vi...baby. You are just having a rough time.
Viktor? Becoming Jesus? Was not at all what I was expecting? Also that weird chrysalis made me more uncomfortable than I would like to describe.
Ekko, let Heimerdinger sneak around. The fur ball is trying to keep everyone from killing themselves, at least let him have some fun
Also the grey looked absolutely terrifying and I don't know how I feel about the strike force using it to gas out places. I mean there were literally pictures of the effects of that stuff.
Jayvik and CaitVi..... say what you want about the breakup but god damn you guys aren't coping well.

SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE AN EDIT OF TIMEBOMB TO “Not a lot, just forever” by Adrianne Lenker AND ILL LITERALLY GIVE YOU THE EXACT WAY TO EDIT IT I DON’F EVEN NEED CREDITS I JUST WANNA SEE IT
Not a lot, just forever
honestly this part is optional but I feel like the audio is too much of a kickstart to start with the line below
And your dearest fantasy
stick with me on this. So it’ll be Ekko heaving and conflicted in this scene:
Tumblr media
For the entire duration of the lyrics until it’ll transition into the next set of lyrics where… (continue reading under the next lyric)
Is to grow a baby in me
it’ll tradition to Jinx’s face in that scene also for the entire duration of this set of lyrics:
Tumblr media
Then slowly fading into the next scene of… (continue reading under the next lyric)
I could be // a good mother
(For the “I could be” part)
Isha running towards Jinx when Vi is abt to kill her (!)
Tumblr media
(Now for the “a good mother” part)
Jinx holding onto/trying to push away Isha when held under Vi’s fist.
Tumblr media
So the faces are like a parallel of scenes. I would have really liked for the clip shown directly above of Jinx holding Isha to come right after the scene of Jinx on the ground after fight Ekko because then the parallels would’ve matched better but the edit needed more clip transitions and more clarification so it’s kind of a must with this order. So if y’all could maybe make it very clear it’s supposed to be referencing a parallel that would be amazing (!)
And I wanna be your wife
For every syllable we’re gonna transition to a different scene with young Powder and Ekko specifically with these scenes in this order:
Tumblr media
I tried my best to explain the syllables=scenes lmao
So I // hold you // to // my knife
(For the “so I // hold you” part)
We’ll start with the quick panning from one scene to another because the lyrics go by quick in this part of the song—so we’ll start with the scene of Jinx holding her gun during “So I” before cutting to Ekko standing there all angry during “Hold you”
Tumblr media
(Now for the “to // my knife” part)
The reason I separated the lyric is because “to” drags on for about the same amount of time “my knife” is sang for. So it’ll be the part where Ekko is charging at Jinx with his board and stealing the hex orb thing, then quickly panning to the part where Ekko is getting the upper hand in the fight as he leaps towards Jinx.
Tumblr media
Kind of like the first part of the entire lyric block where thy change scenes in between the double slash mark (//)
…also I know all of the clips in this part are very out of order from the actually scene in the show but it needs to be like this in order for a complete poetic masterpiece…
And I steal // your letter
(For the “and I steal” part)
Nowwwww is where Ekko will be looking up at the mural of Powder in the Firelight Base because it’s supposed to be sort of suggesting that he stole one last memory of Powder:
Tumblr media
(Now for the “your letter” part)
This is just the second half of the explanation above. It’s just the mural y’all. And honestly, use whatever clip of the mural you want like you could use the one where it’s zoomed in on Powder’s face, or you could use the one where it’s a wide shot that captures Ekko and Vi in the frame.
Tumblr media
This is obviously the close up on Powder on the mural,(which is preferred) but honestly if you guys are going through the trouble of making this edit then choose whatever clip for this part bc I’m eternally grateful.
Not a lot // just forever
Because I’m running out of the amount of photos I can add to a post, I’ll merge both side of the double slash lyric scene separation (//) into one photo for explanation
Tumblr media
The top clip of young Powder and Ekko will be running for the duration of “Not a lot” and then after that lyric has passed, then the bottom scene of them fighting it out as their older selves in real time will play for the duration of the lyrics “Just forever”
Intertwine // some together
I couldn’t really choose one parallel scene from the finale fight because there’s so many so you guys just take your pick from the groups.
P.S. the scene on the top with the the one playing during “Intertwine” and the scene connected on the bottom half with be the one playing during “Some together”
(I’ll repost with the final photo bc I’m at my photo limit 😭)
ANYWHOOOOO
I was thinking that all the clips should start with high velocity and then quickly move into slow motion for the clips especially because they’re short clips and they’ll go quickly… yeah if you don’t understand what I mean, I guess what I’m trying to say is make it twixtor and then speed it up at the beginning so it’s like smoothing transitioning Ykwim??
Feel fully entitled to transition the clips however you want, you can fade into other clips for more drama idk. Just suggesting slo-mo clips because the scene are short 👍

୭ 𝗗𝗢 𝗜 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗛𝗜𝗠? ˚. ᵎᵎ
ekko 𝒙 fem!reader
Tumblr media
୨୧ English is not my first language, so I regret in advance if something reads weird or is misspelled.
୨୧ I had a dream where I had a baby and when I woke up I realized it wasn't real. FOR SOME REASON IT BROKE MY HEART SO THIS IS INSPIRED BY THE IMAGINARY BABY MY BRAIN JUST DECIDED TO MAKE UP
୨୧ The baby's name is up to you, I'd like to know your ideas ;)
୨୧ I'm definitely writing about Vi exploring the Firelights' hideout and randomly running into a girl holding an exact copy of her friend Little Man in arms.
₊˚ ✧ ‿︵‿୨୧‿︵‿ ✧ ₊˚
Firelight's hideout was eerily quiet. You were standing at the foot of the tree with a small bundle in your arms. The baby—Ekko’s son, your son—stared up at you with wide, curious eyes, his features a miniature reflection of his father’s. The sight was a double-edged sword: it filled you with a bittersweet warmth and an aching longing.
It had been months since Ekko left to investigate the infected tree, months of waiting, worrying, and shouldering the responsibilities he had once shared with you. Every day, you prayed he would walk back through the doors, his grin lighting up the room like the first rays of dawn. But every day, he didn’t.
Your baby gurgled, tiny fists gripping your necklace, the one with the hourglass symbol that your boyfriend had made just for you. His presence was both your anchor and your heartache. He was everything you had left of Ekko, and you had to believe Ekko would come back. He had to. For his family. For his people.
Some members of the Firelights had stepped in to help, as they always did. They made toys, looked after him while you were busy with other things at the hideout, you even found some of the older children telling him stories about his father, how he saved them from somewhere or how much your son looked like him. But they couldn’t replace him, no matter how much they tried. Your son needed his father. And so did you.
When you told Ekko you were pregnant, you braced yourself for anything—confusion, fear, anger. You hadn’t anticipated his face breaking into the widest grin you’d ever seen, his laugh bubbling out like an uncontrollable stream of joy.
“Wait, wait—are you serious?” he had asked, his voice cracking with excitement.
You nodded, watching as he leapt up from his seat, pumping his fists into the air before grabbing you in a tight embrace. He kissed you so many times you lost count, his words spilling over each other like rushing water.
“Thank you,” he whispered against your hair. “I don’t even know what to say—thank you.”
It was… overwhelming, to say the least. You couldn’t fathom how someone with so much already on his shoulders could embrace another responsibility so wholeheartedly. But Ekko didn’t just embrace it; he flourished.
As he did with everything in his life.
The crib was his first project. He had pieced it together with determination etched into his features, sanding the wood and painting it himself. He showed off every detail with pride, especially the carvings of tiny fireflies along the edges.
Then came the room. The Firelights banded together to help him paint the walls in bright, playful hues, with murals of fireflies glowing against a dark blue sky. You watched from the doorway, tears in your eyes, as Ekko stood back to admire their work, his hand resting on your growing belly.
Ekko had been an awkward yet dedicated father from the moment your baby was born. The first time he held his son, his hands trembled with a mix of fear and awe.
“He’s so small,” he had said, his voice barely above a whisper. But the way he looked at your baby, like he was holding the world itself, melted every doubt you had ever had.
He learned quickly. When your baby cried at night, Ekko was the first to his feet, scooping him up and rocking him gently until the cries faded into tiny hiccups. He talked to him, sang to him, shared stories of Zaun and the Firelights as if the baby could understand every word.
“I want him to know,” he told you one night, his voice quiet as he cradled his son in his arms. “About where we come from. About what we’re fighting for.”
Those months together had been the happiest of your life. Even Vi’s unexpected return—her wide-eyed shock at seeing Ekko with a family—felt like a promise that things were looking up.
But then the tree fell ill, its vibrant glow dimming under the weight of some unknown blight. Ekko had left with promises to return quickly, determined to save the heart of the Firelights’ sanctuary. Weeks stretched into months. His absence became a gaping hole in your life, and with each passing day, the hope of seeing him again grew dimmer.
You swayed gently, humming a soft tune to calm the baby nestled in your arms. He had Ekko’s eyes and his white hair. Every time you looked at him, it was like a ghost of his father was there, watching over you.
The hideout huge door creaked open, and your heart jumped, hope flaring like a wildfire. But it wasn’t him. Just another Firelight returning from patrol. You swallowed the lump in your throat and forced a smile, nodding in acknowledgment.
“Still no sign?” you asked, though you already knew the answer.
The Firelight shook their head, avoiding your gaze. You felt your chest tighten, but you couldn’t let them see how much it hurt. You had to stay strong. For them. For your baby.
The day dragged on, the tension in the air palpable. The Firelights were restless, their leader’s absence weighing heavily on their spirits. They looked to you now, not as a leader, but as a symbol of hope. You hated it. You weren’t Ekko. You couldn’t inspire them the way he did.
All you could do was hold things together until he came back.

Some random thoughts about arcane s2 act2 before I forget:
I need to know wtf Jayce saw to make him do that
It’s tragic yaoi time fr 😔
Also WHERE are Ekko and Heimerdinger???
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the end of episode 6 feels like a “this is what could have happened if things went how they were going to” vision from Viktor? Wouldn’t be shocked if episode 7 began with a jump back in time, like a reset button sort of thing. But also that would feel like cheating
Everyone who predicted Warwick was Vander was so fucking right, a million points to you guys
Totally not as pressing as the other stuff but I love that Vi’s cage fighting makeup covers her tattoo. Super symbolic of her loss of self
CaitVi shippers this whole season: we’re so over… WE’RE SO BACK… wait we’re so over… LETS GO WE’RE FUCKING BACK
The black rose thing (especially how Elora was killed) was so unexpectedly brutal?? Like being constricted by thorny ropes until you explode?
And Mel bashing the head of an illusion that looks like her brother against a wall until it dies? Wtf???
This whole act was so much more violent than past ones, I feel like they stepped it up a bunch and I kind of love it
Kind of want to make a post listing all the brutal deaths this act bc every time I was like :0
ALSO I LOVE ISHA! MY BABY! HER NEW HAIR AWWEE
But like damn I hope she’s ok :(
There were honestly so many “too good to be true” undertones to this act. Good things kept happening and I was like I dunno… can’t trust it.

hii i have a request for the arcane characters! could you do if possible that the reader is genuinely listening to the saddest songs for the vibes and the characters are so confused as to why anyone would voluntarily listen to such sad music, i think that’d be so funny, totally okay if not, thank youuu 💗
Cute idea
Tumblr media
Jinx
Jinx barges into the room, her usual chaotic energy paused as the mournful lyrics of a heartbreak song fill the air. She tilts her head, squinting at you sprawled on the couch with your eyes closed.
“Wait, wait, this is what you’re listening to? Like… on purpose?” She snatches the speaker, holding it like it’s cursed. “Do you wanna cry or something? ’Cause I can make that happen without this boring mess.”
You shrug. “It’s for the vibes.”
Jinx stares at you, incredulous. “Vibes? This is ‘my goldfish just died’ music! You’re weird.” She cranks up the volume, grinning manically. “Let’s make it sadder!”
Vi
Vi leans on the doorframe, arms crossed, listening to the weeping violins and heart-wrenching lyrics. “Are you okay?” she asks, tone half-joking but with real concern.
“Yeah, why?” you reply, completely unbothered.
“Because this sounds like something you’d play after losing a street brawl and your dignity.”
“It’s relaxing.”
Vi snorts. “Relaxing? Sounds like a breakdown waiting to happen. Come on, let’s put on something fun.” She starts scrolling through your playlist.
Sevika
Sevika stomps into the room, her metal arm clanking as she grabs a cigarette. The melancholic melody of a piano catches her off guard, and she glares at your speaker.
“What’s this crap?” she demands.
“My playlist,” you reply calmly.
“Your playlist? What, are you trying to ruin my mood?” She sighs, rubbing her temples. “Who even listens to this kind of depressing junk for fun?”
“It’s soothing.”
Sevika raises an eyebrow. “You’re insane. You know that, right?”
Silco
Silco pauses mid-step when he hears the soft, sorrowful music echoing through the room. He watches you intently, his single eye narrowing.
“You willingly subject yourself to this… misery?”
“It’s not misery. It’s peaceful.”
He exhales slowly, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I fail to see how wallowing in despair can be considered peaceful. Is this some new form of self-punishment?”
“No, it’s just the vibe.”
Silco shakes his head, muttering, “Unbelievable.”
Vander
Vander is wiping down the bar when he hears the somber tones drifting from the corner where you’re seated. He frowns, leaning over the counter.
“Everything alright, kid?”
“Yeah, why?”
“’Cause that music sounds like someone just broke your heart, and I know that didn’t happen in my bar.”
You laugh softly. “It’s just nice to listen to.”
He shakes his head with a chuckle. “You young ones and your strange tastes. Back in my day, we’d drown our sorrows with ale, not songs.”
Ekko
Ekko skids into the room on his board, only to come to a screeching halt when he hears the slow, mournful tune. He stares at you like you’ve lost your mind.
“What is this?”
“My playlist,” you answer.
“You mean your ‘everything-is-awful-and-I-wanna-cry’ playlist?” He sits beside you, shaking his head. “You’re seriously choosing to be sad? Life’s hard enough without this depressing stuff, you know?”
You shrug. “It’s a vibe.”
Ekko sighs dramatically. “Man, I don’t get you.”
Jayce
Jayce steps into the room, pausing mid-sentence when the heart-wrenching lyrics reach his ears. He stares at you in disbelief.
“This is… intentional?”
“Yep.”
He blinks. “Why would anyone choose to listen to something so… miserable?”
“It’s calming.”
“Calming? It’s like a breakup and a rainy day had a baby!” Jayce rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. “You sure you’re okay? We can talk if you need to…”
Viktor
Viktor glances up from his work, the haunting melody pulling his attention. He adjusts his glasses, staring at you with a mix of curiosity and concern.
“This… music, it is very melancholic. Are you feeling alright?”
“Yeah, I’m good.”
“But it is so… sad,” he says, frowning. “It does not bother you?”
“Nope, it’s relaxing.”
Viktor mutters under his breath in Zaunite, shaking his head. “Strange. Very strange.”
Caitlyn
Caitlyn enters the room, her brow furrowing as she hears the sorrowful tones playing softly. She tilts her head at you, concern evident.
“Are you alright? That music is… quite somber.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just for the vibe.”
She raises an eyebrow. “The vibe? It sounds like the soundtrack to a tragedy.”
“Exactly.”
Caitlyn sighs, crossing her arms. “I’ll never understand why people subject themselves to sadness voluntarily.”
