I have a naruto question, does the leaf man actually sprout leaves or is that just a cute thing to draw him with please I need to know if he photosynthesisis

💛 hi emmet! 💛 thank u for ur naruto question ☀️☀️☀️ okay so while we never SEE him sprout a leaf from his head, he DOES have within him the capability to do so!!!! here are my proofs. im a naruto scientist

here is a gif of him using mokuton (his plant power!) and causing living wood to burst from his arm, so

PROOF 1.) we know he can create plant life from his body,

and are two trees he created for naruto to train on! so

PROOF 2.) he has the capability to create not just wooden beams but also fully foliage’d, living trees, trees which photosynthesize...

AND THEY ARE MADE FROM HIS CELLS SO LIKE. I THINK. LISTEN, I THINK HE MIGHT BE ABLE TO.....

ANYWAY. his former and current teammate, kakashi, has drawn him sprouting a Flower from his head—so either kakashi is just being silly (ENTIRELY POSSIBLE. HES A REALLY SILLY GUY) ORRRR

PROOF 3.) he has seen yamato sprout plants before. and thinks its like really funny (ALSO POSSIBLE!!!!!)

he does just. be a tree. sometimes. and i think this has to count for something...i think. god. god. he's so fucking weird.
