THANK FUCK I finally got my pain meds back today and I’m so fucking happy because my fibro has been kicking my fucking ASS for so long now and I really need it back to not doing that (as much) 😭😭😭
now if only the pharmacy would finally stop dicking around with my fucking mood stabilizer AS WELL (for the third fucking time) so I could not feel Like This™️ that would be great or I’m gonna start hunting all the idiot fucking pharmacists there for sport one by one until they give me my fucking meds again 🙄

#like damn if i really was 100% right about this before i even knew what i was talking about#anyways one of the many many problems with new 52 wonder woman is the fact that diana isnt religious enough#also that azzarello and chiang are incapable of imagining a feminist utopia which is the original genre that wonder woman comics were based#in in the same way that batman for example is connected to the noir genre. and the mythological aspects of the og wonder woman comics were#in fact a common framing aspect of the feminist utopia genre of the progressive era (with many of the deeper greek mythology aspects being#established as the foremost ww genre later on)#anyways this failure to understand this layering of genres in the ww mythology i believe is the principle contributor of why this run which#is popular with many and has such a footprint in other more mainstream media is hated by so many longtime wonder woman fans in that it not#only neglects but actively goes against key parts of her premise#a comparison could be made to a superman run that is heavily based in science fiction and exploring deep sci fi genre plots without any#understanding by the creators of why it matters that superman is champion of the oppressed and disrespecting that core part of him by in#some ways making him actually go against that in service of the high sci fi genre plots and conflict#and then ofc to translate better in this reality this run would function like a can of worms in that while dc in comics would eventually#course correct back to the base version the public opinion would become divided and especially adaptations would need all the canon changes#from that run torn viciously out of their hands bc they refuse to LET IT GO#anyways yeah teehee i swore to someone id never read it but i needed it for fic research purposes unfortunately so i started it. only read 6#issues but meh. first one wasnt terrible tbh id read worse but after that i got much more unhappy#anyways they simply dont understand why people like the amazons or why people should like the amazons. which again is like half the freaking#point bc like. feminist utopia genre. but i digress#its bad but its bad in a way that proves me right about why its bad so at least theres that#someday when i post my rebirth ww fic ill post the analysis of nu52 ww and the comparison to the beat movement/ginsberg that ive got in my#drafts. finally get that A in comic book literary analysis#blah

#the way the groups have been set up with each other is looking so terrible for the overall story#i just want some more plot and worldbuilding but if bae and cozmez keep winning we’re going to get nothing but more plotless fillers#i’m acually so sick of them winning everything. some of us have REAL PROBLEMS. what about alter trigger#the way akanyatsura and 1nm8 have the capacity to drive the story with their connection to alter trigger. and they might not even make it#i love bae but i’m kind of getting sick of the way paralive is written and the voting system that ruins everything#also like 😭😭 bae’s storyline i believe is Over. we dont need to touch that anymore#and cozmez have been through enough. just let them be happy dear god#we dont even know anything about iori yet despite the role he’s played in other ppl’s character arcs. INSANE#he was there for hajun’s phantometal erosion and kanata’s hallucination of nayuta BE SERIOUS#he has access to information that creates plot movement + he’s in a good position as the head of the suiseki group#to go bar for bar with alter trigger given his resources and also his wide reach#also the stakes are high for both akyr and 1nm8 to reach / take down alter trigger#it just makes for an exciting story. u dont even need to take Creative Writing 101 to know this#i’m just getting so mad thinking about it. i’m allowed to be angry because i love these characters & the premise#and i hate seeing it go to waste#not to mention the connection yeon conglomerate had with alter trigger themselves? what happened to that#getting dongha an arc and also simultaneously address yeon company’s unethical / dubious investments? I was like with this guy who was really fucking horny, but he was HUNGRY too and he wanted McDonalds. So ofc I got him some and I got him a pumpkin pie thing from there and when I handed it to him, he was gonna fuck it...
And I was like oh no that's gonna give you second degree burns man, but he didn't care
Anyway I woke up thinking "no, don't fuck the pumpkin pie, man"

i do think its kinda funny when i see someone in the year of our lord 2024 talk about vocal synth music like its all gone downhill since like 2010 because like dont get me wrong i love a good niconicodouga-ass 2008 ass vocaloid joint BUT also like. the past couple years have had the most fascinatingly creative and expressive uses of vocal synthesizers ive ever heard in my life DJFSKHJDFS dont write it all off just yet!!
#usually i only see that from people who havent actually listened to any vsynth music from the past 15 years so i understand why they got to#that conclusion. and also usually theyre people who didnt listen to much vsynth music in the first place LOL they just dont know#but it is still a little funny. brother there are things beyond your wildest dreams if u just look#like some personal highlights: the stuff by rinri - particularly their use of the meika girlies#dont carry our memories away is LIFECHANGING the whispers. the spoken parts. the BELTS#plus the haunting and unrelenting instrumentation. fantastic song#and naisho no pierced's propose + birthday + gift sort of trilogy of songs. gift especially has been unreal#again the dynamics of soft intimate whispers to belts but also those fuller high notes with edges of growlyness.#plus the songs just generally rock. and those LYRICS. absolutely intense like physically painful and frightening like#yearning and codependency and possession. and the tuning and production just amps it up more#OH and slave.v.v.r has been doing crazy things for even longer but i only started getting into his stuff recently and holy shit#love eater is like. the scariest vocaloid song ive ever heard not because of the lyrics. but because of the tuning#im like. scared. i cant stop listening to it. the heavy synthesized breathy main vocals and whispered harmonies plus the VOCAL FRY#i didnt realized vocaloid5? i think? has a vocal fry option built in i heard? thats crazy#but specifically in love eater the fry and growl is amped up so deep and loud and clear compared to everything else it like#emphasizes the artificiality of the voice while also amping up the expressiveness#its awesome. and on the older slave.v.v.r songs i heard i will hit you 8759632145 times with this piano. also so fucking cool#addicted to that song. 1) its a great jazzy rocky piano tune with this piano flourish at the end of each phrase that sounds fantastic#but also 2) the lyrics are insane. using kanji to write english??????#people are doing wild ass things with vocal synths rn you guys#this isnt even getting into some of the really unique synths themselves too. adachi rei is awesome i love that shes just like#the perfect inbetween of sample based and reconstruction based vocals. shes a sample based synth#but her samples were drawn by hand LOL shes like dectalks granddaughter to me.....#a really good use of adachi rei is iyowa's heat abnormal/heat anomaly/whatever its called ITS AWESOME thats what it is hjrkfdgfd#i think the fact that vocal synths can be so realistic and clean and noiseless out the gate now has made people really stop worrying#about like. realism all together and looking more into expressiveness. omg vocal synth modernist movement

#playing doa dimensions#after playing hours of doa 4#the first game takes place in 2011#is all about cloning#also fame douglas was trying to “guide the human consciousness through a fighting tournament”#also they have some of the best fighting outfits ive seen#the only reason i was thinking about this was thinking about the hand to hand combat#in both prototype and assassins creed#and they weren't fleshed out but in Alex's case a lot of his fighting relies on hand to hand#and it suffered from not having a fluid combat system when a lot of the fighting in prototype relies on position and what ur using#ie the musclemass the hammerhands the whip the claws sword#even throwing things#also the tag in/out system was great especially with throwing and grabbing in doa which is a mechanic both prototype and assassins creed#like if i were to say the biggest mechanics shared by prototype and ac is the parkour movement fighting in wide open areas and how to evade#doa fighting mechanic would add some serious polish#maybe with sword mechanics from soul cal?#the up and down movement would lend well to 1v1 encounters and could be expanded to close to what the og games have now#when facing more than 3 enemies#idk just spitballing#the mechanics.....
