“What’s your problem??”
My problem is that I was forced to develop a constant iron-grip handle on my feelings from a very young age but then had to spend the rest of my life being called a bitch for expecting emotional maturity from adults around me.
My problem is that I had more respect of others and emotional intelligence at four years old than almost everyone I am forced to interact with on a daily basis and apparently it’s me who is the problem when I get frustrated about that.
My problem is that when I’m standing in a place where everyone agrees that it should be a quiet and calm place and there are actual rules on the wall that says it should be a quiet and calm place and people who are being paid to be here have been specifically instructed to be quiet and calm; I expect it to be quiet and calm. And when I get annoyed that it’s not, I’m told that the issue is that I expected rules (and common sense and the fucking social contract) to be reality, which is apparently an unreasonable thing to assume and asking others to comply with this assumption is seen as entitled and bothersome.
That is my problem.

i swear every time we see a singlet of all people going into detail about their anti-endo stances and lumping it in with like people generally seen as bad it just gives me the urge to be more annoyingly plural on main everywhere bc at that point i can just tell that systems existing in general makes you uncomfortable on some level if you feel the need to dictate which systems are okay and acceptable by your standards bc even the ones you claim to accept will not always fall into the rules of the imaginary box you've set up and therefore will never be a safe person for any system to go to as a singlet
like honest to god you will be much safer as someone if you just. idk. give respect any system you come across and treat them with decency regardless of whether you understand or not because you are not going to have the full understanding of any system experience if you truly and fully are a singlet. you don't need to give your take of "i think [specific group of systems/plurals] is as bad as [x]" or "i don't think there's as many systems as there are really bc that's too rare" your singlet opinion on system discourse is meaningless
i'm not even saying this as part of a system who's collectively pro endo i'm saying this as someone who thinks singlets need to stop getting as involved in syscourse as some of them are in general. like at worst just state your stance and don't elaborate so i know whether to block you or not anything more is 10x more annoying if you're a singlet

have to be real & honest w u….they post who gets the highest grade in each class & this one girl got the highest grade in our writing class both semesters and i had peer reviewed her one assignment last semester like our big assignment & i do not get it……like if my professor wants me to write like that i do not want an A 😶 she had like 30 cases she cited and would write like a single sentence on each case or just like a parenthetical her writing was so hard to read bc she put way too much info i’m like how is she getting an A w that. like i was peer reviewing it w another girl & she was also like u use too many cases i’m mot crazy 😭 and like even my dean’s fellows were like u should find 3 or 4 good cases to use i guess this is why my professor did not enjoy my legal writing bc i didn’t use 20 cases 😔 sorry i 1. don’t have the will for that and 2. try to make my writing comprehensible. guess that is not what they want in law school 😩

Love seeing a "What will you refuse to eat" kind of thing bc there r plenty of foods I don't like, but I also have a Try Everything disease which means I want to try everything. Including things not meant to be eaten (like raw boba or plain espresso beans lol). & even foods I don't like, every so often I will try them again Just In Case, bc with like salsa and salad I used to hate them.but now I love them. So I've tried olives multiple times, I've tried salmon and other fish, & im just like "hmmm that's still a no for me" but I will probably try them again. Someday. Such is my nature.
