Am I the only one that always thought that the Rin we heard in cd drama Asatte was conceptually older?

I know asatte is not canon at all since Rumiko hasn't said so, but since back then it was more than obvious that both Rumiko and Sunrise staff were aiming/ok with a future potential canon sessrin.

So the thing is, that cd drama was introduced as the next chapter after the manga's ending chapter 558: Ashita (Tomorrow), the cd drama was called: "Chapter 559: Asatte(The Day after Tomorrow)" so we for sure know that quite time happened since then, but not exactly how much.

But what really makes me curious is Sess's famous (and infamous) confession speech, more exactly the line: "have you grown accustomed to life in the village?".

Sesshomaru had last last "canon" meeting with Rin in the village in chapter 558, how the scene plays is implied that Sesshomaru visits her from time to time, so is unlikely that Sesshomaru would say somethig like "having grown accustomed" if they just met little time ago.

Not only that but track 2 of the cd drama implies that Sesshomaru knew that KNOW was the time, that it was already time to find out a way to tell Rin how he feels. The CD drama never tells when exactly did Sess catch these feelings, but the way he did shows that maybe there is a huge difference between chaoter 558 Sess and cd drama Sess, in both time and feelings.

This one is just me and making fuss over things, but as how he said it it seemed like he was aware that Rin was already at an age to recieve marriage proposals and that's why he wanted her to know what he felt without forcing her to give him an answer right away or having the obligation to be with him.

The cd drama also implies that Sesshomaru hasn't met with Rin for some time already. A lot of dialogues imply that quite a lot of time has passed since the epilogue (Kagome's problem about technically not being officially married to Inuyasha after all this time, Miroku's jealously over Sango not giving him attention for quite some time already).

And the fact that the way Rin's dialogue plays she seems to be a little more mature than her "13" years old self, cuz she was the one that started the whole "marriage proposal" thing and wanted to know "what did [Inuyasha] say to [Kagome]?" As if she herself wanted to know when somebody was proposing to her. This added to Sesshomaru's sudden hurry, tells me that Rin was at least 1-2 years older than her chapter 558 self or at least a proper age for feudal era Girls to recieve marriage proposals.

Poor girl, she started to fantasize about how would feel to being proposed and suddenly Sesshomaru proposes to her, of course she got embarrassed and decided that Sesshomaru was "the winner" 👀👀

CD drama anon here. Still, the audio keeps talking about a 3 year gap (For MirSan marriage at least) so it's a little unlikely what I said to be true at all, but still the point is that Rin (who never had a clear age to begin with) is suddenly curious and interested about marriage so that means she definitely reach that kind of age, so at least I would say almos 1 year gap between 558 and 559 if we try to explain things. I don't think sunrise will follow it anyway.
