I'm a Molly stand and i don't get why there is so much pity towards her. She is not a child! She is not Poor Molly! She is a grown adult with a great ass job that she loves and she is so good at it that BOTH Sherlock and Mycroft have taken into account her professional experience. I get that she is shy and sensitive and that she is pinning after Sherlock since the first season but I don't get why she is so often treated with pity. She is one of the best characters of the show and it has nothing to do with her being in love with Sherlock.

That being said, I really dislike S4 in general. I think there are so many things done wrong and I could ramble about it for hours but I think people at times get a bit carried over with Johnlock. Do i like the ship? Yes. Do I think John and Sherlock love each other? Yes! Does that mean they CAN'T feel romantic love for other people? No!

I've talked about John and Sherlock's love in another post so I don't want to say much about that, but for me if something was obvious in both S4 AND S3 is that Sherlock has some degree of romantic affection for Molly, I won't say love because I don't like S4 but as it was portrayed it's clearly love. That moment, for Sherlock, is horrible because he is forced to acknowledge something he does not wish to adress. Love is not easy for him, it's a weakness, something to be exploided. And John has often faced many threats by being close to Sherlock, but Molly? Molly has always been safe, always out of reach; and (in my opinion) Sherlock has always intended to keep her away despite what he feels, because it would put her in danger; and Sherlock knows she doesn't deserve to be in danger or gat hurt because of someone like him.

I'm an avid Molliarty shipper and that's never going to change but i'm also a multishiper that believes love is too complex to be expressed in something as plain. For me, Molliarty is something very difficult to happen in canon. It could happen, given the right circumstances but that's not what we are talking about. For me in canon we have several people in love and several relationships. We have Sherlock and John loving each other beyond romantic and platinic lables, there's John loving Mary (ignore S4 because i just dislike so much that he tried to cheat), we have Sherlock being very deeply sexually attracted to Irene and him also being in love with Molly.

He is in love with her and it feels so innocent and wary. He wants her to be safe and happy and puts what is best for her first. I don't know if he would act on it, I doubt it, but the love is there, even when it has not been openly expressed. It's there.

I won’t explain to you why we celebrate the “I love you” (and i won’t even bother to adress those “he didn’t mean it”, “poor Molly”) because I can’t care less if you don’t understand… 

But let me tell you this: When the trailer came out, several of you thought that the “I love you” was for John (yes, even when he was behind Sherlock!!) so, don’t come now to say that the confession is fake.

Oh! Right! And now several others of you think that was te perfect moment for Sherlock to declare his feelings for John. So, is not a forced confession then?

I know a lot of ppl ask u abt jason or dick but im wondering now, what do u think about bruce? I find him a very interesting character whose characterization is incredibly feeble, both bc of his 80 years of history and the tendency writers have to project their own male fantasies on him. So i'd definitely love to hear ur own thoughts about him. I personally enjoy depicting him as someone morally grey, although my sympatization for him changes day to day. Wether you think he is a good or a bad person, i believe u need to make him dedicated to gotham and the bat as a symbol, and that comes with all its advantages and drawbacks

bruce wayne is sooooo interesting (derogatory) because like u said, he carries the baggage of every masochismo author that decided batman was too woke and should hurt his kids and that supporting gotham’s infrastructure is for pussies. there’s also the flipside of that, where he’s the perfect father who’s waaaay too emotionally regulated for my taste. both of these interpretations are bad imo, and both functionally miss the point.

i think part of this (in fandom) is an obsession with moral angst — u can either be a good person doing good things, or a bad person doing bad things. think about how some characters are crucified while others are babied. someone always has to be absolutely right, and the other has to be absolutely wrong.

in reality, there are a lot of people who are fundamentally kind and fundamentally want to do good that are really terrible to the people in their lives. bruce wayne being someone who relies on having so much control that it implodes his connections to the people around him is an important part of his character. his profound love for his children, for gotham and her people, for humanity in general and his belief in peoples ability to change, doesn’t circumvent the fact that he’s often an emotionally abusive man who hurts others to achieve his own ends. he contains multitudes.

writing him as a functionally irredeemable, violently abusive person is the anti-thesis to the symbol that he himself created. no, i personally don’t believe he actively beats his kids (even though it’s supported in the text). no, i don’t think he’s an irredeemable sadist (as much as frank miller wants u to believe otherwise). to have people like dick grayson and diana and clark and dinah love and believe in u means that there has to be something there worth caring about, otherwise the whole universe is gonna fall apart.

that’s what makes his relationship to cass so interesting — he sees his neuroticism, his dedication to the cause above all else, and does not find it admirable. he finds it confronting and upsetting. and to be clear, cass (like dick) is very much the moral ideal of what batman should be, but still bruce finds it hard to deal with!!

his abject failures — his treatment of the robins, his crippling guilt about jason, his fears of becoming a killer, the impossible load he gives himself to carry — means that when he’s shown as someone who genuinely cares, it makes him more complex. like yeah, bruce isn’t actually a cold hearted person. he really really gives a shit. too many shits, to be totally honest. he’s a morally grey person that wants to do good, but is so terrified of losing control that he keeps others away and hurts them in the process. there’s a reason why his emotional crutch was a traumatised eight year old fr. nothing is more important than the mission, including bruce wayne himself

can I talk about something real quick?

I hate how 99% of arcane fans completely Ignore their favorite character's flaws so much. I know this has been complained about multiple times but i genuinely get so tired of it and physically need to turn off my phone when that happens.

And Im not talking about Jinx, everyone knows she's not a great person, neither am I talking about silco or Sevika or quite literally any of the characters that are placed on the darker shade of grey.

Im talking about characters like Viktor or Mel or Jayce, Vi & Caitlyn aswell, but specifically the first three.

Look, we all know what their intentions are, they only wanted to help, they wanted the best for their cities/family and their goals, but the way they do it is Flawed. The sacrifices and nuance they go through and do just to achieve that specific ideal and goal affects how morally ambiguous or not they are.

What annoys me is that most of these people KNOW, but refuse to accept it and continue bringing down other characters because they refuse to accept there's different opinions over something in the show.

Especially with viktor, he is NAUNCED. He is selfish one way or another, he is willing to destroy himself for the sake of making something too far gone work, and not only did that destroy him, but completely result in the death of Sky. And eventually, that is going to destroy his relationship with Jayce too. He refuses to create weapons even if it means as a tool for self defence because he refuses to accept that zaun is not the most stable in terms of aggression, he got mad at Jayce for calling them dangerous when there was a literal riot on the bridge, a scene playing right infront of his eyes. Again, he is rightful to feel protective of his home, but he is ignorant towards certain things too.

I see so many people ignore viktors flaws and wrong doings, did we forget who he's going to become next season or what?? He literally committed a murder wether he wanted to do it or not. which is lowkey kinda hilarious because I don't see people defending Jayce for murdering that child despite the fact that its equally as wrong as Viktors mishap. He.is.not.flawless.

Mel, oh my god. i love Mel with all my heart, shes my everything, but she is a councilor. yes she's focusing on proving her family wrong, yes she wants to make piltover a better, safer place, and I don't think she's completely ignorant towards the undercity's state, but what has she done about it? Now, its not entirely her fault, I know, its all accumulated from Himerdingers ignorance, but that does not change the fact that she is apart of the same body that kept the undercity in its current state with all its problems for generations. She is a manipulator too, she wants things to go her way, wether it was with good intent or not. She pushed for weapons, YES, as a means of self defense, YES as protection from external threats coming from places other than P&Z, but her mother wasn't completely wrong about how weapons will always be used in every way possible, but she finds it difficult to accept such fact. Not to mention the fact that she literally told a zaunite to create a weapon that would be used against zaun.

So no, her being manipulative is not hot (this literally pisses me off the most) , especially not after that scene with hoskel because she BASICALLY called him stupid and belittled him indirectly. Is it true hes not the smartest? Yeah, did she do it to get him under her palm and ended up using him to do something "Good" in the end? Yeah, Is she good at doing it? Yeah, does she look good while doing it? Yeah, but she looks good ALL THE TIME. Manipulation is not what makes her attractive, its a FLAW, an ugly one. So calling Mel attractive ONLY because she's manipulative is mischaracterization at its finest. And I will bring this point again, separate intention from action.

I don't want to get into more details about mel, I will lose myself, but she is FLAWED, shes morally grey, she isn't perfect, just as the other characters in the whole show.

Jayce, he goes through multiple extreme points during his arc, he's quick to decide on things. At some points it could be a good thing, like how he apologized to viktor for saying harsh words to him. But what his major flaw with this trait is the fact that he goes between violent and peaceful multiple times, figuratively AND literally. He was settled with the fact that he doesn't want to harm zaun, infact, he wanted to help them in the first place, but he got influenced, and ended up resorting to violence, he lost himself, and it ended with the loss of a child's life. He didn't want to make weapons before, got influenced, look where it got him now? He is selfish too, and the list goes on.

Though, Its rare to find people who defend Mel and Jayce in this entire fandom, most of the people I've seen who claim to be fans of them tend to do this all the time smh.

And I just know I will start a war as soon as I open my mouth to talk about Vi & Cait. Which is why I won't because this post is long enough and I want to cover other things.

Please keep in mind that I wrote everything as flatly as possible, so the way you understand the things I say may be different from what I initially thought of, I swear on my life I do not hate these characters, Jayce Mel & Viktor are literally my upmost favorite characters of all time.

This is mostly talking about how sometimes you need to separate the intentions from the actions these characters do, because most of the time, actions speak louder than words.

ALL your favorite characters in Arcane and flawed, they have problems, they aren't perfect. And that's what makes each so special, because it makes you wonder how they will clean their footsteps and deal with those said flaws later if they decide to partake the lighter path, or how they will step deeper into the darker one. And even so, they will still be on the grey scale.

By far, Ekko is the only character closest to white if im being honest, and he still isn't perfect.

Arcane fans need to understand their favorite characters in different points of view, not just from their eyes, even if you agree with their doings and find it right.

One big example that i will bring up again, that scene with Mel, Viktor and Jayce discussing the potential misuse of hextech as Viktor dismantles the bomb. You can understand Viktors point of view, but why not Mels too? (& Vice Versa)

Another is the scene when Vi finally gets to see her sister in episode 5, Caitlyn tagging along with her. You finally get to see powder and Vi reunited, you feel content, and then Jinx comes back and gets angry on why Vi is with an enforcer, which is well within her rights considering how they literally killed countless of zaunites and people, but why not understand from Caitlyns side too? Jinx is a wanted criminal, she'd put a building on fire, killed people in the process, stole volatile items with possibly horrible intentions considering what her crimes are.

ANOTHER is the bridge scene with Jayce and Viktor with the riots, Why the fuck is Jayce calling them dangerous infront of viktor??? Hes well within his rights to be mad! But he isn't WRONG, And jayce is under a lot of stress, and viktor is literally going against him by taking shimmer, and God that list never ends.

Literally almost any other scene.

caitlyn Ekko & Vi , Vi and the Council , Vi and Jayce , Jinx and Vi on episode 9 , Silco and Jayce , Mel and Ambessa , Mel and Viktor, Mel and Jayce in some scenes (like when she put him on the council) , singed and Viktor , etc etc etc

All of these characters are full of layer upon layer of writing, they're all so well written, their intentions, ideals, morals, are all bricks and pipes of what builds them as characters, but their flaws and nuance is the 'glue' of what keeps them standing too. They may have no choice but to do or say those things that they do or say, because if they don't, they will possibly crumble. But that does not mean it gives them a pass, in the end of the day,, murder is still murder, ignorance is still ignorance, manipulation is still manipulation, and etc. They're not all equally as horrible as the other, but that does not make them better qualities, comparing all these issues/problems and completely siding with one thing because you find A to be less horrible than B is not a good start to understanding Arcane or any show with a similar level of writing to it.

I have been reading time travel post ROTJ Vader fics and it´s been such a treat for me, they have a certain charm and allow for such awesome character work, especially when he goes back to the PT.

Because by all rights post ROTJ Vader is the most unaligned character your will ever find on star wars and at the same time the one who worries the most about the other characters given what he knows and his own experiences with both sides of the force picture his perspective, he understands and wants to protect people he feels a kinship for their experiences, including sith like Count Dooku, Ventress and Maul just as he tries to protect his family and the Jedi Order out of guilt and remorse and because it´s the right thing to do, inspired by his Son example that I want to hug him.

He even has some very complicated and intrincate feelings for Palpatine, as he should, because wether he likes it or not, he spend more than 20 years with him and genuinely liked him for a good period of that time. He was there with him even if they killed each other in the end and that isn´t easy to forget.

One of those fics, the "force of many sights" is one of the best because there Vader comes back as baby Anakin and its just so cute to imagine terribly menacing Vader in the body of a small, cute and even more traumatized kid than he was originally, but more than that, the changes he did to the past there, like getting himself into the creche instead of being trained by Obi-Wan as a way of getting close to Palpatine and convince Dooku of not falling to the darkside, it´s so nuanced and so well thought.

His love and care for Obi-Wan but also his hurt at remembering him abandoning him on mustafar so he avoids developing a close relationship with him this time around while also making sure he is getting over losing his Qui-Gon because he can´t help but worry, he definitely didn´t miss having feelings!! (he says with feeling XD) For this same reason he avoids Padme because he wants her to have a happy and long life without him even if only he will remember their kids :(

This context allows Vader/Anakin to be hurt, afraid and angry over so many of his young experiences but now understood as an adult what was done to him and what he did, like remembering killing the younglings while living with younglings and teaching them how to play hide and seek so they learn how to protect themselves(ouch my heart) or remembering his father figure leaving him to die but without hating or blaming Obi-Wan while also considering him family and loving him so he does his best to protect him from Palpatine, such a fresh take.

All of this mixed with his own mental games with Palpatine´s "mentorship" their "power games" he used to enjoy as Vader, now fully aware of what he is doing, doing his own kind of playing the "innocent victim" being fully aware and angry/sad/afraid of his old mentor, while undoing all of Palpatine´s plans and at the same time fight himself to stay in the light for the mere fact he was a Sith for 20 years and it´s actually hard to get over that without some time to process.

Okay, so instead of sleeping, I'm here writing this, but I just had to share my thoughts on episode 7 and the relationship between Armand and Louis.

I'll probably need to rewatch the episode a few more times to fully grasp everything and maybe make another post but wow—episode 7 was absolutely devastating.

Okay, so starting with Louis… Honestly, I can’t even be mad at Louis anymore. Initially, I was yelling at my screen, wondering if he was just blind. Armand’s manipulations have become so blatant, yet Louis doesn’t seem to notice. Watching this episode, seeing how Daniel doesn’t even get angry or judge Louis or get angry at Armand like he did last episode—it hit me. Louis probably knows deep down that Armand is behind everything, but he’s in denial. Because, as twisted as Armand is, Louis feels he’s all he’s got left. And I think Daniel starts to see this towards the end of the episode. Sure, he still states the facts, as a journalist does, and makes it obvious that he knows Armand is hiding things, but he doesn’t call Armand a liar like he did last episode, he just listens, and is calm because what else can he do?

Not only is there manipulation going on from Armand, but Louis also remembers and tells the story differently from how it happened as a coping mechanism. Because as much as I’d like to blame Armand on everything, the changes in Claudia’s turning, and his fight with Lestat were done by Louis, so he is very much lying to himself.

And what can Daniel do? What would Louis do if the last thread holding him was cut? Can Daniel do that to him? Does he have the right to do that? Would he cause him even more pain by doing that? Because as much as Louis is ignoring the obvious manipulation, as soon as it all comes to light, that bubble will burst and there will be no going back. At the same time, Daniel is not excusing Armand. I mean, the look he gives him in this scene is so telling. His voice is soft and almost surprised. "Wow, you saved Louis. How nice of you." But the way he looks at him, it's as if he's saying, "I know this is all a lie and you're the one behind all this, but I'll play along for now." I mean he could have easily just asked Louis if all of this doesn’t seem weird to him, driven that point forward more like at the beginning of the episode or last episode, but he just says “but not her” and that small sentence nearly broke the bubble of ignorance around Louis but oddly enough Daniel stops there, does not push a bit more. (I guess we’ll wait and see if this remains the same next episode).

As for Armand…I mean, I love him, and I think he’s a is brilliantly written character because he didn’t just isolate Louis; he stripped away everything in his life, turned his heart further against Lestat, and crafted scenarios where, even if Louis confronts the truth about his manipulations, he’s still trapped. Because what can Louis do? Abandon the only semblance of connection he has left? Lestat remarked in this episode that anything is preferable to loneliness for a vampire. Consequently, Louis would rather turn a blind eye than sever the last tie he holds. Even when Louis considered ending it all—something he already tried before—Armand wouldn’t permit it. Louis can’t even challenge Armand, given the disparity in their power. So, what else can he do!!

As for wether or not Armand is a villain, I can’t really say without watching the last episode, but I will say that know it’s easy to label him as merely evil and manipulative—traits he undoubtedly possesses—but I beg to differ on the notion that he feels no remorse. Yes, he’s orchestrated some truly horrible acts, even gave himself a front-row seat to watch it all go down, but to say he harbors no regret? I don’t believe that’s entirely accurate. I think, in his own warped way, a part of him believes he’s helping Louis, possibly as a coping mechanism for his own guilt.

As for what he did to Madeleine and Claudia, it was downright horrible and he 100% meticulously planned it all, still, I suspect a sliver of guilt does linger within him—not specifically for what he did to them, but for the essence of his actions and the hatred towards the loneliness that’s shaped him.

I mean, we have to remember that this is a man who endured unimaginable horrors even before he was turned, and has lived in solitude for 500 years! Lestat, at 150 years old, moved a man to tears by sharing his loneliness. Can you imagine the depth of pain, loneliness, self-loathing, sadness, anger, and a myriad of other emotions this man has borne for half a millennium?

This isn’t to say that Armand’s actions are justified—far from it. But it does highlight the devastating impact of loneliness on vampires and how it can profoundly twist their minds. For 500 years Armand has been alone and the only light he saw through that darkness was to take this half broken man, take everything he had and make him as broken as him to make sure he would always be his. Again, this does not justify his actions, but merely explains them.

All of this being said, the presence of guilt, albeit slight, likely twists inside him. Armand might reinterpret this feeling as ‘helping’ Louis, keeping him blissfully unaware of the harsh truths as a way to alleviate his own conscience. Kind of like, “I know I did this horrible thing, but there was no way around it, and I hate myself for it—for being this way. But I have to keep this man by my side for his own good and my own, by any means necessary.”

Also, just adding this, can we take a moment to discuss the lighting in this shot? Notice how Armand's face is partially shadowed when facing Louis, yet the side that's illuminated is turned towards Daniel. Honestly loved the lighting in this entire episode.

Anyway, this is precisely why I believe Louis DID asked Armand to erase those memories in San Francisco

And why he remove the torn pages from Claudia’s journals. Because he prefers a life of blissful ignorance over the agony of truth.

Of course Armand willingly, and easily went along with all of this because it keeps Louis by his side, so it plays nicely into his manipulations. Still, I do believe that Louis did in fact ask him to erase those memories. Does his consent to all of this make it any better? If anything, it makes it worse. This is a man so ensnared and without any escape that he’d rather erase painful memories—those that remind him of the grim reality of his situation—than live with them. And Armand’s mind is so twisted that he probably convinces himself it’s all right. In his mind, as long as he has consent, he isn’t doing anything wrong.

Anyway, that’s all I have for now but honestly, Louis’s only real escape now is through Lestat. Otherwise, he needs to figure out how to outmaneuver the master manipulator himself—because I doubt Armand will let go without a fight.

When you first met Geto, his hair was down and dried, like he washed it with dish soap. When the two of you started going out, not yet a couple, you grabbed his hand and brought him to your bathroom, using your expensive’s hair care product, bringing shine and silk texture to his long locks.

It was a pretty good looking mistake, honey. The man learned that day how much he loves his hair, and since he is not bothered enough to go buy his own shampoo and conditioner, yours is going to end a lot quicker. He is adamant that his nails is always black, but if you pout long enough, and it’s the weekend, you can choose any color you want. By sunday he will be removing and asking for his black back.

Suguru and yours relationship is the one where he does anything for you, he enable your tastes, folds backwards if you ask. This man has no one else he loves more dearly. Sure, he can be a lot from time to time, but you wouldn’t have any other way, and neither does he.

He might be one of the kinder Companions of Jorrvaskr but he sure isn't gonna take hate from people who are rude towards you. His strong stature is enough to scare a man.

Vilkas through the years never thought he'd be in a relationship, especially being in one with another man.

When he first met you, he wondered why his heart started pounding but he brushed it off and continued his day.

He was hesitent at first but he grew to love being with you. He wouldn't trade being with you for anything. Even if he won't say it out loud.

Unlike his brother, he isn't into PDA as much but in private or inside Jorrvaskr. he always has his arms around you.

Scout-many-marshes

He loves having a partner to share life with no matter their gender. You being a man doesn't change that. He's just happy to have someone in his life.

This scaly man loves PDA and anything to showing affection. He loves just holding your hand or leaning in your touch. In private, he is very gentle and loving. He loves just tracing patterns over your skin with his thumbs.

He boasts about his spouse that is the infamous Dragonborn. He feels lucky that he gets to return to you after a long day of work.

I think it’s reasonable why some Ayato stans can’t stand Yui given that she doesn’t always treat him in the fairest way either. I’m not condoning how he acted in haunted dark bridal, they were pretty much all assholes and Yui really deserved much better than that but what bothers me is the way she started being written strictly in his routes after the first game.

Before developing my point of view, I want to mention that I did read all his routes and I will intelligibly write down why I don’t have the most positive opinion about Yui there. In more blood, she notices something changed about him. The whole route was about her crying for his love despite the fact that she did nothing other than give him blood. She knew he was struggling, but instead of trying to understand and comfort him, she only cared about her own feelings being reciprocated. There can’t be love when there’s no communication and the fence scene only proved that what she felt for him was mere obsession. He said it in an unserious way but she literally was on the verge of falling down and Ayato was shocked as she did that too. The only reason why I think he expressed his feelings after is cuz he was too afraid of how crazy about him she was to the point that she’d rather end it all than not get his love. I gotta admit that she redeemed herself in the vampire ending, I felt love there but route based she wasn’t shining.

He is seen sacrificing himself for her a lot of times, getting attacked by the wolves, jumping in flames for her, saving her from a bomb explosion, studying for her, getting into university for her, wanting to buy a house just for her, defending her from everyone that says anything negative about her wether that’s a random person or any of his brothers, mother or father.

Then we have Yui that does nothing for him in return. I better not hear ‘She is kind and cooks for him!’ because that doesn’t even come close to all the things he did for her well-being. Don’t get me started on how she tries making him face his abuser in Dark Fate and never defends him when he’s being slandered in front of others, even when they are in the wrong and harming her man. I saw some potential in her in lost eden but I took it back after she started taking such stupid decisions that only made Ayato feel even more guilty and sad rather than actually helping him. I can say the same about chaos lineage. She let his brothers make him feel like trash again, despite feeling bad for him in her thoughts, and only went to comfort him when he was starting to get depressed. Personally I would much rather prefer someone taking my side in front of others than putting honey around me in private. I swear this girl always talks but decides being quiet when she has to use her voice the most *face palm*

That is so ironic because she always expects him to save her ass and protect her all the time when she gets into troubles. At this point you should take a shot everytime Yui says ‘I know Ayato will save me. I know Ayato will protect me.’

Their relationship is not equal and will never be. You guys just like throwing the word ‘healthy’ only when the man loves the woman more but when it’s the other way around, then it’s seen as ‘toxic’.

I do think Yui is worthy of love but she’d fit better with someone that wouldn’t go to great lengths for her 24/7. Ayato is way too passionate and honestly he deserves someone more supportive and useful than her.

I've discussed this question with several of my friends, and while I generally agree with part of what you said, there are a few points I'd want to clarify.

Yui's actions in MB were essential to the plot of the route. When falling in love for the first time, I think a lot of teenage girls would behave similarly to her . She also acknowledged being selfish in the second last chapter, and it showed character growth when she came to terms with it and began to accept Ayato for who he is, flaws and all. I get that it's not particularly enjoyable to witness someone cry for almost the entire route, but she learnt something valuable from it, therefore I no longer see a problem. It was also confirmed in a book that Ayato was in love with her from the start. He was just confused and didn’t know how to properly explain his feelings due to the curse and trauma, therefore it’s not like he started dating her out of pity or anything like that. I developed this better here, feel free to read it if you want.

I would never consider her a bad girlfriend though. Even if she occasionally doesn't take everything as seriously as she’s supposed to, I believe she is doing her best. Yui isn't the type of person to take advantage of someone else's selflessness, and I have no doubt that she is very grateful of everything Ayato does for her.

Ayato is a bit more involved in the relationship but I don’t think he minds that…? I assume Yui's happiness is enough for him because he never complained about that matter. She still gives him blood, shows him affection and makes him laugh, even when it's not her aim to do so. It’s probably not the best comparison, since he’s putting his life in danger for her, but it’s still something.

Regarding the —not defending— part, I have witnessed several fans express the same displeasure, although I can't recall the specific situations they were referring to. Anyway, yeah, I kinda agree with that because everyone is capable of defending their S/O, so I'm not sure why they nerfed Yui on that.

It could also be the fact that Ayato is always shown as being really strong, therefore Yui probably doesn’t think he is THAT affected by those words. We don’t even know if she is very aware of how his brothers and family treated him in the past. For the players or readers, it makes sense why he gets insecure and feels threatened by their words or lashes out at them, but for someone who is unaware of the truth, it's a different story entirely.

On top of that, Ayato is the main hero. The heroine can shine in other routes but the main hero is the one who needs to show in his own one why he was chosen for the main hero position.

I wouldn’t say she’s not useful or supportive enough, she’s just softer in his routes, which I believe makes more sense to her character. Compared to other routes, she has it quite easy in his ones (except for the bad endings where they’re either both problematic or have to suffer), so I can see why Yui is more bubbly and carefree there. Besides, they both seem to be into the traditional relationship roles.

On a meta level: Feferi and Tavros are two characters that are both very likable and sympathetic but don’t get as much attention from the narrative or fandom as much as they should. Feferi is hardly fleshed out despite the interesting angle her character comes from, and tavros is mainly a punching bag for the narrative that gets beaten down by hussies iron boot whenever he tries to stand up (metaphorically) They both have a lot of room for exploration that I’m very disappointed didn’t get filled out, and I think these gap in their characters can be filled out with eachother.

Feferi is a good person, raised into a high position, in a bad society. One of feferis main goals in her life was to become empress and make things better for a people that have been subjugated to cruel punishment for ages and to fix a system that has been broken for a LONG time. Feferi is a kindhearted person that isn’t naive, but hopeful to an extent that she’s blind to the fact some problems can’t be fixed with a simple change in the definition of culling. She’s also a person that both narratively and functionally get sidelined by the men in her life. She’s a kickass Princess that’s going to rule alternia someday, but is instead of that focus she’s reduced to being the damsel in distress to be fought over by both eridan and sollux. A conflict in which she’s supposed to mediate even though she never wanted it in the first place. Her time to shine is taken up by boys fighting over a girl crush which is just a SHAME to see, even dying for a conflict she had no agency in. An empathetic and capable person with one of the most optimistic outlooks in homestuck unable to reach her full potential because of the “more important” men in her life. From a toxic friendship to becoming the damsel in distress with no agency, her capability as a character is erased in the face of loss of potential.

Tavros is a person that is naive but not of his own fault. he’s a teen that likes interests that are more stereotypically childlike and gets picked on for it, he’s disabled and lower class which means his life is worth less in the eyes of the society that rules over the lives of the trolls on alternia, he’s also someone that’s been abused and manipulated by a person in his life he was close to, who installed unhealthy views of himself and his purpose into tavros. He’s a person that’s been told his whole life that he was unimportant, worthless, and weak; wether that be by society or his peers. He’s also a character that does not get to be happy, most of the relationships he has are either unhealthy, tragically undeveloped, or one’s he’s slightly forced into due to circumstances he has no control of. He goes through loads of physical and mental trauma and is never allowed a break to heal or process. He’s has never gotten a chance to truly been valued by someone because his life is like a nonstop dhar man video where the kid gets picked on for unfair reasons except the bullies never get any sort of satisfying comeuppance.

He’s also optimistic but in a far different way than Feferi. She’s optimistic because she has the ability to make a change and knows it, she’s been raised semi-comfortably and, though definitely has responsibilities, has hope for a brighter future because she has to power to make that better future. Feferi is optimistic because she has the ability to chance the circumstances. Tavros is optimistic DESPITE the circumstances, he’s had it rough his whole life, but stays positive and trusting and kind regardless, still trying his best even though things NEVER end well for them. Feferi wants to change life for low bloods but Tavros has LIVED it, which is why… (finally getting to the point)

they compliment eachother perfectly, giving eachother the thing they didn’t have in their lives. Tavros grounds feferi, he has personal experience and can speak for the people she’s trying to protect, giving her a look into the lives of those she wants to help and letting her see them on a personal level; while Feferi shows tavros that he has value and can be loved the way he is. Her endless kindness and patience for the people in her life giving a him a chance to be cared for, plus proving that he has worth. I mean, if this badass high blood Princess cares about him and have faith in him, he must mean something! Tavros is also not demanding or controlling, he doesn’t feel entitled to feferi. he doesn’t see her as a damsel; he sees her as a capable, kind, and flawed person that is more like him than he could ever have imagined. For once feferi is the one kicking ass and tavros is the one to support and ground her. feferi recognize and helps tavros heal from the unhealthy relationships he’s been in because of her experience with eridan, and tavros humanizes (trollinizes?) lowerbloods and grounds her in reality to make sure her hopeful ideals for the future are still realistic and helpful for EVERYONE. I imagine Feferi felt immense guilt after tavros died, wondering if she could’ve saved him somehow, while tavros felt like he didn’t deserve being saved.

They’re also incredibly similar, animal lovers who see the best in everyone around them, people who would enthuse about eachothers intrests and wonder at the different worlds the other brought them into. They’d be super sweet and fluffy, wear matching outfits, giggle about animals and marvel at the others talents no matter if it was slaying monsters or being good at a niche card game. They would make eachother the best versions of themselves. They could make eachother happy in a world that has made it INCREDIBLY hard for that to happen. I also feel if this had happened in canon, we’d be able to see sides of these two we weren’t able to before (Aka feferi importance and tavros joy)

Celebrities are not fictional characters. Their lives aren’t like your favorite movie couple solely existing when they’re seen by the media. They have lives that probably look similar to your own.

So glad you asked. Last night I got an ask that essentially said “Z is back in London because she liked a post a 4:30am London time”. Ignoring the fact that if she was back in LA it would be fine. I want to talk about how in only her apparently being awake at 4:30 seems unfathomable. I’m pretty sure everyone on this godforsaken dumpster fire of an app has been on here at 3/4/5 in the morning. Whether that’s from waking up in the middle of the night or just staying up late, we know it’s not an impossibility that people would be awake on social media in the middle of the night. Hell I’m constantly on here at 4/5 am. It doesn’t indicate a time zone jump. But also if she was in LA who cares. That changes nothing about their relationship no matter how much some of you hope it will. But again what makes Z do special that being up at 4:30 is a shocking act?

Now I also want to point out the “he’s golfing where is she” “he’s golfing clearly she left” “he left her alone to go hang out with his friends” asks that popped up. They are in a romantic relationship but it is not the only personal relationship they have. It is healthy to still have friends. It is healthy to have time by yourself. They don’t need to, and shouldn’t, spend 24 hours a day together. I don’t know a single couple, and let’s be real neither do you, that spends every moment of free time together. You know why? Because that would be unhealthy. Him going on a guys trip is healthy and also great for him. It’s amazing to see people especially men nourishing their friendships in adulthood. But also even without a big trip doing things alone isn’t weird or indicative of your relationship health. You know what I love to do? Go to target by myself and just roam the aisles. Does that mean I’d rather be at target than with my family? Nope. It means I enjoy time to myself and drinking coffee while leaning on a cart. If we see one out shopping while they’re in the same city it is not inherently a negative thing. It’s just normal human behavior.

So next time you decide this is weird maybe analyze that thought a little more and see if you’d think it was bad if any other person/couple you know did it.

And I get that the people who actually need to hear this will probably ignore it, but just in case you don’t, I want you to reevaluate how you view relationships and think about wether or not you’re setting up an unhealthy mindset when it comes to relationships. Like forget the TZness of it all. These asks clearly show a lack of knowledge of healthy interpersonal relationships, (familial, platonic, and romantic). And I want better for you.

This is my Tron OC Psyche and I have many nicknames for her. Like Trons little freak, whore, giant Axe Lady and userfucker

In all seriousness I do ship her with Flynn because why not but also my sick brain thought " would it be funny if Sam got adopted by a program. Then my sick brain also thought it would be hilarious if the program that Clu got a crush on found out that she thinks that he's user was hotter. ( One sided love triangle with out misunderstanding but it more like a love angle she only thinks of Clu as a friend before the betrayal)

Anyways... Her name is psyche people call her cy for short. I haven't thought of to much of her backstory and I can't decide of what's happens to her after betrayal. But what I have so far is that her ISO boyfriend died in a light cycle accident making her deadly afraid of light cycles. after some time after the accident Tron found her in a fight and was like " I want this freak." And he then recruited her for his police Force.

She has a Bobby personality. She the type of woman that knows she looks good and knows how to weapons it. Cy is always willing to listen to any person problems and would try to give advice if wanted. if cy likes you or see you as family she would go out of her way for you and if someone hurt her family all hell break loose. ( Aka her inner momma bear kicks in)

Psyche mine role in Tron police Force was to infiltrated and gather Intel of their targets.

As for her abilities she is a master of disguise and can change her appearance on a whim. Psyche also can also transform her identity disk to an axe thanks to her special staff that she made. sence she as afraid of light cycles and refuse to go on one. She likes to travel by skates ( think of them like ice skates )

I haven't quite figured out the relationship between Psyche and Clu. Maybe Clu like a woman who knows how to manipulate. An other idea is have it parasocial and have Clu have the idea psyche is like his Jordan to his Flynn. Though it probably me over analyzing Clus character in it to. .. (I'm happy to hear any ideas or constructive criticism on this front) I joke I thought of that psyche is oblivious to obvious flirting, even though she's a master of seduction.

Her relationship with Flynn on the other hand I have thought of. So the idea I have is when Clu is tired of Flynn escaping his bodyguard when he's on the grid. Tron gets the bright idea to have Psyche guard him. He somehow convinced Clu of this telling him that she would only do it if Tron is to busy to do it himself.

Flynn was standoffish to her at first, inciting that he is more than capable of defending himself. But it does develop into a friendship. Expecly when she is willing to explore the grid with him outside of her work uniform. As that friendship grows Flynn tells Psyche about what the user world and Psyche shows Flynn all the nookes and cranes of the grid that she knows. They also start to open up to each other.

When Flynn shows psyche a picture of Sam she thought he was the cutest thing she ever seen. She them vowes that she would to anything in her power to make sure that that little guy is happy. For example when she finds out that it's an important day in the user world ( wether holidays or birthdays) psyche would drag Flynn by the ear to the portal. The idea of children makes her a little jealous of users. In her interpretation it's like having a piece of your lover even if their gone.

They do eventually grow felling for each other. Flynn question his sanity when he realized his feelings. The idea of dating again also terrifieds him, he doesn't know if Sam would take him dating someone. Minis the fact that he doesn't know it possible to date a problem. Psychic Also kinda has the same reaction but in a lesser extent. She makes the concussion that it's not possible and love him from afar... ( I made them doom by the narrative. Yes I do thank Batman mask of the Phantasm is a masterpiece how did you know? )

I don't know were to put this but in my head Tron and Dyson have a bet, if Psychic ends up with Flynn or Clu. Tron is betting on Flynn because he wants his friend to be happy, but he also finds Flynn freaking over psychic hilarious. Dyson is betting on Clu because 1. He doesn't think that Flynn has a chance and 2. It's entertaining as heck.

That all I could think about her so far. I haven't really thought of what happened to her after betrayal. I made a joke that she got isekaied to the past or isekaied and became a magical girl (⁠ʘ⁠ᴗ⁠ʘ⁠✿⁠) I mostly made her to be feminine and girly as fuck and have a giant axe.

I never understood why people ship Francour and Lucille like I get it's based on Phantom of the Opera and they have kind of a Beauty and the Beast thing going on but oh my god... HE'S A FUCKING FLEA! I also don't get how people interpret the movie as romantic when they're clearly supposed to be friends, I even saw someone who thought the movie promoted beastiality because they thought Francour and Lucille were supposed to be in a relationship which is so funny to me and there were so many people trying to explain that they were not.

I have also seen people disappointed that she ended up with Raoul at the end instead of the flea which is so fucking funny like I get Raoul is kind of pathetic and I understand why people would be disappointed that she just ends up with the conventional human guy in the end instead of the beast but he's a fucking flea and the fact people were upset they didn't end up together is so funny.

I also liked your comparison on whether or not it would be ethical for her to fuck the monkey for the same reasons as Francour but I misread it and thought you were saying wether it would be ethical for Francour to fuck the monkey for the same reasons and that made me piss myself laughing though honestly him ending up with the monkey would probably make more logical sense.

I don't see it as based on Beauty and the Beast but YES, FRIENDS ALL THE WAY, Francoeur is meant to be a normal flea who just happened to grow and be able to sing (and only sing, not speak !), even more jarring when he becomes small again, she is happy not because her lover is alive but because her new animal friend she found cute and smart and wants to keep like a pet with extra steps is alive and safe ! I understand the frustration that she ends up with Raoul because it does feel very forced and no matter what the scenario says they have 0 chemistry together, they just happen to have been forever in love out of nowhere, but I do not ship Lucille with the monster either this time. She ends up with nobody to me, Francoeur is a pet/best friend and Raoul and her try but it lasts only a few weeks and they break up because they just can't stand each other despite their life-long infatuition

I do not lile the Bee Movie, but funnily, as weird as it is, I do not unsee a romance, because in that movie bees are actually not "normal", they all dress up and speak and have a civilisation, so it's just essentially dating a furry. Francoeur is a normal flea, it's not a furry even when he can sing and grows

Prompt: You and Sebastian broke up following the events of 5th year. Now it is 7th year, you and Ominis are together and all seems well… until you and Sebastian are casted as lovers in a play.

You trudged back to your room after parting ways with Sebastian. You couldn’t decide wether or not to cry or be enraged. You changed you clothes and washed your face, heart broken but also on fire with anger. All of this time, two years, he spent lying to your face while also drastically improving your life. On one hand, he was loving, supportive, gentle, pulled you out of the dark arts and pushed you to open your mind up to allowing your new best friends to be in your life. But…he also sabotaged your relationship with Sebastian, blackmailed his best friend, lied to you consistently with what seemed to be no intentions of ever fessing up. In that instant, you decided anger would be the dominating force over your heart. You were not a chess piece in his little game that he could move around and control.

Mundane tasks like brushing your teeth and changing your clothes turning into throwing your toothbrush and ripping the clothes off of you, causing small tears and stretching at the seams. It dawned on you how Ominis thought he was the victim..How the hell does that even work!? How is he going to be upset when you truly didn’t do anything. You didnt choose to kiss Sebastian, you didn’t choose him as your lead, and you did everything you could to reassure Ominis that everything was okay and fine. Matter of fact, you didnt even choose to spend last night with Sebastian. You always chose Ominis, and realizing that rubbed salt in your wound. He couldn’t even trust you when all signs pointed to him.

At this point you were seething with anger, determined to talk with Ominis today no matter what the circumstances were. You were impatient when it came to conflicts, so even if you were unsure of your exact route of attack, you knew today was the day that atleast something would happen. You grabbed your bag and stormed out of your room.

Sebastian on the other hand, opted to skip class that day. Sallow, unlike you, wanted to approach this carefully. He felt as though he had more to lose than you. If Ominis and you fell apart, he would be right there for you in an instant. However, if he fucked up, he could lose you and the life he had rebuilt for himself. However, even though he needed to plot his next moves, that being dealing with Octavia and Ominis, he couldn’t help but let his mind wander to the time you two had spent together last night. It was imperfectly perfect, and he had only gotten a taste of what could be…anything amount of relationship with you was worth whatever he needed to do.

You walked out into the common room, scanning the room for literally anybody of significance. Ominis was nowhere to be found, but that made sense because you were running insanely late. In fact, most of the common room was emptied out aside from a few clusters of people.

“How could he do that?! Not mention he’s ‘acting’ with that bitch he used to shag!?” You heard a somewhat familiar voice. Your eyes darted to the corner of the room and saw the one and only Octavia. She was clearly heated, and truthfully you couldnt blame her. Sebastian kind of messed up with her, but it boiled down to the fact that Ominis was the real root of everyone’s problem. Had he not meticulously interfered, maybe Octavia wouldn’t have even met Sebastian. The silence that followed her statement enticed her to look around, and then meet eyes with the one and only. Her face immediately went red, and she looked down. The murmurs from across the room hushed, but she was the last the last of your problems. Sebastian can handle that one..

You left the room, going off to your classes. Octavia clearly had not held back on her wrath against you and your ex boyfriend, it felt as though everyone’s eyes followed you through the halls, and you could hear hushed voices mention what sounded like either Seb, Om, Oct, or MC. Whatever, Merlin forbid somebody try crossing you, you’d handle them with no problem. Regardless, you knew Ominis heard the whispers as well, especially with his heightened senses to make up for his eyesight.

You went through your classes, deciding that your last period class with Ominis would be your perfect opportunity to snag him. You entered the class just a second before you were considered late, your whole day had consisted of running late…which could be blamed entirely on the night before. Your mind was anywhere but present while attending your classes. Because of your late arrival, your usual seat next to Ominis was already taken. Blessing in disguise. The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Once the bell rang, Ominis practically darted out of the classroom. Without thinking, you quickened your steps and shouted ,

“Ominis Gaunt!��� While grabbing onto his arm to keep him from running. He turned to face you, an uneasy expression on his face.

“MC… I—“ He started, unsure of what to even say. “We need to talk.” You interrupted sternly. Ominis couldnt tell what you would possibly need to talk about. His heart dropped, nervous of what you could want. He was naturally more on the anxious side anyway, and he desperately hoped you just wanted to talk things out…however you never held this tone with him. He looked up at you, wishing just once he could read your expression. Your hand never left his arm as you started leading him away into an abandoned dead end corridor. He savored your touch, unsure if this would be the last time he’d ever be escorted by you. His heart ached at the thought, taking deep breaths to try and calm himself down. He was probably overreacting again and all would be okay…right..?

You stopped inside the corridor, sure that nobody followed you and would not be able to hear you. “You weren’t at the library.” You started, letting your instincts take over because you hadn’t really planned this part out. Your heartbeat started quickening, nerves kicking in.

“Dove, i know— I’m so sorry, I just didn’t know what to say..” He replied, looking down and fidgeting with his fingers, “I…I overreacted, I know.. I just.. MC, I’m so sorry…” he continued, desperate for you to say it was all okay.

“So, I wandered the castle and ended up alone in the Astronomy Tower. I was just as heartbroken and worried as you.. I had nobody. But then, Sebastian showed up..” You started, your tone somber and not as harsh.

“Fuck….” He whispered under his breath, you didn’t even hear it with how quiet it was. For Ominis to say muggle words, you knew it was bad. Tears glossed over his milky eyes, he knew what was coming.

“Ominis…you wanted us to break up, you kept him away from me, blackmailed your best friend, and then continued to lie to me for two years…” You sighed, you voice cracking at the very end. It didnt take long for the tears to start pouring out from your eyes. Ominis took a shaky breath, pulling you into himself for a tight embrace. You were both hurting, it wasnt a secret.

“MC..I— I know… MC he didn’t deserve you..I saw that. I loved you long before he started pursuing you.. I couldnt let you destroy yourself.. He couldn’t have you. Dove, I love you” He cried, praying to Merlin you would see his intentions and understand.

“I…. I am not an object Ominis! I am not anyone’s to have!” You broke, pushing yourself away from him even though deep down that was the last thing you wanted to do. You wiped y..our tears, looking up at the boy who was crumbling right in front of you.

“I— I know! MC, you dont get it!” He pleaded, trying to reach out for your hand but was left empty.

“Ominis YOU dont get it! Everything is fake! I thought we fell in love together, not because of some grand scheme of yours that you had from the start! You made decisions for me that I didn’t even know I had control of! You lied! I cannot decipher what was real between us and what you planne d!” You shouted back, becoming overwhelmed.

“Stop talking like this! It was real! I never wanted to hurt you, you know that!” He shouted back. You were both crying, shouting at each other and heartbroken. Silence fell between you, unsure of what was left to be said except for the obvious.

“I chose you every time Ominis. No matter what. I feel so betrayed… I dont even know what to do… but I feel as though we should take a break..” You broke the silence.

“I understand.” He sighed, his head down and avoiding your gaze at all costs. “I love you MC, that has not changed.” His heart was no longer shattered, it had been ripped from his chest and shredded onto the floor.

“I know Omi..” You replied, reaching for his hand to give a reassuring squeeze. You turned your back, leaving him alone in the corridor as you both burst into tears separately.

Your night went on agonizingly slow. You heart was heavy, you felt nauseous, and you definitely couldn’t sleep it off. You rolled out of bed, deciding you needed to take a walk and get some fresh air. You found yourself again in the Astronomy tower, exhausted but enjoying the peace and quiet. Secretly, you hoped a certain someone would also manage to find his way up here, but it was extremely unlikely. You brought your script up with you to try and get your mind off things..your performance was only a few days away now, and you were determined to not give up despite your circumstances. You heard the door open and you quickly snapped to look behind you, nervous you’d be getting caught past curfew.

A man emerged behind the door with curly brown hair and emerald green eyes. Sebastian.. he came. You offered a small smile, moving over slightly to make room for the man.

“I’m sorry…if you want me to leave I totally can..I promise its not—“ He started, but you shook your head and patted the spot next to you,

“No…sit, please” You said softly. He nodded, not needing any more confirmation before taking the seat next to you. He could tell you were upset, so he dropped his usual cocky attitude in favor for a comforting one.

“Why’d you come up here?” You asked, leaning your head on his shoulder. You were so tired, and this felt so natural.

“Well.. Octavia and I broke up..and I thought maybe you’d return up here tonight? I thought it was far fetched but apparently not..” he smiled down at you, his heartbeat quickening at your touch. He had to manually relax his body, noticing how stiff he had gotten.

“I’m sorry to hear.. but I’m pretty much in the same boat” You smiled sadly, looking up at the stars. He fought back a smile that was creeping up on him, and instead opting to squeeze your hand. Although he was sad to see you so upset..things were looking up for him, and he knew it was wrong of him to feel that way. But, if you and Ominis were to get back together tomorrow, he would not oppose it and only encourage you to do what makes you happy.

“Funny how it’s twice now that we’re up here with the same problems..” He said after a moment of silence. It was getting late, and you hadn’t slept for over 24 hours at this point. He noticed your silence and looked down to see you sound asleep on his shoulder with his hand still covering yours. Warmth spread over his entire body as he readjusted slightly, careful to make sure you didn’t wake up and were still comfortable. Of course you were sleepy, the past few days have been nothing but an emotional roller coaster for everyone involved. You were slowly coming back to him, and this small gesture meant the world to him.

“Sweet dreams MC..” He whispered softly before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. He soon ended up drifting off as well, his head leaning on top of yours…

Hey! Sorry to bother you but I was wondering: do you have any headcannons about how the main characters (ie, Ryo, Ren, Shenhua, Joy, maybe even Guizhang and Xiuying) would interact with one another? I've been thinking about it pretty consistently recently, especially when it comes to what direction Shenmue 4 might take. I'm really hopeful that when(/if) we get the next Shenmue, the story will advance a lot more and I'm really hoping that means we'll get the return of more characters! Anyways, I'd love to hear your thoughts if you have time :))

ryo & shenhua: I think this is the most perfect and stable relationship in the entirety of shenmue. No ass whooping, no bickering, just wholesomeness ^_^. So this is making me think that their relationship would only get better in s4 and even more exciting cause I believe the truth about shenhua's "superpowers" (and possibly ryo's) would be revealed in s4 so I'm imagining all the interesting interactions that would happen between them🥶🥶🥶

ryo & ren: shipping aside, their relationship is pretty unstable imo and they usually don't have any deep conversations aside from discussing how they will get revenge/treasure , so I'm not sure how they would interact in s4, but I'm sure they'd still be somewhat hostile towards each other at the beginning (though less hostile because I think that they'd start to realize they had a lot of strong bro moments together, especially when ren saved ryo from getting killed by Lan di), ren would continue being protective of ryo anyways because that's something he's shown in the previous games. wether or not they'd become besties near the end of the game is something that I cannot tell because I found them to be unnecessarily mean to each other in 3 :((((((( but I HOPE that ren wouldn't betray ryo like many people are saying </3 (even though it makes perfect sense)

ryo & xiuying: basically the same treatment as in s2, because I think that for ryo to change his attitude towards xiuying he needs to understand that she's right abt revenge being a terrible idea, which is not the case because in s3 it's shown that he's still determined to get it 🙄🙄🙄🙄, she'd probably give up on convincing him and decide to train him to fight Lan di instead

ryo & guizhang: simply put, I headcanon that their relationship would be really cute✨✨. I personally feel like gui treats ryo like his lil bro, so I think he'd do brotherly stuff like giving him advice, teaching him moves, protecting him, etc. since guizhang is the oldest and strongest (?, physically at least), I expect the gang (ryo, shenhua, ren) to consider him their leader. as for wether or not he'd make a comeback, I don't see why he wouldn't??? I think a lot of in game time has passed so his leg should be fine....and considering the fact that he travels a lot between China and Japan, he might want to check up on what ryo has been doing.

ren & guizhang: i already headcanon that these two know each other, as they are both friends with joy and even if they haven't met, ren is pretty notorious in HK...same thing goes for gui and I know for a fact that both of them would be SHOCKED when they find out that ryo was/is involved with either of them because of their dangerous criminal activity. as I said before, the gang (mostly shenhua and ryo) might treat guizhang as their leader but since ren would also want to be the leader, this might make him clash with guizhang a lot, and then compete with him for the title, starting some hilarious drama.

ren & shenhua: shenhua would probably try to get to know ren, but ren would shut her off just like he does with ryo :(((. i dont think they'd argue a lot cause shenhua is very peaceful so she really isn't the type of to argue with anyone but she might just avoid interacting with him.... OR make him open up using her powers (just like how she did with that thug in the village), because she'd realize that he's not inherently a bad person (at least I think so) so she would try to "fix him"???? Idk lol. wish they interacted more in 3 :(((((

Is it weird that I want a lover that’s obsessive and possessive? Yes I was emotionally neglected as a child and since then I’ve always felt in any relationship wether romantic or platonic that I was also the one to “love more”. I know I have issues.

is it possible you perceive obsessiveness and possessiveness as signals someone 'genuinely cares'? sometimes the measures people go to when theyre fixated on you/controlling/abusive can seem like a privilege, especially to someone whos been neglected before, cause it feels like someone 'actually' cares and is willing to show up time after time to 'work things out'. the fact they can get so mentally/emotionally wound up over situations becomes easy to justify by thinking 'oo they must rly care', rather than seeing its their lack of control over you thats bruising their ego. [& as people looking for care/love/a bond with someone usually have blueprint of love that aligns with having been uncared for, its very possible to be with, and justify being with, someone who is uncaring but who 'cares deep down/in their own way']

if your happy with dating the kinds of people you date for the reasons you date them, thats cool and you should do that. but if you want to do things differently, imo you have to ask yourself what love (giving, receiving, being surrounded by it) feels like to you, and what it means to you. what do you associate with love. what does the love you give look like versus the love you receive. how do you feel about the differences between the two and what do you want to experience instead. then whatever it is you want to experience, give to yourself. < somewhere along that part is where things begin to change. when you know what love feels like cause you give it to yourself, you'll recognise when your getting it from others. when you know what its like to love others without transaction or need for them to do anything in return, youll also realise how deserving you are of that love or care without needing to do anything at all but be yourself. <3

Bio: While a little naughty, Yarrow has the charm to make you believe he is innocent. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Yarrow was born to a Black mother and Japanese father as the first child. All through his childhood he felt like he was in his father’s shadow . As he was a well known thief and was able to get what he wanted. However, his father wasn’t a good person as he was selfish and strict. Unfortunately, a heist gone wrong left his father incarcerated for the rest of his life without parole.

Yarrow’s mother wanted a fresh start so his name was changed as long as his sister’s. He has to help take of the small family until his mom met Scott Vine. Yarrow also cares for his mom, wether it’s to help groceries from the store or practice spiritual exercises with her. Yarrow has a nice relationship with Scott and even considers him to be a second dad. But, some urge just made Yarrow want to please his biological father. That’s when he decided to become a thief himself!

Thieving started petty, some Snicker bars here, a couple of cheap toys there. Yarrow would barely get caught and found out he was just as good as his father. In school, he was able to convince a kid named Rye perform “heists” with him. Once Rye started to catch on, he enjoyed the thrill of it all. The two eventually became a duo of thieves. Eventually meeting Eris, Ansel, and others along the way.

As time went on, Yarrow began to suspect something when he eyed the boys in his school as well as the girls. One boy caught his attention, Myrtle Flowers, and the two dated but the relationship didn’t go well. Despite this, he felt ok with this sexuality and told his family, who were all very supportive! He doesn’t think he is the marriage type and kids are DEFINITELY OUT OF THE QUESTION!!!

Yarrow doesn’t consider himself religious and doesn’t know or care about an afterlife but would just go to a church to be there whenever his sister had a event. He wouldn’t steal from a church though. He does sometimes practice Wiccan with his mom and has a set of tarot cards for fun.

Yarrow loves his little sister, Erica, and would do anything for her! Even beat up rich boy bullies! Yarrow tries hard to make sure her and Scott don’t know what he really does behind the scenes. Of course, it’s hard with occasional, unexpected visits!

Yarrow is a free spirit who likes to live dangerously hoping to become the greatest thief of all time. After the events of Monaco, Yarrow’s phone rang, a call from a maximum security prison. He heard the words the caller said very clearly:
