there are 3 main issues with jikook, right? being celebrities, being same sex, and jungkook's immaturity. they all kind of play into each other.

jimin being a girl would automatically solve 2 of those, but let's say it only solves one and jikook are still in an immensely successful co-ed group together. I still think the fact that they're hetero would prevail and they would feel much more emboldened to go through with whatever illicit affair strikes their fancy. worst case scenario, the media has a field day but also its kind of to be expected. worst case scenario as-is? I don't even wanna say it in a joking manner. if hetero, jungkook would still be immature and probably toxic and weaponizedly incompetent or whatever these tiktok boomers be saying but he would NOT feel the internalized homophobia be does now and he would not take it out on jimin. so that's an immediate win. and jimin's already self sacrificial womanly tendencies would be tripled so he'd be happy to bear it. that all being said fuck gender essentialism fuck terf trans rights etc
