But it isn’t equal machinery! the gp22s were absolutely outdeveloped by the gp23s by the end of the season last year (that’s a big reason for why most of the gp22 wins came at the beginning of the season, plus the temperamental nature of the gp23 in general) and it’s a well established fact that independent teams DONT win championships. If martin wins (again I dontttt want him to win), he’ll be the first independent team rider to win the championship. And it will be done without all the extra factory support (pramac gets ONE official ducati engineer i believe) that pecco has… I do think pecco is a wonderful rider who is so good (if not the best!!!) at extracting technical perfection, but I can see why people might be less inclined to give him his flowers when he’s on the most dominant racing bike of all time with full factory support and he still might not be able to bring it home… idk I’m not trying to argue, and I don’t think you’re rude I’m maybe just trying to work out some of my own feelings… I really hope he does pull it out I’m just maybe less confident that he CAN

Exept martin enea frnaky joan etc did have the same machinery as him.... even last season when martin was fighting tooe to toe he got the same deveelops as pecco this year so far right now is benn the same so he has and has have 4 riders whit the same machinery ...

And yes is true the last year bike are not at the same level as the new one but they alwyas estarte exp for the 23 th even last year was a problemtic bike and pecco alredy say very few rider of ducati were gona be able to adapt cause of who complicated lt was and hence why only him and martin really god a good hand on the d23 ...but the 22 21 were really god bikes tha got ten-mc suport from ducati and tha in the beginning were able to aut perfom the facotyd ducatis...in the part i agre whit you is the problems pecco has on his perfomence the random mistake, dnf the someties he would play safe and tha at time cost him point like what happen a lemans or sprints where he could have continue the race but decide to retire , the times he get to agrevive whit random rider etc we agre and I dont say pecco is a perfect rider he is not even close to be the best rider on th all time list and has problems of inconsistent or he falls under presure but when he is looks in thers really not other ducati rider or on the grid at his level (expet obvs marc )hence why he has the stast he has ;)
