SEASON 1:

really you just need the first two episodes and then owner i-iv. the rest is flavor text. jenny range HIGHLY encouraged but not needed. also noreen highly recommended but not needed for trespasses.

SEASON 2:

burger baby and cracker man are the only episodes that matter, emotionally. we love burger baby and cracker man. but they are flavor text. really just skip to echo box and then return.

SEASON 3:

look man i'm gonna be straight with you this whole season is the most "plot" it gets. if you really want to run it you should do "a guest checks in" and then jump to avoid and finish the season from there.

SEASON 4:

the only "plot" is the owner v, x-x, and judy blashy. the rest you can skip. i rec carl larpe because madam is there and so is the manager. GIRL'S NIGHT [explodes into gore]

SEASON 5:

again, this is plot-heavy but you can skip down to we are watching and listen through to The Auditor and then skip until you get to the NYE double whammy of it's new year's eve + reaper's envy.

And then you should be current! Feel free to roam through the episodes. As I understand it the Bonus episodes like "The Pets" are more soft-canon goofs than Plot Required Episodes. Also Trespasses is soft-canon? I think? But it's tasty.

2. Baking a birthday cake with Sanji! initially, he was going to have it be a surprise, but after catching him, we both worked on it together. (More platonic leaning vibes, he'd be such a nice friendo)

3. Shanks accidentally starting a citywide party in celebration of my birthday (he gets excited at the thought of a party), but ends up leading me off to just spend time alone on some isolated hilltop. It's a very peaceful evening shared between us.

Synopsis: Mihawk is not as well groomed as he usually keeps himself. You notice, and you can't help yourself.

Themes: Mihawk x f!reader, established relationship, suggestive content, Mihawk is unkept, husband x wife, domesticity.

Mihawk, arching his brow as perplexion dawns on his face as you lower yourself to the ground beside his thighs. Leaning back on the chair, unlacing his knee from its position atop the other, he raises his wineglass to his lips. Eyes never leaving yours, he watches as you eagerly crawl between his knees and place your hands splayed atop both of his muscular and lanky legs.

"My dear," he utters when releasing the lip of the wine glass from his open mouth, tongue darting out to collect the spillover from his bottom lip, "Just what do you think you are doing?"

You hum gently, moving your thumbs on soothing circles to the apex of his lowered hemline. Adonis belt on full view, you gently caress your digits over the short patch of silky, dark locks and shudder in delight at the sensation.

"You're not as groomed as you usually keep yourself, my darling," you note, gently flicking over the follicles, "I am not complaining."

Mihawk shuddered away from your touch, the ministrations tickling at his abdomen causing a slight twitch to his lips and a smile reserved only for you in its wake.

"Oh, really?" he feigned indifference, his body reacting against his will as he leaned into your touch, "You are not complaining?"

Reaching forward, he placed the wine glass down on the table in front of him, all the while holding your eyes with his honey-hued orbs. Leaning down, he collected your chin within his right hand and rose you to stand. As you rose to your feet, he gently guided your right hip with his left hand and urged you forward to straddle his waist.

"You're telling me," he gently hooked your hair over your ear and caressed your jawline gently, "You, my beautiful wife," he pressed his lips to your cheek, "Enjoy having a partially scruffy husband?"

Mihawk smiled against your cheek, pressing a further three kisses slowly against your cheek towards your neck. His moustache and beard tickled your face, prompting you to curl in to his soft touch.

"Careful now," he whispered, his lips finally catching that place on your neck below your earlobe that had a soft gasp fled your lips, "I might think you prefer me a little untamed, beloved."

"Mihawk," you gasped, your chest rising with the bloom of need in your chest and stomach. He chuckled against your neck, gently clamping his teeth down on your pulse and soothing it with his tongue.

"Upstairs, dear," he chuckled against your skin, his wandering hands gently caressing your knuckles as you continued to toy with his treasure trove of dark curls, "Let me show you just how wild and unbridled your husband can truly be for you."

You’ve been glowing for 5 going on 6 days, illuminating a good portion of the whatever space you occupied, and it was only that unmistakeable luminance that kept Lucifer from jolting out of bed.

The bedroom door had been kindly left open, and Lucifer hesitated only at the reminder that he had yet to take his slippers up from Hell and to your apartment. He leapt out of bed, clad in apple-printed boxers (the ones you could not stop giggling over as soon as you saw them) and sought you out. It shouldn’t have surprised him to see you assembling a bookshelf in just an old t-shirt in the middle of the living room floor. But the King of Hell stared at the bizarre picture in front of him for a long moment.

“Babe.”

You looked up at him and grinned.

“What?” His exasperation was mostly for show, already returning your smile with his own. Happiness was so contagious when you wore it.

“I couldn’t sleep.” You replied. “And the fact that this shelf was just sitting in the closet was driving me nuts. So I thought ‘why not?’. It’s better than just thinking about it till the sun comes up.”

“Better to become a carpenter than to cuddle with me, huh?” Lucifer gazed at you with too-big, saccharinely sad eyes and a quivering pout.

“Oooh, a carpenter like Jesus?” You asked. “You would bring him up, wouldn’t you my Prince of Darkness?”

“Pfffbbtt!” Lucifer waved your words away, sitting on the floor with you with legs crisscrossed. “You made that reference, not me!”

He sighed, head in hand as he stared at you with naked fondness. “You are a miracle though.”

Your arched brow and flick in the blond’s direction belied the color that rose in your cheeks. “Stop it, you.”

It didn’t stop the former Angel, continuing to make goo-goo eyes at you while you concentrated on lining up two wooden boards. Lucifer’s gaze set on the growing bump that now filled out beneath your breasts, visible even under your baggy clothing. He felt that overflowing flush of warmth through his whole body at the affirmation that you and the baby were doing well. The horror of your condition during your initial pregnancy was not gone from his mind; but he was more than tentatively hopeful that you would not only survive, but thrive. And so would your baby.

And then, once he or she was born maybe… maybe you would realize you loved him, or at least liked having him around. And maybe you would agree to see him and the baby sometimes, or even let them stay with you… and maybe he could be one of the things that made you happy in life…

“What’s that look for?” Your question catches him off-guard.

You’re not looking at him, busy twisting a nail into the bottom of the box you’d successfully created.

“Aha, hmm?” Lucifer cleared his throat. “I-uh, was just… wondering why you didn’t put any pants on to do this?”

You snorted, putting down your nail and tiny wrench. “Lucifer, you out of everyone should know that pants come off when it’s time to screw.”

“Hahaha, that’s so funn—o-oh, aha…” Lucifer went beet red with that and with your subsequent laughter.

You ended up washing your hands of the project when you realized your shelf was inside out. (“The instructions suck! And there’s too many labels. They want me to fail on purpose!”)

Lucifer took your hands and held you close, soothing your sore attitude with gentle words and fervent pawing as soon as you were back in the safety of your comforter together. The bookshelf lay forgotten until the late afternoon of the following day, though you fell asleep with a smile as Lucifer kissed your forehead goodnight, humming happily beside you.

While I’d love to hear six hours of discussion, perhaps we can hear your top 10 reasons you like Ironwood? Don’t want you to lose your voice after all my fellow Dadmiral friendo

Look I stream for 6 hours straight some days but that’s beside the point lolz. Also sorry this took so long. Life has been a thing.

1. James feels…human. I know the point of characters in stories is to make them feel alive and to immerse you into the world I know. But stay with me there are just little details like James adjusting his tie and little laughs at R/WBY’s antics that just make him feel more real.

2. James is strong. And not just in the physical sense but the emotional one. Between him in volume 3 holding it together despite the world falling apart around him and him taking on all of Atlas and Mantles hatred and vitriol while trying to protect them is incredible. Everyone hates him despite him trying his best and it’s both incredible and heartbreaking to see.

3. James is compassionate. I am not even slightly referring to volume 8 that bullshit is not canon at all just no. After watching Yang with his own eyes break (who he thought) was an innocent students leg unprovoked after the match ended and his aura was down, he believed her when she said she saw him attack first. He assumed the best of her even when all evidence showed that she was being malicious. Or in volume 4 when Weiss accidentally summoned a Grimm that attacked someone, he stood up for her or after Ruby failed to stop Cinder in volume 3 (? Or 2 can’t remember for sure) and he told her she did well and she took action which is what huntresses do. He is strict but he shows kindness to people.

4. He’s kind of silly sometimes. He’s normally very strict so it makes his funny moments stand out more. Like when he laughs when the girls admit they stole an airship or when he grins at Winters comment about how he couldn’t pay her to smile for the cameras.

5. He’s not a good public speaker. Now I can hear you say “but wait, he speaks publically all the time and while yes he does, he also does the equivalent of error 404 when things don’t go exactly as he mentally prepared beforehand and we see this in volume 7.

When the girls don’t react at all to his announcement that they’re all huntresses now he just freezes because this man needs to preplan everything and he did not have a plan b prepared and panics and it’s so relatable I adore it so much.

6. He’s awkward. While similar to the last point, people can suck at public speaking and still be able to converse well with people in a smaller setting but sometimes James seems to even be a little awkward even in less formal moments.

7. In early volumes he was allowed to make mistakes and still be a good person. I like it when characters are allowed to make a mistake and still be seen as a good guy. People make mistakes and screw up but that doesn’t make said person evil. Sometimes we can’t fix something or stop a bad thing from happening or even make a decision that winds up causing more problems. But the intention of the decision is the important thing. James wanted to protect people in volumes 2 and 3 so he brought his army because he had a feeling Salem was up to something. Cinder used said army to cause even more chaos but at the time the narrative refused to demonize him for this and allowed people to understand what his intentions were. That’s way more compelling than the narrative twisting itself to try and somehow prove the mains are always correct and never make mistakes. Learning and growing make stories interesting.

8. James is willing to make the tough decisions. Time and time again we see James making really difficult calls to try and navigate a war that most people don’t even know they’re fighting. He makes the plans to transfer Ambers Aura to keep it from Cinder. He pulled his armies from the other kingdoms to try and maintain peace, he decided to focus on Amity instead of the wall to try and restore global communication, he decided to try and save who he could when he was put between a rock and a hard place. He made the tough calls and stuck by his decision and that is admirable.

9. James trusts people. After James’s talk with Glynda she took his advice to heart and was more open and honest with people. When Winter tells him something is going on at Haven, he takes her word for it. When Ruby and co lie to his face he trusts their word. He trusts Yang when she says she saw Mercury attack her first during the Vytal Festival. (Despite what the narrative tries to tell us) James gives people the benefit of the doubt and is willing to trust people.

10. James is an incredible fighter even without a typical offensive Aura. Pretty self explanatory but James is able to go toe to toe with some dangerous adversaries and hold his own despite not having a special “super power” like everyone else does. Or even a special weapon really he kicks ass with just a pair of guns and that is so badass of him lolz.

And a bonus more meta point because I want to talk about this so there. But one thing I loved about Ruby and James’s volume 7 fallout is that we can see exactly how and why each of them made the decision they did during that breakdown. On one had we have Ruby who is full of hope still and sees the best in the world. She lost her friends and is still dealing with the trauma of that and doesn’t want to ever lose anyone else again or let people suffer a loss like she did during the fall of Beacon. On the other we have James who is equally traumatized from Beacon but in a very different way. He did his best to fight back against Salem and it was in the end used against him and caused even more pain and suffering. He’s terrified of going toe to toe against Salem again and wants to protect what he knows he can until he knows they are able to take on Salem. It’s realistic and painful and neither side is really a perfect option. It’s a bad situation and we can see how the characters respond to it and it feels in character and real and I wish that we got to see that writing continue into volume 9.

Sorry again for how long this one took! As I said life’s been all over the place and chaotic and it still is but I got a burst of motivation so I decided to finally type this out.

Engagement rings headcanons

Was scrolling through the engagement rings with my friendo the other day, and they dared me to choose individual rings for everyone in mm, so here's the result of that silly dare. I know we technically already know about this from the 'mysterious confesson' merch we got, but this was still a very fun exercise to do. These are just my headcanons, and were made solely for fun, don't take my thoughts on this too seriously! :D

Yoosung

Would go with something classy and romantic, probably a bit of vintage, too. He wants your engagement ring to reflect his love for you, which may lead him to become antsy and indecisive when picking one. He doesn't want it to be too expensive, or too cheap. It has to be just right. Poor guy even sketches out a clumsy 'prototype' he shows to the employees, as it's hard to relay his vision across with just words. In the end, he ends up either getting either a classic diamond ring with an infinity band (he thinks it's sweet to include a small detail of your appreciation to each other lasting forever, however cheesy that may sound) or something a bit more vintage and intricate in style. I don't think he would have any preferences concerning the color of metal, so he might go with a mix of white and yellow metal.

Would definitely go over the top - the man's a true romantic, you can't tell me he hasn't dreamed of his wedding at least a couple of times! He appreciates everything you've done for him, and he wants this ring to show it. He wants this ring to be everything you've ever dreamed of and so much more. Might struggle with high expectations he sets up for himself, which results in him just stressing himself out instead of enjoying the process like he's supposed to. You might have to have a talk with him about that. As for the ring itself, I think he'll go with something pink and soft in color! There's just something that's is so sweet and light whenever he looks at rose gold engagement rings, it makes him instantly think about you. That's when he knows it's the one. After all, pink is the color of romance!

Would get something custom-made, but still pretty traditional. She wants something that would catch your attention, but won't be an inconvenience to wear. She wouldn't stress out too much, and you two would probably agree on a design together, instead of her surprising you with something. You are her partner, and she wants your rings to reflect that. A delicate and easy design is her go-to. But, if you want something eye-catching, that's okay too, as long as it's not a bother to wear. I think she would go with platinum options when it comes to color. It's simple but very pretty to look at. Kind of like you :) She would also like to add custom engravings to your rings. Still, he focuses more on the spiritual meaning of the ring rather than its cost. Money's not an issue to him either way, and he knows that you don't care about how expensive this ring will be. Regardless, he wants only the best for you, as you rightfully deserve. Jumin would go for traditional classic designs, as he finds them the most flattering to look at. Might also like boho-styled engagement rings. When it comes to the process of picking one, he won't overthink it too much. He wants the ring to be perfect, no doubt, but he's pretty cool-headed with his search. Might ask Elizabeth to pick out the best design if he's conflicted. With her intricate collection of collars, he knows she has a good sense of elegance. Would probably go for yellow gold variety when it comes to color, as it's the most classy one in his eyes.

Saeyoung

Would go with something simplistic but unique. I am like 70% sure he would create your engagement rings and wedding bands by hand. It just sounds like something Saeyoung would do. Poor guy would probably be the most stressed of all the others. He wants it to be perfect so badly, but he's also indecisive as hell. See, he's mostly non-traditional when it comes to his tastes, but he also really likes the classic styles of rings, not to mention that the idea of a classic traditional wedding makes him feel all emotional on the inside. This issue would probably persist throughout your entire wedding planning, and not just the creation of your engagement rings: he just can't decide which side to take for the life of him. In the end, he'll probably find the middle ground thanks to your help and encouragement. He's gonna let out the biggest sigh of relief once those rings are finally done. And probably cry right after, as he has never thought he would hold anything as precious as an engagement ring meant for his soulmate in his own hands. Would go with white gold for color.

Jihyun

Would go for something custom-made and simple, but still a bit unique in its presentation. I don't think he has much preference when it comes to style, so he's fine with anything you pick. He doesn't want it to be too ostentatious or expensive, however. He strikes me as someone who prefers more modest designs, even if he'd like to sprinkle some custom design choices. It'll depend on your relationship with him, and what makes it unique for you. He wants your rings to reflect that, more than anything else. He wouldn't be anxious while working on the design itself, occasionally asking for your input, as he wants these rings to be the representation of your shared love, not just his own. He might go a bit overboard and come up with a borderline silly-looking design initially, so it'd be best for you to keep him from getting too creative. Can't fault the man for getting carried away. He would probably go for yellow metal, as it reminds him of the sun.

GE Saeran

Would go for something simple, romantic, and vintage-styled. Saeran doesn't know much about the intricacies that go into picking out an engagement ring, so I can imagine he'd get pretty overwhelmed the first time he tries to research the topic on his own. You'll probably end up picking it out together, patiently discussing important details between yourselves. He knows he doesn't want it to be too fancy or eye-catching, and he knows he wants the ring to remind him of your smile whenever he looks at it. His criteria is pretty easy but sweet nonetheless. It's less about the details and more about his inner feelings. He would probably go for a floral-themed ring if he comes across one that catches his eye, but it's not definitive. He would also go for a colored gemstone, mostly because he likes it better that way. He loves the color pink, as it reminds him of the feeling your gentle love, so he will have a preference for rose gold rings, not doubt.

SE Saeran

Would go for something both unique but elegant. Now, Saeran is definitely not picky when it comes to engagement rings. He kind of feels out of his depth here. Still, it is very important to ask for his input and offer for him to pick out some options he likes, even just on a whim. You two will take your time during this process, as there is no need to rush, and he will get overwhelmed from time to time. It's best to take it one small step at a time, not rushing into anything too quickly. He needs to be reminded that he has nothing to worry about, as all that truly matters is your bond with one another. Saeyoung will probably be the one to make your engagement rings for you, as well as your wedding bands. Partially to not stress Saeran too much with all the shopping, as jewelry stores tend to be too bright for the eyes. It'll be a pretty unique and somewhat edgy design but with a touch of soft colors in the mix. Kind of like him. 

Rika

Is the type to go over the top but, in reality, she would like something classic and simple. When she's in a good place both physically and mentally, she's very doting, and she's also a hopeless romantic. I'd say she's almost on par with Zen when it comes to her romantic fantasies, which is why she loves his musicals as much as she does. It can be a good thing, but it also makes her prone to perfectionism. She will pick out a very fancy ring that she thinks is good enough for someone as wonderful as you, but... she feels dissatisfied with the result, and that makes her anxious. Rika is a people pleaser, so she tends to make choices with someone else in mind, rather than trusting her own heart. You guys will have to talk about it. It's hard to understand what you like when you've lived your whole life masking as someone you're not. In the end, I think she would go for something simple and elegant, probably also combine the colors she associates with your love. Keep her in check, though, as we all know Rika's design skills are out of this world. 

Vanderwood

Weirdly enough? Despite their seemingly simplistic nature, I think they would go for something very unique and even a little odd-looking. Vanderwood is a pretty laid-back person, but all these casual vibes go out the window once it comes down to design. They are very picky with anything that they own in their closet, and engagement rings are on another level completely. They wear leopard print for a reason! I think they would end up getting something custom-made, as it's the easiest way not to stress out over the perfect design. They are not so much nervous as they are choosy. Still, they do have a major soft spot for you, so it's up to you to stir them in the right direction. They would like you to be very involved in the process of deciding on a perfect engagement ring. The end result will still be weird, though. But, the amount of weirdness will depend solely on you. Whether to embrace the weirdness, or to add just a touch of it - it is your choice to make.

Causal Caseytello (Dona AU)

Part 2 to THIS ASK because it was getting very long and it was filled to the brim with two very deep topics. The questions from the Asks are taken straight here to be judged as anyone so pleases.

"For the Dona AU, does anything change with the China Town episode with the spirit guy or the episode during the farmhouse arc with the demon car?"

Well for one thing, I JUST REALIZED THAT I CAN MAKE THIS REWRITE CANON SO- UH- YEAH. A LITTLE BIT OF ALTERATION TO THE CHINA TOWN STORY. SIBLING LOVE FOR THE WIN!

Ykw fine. We gonna do some causal Caseytello.

The beginning of the episode is Casey is trying to show off and Donnie gets frustrated because she thinks Casey is mocking her kunoichi abilities. April snaps at them because they won't stop bickering, Casey offers an 'apology hug' but Donnie stomps off to pout at the edge of a roof. Where she (happily) spots the Purple Dragons. Letting her friends know, she hurries down to face them.

Casey (not getting the hint) CONTINUES to be a show-off and Donnie fights back with the same brash attitude. They end up letting the Purple Dragons get away and April is ticked at them. Donnie fails to apologize and tries to blame Casey. Neither takes responsibility.

Later, after her brothers get taken and they develop a plan, Casey and Donnie do their research. Then they go on a ✨rescue mission✨

The rest of the episode goes on as canon.

The first few episodes at the farmhouse are just them getting closer and THEN comes Race With The Demon. Starts out with an argument, they get run off the road, go to the farmhouse, tell the story, and Donnie complains of pain. CASEY, looking guilty, offers the massage, which has everyone giving him a baffled look as Donnie’s like, “NO?? Obvs no?? Don’t touch me you weirdo???” and then she makes a dismissive comment about repairing his dents in the Party Wagon as she leaves the room, rubbing her neck.

Then we find them chilling in the barn, alphabetically insulting each other as friendemies do. They work on the car, test the car, Casey wrecks the car (&saves an old lady, respect). He makes a comment like “Donnie’s gonna kill me,” and then when Donnie shows up, she’s more upset about the fact that he ditched her than anything else.

They get back to the farmhouse, eventually meet in the barn, and Casey awkwardly apologizes for leaving her behind. She tries to dismiss him but he pleads for her and her “sweet scientific genius.” Her beak reddens but she pushes his face away, nonchalant as she agrees to try out a “crazy, awesome idea.���

✨They build and drink coffee together like friendos ✨

Insert the VIP of the farmhouse arc: DR CLUCKINGSWORTH. M.D.

Then we introduce The Turtleracer. Head on the road. And take on the Speed Demon! (Where Casey actually follows the plan, shocking)

Donnie jumps on a speeding car, because these children are both apparently adrenaline junkies, and tears the human out.

AND THEN- OH NOOO- SHE GETS EATEN!!

And Casey. Is. Not. Having. It.

So they race! And fight! And Casey, realizing that he’s going to lose, furiously declares, “I don’t care about winning! I just want her back!” And furiously tears Donnie out of the car.

Donnie goes back to normal, Casey quickly runs over to assist her to her feet with an arm around her shoulder, and then asks if she’s okay. She says that she is and they get about two seconds to stare softly into each other’s eyes before Speed Demon runs at them.

Donnie quickly shoves Casey out of Speed Demon’s way, and then stabs into it’s maw with a vengeful, “You leave him alone!”

They hit the ground, the others ram the PartyWagon off the cliff, and victory is scored! No problems here, right? (No. Forget that)

Donnie, who was JUST demutated, fails to stand once on her feet. Casey catches her, she shakily blames it on the adrenaline loss, and then repeats the sentiment to the worried group running over. Casey dismisses the weakness topic entirely and get a conversation going about how awesome their plan was. Donnie lights up and they both begin rambling, neither noticing the way that Casey’s arm is still snuggly around her shell.

Then audience gets to see Raph and April exchange a widely fandom-interpreted Look before the black and white scene appears.

I want this to be the A Foot To Big scene that the audience ABSOLUTELY HATES because they go back to friendemies after this. There are definitely little moments where they’re fluffy and crushing for a while, but nothing super serious happens.

There’s a definite amount of crushing for the rest of the series but neither makes a real move. UNTIL!!

The Power Inside of Her. And if it’s not obvious why, then I’m going to need you to watch the episodes again cause that’s a big one.

Donnie becomes blue sparkles!! And Casey’s there to watch it!!

And now he’s depressed! Because Donnie’s dead and now they have to kill his human bestie! And when she runs at Raph (because he’s pretty insistent that she die, RIP Angry Man), Casey stands in the way and begs, “Remember Donnie!”

And it works! Yay!!

And now we move onto Tokka vs. The World where the brothers are like “I dunno maybe Donnie should sit this one out” and Donnie takes great offense and shoves her way into the field with Casey’s support, though he’s pretty “if you make us separate I will end your life.” And then Leo DOES tell him&Mikey to separate and Casey throws his mini fit. Then Donnie gives him a meaningful look and he’s like “But what about you?” and Donnie insists that she can take care of herself, to which he reluctantly agrees, and she pleas with him to stay with Mikey. Locked under her sadorable gaze, Casey gives in with a grumbled, “Only if you promise not to be stupid” to which she mockingly replies, “C’mon, Jones, it’s me we’re talking about”.

She runs off with Leo and doesn’t notice his subdued gaze following her down the hall. Mikey looks between them with squinty eyes and a loud, “Hmmm.” Casey, catching his stare, quickly begins loudly complaining about being left behind. They get caught.

*insert the events of the episode*

Then we go to The Tale of Tiger Claw. Episode events progress. Casey is warned. Donnie looks very, very worried in the background.

She tells him to take the premonition seriously.

He replies that “he’s not afraid of any dumb ol’ vision.”

She’s not satisfied but she lets it’s slide.

Insert the girls in the lab. Leo says they gonna do patrol, designates teams, but everyone’s surprised when Casey asks to be paired with Donnie. Leo looks at Donnie, Donnie gives a confused shrug, and then Leo tells him to stick with Raph. Instead of the discussion between Mikey&Leo, it spans to Raph&Casey.

They’re chillin’ in an alley as Raph side-eyes the vigilante. Casey notices and demands, “What?”

Raph asks, “So what’s up between you and Donnie?”

“Nothin’.” Looking concerned, he asks, “Why? Did she say something?”

“It’s not about what she’s saying. It’s about what you’re not saying.”

Evidently uncomfy, he causally drawls, “You totally lost me.”

“Look, man, are you going to ask her out or what?”

To which Casey jolts and falls backward into the Turtleracer with a frantic kind of “HUH?!”

The question never gets answered because Leo alerts them to the incoming danger and the conversation is dropped for a chase scene. They fight Alopex, Casey gets scratched, Tiger Claw vs Alopex fight, and then they regroup and Casey almost gets crushed.

They head back to the lair and Casey is shown to be very carefully not looking at Raph as they learn more about the curse. When Casey makes the comment about getting kissed poisoned by Karai, Donnie glowers as she puts out the fire behind him. Splinter tells them all how to break the curse and they head out.

They head off to find her, the van gets hit, and Raph chides Casey for it. Donnie immediately stands and reminds him why he needs to be there to break the curse and Casey chimes in with a firm, “So back off me, brah!” With both of them glaring him down, Raph puts up his hands in surrender.

Satisfied, Donnie sits down and goes back to work.

Raph lets his gaze slide from Casey to Donnie and then back. He raises an eye ridge. Casey stomps to the front of the vehicle.

They fight Alopex, Casey almost dies multiple times, and then she runs off. After the battle, Donnie hurries up to Casey to demand if he���s okay, a hand on his arm as she looks him over. It moves to his face as she angles it, holding up two fingers. He gives the right number and reassures her that he’s fine, only for her to be skeptical.

Leaning into her hand and glancing at their close proximity, he slyly adds, “This curse really isn’t that bad.”

She blinks, clearly frazzled, awkwardly picking up her staff and opening her mouth like she’s going question it when the blade of the staff in her other hand almost impales him in the face.

He shouts as she frantically backs up, sheepishly apologizing and promising, “I-I’ll- uh, keep my distance.”

She turns and he flails, snapping, “This curse is the worst!”

They pile into the van. Tiger Claw gives his backstory. Then captures Alopex. But- uh oh! Turtles arrive to free her!

Fighting ensues! Casey almost dies many more times!

Then he breaks the blade! No more curses!

More fighting. Tiger Claw gets no arm and no tail.

Donnie hurries up to him when all is said and done and, predictably, demands to know his medical state. He tells her that he’s both fine and curseless, and she, visibly relieved, gives him a quick peck on the cheek before pulling away and snapping, “And next time listen to the dumb ol’ visions so you STAY THAT WAY!”

She stomps back to the vehicle, leaving everyone staring dumbfounded at Casey. He looks surprised, and then grins, looking after her as he muses, “You know, Raph. I think you got a point.”

The episode pans out with him watching her leave. Many hints.

The most hinty of episodes that absolutely nothing happens with.

"I also keep thinking about how would Casey and Donnie end up together if they did and how the others would react? Like how would that play out if it does? What would be their dynamic?"

They’re openly flirty for the rest of their time on screen, but it’s never confirmed if they actually get together or not. It’s left up for the audience to decide. Inspires a great many fanfictions.

'If' they did get together, it would be after The Tale Of Tiger Claw when Casey asks her out. Donnie would be confused about why a human would actually want to go out with her and would probably need time to think it over. Over some kind of episode span, I think she'd talk to all her brothers one-on-one about it briefly and then end the episode by accepting his offer.

All the brothers know Casey well enough to be confident that he's not going to do anything unforgivable, so they're supportive enough to tell her to say yes if she wants but also that she can be sure that he will die if he doesn't accept a no as an answer.

There's a decent amount of teasing during the relationship, but they all saw this coming, so no one really gives it a second glance.

They constantly clash but are able to apologize and work out their issues. They have similar interests in tech, so they build insane, explosive, and dangerous things together. They're often chill when they hang out but willing to dip into insulting sarcasm. Casey refuses to let Donnie hear out the insecurities in her brain and Donnie never hesitates to make Casey gifts so he can live his best life.

Their favorite pastime is finding a way to rile on another up. If you ask Donnie, she'll say that "he probably did something to deserve it." If you ask Casey, he'll smirk and say, "She's hot when she's mad"

Nobody understands why they work but they do.

Okay, fine, you forced my hand but YES I listen to It's Not Like I Like You when I think about their relationship what do you want from me?!
