The way that ppl don't treat Ada as a romantic interest for Leon as much as other character because she isn't white is so real, I legit don't think Leon has chemistry like that with Claire or Ashley unlike with Ada and yet ppl put Ada under Claire/Ashley

at the risk of sounding like a hater... claire is barely a person, at least in the main games. and also infinite darkness btw. and the other bad movie. more importantly tho there is no relationship between them. she and leon are friends but there is absolutely zero romantic chemistry there and when it is it absolutely feels forced LMAO. they have been in, what, one game together? and people wanted a relationship between them so they keep pairing them in different movies and spinoffs and shit and every time they fail to make any sort of chemistry happen. zero sparks fly. they feel like people who knew each other in high school but haven't spoken in 10 years so its awkward but they dont hate each other so they keep trying to make a friendship happen.

ada is integral to leons character. whether or not their relationship is romantic or something else there is at least A RELATIONSHIP, one that ends (since the last time they were seen chronologically was re6) with them fighting together against some incel who was obsessed with her and also he cradles her in his arms. theyre constantly flirting, they are two peas in a pod, rarely is there one without the other (movies, i guess).

i dont know why there is any sort of ship war between them because if you look at anything besides fanart there is not really a contest. im not even an aeon truther like that i just understand that they are important to each other.
