I'm decreeing that nobody is allowed to talk about weight loss or fat positivity or anything related to it unless you first clarify what you think "fat" means. If I have to go through one more conversation with someone who is "super pro-fat-acceptance! I'm fat and I love my body! Being fat can't cause health problems and I'm proof!" and then I find out that they're 15 pounds overweight I will not be held responsible for my actions
Although that is still better than the alternative, which is someone assuring me that weight loss isn't that hard, they got fat over the pandemic but they stopped eating fast food and started working out and they were back to their normal weight in a couple of months! Those doctors tried convincing them that they needed 'medicine' or 'surgery' but they did it all by themselves, and I can too if I just use a little willpower! And then you find out they were never more than 15 pounds overweight (and for SURE no doctor actually recommended weight loss surgery to them)

Went to the doc today and got a new quote for the list of funniest things doctors have said to me: "I'm definitely treating you for something, I just don't know what it is. The hydrocortisone is working though" Long story short, I still do not have a diagnosis for Addison's, but I also don't definitively not have Addison's, and I am staying on the hydrocortisone (which is, in fact, working lol) but now I get stress doses to take when needed Also I found out when you tell a nurse and then a doctor who are concerned at your resting heart rate being in the 120s "yeah, I had an allergic reaction last night, my food was cross contaminated" they get identical like D: expressions (apparently allergic reactions severe enough to cause GI issues are severe enough that I should take a stress dose of my meds, which is good for me to know!) edited to add: it's really weird for me (not bad! just weird!) to go to this particular doctor, because I can just ask him "Hey can I please get my vitamin D, vitamin b12, and iron levels checked?" and he's like "Yeah, sure" and just orders the tests right then. He doesn't even ask why

I'm not wildly fond of tumblr ads promoting weight loss all willy-nilly, but the theming of this one combined with the fact that I saw it on a blog that I first followed for Dracula Daily posting has me losing it. Lose weight how, pray tell, dear tumblr ad? Lose blood weight? Because someone's drinking it? Am I going to be running through Transylvania because there's a vampire chasing me?

Upper abs are starting to show again!
And my waist is looking more defined 💫
I’m honestly so pleased with my progress! I’m working very hard every day on my fitness and nutrition, and I’m happy to see results.
Sometimes it really feels like nothing is happening, like nothing is changing. I just don’t see it.
But my body is clearly changing! My old clothes are starting to fit again. My new clothes are fitting better. I can hold yoga poses for longer and do more complex poses and flows again. I have more stamina and endurance.
The number on the scale is going down slowly but everything else is changing. And as I don’t walk around with a post-it note that shows my weight on my forehead, I’m totally ok with that!
I’ll definitely keep working to be the best version of myself.
