Here we go again with the Werewolf Arena Au! This thing it’s getting out of hand ( “ ͡❛ ᴗ ͡❛)💧 More info under cut!
The idea is that some dalish elves that were living as werewolves, similar to the Brecilian curse but they accepted their shapeshifting form. Then some magisters got to know about this and studied the curse. They learned how to cast this curse upon others to transform them and created the Arena, wich kind of works like the Gladiator Games of the Colosseum.
All the bad guys of Dragon Age are the owners of the competitors, except for Varric that -yes- own some competitors BUT doesn't make “his” werewolves compete in the Arena. He just have enough money to buy competitors that will be killed otherwise, so he buys them to save their ass.
Meanwhile the Templars Order translate in the Arena Guards Order. Their are meant to keep the competitors under control but when they sign up for the job they doesn’t know that they’ll be transformed as well and that they’ll be unable to leave their jobs.
