HIII mac coming into yr inbox with murderbot propaganda bcos it is one of my favorite favorite favorite series of ever.. the murderbot diaries is a series of like, five novellas & a proper novel! they're all fairly short & very easy to read... i don't want to spoil things but murderbot diaries is about uhm. transgenderness. and. autism. and nonhumanness. and being. like. an Other, in a society. and like. the journey from thinking that being alienated is normal, being treated like shit is normal, it's fine if it happens to you. to realizing. hey. fuck. god fucking damnit. maybe i don't deserve this either. while still finding comfort & pride in yr identity. and not wanting to be normal™️. and finding people who respect you and your boundaries and identity and don't try to force you to become something you're not, and how fucking insane it feels when you actually find someone like that.

also its about a terrifying murder weapon who is just, really tired and done all the time & instead of going on a murder rampage it just watches a shit ton of those like. 15 season historical dramas and babysits a bunch of humans. also it has tasty worldbuilding that's like, actually multicultural??? and not eurocentric????? which is so sick. anyway yes bounces around murderbot is my favorite blorbo ever it has the most delightful and relatable writing ever there's cool robot fights and space battles here is the link 2 the first novella :] (also psspsps at one point there is a sentient ai ship..)
