bitches love an empty trailhead parking lot and other shots from our lunchtime 12km walk
#dogblr#maverick#pike#waaaaaay too nice of a day to pass up a hike#we have a sniffspot tomorrow morning so the dogs get TWO extremely enriching days in a row#they were thrilled btw#and shockingly good at staying on the trail despite many a squirrel and rabbit signs#although i forgot how hard it is to walk on snow/ice and now im SORE#looking forward to not moving for the rest of the day#(for those who dont live in places with ice - those things on my shoes are crampons#theyre little metal pieces that stick out and grip the ice so you can walk/run in slippery conditions.#they are one step less intense than microspikes which are usually much sharper and used for glaciers/ice climbing)
