Re-chording had become part of Lincoln's weekly routine. When he first moved back, he'd justified his weekly visits under the guise of getting his acoustic re-strung, but after that, he kept coming. There were a couple rare records for sale-- their price tags rightfully within the hundreds and thousands-- that Linc was passively keeping an eye on, a pressing of Diamond Dogs for over three grand, an early recording of (What's the Story) Morning Glory? for a couple hundred. He'd gotten to know a couple of the cashiers, too, and liked to see who was playing what.

Today, Linc had some time to kill before he was due at work. He smiled a greeting to the cashier when the bell on the door announced his presence, and Linc immediately made a beeline to the vinyl section-- only to find someone else already there. He planted himself in front of jazz, flipping through Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald albums, half-looking for anything by the Ink Spots and half-glancing at the man next to him. Surely that wasn't...

"Finding anything good?" he asked, making eye contact with the man he was now certain was Elijah Falvey. Linc could always tell when someone was studying him, trying to place his face-- and if he had experienced that a handful of times, how much more had Elijah felt the same thing? He figured it was best to get out ahead of it, to admit that he was... well, more than a little starstruck. "I'm Linc," he offered his hand to shake, "I'm... a big fan. Sorry if that's-- I don't mean to be weird about it."

I think post s8 bonnie could work with Elijah tbh. but I feel like human au bonnie/Elijah is also really elite. their babies would look like Zendaya or something ridiculous beautiful lol.

Bonlijah could’ve been such a fun and intriguing dynamic. It’s so funny that Elijah recruited Bonnie to help kick his brother’s ass and not only do we not see them plan this at all. Bonnie still has this fiery passion in the mist that while threatening his life? Elijah is tempting Bonnie to not do it because it’ll hurt her. *chefs kiss* as told by TO Elijah likes a woman who can kick ass, and maybe kick his too. Daniel joked once that he’d play Bonnie if he could lmao.

I can see it in a post s8 stance and as humans! Maybe Bonnie and Elijah cross paths while they’re traveling and Bonnie realizes Elijah has no clue who he is. She should ignore the original against her better judgment but Elijah walking around with no memories is super vulnerable. I’d love to see what conversations could be made because Elijah’s actions were the catalyst of Abby getting killed and turned.

It’ll be some issues and toxicity that needs to be ironed out as usual. Which is normal for a TVDU ship, but some people seems to claim that Bonnie deserves better than a toxic romance but never hold their favorite (white woman x evil man) pairing up to that standard. Not to say that Bonnie doesn’t deserve a “normal” relationship it’s just that in a franchise of predatory creatures like vampires a normal was never going to exist.

Also Bonnie spends most of her time single. Upholding standards such as morality clauses just follows narratives the writers put on her. We don’t have to see Bonnie as undesirable just because the writing does.

hey. if you're a live tapes enjoyer, do yourself a favor and go listen to the 03-01-2024 Grace Cathedral solo show tape. i listen to a lot of live tapes and this has hands down the most breathtakingly gorgeous acoustics I've ever heard. the way the church echoes is absolutely ethereal and the performance is haunting and beautiful. this tape is one for the books, for sure.

Hey everyone, long time no see! Apologies for the months of silence - but I’m back now! I needed to take a much needed step back from HOCO and focus on some other projects of mine (as well as play a ungodly amount of BG3 hehe).

On my break, I also decided to kinda tear down HOCO and rebuild it from the ground up. I wasn’t really pleased with how the story was going and I think that really contributed to the burnout I felt with the project. I still would like to include the premise of the various life stages, but may go about it in a different way than I had initially planned - things to think about more I suppose!

Anyways here’s some behind the scenes of what I’ve been up to - starting with revisiting the cast’s (+ Nico’s) main outfits and updating them :3
