My cat Daisy doesn't even know there's a kitten in the house 💔

My mother made a cake for my birthday and I have to assume she got her recipe off of tumblr.
#I'm going to be tasting vanilla for a fucking week#I don't even like cake and I definitely don't like vanilla cake and I ESPECIALLY don't like vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream#She's a fantastic artist and sculptor but apparently cannot decorate a cake to save her life#By her own admission on that one#But I don't mind that I think that was sweet#What I don't like is the fact that she made my stepdad's favorite cake for *my* birthday#Like mfer he had his chance four months ago!!!#It's MY birthday#Not to mention that every year for the past ten years I've asked for one of two kinds if cakes: ice cream or cheesecake#Bcs I've told everyone I'm not a big cake person#Tho I do love me some cupcakes they're perfect portions#But not vanilla vanilla with EXTRA EXTRA MADAGASCAR VANILLA#This cake is so fucking white it started colonizing shit#I didn't even ask for a cake but my step-dad has been wanting cake#So it's really not cake for me considering she outright admitted she knows I don't like buttercream but my step-dad won't eat cream cheese#It is no longer my birthday technically and it wasn't when she finally started making the cake#MY VROTHER IN LAW HAS *COVID* AND LOST HIS SENSE OF TASTE AND EVEN *HE* COULD TASTE THE VANILLA#COULDNT TASTE IT OUTTA HIS COFFEE CREAMER BUT BY GOD IT OVERPOWERED HIM FROM THE DAMN CAKE#Axel rants a lot#But only in the tags lmao
