Mysticons Villain Teamup Episode
Note: This is based on an ask I got as a message where various villains team up to defeat the Mysticons. As it includes Dr. Jarlos and Mallock, who were villains when Sharise was part of the Mysticons, Sharise will be in this as well. Adakite from the novel "Secret of the Fifth Mysticon", as I needed another villain for this, and figured she would work well.
The Mysticons are just coming back from the mall, with Piper asking Arkayna if she can use the hairspray Arkayna just bought. Arkayna agrees, and Piper is almost about to put too much in before Arkayna stops her. Just then, they hear that Lance O'Lovely is attacking the Undercity. They are all surprised, as they thought that they defeated him, and have no idea why he returned. Em says that it doesn't matter, and that the important thing is that Lance is stopped. Sharise guesses that he wants to steal people's voices, but Zarya points out how strange it is that he's just going after random people in the undercity. Before they leave, Piper realizes that she's still holding the hairspray and, not wanting to waste time giving the hairspray back to Arkayna to put it away, thows it in the portal bag she was carrying.
They get to the undercity, and it looks like Lance's attack on the Undercity was just starting, as there wasn't much damage done to nearby buildings, and no one was hurt. This confuses the Mysticons, as the attack should have been well on the way by now. Ignoring the strangeness, they start fighting Lance anyway. At first, it seems like an easy fight. However, as right before Lance was defeated, Adakite, Mallock, Tazma, and Dr. Jarlos attacks the Mysticons. While the Mysticons try to fight back, the surprise ambush quickly overwhelms them.
When the Mysticons wake up, they realize they are in some sort of cell. Arkayna points out how they're somewhere different than where she was trapped earlier, which makes sense. Mallock comes, and Sharise tells him that whatever him and his evil team is planning, it won't work. Mallock laughs, saying that he knows the secret to the Mysticons' success is them working together, so he found people to work with him. Zarya demands to know what he's planning, but Mallock leaves without answering.
The Mysticons try to escape, but they find that the cell's locks sare in is perfectly designed to withstand their powers. Zarya scoffs, saying that it makes sense that people who dislike the Mysticons as much as the villains they fought would plan for this. They realize that there's nothing stopping them from reaching through the bars and sees Piper's portal bag nearby. Sharise says that she saw Piper throw the hairspray in it and Em realizes that they can use it. Zarya uses her bow and arrow to bring the bag closer, and Arkayna uses her power to ignite a little bit of the hairspray Sharise sprayed out to cause a small fire right on the lock, breaking it. The Mysticons use their bracers to put out the fire (similar to what they did in "Happily Never After"), and leave.
They find themselves in the middle of a desert, and only have a vague idea as to which direction Drake City was in, thanks to knowing the only desert near Drake City was north of it.. They try to use their bangle phones to find their way back to Drake City, but they don't have service. As they walk, they come across scoprion-like creatures that attack. The Mysticons fight them off, and Em suggests that everyone checks for scratches or pierce marks, as the scorpions could be venomous. Seeing that none of them were injured, they continue walking.
During the walk, they talk about what happned. Em points out how someone must have freed Adakite, and that whoever it was would have likely had to solve the locks. Zarya points out that Tazma was in the stronghold, so she may overheard the Mysticons talking about it while thinking about old adventures. They also think that Mallock, Lance, and Dr. Jaros were close enough in the dungeon to plan a way out together, though Sharise points out that, from what she's seen of Lance's interviews, he probably wasn't smart enough to do much planning. As they try to figure out what this means, they evenutally find a road leading back to Drake City, and follow it.
They get to the undercity, and notice that it's the same as it was before and realize the attack on the undercity was just a way to get the Mysticons there. Arkayna points out that Dr. Jarlos seemed to be against the Mysticons, and that all of the villains probably wanted the Mysticons gone. The group of villains find them, and a fight ensues. When Piper taunts them about leaving the bag where they can see it, the villains blame each other. There is a fight, and while all the villains are focused on fighting the Mysticons, they are not working as a team. The Mysticons manage to use it to their advantage my using their own teamwork to take the villains down two at a time, until Tazma is the only one left standing. He manages to flee.
Queen Goodfey comes, and arrests the rest of the villains. She hugs the girls, grateful that they're all right. Em winces in pain with the hug, and they realize that they were so worried about the scorpion sting that they didn't notice the sunburn. Em says that she'll be fine, but Arkayna is quiet. As they are about to leave, Zarya pulls Arkayna to the side and reassures her that Em is fine, and that it was just a sunburn. Arkayna says she knows, but admits the fact that she didn't notice an injury one of them sustained, even a minor one, worries her. Zarya asks why, and Arkayna says that it's possible that she misses a serious injury. Zarya tells Arkayna that she'd notice something really bad, but Arkayna doesn't seem assured.

The question split the air, even catching the ear of Dragonfly, still hovering overhead. Earthshaker’s tremors ceased, staring with sudden uncertainty at his boss. Dozens of other small-time villains; tiny nuisances the hero had been all too quick to put away stopped their menial tasks to stare.
Brightwind took a shaky breath, feeling the force of it rattle her shattered ribs. She was laying in a depress of asphalt, surrounded and utterly alone. Maybe this would be the end. Maybe. But she wasn’t going down without leaving something memorable in her wake.
Bladereign didn’t let the silence fall for very long. “We shall rule together.” she announced, her smile dripping with false benevolence.
Brightwind didn’t even need to contest that, a laugh had already slipped from the crowd of evildoers. Bladereign whipped around, eyes scanning for the dissenter, but they were lost in a crowd of gaudy costumes. Brightwind gave a soft laugh, trying not to wince at the pain shooting through her chest.
“Oh right, because the villain called Bladereign is going to distribute power fairly. Sure. You know, the henchman association won’t even work with her anymore, not after she killed underlings for failing her so-called genius plans.”
Murmurs broke out in the crowd. Truthfully, Brightwind didn’t know for sure if she had been blacklisted, but judging by how many hapless henchmen had been chucked from building during their fight, it wasn’t a stretch.
“Is that what happened to Brian?”
“She has been working solo a lot more lately...”
“Why did we allow a henchman union anyways...”
The last mutter was met with glares, and the villain who spoke sank awkwardly back into the crowd.
“Point is, if you want to figure out who’s going to rule, you better do it now, before she grabs all the power for herself.” Brightwind interrupted.
“And how do you know that’s going to happen?” Dragonfly sneered. The buzzing of her wings was so irritating that Brightwind didn’t even need to fake her grimace. It was totally the wings. Not any underlying emotions or anything. That would be stupid.
“When was the last time you heard from my team?” she snapped. “Turns out paragons fall more than anyone would like.”
“Shadow’s Bane tried to take over?!” gasped a tiny villian. She was dressed in pink and holding a hammer that would give any OSCHA inspector a nightmare.
“You two broke up?!” Earthshaker was staring at her, dumbfounded. Brightwind considered (briefly) if bleeding out was a more dignified option. “But you two were a power couple!”
“Let’s not lose the point. We were going to kill her, right?” Bladereign lifted her massive sword, but Dragonfly lifted her laser gun.
“Uh, uh. How are you planning on distributing the power?” she snapped, landing on a lamppost. Brightwind let out a sigh of relief at the silence.
Bladereign blinked. Once. Twice. “Um...fairly? You all can have...downtown?”
Shouts of protest broke out immediately.
“Well I think I should be leader!” Earthshaker broke in. “I’ve got the most firepower!”
“Oh yeah, I’ve always wanted to rule a pile of collapsed buildings. Sounds real ideal.” the tiny villain sniped.
More arguments broke out, words blurring together in Brightwind’s ears. It would be a cacophony even without the internal bleeding. She shifted, wincing as warmth oozed from the gashes in her calves. Okay, internal and external.
At the slightest of movements, Bladereign whirled on her with a snarl. “You. You stole my victory!”
Brightwind shook her head, slumping back into the rubble. “You did that for yourself the second you decided to make a team.” she snapped. “You should thank me for ending it early, before one of them could drive a knife into your back.”
Bladereign lifted her sword with a harsh shake of her head, done with wasting time.
“Well, it isn’t a knife, but I’m sure it’ll be welcome enough.”
Cool expanse opened at Brightwind’s back, arms wrapping firmly around her waist. Relief flooded through her, so sudden and bright that she almost wept. Instead, she wrapped her arms around the ones at her waist, squeezing them softly in thanks.
A sheaf of brown hair covered half of her vision as Snapstep leaned from his portal, sneering at the villain above them.
“Vanessa! You’re as lovely as ever.”
“I’LL KILL YOU!” she screamed, swinging down.
With a quick kick-off, Snapstep lurched Brightwind down, down, deep into the depths of his teleportation void.
“You’ve got bigger problems than me, darlin!”
The last thing Brightwind saw was a fist colliding with Bladereign’s horned helmet, knocking her away.
The hole above them closed with a cool rush of air, and Brightwind finally felt her body slump. Silence closed around them as they fell, softly, towards the tiny pinprick of light in the distance. As it grew bigger, Brightwind could make out the familiar shapes of an unmade bed and crowded hamper. Snapstep was always awful at keeping his place clean.
“Didn’t I tell you to stop bleeding all over your costume?” he spoke up.
Brightwind grunted, leaning back into his arms. Frowning, he shifted her to better support her back. “Easy there, champ. We’ll get you patched up and ready for damage control by the time the villains stop their tantrum.”
Brightwind nodded. Her mind was starting to grow hazy, and she shifted further into his arms, just as they landed in the dingy little apartment.
“Why’d you help me?” she murmured. “Why...”
A hand ruffled her hair, coupled with an amused snort. “You told us to break apart, after Shadow’s Bane went rogue. Said to never team up again, that it was an order.”
Brightwind squinted at him as he crossed the room, grabbing a first aid kit.
“You know that’s the opposite of answering me, right?”
“Dummy.” he flicked her forehead. “Because, Allison, you’re not my leader anymore. I don’t have to listen to a word you say.”
Prompt #3468
"Yeah yeah yeah, you teamed up and took over the city. Great job, [villains], truly." Their eyes gleamed, Eris about to unleash the golden apple. "But which of you is going to rule it?"

leftover from the topic of domestic abuse and the Hobgoblin storyline: Ned Leeds was kind of subject to a similar situational villainization, but because he was kind of presented as just a completely normal man beforehand and was offed so dramatically soon after that nobody's defending him from editorial. There was so little anyone considered worth "saving" I feel that now that's kind of become his defining plot beat
#unrelated to comics thoughts but#the one thing the MCU could do which might get me to sit through another movie would be hobgoblin arc Ned#[MUST be villain I've had enough superpowered friend teamups. try to kill each other again]

CRASHES IN WINDOW LIKE A LUNATIC:
Janja x Makucha
CRASHES OUT WINDOW LIKE A LUNATIC:
#the lion guard#the lion guard janja#the lion guard makucha#the lion king#gay shit#I mainly ship this out of pettiness because THEY SHOULD'VE MET IN CANON.#Either as rivals or for a one-off teamup or having Makucha join Scar's army#their personalities are very similar and yet contrast so much that whether as villains or redeemed they would just click#Not to mention I love the idea of Shenzi having a leopard-in-law#Plus personally I think Makucha x Chuluun is boring#And Janja x Jasiri is cute but I can't forget that he tried to burn her and her kids and was easily forgiven by everyone#If you ship either of those nothing against you but Janja x Makucha is an OTP and I will forever spread Jakucha propoganda. until my death

I wish they were villains together.
Have I mentioned my "Villain Teamup" AU where Cassandra returned to Corona and met up with Varian and Andrew, who had recently broken out of prison, and later recruited Lady Caine?
I still need to do more art for it, and an actual fic.

been reading a lot of clive barker recently and find him to be incredibly whimsical, life-affirming, and wondrous so I decided to read his ya series "abarat" which as it turns out isn't finished, so we're waiting at a point of utter despair for the most part, rip to the kids (that being said I do wish I'd known of it when I was a kid, no matter how frustrated by the wait I might have been)
anyway, do think I will write a little fanfic that nobody is going to read of christopher carrion and finnegan hob working through their mutual realisation that they were both being used by princess boa (meanwhile she's shooting finger guns at them, love her, love how she fucked up not one but two incredibly powerful silly boys, love that she just loves being bad, it appears to be her whole raison d`etre), and then they make out or smthin, unclear
#abarat#clive barker#carrion and hob have barely met like... once#as in they were both so down to fight in one scene but they never did and then the leads were all whisked away#but carrion and hob 1. sounds great together (carrion and hob - perfect teamup) 2. both have surprisingly similar ideas on romance#3. both are related to the theme of night and day should get together to solve the problems of the realm#(which was poisoned by boa's abuse of the trust of the people + her manipulation of them both)#4. both sad boys -- hob being a sad pretty boy and carrion being a sad goth#5. ofc the fact that hob starts out as the Hero capital H and carrion starts out the Villain capital V#before that gets poked at and dismantled#im just saying i think they have a lot in common - they're foils who never foiled - they were manipulated by the same evil being -#they're both Romantics#they're both flamboyant af#yes yes carrion was a very bad man for awhile but he's getting better... he's had a tough life he's working on himself#CMON barker carrion and hob i am projecting it to you wherever you are#youve got two books left to make it happen!

Febuwhump day 24: Bloody Clothes
“Ugh, I can feel you bleeding all over me.”
Hero was focused on moving. Their body ached, every bruise and cut pulsing with pain. They could feel their wounds bleeding slowly, no doubt staining their already ruined uniform. They were running on empty, not having had a decent meal since their capture nearly two weeks ago. But they needed to keep moving. They couldn’t let either of them be captured.
“I mean, yeah, I know how to get blood outta my suit. You kinda have to know that if you’re a villain. But still, it’s super—Hey, are you even listening to me?”
Hero hadn’t expected their rescue to come in the form of their nemesis. When they’d seen Villain, dressed in a guard uniform alongside Super Villain’s other goons, they’d thought their nemesis had come to mock them. They hadn’t expected Villain to sneak into their cell in the dead of night, guards lying unconscious at the entrance, grinning with that mischievous smirk of theirs.
And now they were stumbling through the dark, Hero wrapping their arm over Villain’s shoulder for support.
It took Hero a long moment to realize Villain had asked them a question. “What?”
“Gasp!” Villain literally gasped the word, clutching their chest like an insulted noble. “You weren’t listening! How could you treat your nemesis like this!?”
Hero wanted to ask Villain the very same thing, but they didn’t. “Very easily apparently,” they grumbled instead.
They walked in silence for a while. Or at least, as silent as things ever were with Villain. Villain seemed incapable of allowing the quiet to stretch on for long, occasionally bringing some inane topic up to break the silence. It was annoying, but the annoyance was better than the terror Hero felt at the thought of recapture. It was better than listening to their heart pound in their ears.
Hero felt themself stumble, only barely stopping themselves from collapsing. Beside them, they felt Villain stumble forward as well, dragged down by Hero’s weight. They refocused on moving forward.
“Hey, don’t pass out on me. I’m not gonna carry you.” Villain said, shifting their hold on Hero’s side.
Hero decided not to mention that Villain practically was already. Hero was only standing by Villain's support, their legs too weak to hold their weight. Their captivity left them exhausted, each step draining what little energy they had left. They could feel how Villain's muscles were straining, heart pounding as they forced the two of them forward. And yet, for all their whining, Villain didn't abandon them.
Hero decided not to mention that either. "Yeah, as if you could carry me," they snarked instead.
Villain huffed, but kept walking.
#this like barely fits the prompt but i really wanted to write it so#i just really like hero villain teamups#hero#villain#good hero#rescue#febuwhump#SOMEONE'S BLEEDING ON CLOTHING IT COUNTS#Febuwhump day 24

Questions the only charlton character I dont want to be a villain ever because I hate villain Question everybody else is basically always 2 seconds away from being somebodys bad guy
#Maybe also Nightshade but I think Nightshade could be a evil girlboss.#I dont know why all the charlton characters are such assholes its really funny#Captain Atom should be a SYMPATHETIC villain that gets redeemed but hes still bad guy material#Ted in JLI has some kind of problem that makes him prone to trying to become a rich supervillain by accident#If the charlton characters ever get a teamup comic I think there should be a issue where they all get really into crypto and Vic has to-#-talk them out of it. Thanks !

Prompt #3509
"I am not wearing a collar for you."
"Oh, so pretending to be my pet hero was fine, but a collar is too much?" Their nemesis rolled their eyes. "Come on, [hero]. Just put it on already."
"It's an inhibitor collar," they snapped. "There's no 'just' about it."

I didn't mention it before but during the MLA Arc I actually came up with another fanfiction idea. Namely that after AfO's arrest, a series of coincidences and odd circumstances results in Class 1-A and the League of Villains repeatedly having to team up against other threats, such as the Shie Hassaikai, Nine's crew, the Meta Liberation Army, Humarise and other original threats. During this time, the two groups get to know each other and they form bonds together. What the League thinks is happening is that they are corrupting the kids and turning them to villainy. What's actually happening is the League is slowly going through a redemption arc and nobody involved realizes until it's too late.
Some highlights include:
Class 1-A/League of Villains weekly gaming tournaments
Twice and Aoyama immediately vibing
Toga getting therapy, and dating Izuku and Ochako (both out of love for them and spite for her bi-phobic parents)
Dabi and Shoto's horrendously awkward relationship
Kurogiri and Aizawa's horrendously awkward relationship
Toga and Mineta's surprisingly decent relationship
Mineta and Bakugo changing for the better because of their weird friendships
Magne not getting a bullshit death, and instead getting to meme on Overhaul and be the cool big sis to all the baby gays around her
Spinner being friends with all the heteromorph kids (Koda, Shoji, Tokoyami, etc)
Iida hating every minute of their teamups until he and Shigaraki start dunking on Stain together.
All Might, Aizawa, Kurogiri and Mr. Compress co-parenting 27 children
Everyone lowkey wanting Inko to be their mom
Everyone giving Endeavor the exact amount of respect he deserves (0)
And finally, Shigaraki getting a chance to fulfill his dream and want to be a hero once again.

continuing my DP, Wolverine, Spidey teamup movie ideas I live for a situation where Spiderman offhandedly mentions he is going through this subplot in his own 'verse where he has this really evil villain. Like this is a vile, inhuman, violent fcker with no regard for life, no hope of seeing the light, just a downright scumbag fascist.
We see it's weighing on him because Spiderman always strives to help "villains" who have lost their way or at least lead them to redemption if possible, but in this situation it's just... impossible. There is only continued violence in the face of which an impotent Peter always fails make a difference. Spiderman - hero or menace? Deep down he feels like he has blood on his hands because he doesn't have the "guts" to do what it takes.
But we know, since he's PG-13, Spiderman can't ever actually technically unalive villains himself. So he's just being tormented by this ahole for longer than anyone can imagine, and the Villain himself knows he can't die - bc of the moral & writerly strictures on Peter - which just emboldens said Villain further to do more and more heinous shit. This, of course, just destroys Peter who we know has lost so many people and carries a heavy guilt complex. He knows he can never actually stop the Villain good.
So at one point we have Wade, bedecked in the completely ill-fitting Spiderman costume that he lifted off screen, looking significantly more sinister than usual, striding into said Villain's lair and lethally taking out every goon with next to no effort. It looks jarring because he has none of Spidey's grace and fluid aerobatics, just some cold hard heat.
And upon seeing "Spiderman" again the Villain is delighted, ready for another twisted moustache-twirly convo in which he can destroy Peter's self-esteem but before he can pop off with his Mocking Villainous Monologue, Wade just lays into him with every weapon in the book, leaving him a bleeding husk in his chair.
That's all she wrote.
Meanwhile, there's some serious shit going down and Peter cannot find his Spiderman suit so has to resort to throwing on Deadpool's too-big costume - he's like hurling about it ("Does he ever wash this!?"), but swings into action with the katanas on his back (falling and slipping several times because of the strange weight distribution) - rounding up a few DP villains with a lot more Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman than Merc with a Mouth.
Everyone's like wtf because he's doing acrobatics and looks absolutely possessed in the too-big suit. And they're just generally so afraid by the appearance of it and what they perceive to be Wade's new skills they just lay down their weapons peacefully, shaking in fear.
Meanwhile Peter is trying to impersonate Wade while talking to them and they're all soooo confused. The costume looks like a creepy, deflating balloon on Peter. Okay whatever you do just don't hurt us, Deadpool! Meanwhile Peter is like, What? Why would I hurt you? And they're all getting more and more terrified by the second lmao, volunteering for community service, screaming and promising to donate all their spoils to the poor, throwing money at him.
So in the end it results in some really good press for both of them and a moment of Justin Timberlake "Mirror" realization when Wade walks in wearing the Spiderman suit covered in like 6 gallons of blood and Peter walks in wearing the DP suit carrying like 12 bouquets of flowers and covered in kiss marks from the thankful public.
Then Wolverine comes in from a completely unrelated errand and the music stops and he's like, ??? and Peter starts to explain everything and Wolvie just stands there arms crossed listening with the most disgruntled expression. And when Peter is done Wolvie is like - Not surprised, I could never tell you apart anyway.
And we find out he could never tell the difference between the two of them while they're in their suits in the first place. Peter and Wade are sooo offended, they're like we sound totally different and we are completely different heights! We've been on like 5 missions together!
and Logan is just like, studying them, we can see from the shot they look totally different. Peter is shook, "Well?"
Logan's squinting at them, no recognition, and then rolls his eyes, grunting,
"Whatever, Murdock. I need a beer."
