It's quiet underneath a car. Plenty of opportunity for thoughts. Thoughts about how the two people you care most about turn into wolves every thirty days or so. Those are scary thoughts though, so he just makes it not quite so quiet. "God, what have ya done! You're a pink pony girl and you dance at the club!" He sings, quietly, breaking the quiet in the pit of Palmers' autoshop. Those thoughts are scary and uncomfortable, and he has to focus because this isn't his car he's under. He breaks the tension on the bolt and unscrews it to let it start spitting its darkened contents into the pan, ducking under and poking his head up out of the pit. Vic's there. He feels his face uncontrollably force a surprised expression that says 'hi' as much as it says 'don't mind me I can't stand quiet'. "Oh Hey, Vic? Save me a trip up and toss me the filter?" He asks, nodding to where he's left it nearby.

Clark went back to the ground when Eli’s phone cracked and he started bleeding, looking at it as he spoke to make sure there wasn’t any glass in the wound. “I am, it’s just like I said in the interviews. I came here from a dying planet, I was just a baby and the Kent’s found me and my cousin and raised us. When I was a teenager and first became known as The Blur here in Smallville.”

“Someone decided that they should try and clone me, General Lane says they tried with three IVF patients and your grandmother was the only one who carried to term.” He wasn’t sure what about her allowed her to carry to term, but there was reports of them testing his ability to observe sunlight as an infant and finding his cells reacted like normal human to it.

Eli shook his head. He didn’t want to believe it, but everything in Clark Kent’s face was identical to his father’s, down to the specific colors in his eyes. Identical twins, he wanted to say, but then Mr Kent wouldn’t be-

“Let’s say I believe you,” Eli threw his arms up to the sides, a half-willing shrug. He laughed in disbelief. “He’s already dead, okay? So no one can do anything about it, and I’m just here. Okay? I’m not doing anything!”

The body they'd fished out of god-knows where stank through the bag, which was always a good sign and a pleasant start to the evening shift, but when Tressa undoes the seal and unzips the closure she recoils, not because of repulsion - she's long beaten that reflex out of herself. It's because of what's left of the face, dessicated and yet still somehow finding away to be fouled by putrefaction, but not enough to erase the memory; Cordelia had informed her it was only by the grace of forethought that she had escaped that Masquerade with memories in tact, and that she had best play dumb to the best of her ability following the bloody finale of the monster's ball for her own safety.

But how the dead Vampire Hunter's corpse had survived long enough to be dredged up and make it's way across her slab was a testiment to the resilience of these monster hunters, even in death. She stands there for a moment, staring at death's display in front of her, vaporlocked into silence because she knows this 'John Doe' even though she shouldn't. Her first reflex is to call Cordelia - to let her know that a sensitive case has come through - but then she realizes she might need to explain to other Vampires, who aren't as friendly, why she knows anything at all. So instead, she gets to work. Cataloguing. Documenting. Filing. But when her boss makes a rare midnight showing, she is taken aback.

"You can take the night off, Miss Shaw." "Doctor Shaw," she corrects "Doctor... Shaw. You can leave, I'll handle this case."

"All due respect, sir-" "I'm pulling rank, Tressa, I don't expect I'll be forced to pull harder?" "...Yes sir." Her blood is boiling as she leaves the special suite. As if he's ever shown this level of interest. It's not lost on her, especially now, that his interest in night cases has only grown since Siltshore.

It's still boiling the next day, and so she decides to check the report herself.

Only it's not there. Neither is the body. Neither are her own personal notes.

Tressa sinks into her seat, scours her computer a second, a third time.

Even the Siltshore reports were gone.

"What the fuck." She thinks to herself, and her eyes go to her phone, now in her hand as she thumbs through her contacts, where her finger falls on Cordelia's name...

Natasha Irons

Not gonna say she's like my favorite or anything but it be cool to use her more in stories. Also, not all that intrested when people but on a iron suit (expect when iron man did that along his friends/family and RiRi Williams Ironheart Marvel Movie version)

DC comics Nastasha she's Steel II, John Henry (Steel I) was the first one.

Teams:

The Authority is a team secretly assembled by Superman when he started losing his powers. Their purpose was to assault the planet Warworld and free it and its population from Mongul's tyranny.(prime earth)

Infinity Inc. For a short issue series this is a comic run I liked with her. The one were she gets powers hero names was Vaporlock & Starlight. (new earth)

Titans It really didn't feel like she was apart of the team just there. Like damn use her for something even cyborg did more. (prime earth)

I love how they invole her family in this and Natasha & John bump heads because the clash of ideals but, they still love each other. I need for them to figure out a way for Natasha to be out of his shadow if they do it for Robin/Nightwing they can do it for Natasha

Love intrests: She's had about two Traci Thirteen (didn't last long) & some guy that's a daxamite from planet Daxam (sister planet to Krypton).

Natasha's job hunt was funny as hell

When Justice League was pitched to the Kids' WB network, the lineup originally included three young members as protégés for the Justice League: Robin, Impulse, and an original character described as a teenage female version of Cyborg named Natasha Irons / Cyborgirl.

She had another verison I think were in Superman & Lois she Natalie Irons john and lois lane's daughter from another earth. She was okay character.

Elseworld stories:

Injustice: comic book run not game. After what the joker did to metroploplics it felt like Natasha truly picked up the mantle of Steel.

Gotham City Garage: Fun run with motorcycles but, should have bit of a bigger role.

(ID : Liz in a salmon button down as Lia the reporter taking notes and interviewing Kim, the pig guy, in his trailor which is not colored in but has a vaporlocke refrigerator and also the bear fridge I guess, and a sink, microwave, and window. Kim is in a reverand outfit, black collared shirt and white priest collar, and he’s holding a cigarette between his first two fingers, close to his chest. Liz is shocked by what she's hearing, and Kim looks kind of saccerine.)

My take is that he probably thinks of narcissism as the "I'm So Awesome" disease, and always has been so full of self-loathing that his brain just vaporlocked for a minute. All of his tech brilliance and verbal peacocking is his way of trying to prove value and hide what he thinks of as his true self (thanks dad!)

so I was watching the behind the scenes thing for Drawtectives Season 2 and my roommate came into my room and sat down to talk to me, and politely asked me what I was watching- he was worried I was watching it live and that he was interrupting something.

and I nearly crawled under the desk and hissed at him because I couldn't words to explain what I was watching. just completely vaporlocked on it. I think I managed to convey that it wasn't live but I'm not entirely certain.

for some clarity-

I expected him to come and chat at some point, we hung out and chatted a lot yesterday, too. he didn't surprise me.

my bedroom door was open, which means I'm up for company- I shut my door if I don't want to be bothered.

thereafter we had a perfectly fine and pleasant conversation that ended up talking about a kickstarter he funded like ten years ago which still hasn't been fulfilled

I wasn't embarrassed by what I was watching??? which probably a lot of people might think but a behind the scenes thing is normal-ass shit, even if the show is somewhat niche

the number of browser tabs I had open (and still do!) was much more embarrassing, potentially

(I'm not really embarrassed about that, either, tbh. though I did get to explain to him about autotab discard and how that worked- great browser extension!)

it was a question I was just entirely unprepared to answer in that I had no idea how to make the words into an explanation that would make sense in an amount of time I considered reasonable! it was an extremely silly problem to have!

fortunately he's lived with me for 3 or 4 years now and we've been friends for like 16 or so years, so he's entirely used to the fact that I have the social skills of a semi-feral cat and it's no big deal, but it was just such a goofy moment I had to talk about it.
