ok ok so, its a very simple swap au as i've said and im gonna be shooo honest with youo, its ciel x ichika, i like the ship i think they are cute together SO ITS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT ANYWAYS THIS IS GOING TO BE KINDA LONG

In this au, ichika is a fairy from strawberry mountain, and goes off to paris to learn about sweet making like ciel in the og, however unlike ciel, she goes alone and does learn from jean pierre and gets shot into the lime light, but the thing is that she kinda feels like somethings missing.

yeah she makes a lot of kiraru with her technique alone and her passion for sweets making but it feels a lil.. empty, she is a very lonely girl and at the beginning very clumsy [its still ichika cmon dsfjn vg] so she kinda also has this like BIG imposter syndrome thing going on, she masks it well enough for PR and what not but shes kinda worried that this all is just a big stroke of luck and some day shes going to inevitably fail.

I will say i do have kind of a storyline in mind so bear with me dfkjbnjkdf.

Anyways, she goes on her life in paris as Uzuki Ichika: Prodigy Patissiere [am still making the au so bear with me for there will be changes here n there] and nothing more, UNTIL, she runs into Usami Satomi [aka Ichika's mom in the og storyline] and they talk, and she learns that Satomi is a doctor and lives in strawberry mountain and all that stuff and shes in paris temporarily as part of her job, and i want them SOMEHOW i've yet to really think about all the details to develop a sorta soft ish guardian&kid relationship like, thats not ur kid but might as well be type thing.

ANYWAYS, after enough time [yet to be determined] i feel like ichika starts confiding in Satomi alot of the feelings she has going on and Satomi brings up the idea of taking a break and going back to like her home town, and Ichika does agree and all [BUT I WANT SOME REALISM HERE RIGHT not too much tho we still have fun,] but does bring up the fact that she probably wont have a place to stay if she does so [excuses cus she could very much so stay with the fairies] and CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG but a long time ago i did read something about how if you know like, a family in a country well enough they can like take u in for some time? like Adopt you so tospeak AGAIN I MIGHTVE HALLUCINATED THIS but if not yeah, THATS what happens.

So shes staying with the Usami's! yay! well just the dad cus Satomi does have to travel cus of her job n what not, and goes back to strawberry mountain to hopefully clear her head and maybe remember why she did all of this in the first place.

THATS THAT ON ICHIKA, which im going to be sho honest with you, shes the one i've like thought abt the most, mainly cus i like making the pink cures depressed kdsnbjkfdb BUT ALSO because shes in SUCH a situation and i find that inchresting.

I WILL ALSO SAY, im not swapping everyone, just ciel n ichika, mainly cus i find making ichika a fairy and ciel a cringe fail amateur patissiere very fun and inchresting BUT I DIGRESS.

NOW, AS FOR CIEL, shes a normal girl that has just moved into strawberry mountain, ysee, she is originally from strawberry mountain but moved out at some point in her life and decided to sort of move back in to take care of her grandmother who still recides in there, Rio also came along with her cus I LOVE MY SIBLING DYNAMICS OK.

SPEAKING OF, the way i see their dynamic is that they are very close and yes they stil have their shared interest in sweets and what not but ciel is more of a What happens if I double the amount of batter type interest and Rio is more of a Watches 3 bilion youtube videos on alot of recepies that he sometimes asks ciel if they can try out. Which ofcousre has a very diverse rate of success kdjfhbjbk.

They have the Passion and all the Feelings into it but Not alot of technical skill, I do think they meet Pekorin the same way Ichika met Pekorin in the og story, AND I DO WANT TO MAKE RIO A CURE, HE WILL BE A CURE I WILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

OH speaking of, i did kinda change Ichikas and Ciel's cure names, Ichika is now Cure Meringue and Ciel is now Cure Velvet.

AND THATS PRETTY MUCH WHAT I HAVE LIEK SOLIDIFIED AS OF RN!!!

I do have some liek spare thoughts here and there like, Ichika and Pekorin Have a sybling dynamic slash are actual sisters and at somepoint i want ichika to get stained in shadow maybe same with Rio but i have yet to figure out a cohesive storyline for that, BUT I WILL FIGURE IT OUTTTTT!!!

Also do NOT spoil me shit, I have NOT finished Kirakira Precure as of rn, IM CLOSE BUT NOT THERE YET.

The Bow Hall’s Butterfly －Spring Snow－

Spring Snow

I have such an extreme emotional attachment to this show, I felt like it must have been fate.

I love this show... A lot of people have said so, everyone became completely immersed in that world.

The fans→”Rio as Kiyoaki was the perfect fit.”

The underclassmen→”Sayumi was Kiyoaki himself.”

I’m still honored with such words even today.

But, but, Matsugae Kiyoaki was one of many high school boys in that era, having said that,

He was absurdly twisted, being told that he suits me was a very... iffy sort of happiness.

The story's opening as well as final song, “The Sea of Fertility”.

That chorus provided Kiyoaki with many different things.

Everyone singing together, it’s like the world of Spring Snow expands like it’s billowing.

Listening to everyone sing the chorus, than entering on stage between the gaps in the waves,

But depending on the day, depending on the performance, that voice leaping right in or the scenery was different...

When I was able to see Toshi-chan’s (Uzuki Hayate) strong, quiet eyes that wouldn’t falter.

When I would experience Sachika’s (Shirayuki Sachika) overwhelmingly passionate presence.

When I would be enveloped by Maai’s (Maai Suzuka) incredible kindness.

And so on... The me whos’ sensitivity was at MAX,

Would be moved to tears by everyone’s voices...

The lines, the songs, everyone’s voices conveying the feelings of everything through those.

I’ve rambled my way writing to this point but...

This is about a certain butterfly.

During performances, an underclassman told me that

She found a blue butterfly sticky-note that matched the one that appeared on the poster perfectly, and gave it to me as a present.

Then the next day, a different girl said, “I also found one,” and brought it to me, thus I had 2.

The two butterflies, occasionally they would be perched in my shoe box,

Or a different day, they would be perched on the costume department,

Someone’s playfulness, it really healed me.

And then senshuuraku.

It was so sad seeing those curtains of the Bow Hall I love so much fall,

As a memento of sort, I place one butterfly on the upper part of a wall in the quick change place

And the other one went with me to Seinenkan.

Some years later,

During Ryo-chan’s (Tamaki Ryou) lead,

She messaged me,

“That butterfly, it’s still in Bow Hall!!”

...What, no way. Just a sticky-note?

It’s been so long since then,

And other troupes had performances there?

And it wouldn’t be crazy to think that

The rehearsal room ladies threw it out during cleaning......

So, I went to look with my own two eyes.

There it was.                       

This is that image from that time.

Then I felt tears coming on.

This one butterfly fluttering there all this time...

It was actually by a mini electric fan,

So from time to time it looked like it was actually alive.

There wasn’t anything but a strip of glue on it.

I left that butterfly as it was

And went home.

I wanted those Bow Hall leads and underclassmen,

going forward to continue looking over that butterfly there.

That one other butterfly I brought with me to Seinenkan...

It’s in a wooden compact box, where I’m still quietly looking over it.

“Smile and Treat”

La temporada había llegado y uno de los eventos que habían decidido hacer la compañía era un pequeño festival para promocionar lo que se vendría en un futuro. Por supuesto, no desaprovecharon la oportunidad y los adornos se encontraban con la temática de la Noche de Brujas. Cada una se encontraba con una tarea en específica y en cuanto a Uzuki, era el de entregar panfletos para el concierto de invierno.

La calle se encontraba muy linda a sus ojos, a pesar de ser de esa temática. Observó como sus compañeras reían mientras jugaban con sus disfraces y ella no podía hacer más que corresponder con una sonrisa mientras seguía en su labor.

El traje que llevaba quizás no combinaba tal cual con la ocasión, Mio lo había descrito más como algo “adorable pero típico de ella” que “aterrador” (aunque muchos de ahí no tenían ni pizca de ello), pero era perfecto para la tarea que se le había encargado y cada vez que entregaba un folleto, sonreía como si de una maid se tratase. No fue de extrañar que eso atrajese a alguno que otro fan al lugar mientras aceptaban lo que la castaña les daba, así como uno que otro que aprovechó para acercarse a ellas.

—Lo siento, tengo que terminar de entregar todo esto —respondió Uzuki de la forma más amable como pudo al rechazar una invitación de un chico quien deseaba ofrecerle algo.

—Solo será menos de media hora —insistió—. Sería genial salir con una chica adorable.

Uzuki simplemente rio nerviosa, incluso agradeció por ello, pero definitivamente no podía aceptar tan fácilmente.

—A–ah, iré a pedir permiso.

Fue lo único que se le ocurrió antes de darse media vuelta y esperando a tener una negativa mientras había dejado a aquel chico esperándola a su regreso.

Rascal Hits College in Voice PV for Seishun Buta Yaro Volume 10

  High school is over, but "puberty syndrome" rages on in the 10th volume of the Seishun Buta Yaro light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keeji Mizoguchi in which teenagers encounter strange phenomena associated with adolescence, and to celebrate the release of the new book, the anime voice cast has reunited for a special preview video. The voice cast for the video includes:

  Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa.

Asami Seto as Mai Sakurajima.

Nao Tōyama as Tomoe Koga.

Atsumi Tanezaki as Rio Futaba.

Maaya Uchida as Nodoka Toyohama.

Yurika Kubo as Kaede Azusagawa.

Inori Minase as Shoko Makinohara.

    The latest entry features Sakuta and company becoming university students, but their peaceful college days are disrupted by the arrival of Uzuki Hirokawa, the lead singer of the idol group "Sweet Barrett", who seems to have undergone a personality change brought on by "puberty syndrome".

  The 10th volume of the series is entitled Seishun Buta Yaro wa Mayoeru Singer no Yume wo Minai ("Rascal Doesn't Dream of a Stray Singer"), and it will be released in Japan by KADOKAWA under their ASCII Media Works imprint on February 07, 2020.

Ch03:  Bow Hall Performance - Haru no Yuki (Part 1)

“Haru no Yuki” (Spring Snow)

This one is very special to me.  It’s as if I was destined to perform it. I absolutely love this play…the people involved, how we all got immersed in the worldview.

Random Fans:  “Kiyoaki was just the perfect role for you.” Underclassmen:  “Sayumi-san IS Kiyoaki!”

To this day, I feel undeservedly blessed with actor’s luck [for this opportunity].

BUT, but… Matsugae Kiyoaki-kun, despite being a high school boy from that [historical] period, is such a horrendously twisted character.  In a strange way, I’m happy when I’m told he suited me so well.

During the story’s opening and closing song “Hojo no Umi” (1), while the chorus is giving Kiyoaki-kun various things, everyone’s voices just swelled up together and brought the world of “Haru no Yuki” to life.

As usual, I would take my cue from the chorus to appear on stage.  But our voices and the scenery would come out differently with every performance…

Seeing Toshi-chan’s (Uzuki Hayate) quiet and unwavering strength with my own eyes… Experiencing Sachika’s (Shirayuki Sachika) overflowing passion firsthand… Being enveloped by Maai’s (Maai Suzuka) endless affections…

And so on…I was at my most emotional back then and everyone’s voices simply moved me to tears…

The script, the songs, all those memories we made together…simply everything.  If I go on, I’ll risk singing my own praises.

(1)  Hojo no Umi (The Sea of Fertility) is also the title of Yukio Mishima’s tetralogy, in which Haru no Yuki is the first novel.

Translator’s Note Fangirl Talk: Dude, I love how Mirio just takes pride in her title as Fuck Boy Supreme. Like she knows she’s The King of dysfunctional-playboy-asshole characters and loves it.

But seriously speaking, this journal entry is simply so sweet.  Clearly, this performance is very important to her.

Never read any of “Hojo no Umi” & honestly it sounds like a dark and heavy read that is right up my alley but the Japanese reading level is probably far beyond me right now.  But from what I can understand of Takarazuka’s rendition of “Haru no Yuki,” it’s a really good and deep story.  And Mirio IS Kiyoaki indeed.  It truly is one of her defining performances.  Love it!!

Also, can’t help but suspect the minor masochist streak might or might not have started here w/ that one hell of a Beating from a pool cue but this is too pure a post to be talking about that lol

I think they should adapt all 4 books as a stage play or mini-series/anthology and cast Mirio as the lead. It could be a great acting challenge, kind of like how the actors from “American Horror” play different characters per season.  She would need to portray 4 very different people who are, at the core, also strikingly similar.  But then we would need to fetch Tamakichi to reprise her role as Honda and both Top Stars are a tad busy being Top Stars and all.  But if it ever happened, I would watch it.  Then I would buy the box set and watch it some more.

The cover has a few marks from me loving it so, but the pages and everything else is pretty much in A+ condition.

Mainly focusing on yukigumi’s 2007 version of said musical, contains tons of pictures from stage, backstage, Mizu, Tonami and Yumiko’s trip to Vienna, interviews, costume details… As well as many gorgeous pages of tsukigumi’s 2005 version, costume etc comparisons to every zuka production up to date (that was indeed 2007 back then), also a nice and tiny glimpse of the Vienna production. Over 100 pages of this gloriousness, what a dream mook.

Ayaka Ohashi Joins New Idol Anime Project SHINE POST as "Absolute Idol" Hotaru

    The official website for Konami Digital Entertainment's new idol-themed project SHINE POST announced on January 6 that Ayaka Ohashi (Uzuki Shimamura in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls) is cast as Hotaru, who is called an "Absolute Idol" and is the number one character in terms of both popularity and ability. All the idols, including the main unit of the project, TiNgS, have her as their goal and aim.

    Comments from Ayaka Ohashi:

  Q1: What is your impression of this project?

  I think this is a very interesting project, because it has a lot of mixed-media development and the passion of the production staff is so high. There have been a lot of idol-themed contents out there, but I'm very excited to see new elements.

  Q2: What do you think of the character you play and how enthusiastic are you about the role?

  I feel very pressured because she is an "Absolute Idol." And she is a girl who has performed solo, not as a member of a unit. I love idols and I have very strong feelings towards them. I'll do my best to bring out the charm of Hotaru-chan, who is somewhat out of this world...!

      The SHINE POST project based on the novel series written by Rakuda (ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me?) was launched in October 2021. It has been confirmed that the project will include games, manga, music, live concerts, and a TV anime to premiere in Japan in the summer of 2022. Kei Oikawa (Umamusume Pretty Derby) serves as director, Yoshihiro Nagata (Macross Delta animation director) designs the anime characters, and KAI (Super Cub) works on anime production. Yohei Kisara, best known for his works for the Love Live! series, will be the music producer for the project.

  "SHINE POST" synopsis:

  The idol unit "TiNgS" has big dreams, but only small achievements, and is not very popular. The best manager in the world was supposed to be their savior, but... "I'm not interested in being your manager." The man who shows up is Naose Hinaki, a man with no motivation. However, he has a special power...? This is a story of you and the girls shining brightly to become "absolute idols." The best idol entertainment begins here!
