uriel, last time i checked, is known as the master of knowledge and archangel of wisdom

the perseverance soul is usually paired with stuff related to books and whatnot which can be seen all the way back in their section in the photoshop flowey fight, further supporting the knowledge thing

they're probably a bookworm

the fuck squad will be extra real (Frisk, Uriel, Clover, Kris)

Welcome to the Pools!

It's an area above Waterfall, where all the snow that melts on top of Mt Ebbot drains into and collects before spilling over. Up here, many more monsters thrive in an underwater city, though split in half- this is the upper level. The lower level is below Waterfall, a place that very few land monsters have been to. It's said to be warmer there.

(Undertale Purple is not a real fangame, at least not this version. But if anyone wants to make one (in the style of UTY), I would SO be onboard for that. I have SO many ideas.)

Monster #1: Hayden

Hayden is the main companion of this area

Combined land horses with seahorses

Extreme social anxiety and depression

Main arc would be learning how to persevere despite those things

Monster #2: Mighti Crab

Yeti Crab but with MUSCLES

Will MESS YOU UP

Not really but he does regular at the gym

Rivals-to-friends relationship with Aaron

Offers to be friends with Hayden, but Hayden is too anxious and keeps running away

Monster #3: Dumbo

Based on the dumbo octopus and the elephant

It can fly out of the water

Cutest lil guy you ever did see

Monster #4: Ray

Maths joke

Attacks are all rays (the math term)

Not clear in the pic here but Ray remains straight the whole time

All attacks relate to angles in some way

The Pools are where the Perseverance soul winds up in. It's basically their equivalent of the Snowdin area. There are land monsters up there, but not very many. Once you get into the water, it's mostly aquatic monsters

There is a monster who sells/gives out things that allow land dwellers to breathe underwater, which is how the human even gets down there. They only last for a little bit, though, so you gotta be careful not to stay under for too long. In terms of gameplay, I think this would tie into story beats more than an actual timer.

My version of Perseverance fell on purpose to "research" monsters, so I found it fitting that they're discovering monsters based on deep sea fish- most of which are currently undiscovered.

Here are my first batch of sketches! I apologize if the text is very light or sloppy looking, when I’m drawing I’m not thinking of anyone reading but me lol! Below are text and translations as well as context.

1 + 2.) Simply wanted to draw bara Paps in my style but with daisy dukes, no I’m not going to apologize. (1.) Bara Papyrus aka BEEFCAKE)(2. Hood instead of scarf)(3. Daisy dukes)

3.) Small doodle* Money being a little shit n getting caught stealing Mutts (sf!red paps) cash, I hc Money being very skilled at pickpocketing and being able to get into almost anyone’s pockets without noticing, until recent moments..

4.) Small doodle*anotha one. No im just playin lol but just two swapfell Sans’ minding their business not much to say on this page considering it’s so empty! I do wanna say I used a ref for Maroons jacket cause I couldn’t for the life of me remember how exactly leather looked on paper, references are truly a blessing.

5+6.) Finally! A warm up doodle of Sans that turned into a skelesona spread🌚. In truth I always told myself I would never make one of these because of cringe, but let’s be honest this is a self insert tumblr how much lower can I get😂. All jokes aside I made this in inspiration to @absurdmageart ‘s fic Making a Monster bc that fic is SO GOOD!!!! Probably some of my favorite interpretations of some of the skeletons! Especially the swapfells, I feel like they never get enough love 💔. Anyways,, I decided to keep her with a human soul even though she’s technically a skelesona, I kinda wanted to pay homage to the fic (even though I can’t really remember if Lisa had a human soul or not it’s besides the point). She was obviously very shook when the transformation first took hold, but after a few days you can see she’s adjusting fine(especially when she finds out limbs are detachable and pain free~)(1.First day, Skelesona lmao, “oh god”, “Y’all look what I can do lol”, “Y-you guys?!”) (a lot of the stuff on this spread is just rambles and such so most can go ignored)

Sorry @chaos-relevent but your ask is being split up into two parts because with how much I have plan for your ask. I hope you don’t mind.

Well, yes, he does. But because of the status of his soul, he goes undetected by Flowey when he gets absorbed.

He does try to free up the souls. Which in my AU causes the souls attacks to happen.

You guys know how the act button just kind of appears to call help, right? It doesn’t make a lot of sense since the souls are under Flowey’s control, and Flowey wouldn’t just give Frisk the key to freeing the souls… So in my AU, Chujin is the one giving Frisk the act button’s from inside Flowey. (Since monsters can break the buttons (Asgore) and lock up the buttons (Guardener and Zenith Martlet). I have the headcanon that they can also summon the buttons in fights.)

Which makes the souls wake up and get free from Flowey’s control, and the souls help Frisk by healing them.

So Chujin tries to free the souls, which causes the soul attacks to happen. Because it’s the only way he can reach Frisk to send the act buttons.

After freeing the souls, Frisk gets healed by them, and Chujin helps out Frisk by giving them the fight button so they can win this fight. (The fight button during the fight when Flowey still has his defense is given by Flowey to mock Frisk because they can't do anything. Chujin gives Frisk the fight button when Flowey's defense is dropped. (Because Flowey won't give that to Frisk in that situation.))

Also. Flowey never finds out that Chujin is doing this because he can't detect him. So he doesn't understand why the souls are acting like this.
