So Terushima wanted to play as many interesting games as possible, right?

like he wanted to play against Kakugawa, the 2 meter giant

so his goal was to play against the left ace

but since that didn’t happen he became obsessed with what could have been

so he becomes obsessed with Ushijima

he reads all he can on the ace

He goes to the Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa game to watch

and he realizes he is so gay for the ace after watching him play?!?!

So, being Terushima, he finds Ushijima after the game to get his number

he is charming and flirtatious and friendly (and least he thinks he is)

but Ushijima is so confused???

who is this guy

and why can’t he stop staring at the glinting metal inside his mouth whenever he talks???

Semi is watching form a distance and feels so bad for the stranger hitting on his friend

he decides to intervene

he whispers to his friend that the guy is trying to flirt with him

it takes all of 4 seconds of silence form Ushijima for the ace to flush bright red

he looks to Terushima with an open mouth and asks, “ wait, you are flirting with me?”

Terushima awkwardly laughs and says yes and asks for his number

Ushijima obliges and they part ways shortly after that

Terushima is nearly constantly texting Ushijima after that

and Ushijima responds bluntly, but after he presses send, he often smiles or sighs or once, even let out a small laugh

his teammates are #blessed to see this side of the stoic ace

Ushijima and Teru were childhood friends but Ushijima left for “schooling” back in the fifth grade and he didn’t come back until second year of high school. 

Terushima had kinda forgotten him so it was a bit of a shock when one moment he’s making out with his boyfriend and the next his boyfriend is being knocked to the ground by Mr. Manly AlphaTM. 

Ushijima didn’t really know why he did that but his body just kinda moved on his own. 

He didn’t like how much Teru had changed (hair and the piercings) because it wasn’t how he remembered. He asks Teru to be his partner regardless.

Terushima hated him because who does that??? He also was aware of the rumors by now and knew what the Ushijima family actually was. So he rejects him

Hanzo started tailing Terushima that summer, per Ushi’s orders. 

Terushima started to notice but he thought that like Ushijima had ordered a hit on him or something.

He goes to confront the alpha and says that if he wants to kill him that he should do it to his face like a man. 

Ushijima just asks him out again. 

(its a long process) 

Eventually Teru gives in though on the condition that it won’t be anything serious, just passing the time until graduation

they’re basically a bunch of horny teens all summer and Teru tries to keep it as something that’s just to relieve the sexual tension cuz Ushi is good at dicking and gives into all his kinks

but woops they fell in love ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Teru can get it every day, all day🤤 and the piercings? you bet he is hiding some, for *special occasions*🤭 BoTeru is a fine ship but also UshiTeru is amazing. you'd think Ushi wouldn't be up for it, but i feel like he has a soft spot for wild and loud dudes (like Tendou too). Cj listen I got a lot of Terushima headcannons myself so what do you think about UshiTeru? I think that they would be a dynamic pair because Ushijima is a smarty pants and so is Terushima in school so they could have discussions on intellectual topics. Also! I bet Teru would love joking around with ushijima because he is so literal! P. S. I'm inspired if I can ever conquer drawing Iwaizumi. I will totally have IwaTeru hiking it's one of my favorite activities too. Should I tag you if I post it?

I am very intrigued by UshiTeru! I agree that it would be a really interesting dynamic. I think they would have some discussions that look like they’re getting pretty heated to outsiders, because of Ushijima’s “cold” sort of outward appearance (boy’s got resting bitch face so bad, haha, poor kid!) and they’d go back and forth for so long and love it! Terushima would totally joke around with him and make a ton of pop culture references that Ushijima doesn’t get, lol.

Evening! I’m curious to know when the sheiji story and place to call home comes to an end would you ever think of working on an ushijima/Terushima side story ? Like explaining how they started off to their current status. I know you have a lot on your plate but, I was curious to know if your planning to make more out of this series.

Mmmm well when those stories end I will be shifting more towards my original works ^^ Fanfics will kind of be put on the backburner. As for a side story of the current UshiTeru relationship in APTCH probably not just because I never gave it much thought other than what they are currently. I did have a separate idea for a UshiTeru fic just to give them their own story but honestly idk if I’ll ever do it. What I have thought out would already be like a 10+ chapter fic and that honestly just takes a lot of work DX I appreciate your interest in them though!! Always nice when a rarepair receives love hehe
