Louis Tomlinson has donated a piece of sentimental fabric to community football club Grenfell Athletic's 'Fabric of the Community' project.

The club are creating a kit comprised of cuts of fabric from donated items of clothing that survived the Grenfell fire and celebrities are also donating fabric too.

The emotionally charged football shirt drops on Thursday and features a perimeter area surrounding the club emblem reserved for a bespoke cut of fabric cut from donated items of clothing, including fabrics that survived the Grenfell fire.

In honour of everyone that lost their homes as a result of the devastating fire in June 2017, Louis, 32, has donated his beloved Doncaster Rovers FC shirt.

He said: 'Wherever I am in the world and I have my Doncaster Rovers FC shirt with me, it reminds me of home.

'When I am touring and I see a member of the audience wearing one, I get a real feeling of home, no matter where I am.'

Professional football star Héctor Bellerín, meanwhile, has donated a match-worn shirt from his time at fellow London club and Premier League giants Arsenal, continuing his support for Grenfell having previously pledged over £19,000 to support victims in the aftermath of the fire.

Rupert Taylor, founder of Grenfell Athletic, said: 'Our club was born out of a desire to heal and bring our community ever closer through the power of football.

'We're so thankful for every person who donated their fabrics and bravely shared their stories, and we hope the project offers an additional avenue for healing and a platform for showing how inspirational our community truly is.

'The hearts and souls of the people of Grenfell are woven into Grenfell Athletic's DNA, and now they'll be woven into the club's shirts, too.'

The news of Louis’ heartwarming donation comes just hours after he attended the funeral of his former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.

Timeline Part 3: May 2017 - June 2017

As I mentioned before, I'll be doing these in smaller chunks because Tumblr keeps crashing when I do longer posts. In this edition, we'll look at Sussex PR from May 2017 to June 2017.

A quick note first. There isn't as many pieces from Meghan's mouthpieces during this window as there were earlier in the year. I suspect either a) Harry caught on to how much Meghan talked to the press so she scaled back to keep working him or b) the articles were handled when Meghan's team was scrubbing the internet.

This is also when we start seeing the Daily Mail start dripping hints about Meghan's dossier.

5/2/2017: Meghan gives an interview to Good Housekeeping. This is the first known "roast chicken" reference.

5/3/2017: Meghan teases that Harry uses caviar pills to cure his male pattern baldness. "He" credits Meghan's holistic wellness.

5/4/2017: Buckingham Palace announces that Prince Philip is retiring after the summer and will stand down from royal duties. Anna Wintour is made a Dame by The Queen.

5/6/2017: The BBC claims that Harry's father is actually James Hewitt.

5/6/2017 - 5/7/2017: Audi Polo Challenge 2017 at Coworth Park. Meghan attends to watch Harry play polo and she is photographed with Mark Dyer. On Day 1 (May 6th), paparazzi catch Harry and Meghan kissing in the car park. On Day 2 (May 7th), William also plays polo and allegedly has Meghan thrown out of Coworth Park for stalking. Also on May 7th, Meghan leaks that she will be attending Pippa's wedding.

5/8/2017: Meghan wears a wedding dress for a movie.

5/9/2017: It's revealed that Meghan ditched Serena William's baby shower to go to London to see Harry.

5/10/2017: Mark Dyer sells his pubs to move out of London. The article is the first confirmation that he/his pubs had hosted Harry and Meghan for dates in the early days of their relationship. Speculation begins that Dyer doesn't like Meghan at all.

5/12/2017: Risque photos from a production Meghan did in 2011 resurface.

5/16/2017: Meghan flies into London for Pippa's wedding, although it isn't reported until May 17th and it isn't confirmed until May 18th.

5/18/2017: Meghan confirms she is in London to attend Pippa's wedding.

5/19/2017: Meghan does a pap walk in leggings and shows off her bum. The photos lead to the headline "Wedding of the Rears" and a front page photo by The Sun. Eugenie gives a tone-deaf interview about her "career" and mentions that she loves "The Crown."

5/20/2017: Pippa's Wedding. Meghan is not invited to the ceremony but is allowed at the after-party. Harry leaves the wedding midday to drive 3 hours round-trip to pick Meghan up from Nottingham Cottage. Rumors begin that Meghan wasn't allowed at all to Pippa's wedding, making Meghan angry, so to keep the peace, Harry left the wedding early and picked Meghan up so they could drive past local press to pretend they were going to the wedding.

5/21/2017: Meghan is papped leaving Kensington Palace early in the morning to fly back to Toronto.

5/22/2017:

Meghan gives an interview to Glamour UK about her fashion sense and style. She gives an infamous quote about how she likes to wear monochromatic neutrals (which later bites her in the butt when she says the royals made her wear only neutrals).

The Daily Mail reveals that Meghan's legal first name is actually Rachel.

Risque photos from Meghan's 2013 film resurface.

Meghan claims she was given rooms at the hotel where Pippa's wedding breakfast was being held and that she stayed away from the service out of respect to the bride. This completely contradicts her earlier story that she had stayed at Kensington Palace and that Harry left the wedding early to collect her for the after-party.

5/24/2017:

Priyanka Chopra gives an interview in which she speaks about Meghan and hints that she and Harry are engaged, saying she hopes for an invite to the wedding.

Meghan leaks that Harry plans to take her to Lesotho.

Sentebale's financial report is published.

5/28/2017: Meghan teases that she and Harry are house-hunting in Norfolk to be near William, Kate, and the children.

5/29/2017: William's GQ issue is published, in which he gives an intervew speaking about Diana's death and new photographs of the Cambridge family (in black and white!) are released.

5/31/2017: Camilla Thurlow (of Love Island) gives an interview about having dated Harry back in 2014 when they were photographed at a nightclub together.

6/4/2017: Harry travels to Singapore for four days to play polo in a fundraiser for Sentebale. He also does AIDS awareness work. The polo game is where he meets and befriends Nacho Figueroa.

6/7/2017: Harry travels to Sydney to promote the 2018 Invictus Games, merching his Meghan bracelet. Also, Pippa and James Matthews are in Perth for their honeymoon at the same time.

6/8/2017: Andrew applies to the UK Intellectual Property Office to trademark his Pitch@Palace initiative.

6/9/2017: Meghan is just like Queen Letizia!

6/10/2017: Meghan the yoga influencer. Meghan gives an airport papwalk in Texas ahead of the ATX Festival, merching her Panama hat, The Economist, and Chanel. Patrick Adams gives an interview to ATX about Meghan's relationship and speculates Harry ought to make a cameo on Suits.

6/11/2017: US Weekly speculates that Harry and Meghan could be getting married soon.

6/14/2017: The Sun recaps Harry's past relationships. They also reveal that Meghan had been invited to the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando. The Sun claims that Meghan accepted the invitation and attended the games, but she and Harry didn't meet.

(June 14, 2017, is also the Grenfell Tower fire.)

6/16/2017: The Daily Express speculate on what Harry and Meghan's children could like.

6/17/2017:

The royal family celebrates The Queen's Birthday Parade, Trooping the Colour. (Kate and Charlotte wear pink.)

Meghan merches a gold and diamond thumb ring that she claims is from Harry. She also claims that Harry gave her a Cartier Love Bracelet (which we know now is actually from Trevor).

E News reports that Harry flies to Toronto after Trooping festivities to visit Meghan. E News also claims that Harry will propose by the end of the year and that Meghan is preparing to move to London. They later update the article to say Harry's camp denied that he went to Toronto and instead went directly to Malawi/Africa.

6/20/2017:

William and Kate make their first Royal Ascot appearance.

Meghan puts Beatrice and Eugenie on notice that she knows they're trying to take her down.

Rumors of Meghan's attitude/behavior causing problems on the Suits set begin. She brushes it off in an interview saying the cast is upset she keeps ditching them to spend time with Harry and that it'll blow over when she introduces Harry to them.

According to unverified claims by E News, Harry leaves Toronto and flies to Malawi for conservation charity work.

6/21/2017: Harry's Newsweek interview to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Diana's passing, and is part of his Hero Harry PR drive. Infamous snippets:

She also says that Harry wants to marry sooner rather than later while Philip is still around to attend. (This comes after news that Philip was hospitalized for an infection and immediately causes speculation that Philip is seriously unwell/knocking at death's door.)

6/26/2017: E News claims that Harry's discussion about modernizing the monarchy and his role in the modernized monarchy is him preparing for marriage. This immediately causes speculation amongst royal watchers that he and Meghan had fought about the monarchy's way of charitywork (versus her issues-based campaigning) and Harry's sudden discussions about how the monarchy was modernizing was his attempts to fix it.

Also on 6/26/2017, the Court Circular confirms Harry is in Malawai. It is his only Court Circular appearance between 6/17/2017 (Trooping) and 7/6/2017.

6/27/2017: Meghan flies to London. Harry merches Sandals' Grande St. Lucian resort in a promo article. He stayed at the resort during his Caribbean tour in November 2016.

6/28/2017: Meghan merches her clothes and Channel 4 announces a "Meet the Markles" reality show/docuseries about Meghan's family.

6/29/2017: Meghan merches her clothes again and again tries to be a fashion influencer by plugging the "Meghan Effect." The trailer for Suits Season 7 drops and Charles and Camilla travel to Canada for a 3-day tour.

Paramount has axed the Daily Show archives online as of 6/26/24. It's absolutely gutting how little they give a shit about this program. Fuck them.

You're gonna have to sail the high seas to watch this. I'm sorry that this is the state of the US' most important comedy show of the 2000s. Since Paramount hasn't done shit with the old episodes for decades, I wouldn't hold your breath on it entering streaming.

Community:

In the US, this can be streamed on Peacock. Individual episodes can be purchased on YouTube, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime.

Worldwide, Community is now on Hulu.

- March 13, 2024: DJ Pumkin resigns as CEO of AOMG. He has reportedly thought of resigning for some time. Yoo Deok Geon is the new CEO of AOMG. Yoo Deok Geon is an old manager of Jay Park and the current CEO of H1GHR Music

- March 28, 2024: After their contracts had expired, GRAY, Woo Won Jae, and Lee Hi all announce that they are leaving AOMG. [Official Announcement]

- April 10, 2024: AOMG makes an apology statement regarding the Meenoi controversy. [Official Announcement]

- April 22, 2024: An AOMG official confirms that Simon Dominic terminated his contract back in February 2024

- April 25, 2024: The contract between Code Kunst and AOMG has ended. AOMG announced that they have parted ways with the artist. [Official Announcement]

Two NYE ago means 2015 NYE right? Since Harry was with that girl, and she was pretty mad at that time, maybe she was reminiscing about their time together and hoping to find someone who'd stay and then after meeting Joe she repurposed it because she thought she found that love she was searching for with Joe. I think most of reputation is her repurposing songs/ideas that were about something/someone else. And Joe just fit but some songs definitely has part Joe in them too. So I guess she succeeded in that bait and switch thing

That video, (which Taylor Nation has cut at 24:38 from their version) is from Chicago 27 June 2018, so she is referring to NYE 2016/17. (side note: Harry was also in Chicago 30 June 2018. In his next show he changed the Lyrics to MMIH to 'running with thieves you'... a few weeks before Hamille ended due to cheating......)

We have been told a few things to tell us she was with Joe then:

In 2018 the Reputation magazines included photos from Stella McCartney's farm in Bishampton (on the pages adjacent to NYD) and in January 2016 Joe posted a photo of himself woods that also had trees... not the same trees, but OK... I guess.

In 2019 in promo for A Christmas Carol Joe told interviewers he swims in Hampstead Heath every christmas, which many linked to Paper Rings, along with a very natural photo of Taylor painting a literal wall. And maybe he does, just him, his family and (long time lcy swim enthusiast) Harry Styles and by chance no one ever photographed or spoke about it.

Then on 30 December 2020 Taylor was hacked and the only photos they got/leaked was 7 (rather odd) images of Taylor and Joe getting ready on that new years eve. Amazingly they had access to Taylor Swift's camera roll and only leaked 7 PG images that placed her with Joe the at the time of a story Taylor Nation edited out of one of their videos about an icy swim on NYE, almost on the anniversary of when they were taken. (The 7 Photos were in 2 drops, the proper (non-mirror) selfies leaked October 2021.)

So why do I doubt this? Any alternative version is pure speculation we don't know where Taylor was NYE 16/17. But the edited video is weird, and I find the above odd.

FIrstly New Year's Day seems like an 1989 outtake to me, the story also fits the NYE 2012/13 Haylor Kiss that did involve hardwood floors, a Taxi in which to squeeze hands, a lobby girls could carry shoes in and an insane crowd that did make it hard and probably made them feel lost. And she looked ready to cry performing it while she was dating Joe?

Where was Harry on New Years Eve 2016/17?

Well he was spotted with Taylor on 28 December 2016 in Liverpool. Within a few days, one of his friends signed a record for Taylor to gift Austin Swift. Austin thanked the band who replied "when someone asks you to sign a record for their "friends little brother' and the friend turns out to be Taylor Swift."

After being missing for a few days he was next seen taking photos with fans in Holmes Chapel (1.5 hours drive from Stella's farm) on New Years Eve.

But wait! Taylor said she and Joe had been together for 3 months in the Lover Journal? What she said was "we" maybe that was Joe and we didn't find out for another 5 months. Or maybe she was with someone else.... in this entry shaped like a butterfly.

Updated with more.. so I question adding this and need to cavet that haylorsecrets was an account that claimed to have inside info from Taylors PR office and lost the inside connection (in hindsight after Taylor fired her publicist before Tree in 2014) they then had a friend who fed them some info. It may have all been made up, but they were right about some things. Looking for another post I saw these where she posted in February 2017 that Harry and Taylor had been together at christmas. Neil Teodoro Emeritus/Nihil Emeritus/Papa Nihil March 19, 1941-March 3, 2020 Born in Italy, moved to the US with his mother when he was too young to remember. Estranged from his father who was a previous Papa. Brought back to the Ministry when he was an adult by Sister Imperator. Leader of Ghost from mid-1960s to late 1970s. Has four kids (possibly five if we're including RHRN spoilers)

Elizabeth "Betty" Liliana Emeritus/Sister Elizabeth January 5, 1921-TBA Born in Italy, had a relationship with a Papa during the time. Ended up having a son with him. She and her son Neil ended up moving to the US when her ex didn't want to be in their lives anymore. Picrew:

Lucas Theodore Clarkson/Primo Emeritus/Papa Primo October 8, 1957-March 2018 Born in the US, co-parented by Nihil and Lucy Clarkson for a while until he was brought to the Ministry by his father. Nihil changed his name to Primo Emeritus. Leader of Ghost from 2008-2012.

Lucille "Lucy" Clarkson June 12, 1941-TBA Born in the US, dated Neil in high school. Had Lucas when she and Neil were sixteen. Mostly raised him on her own with help from her family, Neil, and his mother. Originally planned on marrying Neil once she finished college but it didn't work out. Allowed Nihil to bring Lucas to the Ministry when he was a bit older. Wasn't involved with the Ministry. Received updates on Primo and saw him occasionally. Lauro (LOW-ro) 'Secondo' Emeritus/Papa Secondo October 24, 1970-March 2018 Born in LA to Papa Nihil and a Sister of Sin named Dafne. Grew up in the Italy Ministry. Leader of Ghost from 2012-2015.

Dafne (Italian spelling of Daphne) Santoro/Sister Dafne August 23, 1943-TBA Born in Italy, grew up in the Ministry. Used to be in a long-term relationship with Papa Nihil but broke it off when he cheated. Mother to Secondo. Picrew:

Rosalie Arnaud May 11, 1948-??? Born in France. Traveled to LA. Met and had a fling with Papa Nihil which resulted in Terzo. Was not in Terzo's life. Picrew:

Irene Acerbi/Sister Irene/Sister Imperator April 3, 1944-September 12, 2023 Born in Italy, past mostly unknown. Brought Papa Nihil back to the Ministry. Has had an on-and-off relationship with Papa Nihil throughout the years. Secret mother to Copia. Involved with Ghost for years. Had Primo, Secondo, and Terzo killed.

Copia Abate/Cardinal Copia/Papa Copia/Frater Imperator July 7, 1979- Grew up in Italy at the Ministry as a supposed orphan. Saw Primo, Secondo, and Terzo as his brother figures. Saw Sister Imperator as a mother figure. Didn't know Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil were his parents until semi-recently. In a relationship (eventually) with Silas Petersson. Leader of Ghost from March 2018-2023. Promoted to Sister's position once she passed, under the title of Frater Imperator. Only has a last name for legal reasons given to him by the Clergy and it's just Abate (From Italian abate meaning "abbot, priest")

Silas Adrian Petersson May 14, 1986- Born in Austin, Texas. Spent his childhood between Texas and Sweden with his mother in Texas and his father in Sweden. Moved to Linköping, Sweden some time in his late teens. In a relationship (eventually) with Copia. Works as a janitor at the Ministry. Started working there in 2013.

Caroline "Carol" Andrews & Nicholas Petersson Carol: 1962- Nicholas: 1961- Carol: Born outside Dallas, Texas. Nicholas: Born in Sweden, near Linköping. They met when Nicholas participated in the foreign exchange student program at Carol's high school. Dated and eventually married. Had Silas. Eventually divorced on good terms (they weren't compatible and are just best friends now) when he was a kid. Co-parented Silas very well post-divorce. Stay very involved with each other's lives. Hanna Liv (LEEV) Ekström (EHK-struum) December 4, 1987- Born in Sweden. Childhood best friends with Silas. In a relationship (eventually) with Kersti. Works as a dog groomer.

Kersti (SHEHSH-tee) Beck/Sister Kersti March 11, 1986- Born in Sápmi to her parents, her father is Sámi, and her mother is Swedish. Her parents decided to move closer to her mother's Swedish family and assimilate more due to pressures. In a relationship (eventually) with Hanna. Became a Sister of Sin at the Ministry. Her stay there was always going to be temporary until she moved back to her childhood home in Sápmi.

Pigeon Ghoul ??? Summoned as a "spare ghoul" during Cardinal Copia's era. Air and Multi Ghoul lineage. Wears an old mask and uniform.

A Reylo Retrospective (or: The Friends We Made Along the Way?)

After a New York City SNL weekend, I typically write a flaily recap of the incredible show experience on my way home. (See my unabashedly joyous recap posts from Adam’s 2018 and 2020 shows. :)) My friends and I sadly did not make it into the show this time, so I decided to write a recap post of a different kind. This is a retrospective of my years in Reylo/Adam fandom so far, and why they’ve been the best years of my life.

In December 2017, I saw TLJ in theaters for the first time. Like many of you reading this, my life was irrevocably changed in the span of those hours. We all remember the moment when we felt it happen. Maybe it was when Kylo took off his helmet in front of Snoke and bared those wounded eyes. Maybe it was the moment when all sound cut out and the first force bond opened. Maybe it was the moment Kylo appeared shirtless - hot and broad and so so vulnerable. Maybe (as it was for me) it was the moment when he and Rey locked eyes in the throne room, then turned back to back in a slow motion, world-tilting moment that changed everything. Without fail, this is always one of my favorite things to talk about with Reylo friends both new and old. Recalling the moment. That lightning strike of realization that you were seeing something that would indelibly change who you are.

It’s impossible to describe the experience to people who didn’t share in this particular epiphany. But whenever I attempt to do so, I usually phrase it something like this: When I say TLJ changed my life, I don’t just mean the movie itself. I mean that moment was a gateway. It connected me to a community, friendships, and experiences that would beautify and enrich my life in ways I could never have expected.

In June of 2018, I made a hare-brained trip to the Nantucket Film Festival, where Adam would be speaking on a panel with Noah. The event was small, located in a humble school auditorium. I sat in one of the first rows, mere seats away from Greta and Joanne. Adam came onto the stage, and he was everything and nothing I expected. Larger than life. Impossibly small compared to the explosive impact of his presence. An unassuming, compelling, inexplicable force that made my heart race and my stomach swoop. The impact of his presence is something I still can’t describe. This riveting, authentic persona; this irresistible gravity in the way he carries himself; the way he seems to hunch into a body that nonetheless strains the seams of the world around him. I couldn’t take my eyes off him the entire time, and my heart never calmed down. To this day, it still hasn’t. 

Then came September of 2018: Adam’s second SNL appearance and what would be my first time attempting to go to the show. In the week leading up to the show, the undertaking truly gave the impression of insanity. I took an overnight bus to NYC on a Thursday night, and upon my arrival at 5 AM I went straight to join the Standby Line with my humongous backpack and all my things in tow. It was still dark, raining, and I truly contemplated my own sanity as I dug trash bags out from my backpack and bagged all my things in effort to keep everything dry. Then the sun rose, the rain petered out, the one internet friend I’d planned to meet there joined me in line, and as the Friday hours flew by, solidarity and excitement warmed the steadily-growing line. 

When I think back to those ~24 hours of mania, I remember spontaneous pizza parties with new line friends; I remember spirited conversations in the midnight hours about Adam’s filmography and all our respective moments of epiphany that led to us being there - on a NYC street at midnight for a mere chance of watching our collective fave on SNL. I remember random Reylos watching our updates on twitter and sending us food, snacks, and Starbucks in line. (Literally never forget the bike delivery guy who, with a befuddled expression, announced he had a pizza delivery for “….the Reylos in the SNL line???”) I remember the camaraderie, the utter silliness, the crafting of homemade signs so the hundreds of passers-by would stop asking what we were there for. (Ours said ‘What: Saturday Night Live. Why: Kylo Ren.”) I remember the hours flying by, and the utter euphoria of it all - enough to keep us (mostly) warm in even the smallest hours of Saturday morning.

In the show’s Dress Rehearsal the next evening, I sat with three girls I’d never met before that weekend. They’re still three of my best friends to this day. We exchanged numbers after the show that evening and started a group chat (“Designated Adam Drivers,” obviously). In the five years since, every single day that group chat lit up my phone meant it would be a good day. In the years since then, we’ve shared countless experiences that would never have even knocked on my door of possibility, were it not for this miraculous thing called the Reylo/Adam gateway - that spark of recognition and understanding that turned us from strangers to soulmates. 

Since then, we’ve shared almost an embarrassment of riches in terms of experiences together: Four in-person (one virtual) AITAF shows, five Burn This performances/stage doors, the profound highs and lows of the TROS London premiere, Adam’s January 2020 SNL show, Steven Colbert and Seth Meyers appearances, and an array of film festival premieres. (TIFF 2019 for Marriage Story and The Report; Cannes 2021 for Annette; Venice 2022 for White Noise.) Not to mention that last year I went to visit one of those 2018 SNL besties in Australia (along with the other Aussie bestie I met in the 2020 SNL line). 

I realize the above list reflects privilege in terms of my opportunities and work flexibility to travel, and that someone could read the above and think I need to chill the fuck out. But I wrote out that list in attempt to convey the broadening of horizons, the ageless delight, and inexhaustible joy that such a shared passion brings into one’s life. It’s a bright beacon of the kind of excitement most people leave behind in childhood. It’s a reminder of the intangible sources of wonder and inspiration that come from within. It brings together people of disparate ages, backgrounds, and nationalities with a kind of innocent enthusiasm it often feels this world needs so much more of.

Of course, one could always argue this common binding spark is the foundation of fandom culture in general. But I’ve cycled through my fair share of other fandoms pre-Reylo/Adam, and nothing has ever compared to these wondrous heights. And going on six years since my personal TLJ moment, I still feel the conviction in my very toes that nothing else ever will.

In parallel to my real-life adventure squad, these last few years have also seen the cultivation of friendships with other Reylos and fic authors online. Never underestimate the power of a single AO3 comment or twitter DM to spark profound connection. What started as a group of online friends quickly transcended the bounds of cyber space. My “pocket friends” don’t just live in my phone; they’re the people I look forward to telling about my day, the ones I lean on in tough times, the ones whose support and love I know to be constant, no matter physical distance or timezones. They’ve become the indefatigable group of girlfriends my teenaged self might have dreamed up to feature in my adult life. And even as some of us may move on from Reylo/Star Wars, its ties are timeless and unbreakable. We are more than a group of people who cohabitated the same particular corner of the internet for a time. No, we’re kindred spirits who recognized in each other the same values, the same challenges and struggles, the same fears and anxieties, the same hopes and joys. We recognized and nurtured in each other that rare, safe space for our true selves. We were drawn together by this silly, fantastic shared obsession, and together built something real and true that grew well beyond it. 

So why am I writing this terribly sappy and self-indulgent post, you wonder? Well, I suppose my motivation came from the bittersweet experience of this weekend. I suppose it came from the conflicted emotional response I had to not making SNL this time. It came from the moment I realized that while the disappointment felt crushing, I will nonetheless cherish this SNL weekend right alongside the others. 

And why should that mean anything to you, dear reader? Why should you care about my sentimentality? Perhaps because - even if we’ve never spoken either in person or online - we each shared the moment, at one point or another. The moment that led us here - to me writing, you reading, to us sharing this particular little corner of the world. Perhaps because the highs and lows I experienced this weekend are not unlike the wins and losses we all share in this fandom space. The point of this post is not to wallow in temporary disappointment, but to celebrate how far we’ve come in this shared journey. The point is to cut through the haze and the frustration, the scandal and the hurt, to recall the purity of that shared emotion that first called us here. The point is to dedicate a moment of reflection for the love and enthusiasm that guided and shaped all this in the first place. 

To many, Reylo is divisive, even maligned. Nothing we say or do can ever change their warped view. We can, however, know in our heart of hearts that we share something unique and powerful. We can support and love each other; we can see the best in each other. We can fill our shared corner of the world with that magic we each discovered when we stepped through that gateway for the very first time.

XOXO debuted with the single “Darling” in June 2011. The group began promotions with their debut stage on May 27th at M! Countdown and continued promotions on various Korean music shows to June 20th.

The group returned a year later with the mini album “I Am Me” in June 2011. The album consists of four songs, including “I Don’t Need a Man” and “U-Go-Girl”, which XOXO promoted at the same time. “I Don’t Need a Man” gained XOXO quite a bit anti-fans, mainly men. They posted on Reddit about burning or cutting up pictures of XOXO’s faces and demanded apologies but there was no statement from Delphi Entertainment.

Though XOXO had gained some attention with their first comeback, it was not until their third comeback that the group rose to stardom. In March 2012, they came-back with their full album “Electric Love”. The album consists of nine songs, including “Mr. Chu”. The album peaked atop South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and has sold over 234,500 copies in South Korea. The album's title track peaked atop South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and was the second best-selling digital single of 2011 in the country, selling over 3.3 million copies. XOXO received a total of five wins on music shows this era.

For their third mini album, Jiyeon did not participate in the stages as she had injured her knee but was in the music video. She constantly supported XOXO’s stages, posting constantly on Twitter and Instagram.

XOXO made their Japanese debut in 2014 with the Japanese versions of their already existing songs. At this time, Eunmi took a hiatus for the majority of the year for unknown reasons and was not seen until the end of the year music awards. The members did not mention her at all throughout activities, confusing fans who then made demands for XOXO and Delphi Entertainment to update them. Neither XOXO or Delphi Entertainment acknowledged these demands.

With the comeback of Eunmi and their second full length album, XOXO announced their first tour, XOXO 1st Asia Tour 2015. They had eight shows, 2 in South Korea, 2 in Japan, 2 in Thailand, 1 in Indonesia and 1 in Taiwan.

XOXO released the first episode of their reality show “Hugs and Kisses!” on November 2015 which comprised 10 episodes being released throughout the year following the four members as they traveled around Asia for their first tour, XOXO 1st Asia Tour 2015.

In January 2017, XOXO announced their North American tour and held four shows: New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Tickets were sold out in three minutes.

In 2019, Delphi Entertainment announced the indefinite hiatus of group activities. All four members still remain under Delphi Entertainment. Aera is busy with her modeling contract, Jiyeon and Eunmi both actively promote as solo artists, and Yu goes by Yoojung now and is focused on her acting career.

Another update and kinda venting lol

As usual, I'm gonna put the update thing here, so you don't have to look for it. So, it's probably been over a week since I last posted at this point, but I'm trying to work on a new post. I have like three WIPs for this blog and two for the other one, so it's not that I haven't been writing, it's just that I can't finish anything, which is annoying. I'm gonna try to post tomorrow though, because I hate when I go over a week without posting. It still happens a lot though...

Venting starts here, just me yelling into the internet void...

When I started my first writing blog (@herofics) back in June of 2017, I used to post twice a day. TWICE A DAY, for months probably closer to a year, I'm not really sure. I've just been thinking that it was an absolutely insane thing to do, and I have no idea how I managed it while I was so badly depressed. Nowadays, I post maybe once or twice a week, three times if I'm really motivated and have a lot of time and inspiration. I can't even imagine how crappy those posts were tbh, I didn't put much time into them and I just wasn't as good at writing as I am now. I've improved so much and I'm so happy about that.

I was supposed to get myself another practical training position for the fall, but I haven't gotten around to it. I was actually supposed to do it in May and let my class's tutor teacher know before she started her vacation at the beginning of June, but guess who has still not done that... I honestly fucking hate that I procrastinate so much, like why can't I just do stuff immediately or at least in a timely manner. Nope, I'm here two months later, complaining on the internet and still not just doing it. I honestly just feel so overwhelmed by the whole thing. I got so exhausted during my first practical training in the spring, and those were like five-hour days. I have no idea how I'm supposed to survive eight weeks with five eight-hour days each, and manage school on top of that, like just fuck me, I'm not built for that. I've honestly been thinking that I probably can't manage full-time work once I graduate, if I graduate...

I'm 24 and I can't drive either. It gives me such horrific anxiety and pretty much an instant panic attack if I even try. On top of that, I honestly don't want to drive, because I'm terrified I might act on my intrusive thoughts. I just simply don't want to drive because of the reasons mentioned above. Since I don't have an official autism diagnosis, I can't access any of the ride services that would provide. At least I'm pretty sure Kela has a service like that here in Finland.

I know I say this pretty much every time I make one of these posts, but I'm doing okay. I'm just kinda scared for the fall when school starts again, because I don't know if I have the energy to do both the practical training and school. I need to finish my summer courses too, and I'm dreading the swedish since I haven't even started it yet. Though one of my classmates did the whole thing in about an hour, so apparently it's not very hard. I just really need to get it started...

Shannen Doherty’s Close Friend and Doctor Describes Her 'Beautiful and Loving' Final Moments (Exclusive)

"She wasn't ready to leave because she loved life," Dr. Lawrence D. Piro tells PEOPLE of the actress, who died on July 13 after living with stage 4 breast cancer

Actress Shannen Doherty died on Saturday, July 13, after fighting stage 4 breast cancer

The Charmed alum found a friend in her oncologist Dr. Lawrence D. Piro, and he was by her bedside when she died

Piro calls Doherty "an incredible warrior" to PEOPLE and says "things turned much more difficult in the last couple of weeks" when it came to her health

Shannen Doherty considered her oncologist Dr. Lawrence D. Piro not only a trusted adviser during her breast cancer journey, but also a close friend.

“We both immediately got each other,” Piro, the President and CEO of Cedars-Sinai affiliate The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute in Los Angeles, tells PEOPLE. “Sometimes that just happens. The vibe is right and you understand each other and you understand what the thoughts mean as if you had known each other for years before that meeting. That's what it was like for us when we first met, and it was that way all the way until the very last.”

Doherty, who died on Saturday, July 13, at age 53, previously stated that she and Piro had “a great relationship, one of mutual respect.”

“The key is to find a doctor who listens to you and appreciates your concerns,” she wrote on Instagram in September 2016. “Not every cancer patient is the same. Also, it took me a lot of meetings to find my dream team. Don't settle.”

The Charmed star first received her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015 and went into remission in 2017. The cancer returned in 2019, and Doherty revealed in 2020 that she’d been diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 cancer.

Piro, who appeared on the Jan. 1 episode of Doherty's podcast, Let's Be Clear, remembers the actress as “a very intelligent person” who “was a very active participant in her entire health journey.”

“Whenever she learned some new fact or some new idea in her medical journey, she would immediately call me or forward something to me and we would discuss it and see whether it had any relevance to her scenario and where it would fit into the scheme of things for her,” he recalls. “I was always amazed with the way in which she could separate her own emotions about being so young and being on such a difficult journey from the fact-finding part. She was so razor focused and level-headed about those things.”

According to Piro, Doherty was “a step above positive” when it came to how she viewed her prognosis.

“In her mind, she was not wanting to consider any other alternative than ‘we were beating this and we were engaged in life,’” Piro says. “We didn't really talk about what that meant in terms of additional time for her because that just wasn't how she operated. She wanted to live every day, not as if it were her last day, but as if it were the beginning of a whole another chapter for her.”

The actress said on the June 24 of her Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty podcast that she planned to start chemotherapy again in hopes of beating her stage IV breast cancer that spread to her bones last year.   “We kept going until we couldn't go any more,” Piro says. “The last conversation that we had, she was in the process of realizing that things had taken a pretty significant turn. The conversation was about love and support and caring and still fighting through. She wanted to continue to take treatment and fight through, even though her physical condition had taken a bit of a downturn. And so we did.”

The doctor explains that Doherty found herself with “a limited situation of options” due to “her condition” over the last few weeks. “But still, the conversation was about, ‘What can we do within those limitations?’ as opposed to, ‘Let's do nothing,'" he says. "That wasn't even open for discussion, because that's not how Shannen lived. She was an incredible warrior in everything she did.”

In the face of declining health, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum had also been involved in stressful divorce proceedings with her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko, who she filed for divorce from in April 2023 after 11 years of marriage.

But, “I never got the sense that that emotional challenge was draining her ability to continue to fight on the medical side,” Piro says. “It certainly made it more challenging, but she's such a winner that I feel like she pulled all the resources necessary to give the best fight against cancer, even though she was being very emotionally challenged. She fought so hard and she didn't believe that it would ever be over, which kind of makes everybody around you believe that, too, because you want to believe that.”

However, it quickly became evident that that wouldn’t be the case. “Things turned much more difficult in the last couple of weeks, and that's when it became clear that it was heading in a different direction,” Piro says. “We continued to fight while putting in more support and we just kept loving and hoping and supporting.”

Piro spent Doherty’s final moments with her and some of her love ones, including her dog Bowie.

“In the last few hours, she was in a place where she was very comfortable and sleeping and transitioning, and she was surrounded by some of her very close friends,” he shares. "The room was surrounded by a select group of friends that were giving her a lot of care and support. It was somber and sad, but beautiful and loving. The hardest thing about this was that she wasn't ready to leave because she loved life.”

Piro typically associates Doherty’s home with vibrant dinner parties. “She was an incredible, incredible chef,” the medical expert says. “It was very strange being in her home with her in a bed and not in the kitchen bringing out pizzas and cooking pasta. She loved cooking, she loved giving parties. She loved entertaining. What kept her going was a love for life and a desire to have more life. That was incredibly painful for her not to be able to do that.”

Piro believes Doherty’s legacy should be one of treating others with kindness.

 “This tremendous love for life was inspired by a love for people and a love for being treated well,” he says. “And I think that that grew out of being in public eye from a very young age and feeling misunderstood most of her life. She would want us to live our lives as strongly as we can, committed to our convictions and to not allow others to label you or to misrepresent you and stop you from living your best life.”

Writing Update - June 2024

June is in the history books! I had a huge thing at work this past month, which has taken a lot of my brain power. Now that project is out of the way, I fully intend to do a bit of coasting at work for a little while. (I'm not sure how much coasting I can do, but we'll try. lol)

That said, I did get a lot of writing done! I finished up my Reverse Big Bang fic (look for that in a few weeks!) and worked on a couple of other projects that interested me. I ran a poll a few weeks ago to see what people were interested in seeing from me, and the two big long fics I've been working on... tied. (One was ahead on Tumblr, while the other was ahead on Twitter, and if I combined the votes they literally tied.) At this point I'm just letting my brain work on whatever it wants to work on, although I would like to start posting that one fic later this summer. (And new today, I think I'm coming down with a summer cold. Hopefully it doesn't stick around for very long.)

Anyway, I wrote a total of 8960 words in June, blowing past the 3000 word goal. And I'm approaching another milestone: I have one more fic left in one of the compilation series I took down. (Two of the stories in that compilation were completely reworked and became the start for The Renegade and the Hound, so I won't be reposting those. That means there will be a total of 28 fics/chapters in the series.) After that I think I only have a few more to repost from the other compilation, and then I'll be all caught up. Huzzah!

And a follow up from last month's wrap up, I decided not to participate in the other Big Bang. I'm kind of regretting not signing up, but I know it was probably a good decision. I didn't need anymore obligations on my plate at the moment.

(It gives some back story to some background characters and adds tragedy to something that gets mentioned in chapter 1 of Prime and Protector. Sorry/not sorry.)
