After getting the recipe, I had to try to making the drink from the most recent update of @unsoundedcomic (please read it if you haven't it's amazing, my favorite indie comic EVER). I made a glass for myself and my spouse, and we liked it! It was very different from anything I'd ever had before. If you like mixing tea, fruit and alcohol, I'd give it a try!

I tried to follow the recipe as closely as I could with what I had. Whatever berry they use in Alderode must have very strong coloring, because it took a lot of red and blue food coloring to get it to look like anything more blue than a cappuccino!

1 part Barry's Irish breakfast tea (black tea)

1 part whole milk (whole milk/buttermilk)

Raspberry liqueur (berry cordial)

Whipped cream vodka (vodka/sweetner)

i haven’t devoted the time and effort to this that some people have, but thus far i have yet to see anything that disproves it

she’s certainly very tirna-like in word and deed, as the twins noted in the shrine, not to mention she can interface directly with the khert. im pretty sure i had other points in favor of this but i don’t hold onto them i just note them and move on with my life

anyway, she had a twin brother and i can only think of one other in-universe example of that and it’s tirna

I wanted to doodle something inspired by one of the recent answers Lord Bastion Winalils (from Unsounded / @unsoundedcomic) has dignified us with. It's roughly a week later and I'm still tickled by it. I immediately just wanted to draw Timofey looking happy. ;_; (Or at least smiling, haha.)

I finally had a chance to draw something small tonight - plus the timing was opportune to wish the ever-wonderful Ashley a very happy birthday. :D Enjoy your day and break, Glass! <3

I haven't been quite as active on tumblr lately because I've fallen back down the webcomics rabbit hole thanks to the incredible @unsoundedupdates! (Yes, I'd highly recommended it. Yes, you should go and read it from the beginning.) Anyway, a recent page featured this delicious looking beverage:

(Ignore the salty, blonde man, new readers. He is surely no one of any importance.☺️) And since I love tea, hot beverages, and booze, I knew I had to make it! @unsoundedcomic provided a rough recipe here, and voila!

I made mine with:

4 oz warm buttermilk (must be heated in a saucepan as it will separate in the microwave

4 oz hot Duchess Grey Tea (like Earl Grey, but more floral & citrusy)

2 oz Chambord (black raspberry liqueur)

2 oz Creme de Cassis (black currant liqueur)

1 oz vodka

1/2 oz honey

It's kinda sour, but the berry flavor counteracts it nicely! I could easily imagine nursing a cup of this in the middle of a cold, Alderode winter. I don't know if I'd make it again (mostly because I rarely keep buttermilk on hand), but I liked it! Like @ministerofturnips, mine came out much more milk & coffee color, sans food coloring. Those Aldish berries must be potent indeed!

I tried making a map of Kasslyne, the main setting in @unsoundedcomic ’s webcomic Unsounded (which everyone should totally read, he yelled into the Void).

The geography is based primarily on what the comic itself has shown, together with pieces of information provided by Ashley Cope herself over the years. Even so, there were several instances, where I had to improvise. I don’t actually know how far south the Westgates (the ridge-and-valley mountain range in the center of the continent) goes, so I just made them run through the entire landmass. I’m not entirely happy about how I rendered the Frost giants in Northernmost Alderode. I might go back and change that later.

Anyway, this was really fun. Probably not entirely accurate, but I’m pretty happy with it.
