The mood was pretty weird while counting votes tonight. We were all... baffled? Baffled, yeah, especially at first when we were unfolding the votes and were met with party four, four, nineteen, four again. Wilders' PVV ended up with more than a quarter of the votes cast at our location.
We tried, but none of us could imagine what that guy would do if he were to somehow form a coalition. He has been opposition for so long that we had to wonder--does he even know? He doesn't have a party program beyond "fuck migrants." He relies on charisma and the neat thing called "not being in charge of the government people hate." Dick.
Anyways. Not happy about this at all.

Today was miserable and tomorrow will be even more miserable, but at least I accomplished what I set out to do
Everything moved out of the way and tape sectioning off where the pieces of furniture I'll be getting will be.
Now, if only I didn't have to wake up in 6 hours for that vet appointment...

here's a weird fact about me: with the exception only of international travel wherein timezone fuckery messes significantly with my sleep schedule, there is not a single day i have ever gone to bed without brushing my teeth first since i was old enough to brush my teeth unassisted as a child

you ever wake up from sleep thinking “what the fuck does my brain even know how to sleep properly”
#caique posts#went to sleep at 22:00‚ not too different to when we normally go to sleep#wake up at 1:30‚ proceed to oscillate between 30 minute periods of wakefulness and sleep with the two states blurring a lot#until 5:30‚ when our brain decides we’ve had enough sleep despite still being exhausted#so we lay awake‚ exhausted‚ until we fall back asleep around 7:30 and sleep until 10:00#and then somehow wake feeling rested. which doesn’t say a lot as we only feel the slightest bit less tired than when we went to sleep#it just happens so rarely it’s quite notable#like what is our brain thinking???#is it just tossing a coin every half an hour to decide whether we should be asleep or awake?#what’s this mythical unbroken sleep most people seem to have? where they wake up feeling better in the morning????

i’m also just obsessed with how like, with bryan it’s always about who’s the best technical wrestler in the world, and every young wrestler challenging him want to prove how technical they are, and here’s max, skipping that completely and declaring himself best in the world after his win, and even when sammy tried to put a spin on it, he just cluelessly declared himself “the best ever”, as if they’re talking completely different languages, and it has never been clearer that max is always talking directly to a ghost, while everyone around him has either moved on, or don’t even notice what’s going on with him
