Maybe I’m just rigid and change-averse but why is planning stuff with people so difficult

I made plans for dinner and chose a time and location, then one person invited someone who can’t leave campus and said we should just get DoorDash instead. That’s not the same as going out to a restaurant! That’s not what we planned and it’s going to be more expensive and probably cold. But now I’m gonna seem like I’m excluding somebody if I say no.

First world problems I guess but I’m the one who’s graduating and leaving, they can get DoorDash another time :-/
