Co-worker: *Pats my back fat and laughs*. "You just gotta go to the gym". (Referring to the loose skin on my arms) "you can get rid of that if you work hard". "Insurance will pay for it". "If you need to get bariatric surgery for it, you should just get it". "Save up for it" ($10000 estimate for a body lift and we both work min wage).

Me: *has researched these things extensively and self-harmed to get myself to just stop eating. Has fainted from working out multiple times a day and refusing to eat salt. Gained weight because of bulimeia* Maybe I'll just slit my throat and let blood drain all over my fat body, and she'll be left to watch in shock as my fat jiggles from my body convulsing. And she'll still be watching in horror as EMTs and firefighters haul away my disgusting, gelatinous, obese corpse.

Or I'll just stop eating again. Fuck recovery

As if to further add to the nonsense, someone told me they were interested in me, then preceded to call their ex-girlfriend a "Bitch". Like I'd be okay with them degrading another woman in front of me. Just because you like me and compliment me doesn't mean it's ok to refer to other women like they're dirt...bye.

Ugly Words

In a moment of thoughtless madness,

I wrote ugly words,

Twisted into lies.

  They stole through me and I turned them into sentences,

Without even processing what they meant,

Just lashing out, not caring about the specifics.

You who I have already injured many times before,

You who I never meant to burn.

  And yet, in thoughtless madness,

The words broke free,

And once your eyes had read them,

They were memories I couldn’t wipe away.

  Just please, know this, my darling:

I never meant those words to be seen,

By you, nor any other.

  I put them where I did with no intention,

Except to get them out my body,

I didn’t think, that was my main mistake,

For which I’m so, so very sorry.

I think people lie when they say they're an individual. Who isn't, in at least some way, affected by, at the very least one person, that they meet? I'm proud to say I'm a patchwork of all my friends, colleagues and acquaintances. And that makes me wonderful.
