What is Spiritual Warfare and how to overcome it with the help of God?
• Spiritual warfare is the idea that there's a battle going on between good and evil forces. In Christianity, this means a fight between God and His angels against the devil and his demons. It mainly happens in our minds, hearts, and spirits. It’s about resisting bad thoughts, temptations, and influences that go against what God wants for us. Though we believe that Jesus has indeed already defeated Satan by dying on the cross and coming back to life, the enemy still tries to lead us to sin in order to push us away from God, thus spiritual warfare.
• “Symptoms” vary since the devil attacks you where it hurts the most, to make you as vulnerable as possible; but here are some of the most common ones:
- believing that your not worthy of having a relationship with God or talking to God therefore feeling the need to distance yourself from him
-self destructive / sabotage / harm temptations
-paranoia / overthinking
-strong headaches / body aches
-temptations towards sin such as lust, gluttony, laziness, anger.. etc, depends on your weaknesses
-self hatred & self doubt / doubt in faithfulness
-hopelessness, fear, anxiety
-random depressive moods & replaying bad memories … the list goes on!
• Living a life more aligned with God’s will is seen as a threat to Satan and his purposes, leading to increased attempts to discourage or derail one’s faith journey. With a deeper relationship with God often comes a greater sense of purpose and mission, attracting more challenges and obstacles from evil forces trying to prevent one from fulfilling God’s plans. Our Father allows these intensified battles to refine and strengthen our faith, helping us rely more on Him and grow spiritually.
• Here are some bible verses that may help you during those tough times battling spiritual warfare :
-Corinthians 10:13
- Psalm 91
-Ephesians 6:11-18
-Isaiah 54:17
-Galatians 5:17-26
- Peter 5:8-9
-Romans 8:37-39
-Luke 10:19
-James 4:7
-John 16:33
-Deuteronomy 3:22
-Matthew 4:10-11
• Let me know if you’d be interested in me posting those verses and talking about some of them with you guys, sort of like a bible study kind of thing. It’d be a pleasure ;)
Have a blessed day 💞💓👼🏻

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
— Isaiah 2:22 (KJV)
Simply a warning to us from God to cease from putting our trust in man; and a call to, instead, place our trust in God as our source of help, hope, and life. The breath of man is extinguished in an instant. Man is, ultimately, unreliable and unworthy of our confidence and of our faith.

If you’re facing something that seems difficult, always remember… Nothing is too hard for our God. All things are possible. Just believe and repeat this throughout your day:
I will trust in God and not worry.
I will have faith in God and not worry.
I will hold to God’s unchanging hand.
God has never left me nor forsaken me.
It may not look or feel like it but ALL IS WELL!

It may take a while but what's meant for you will not mistakenly be given to someone else. God doesn't miss any targets. God doesn't give someone else your piece of the cake. So rest assured, that if something is meant for you, even if the whole world is competing for it, it will be yours and yours only.

God has us all on a path that's bigger than us. It's not always beautiful or what we want, but the outcome will be something better than we could've imagined. Trust in God that he has you. Trust in yourself that you're strong enough for it.
Your faith will lead you to your victory. 🙏🩷

‭1 Kings 3:5-143 (GNT‬). “That night the Lord appeared to him in a dream and asked him, “What would you like me to give you?” Solomon answered, “You always showed great love for my father David, your servant, and he was good, loyal, and honest in his relation with you. And you have continued to show him your great and constant love by giving him a son who today rules in his place. O Lord God, you have let me succeed my father as king, even though I am very young and don't know how to rule. Here I am among the people you have chosen to be your own, a people who are so many that they cannot be counted. [9] So give me the wisdom I need to rule your people with justice and to know the difference between good and evil. Otherwise, how would I ever be able to rule this great people of yours?” The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this, and so he said to him, “Because you have asked for the wisdom to rule justly, instead of long life for yourself or riches or the death of your enemies, I will do what you have asked. I will give you more wisdom and understanding than anyone has ever had before or will ever have again. I will also give you what you have not asked for: all your life you will have wealth and honor, more than that of any other king. And if you obey me and keep my laws and commands, as your father David did, I will give you a long life.”
“Put God’s Priorities First” by In Touch Ministries:
“If we trust God and seek to honor Him in our decisions, we’ll have the chance to see Him work mightily.”
“Imagine if God showed up and said, “What do you want? Ask, and I’ll give it to you.” How would you answer? Most of us would ask for loved ones’ safety, enough money to meet our needs, or a long, healthy life. Solomon may have been tempted to name something similar—but he made a different request. What he wanted was an understanding heart so he could serve God’s people well.
Solomon’s life was full of personal needs and desires not so different from our own. But when given the opportunity to ask God for anything, he prioritized the Lord’s concerns. God was so pleased with the request that He gave Solomon not only wisdom but riches and honor as well (1 Kings 3:13)! This encounter foreshadows Jesus’ words in the Gospel of Matthew: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you” (Matthew 6:33).
God won’t necessarily give wealth, influence, or long life because we put His priorities first, but He will always be faithful to provide all we need according to His purposes. Solomon’s heart was set on seeking God’s kingdom and righteousness, and the Lord honored that in a multitude of ways—both tangible and intangible. When we make God’s priorities ours, we too will have the chance to see Him work mightily in our life.”

Psalms 91:13 NLT
[13] You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
God just helped me trample a lion using Scripture. It was awesome. Some people are nasty, like a lion they're vicious and their hate is large and sharp like claws and they wear their pride like a lion wears his mane. But he is faithful, always. Amen 🤍
Trust in him, always and in every interaction. If you trust in him, he will be with you. Everyday pray to him that he gives you words to speak so that everyday your words can bring life to the world.
Remember brothers and sisters, we are called to be a light in the darkness (Matthew 5:14-16, Psalms 119:105), stand up for what is right. Stand up for others. But, only after first seeking His permission and his provision.

Good Morning!☀
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalms 37:3-5
Many books have been written with such titles as " How to Get What You Want From God", "Prayer That Gets Results" and others, aimed at some how showing you how to get more from God. These books try to take an infinite God whose ways are higher than our ways and boil him down to formulas that are supposed to guarantee access to his blessings.
The focus of such books is all wrong. Our focus should not be on getting God to do anything. Our focus should be on developing a right relationship with him by putting him first in all we consider and do. Jesus put it this way:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)
God does not need to be, nor can he be manipulated into doing for us. His heart is ever towards us to do us good and more.
When we align our will with his will, our thoughts with his thoughts and our desires with his desires for us, everything we need or want will be provided for us. No begging, manipulating, or making promises we are unlikely to keep needed.
Trust in the Lord and do good. Delight in the Lord. Commit your ways to the Lord. Center your life on him and his word. You will have all you need and more!

Desert Places
The Lord . . . has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. — Deuteronomy 2:7
When I was a young believer, I thought “mountaintop” experiences were where I would meet Jesus. But those highs rarely lasted or led to growth. Author Lina AbuJamra says it’s in the desert places where we meet God and grow. In her Bible study Through the Desert, she writes, “God’s aim is to use the desert places in our lives to make us stronger.” She continues, “God’s goodness is meant to be received in the midst of your pain, not proven by the absence of pain.”
It’s in the hard places of sorrow, loss, and pain that God helps us to grow in our faith and become closer to Him. As Lina learned, “The desert is not an oversight in God’s plan but an integral part of [our] growth process.”
God led many Old Testament patriarchs to the desert. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all had wilderness experiences. It was in the desert that God prepared Moses’ heart and called him to lead His people out of slavery (Exodus 3:1-2, 9-10). And it was in the desert that God “watched over [the Israelites’] journey” for forty years with His help and guidance (Deuteronomy 2:7).
God was with Moses and the Israelites each step of their way through the desert, and He’s with you and me in ours. In the desert, we learn to rely on God. There He meets us—and there we grow.
Valuable lessons can come from some of the strangest places. For ancient Israel, one of those places was the uninhabited zone known as the wilderness (Deuteronomy 2:1-7). The value that comes from trekking through such unwelcomed territory is described in chapter 8: “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart . . . . He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna . . . to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord” (vv. 2-3).
True safety isn’t determined by our location (lions’ den, fiery furnace, valley of the shadow of death, passing through fire or water). It comes with trust in the One who goes with us regardless of where we are.
