thinking about a yandere who was cursed by the gods (something similar to medusa), not because he did anything wrong, but because they found him too beautiful and too tempting.
what was once a god of a man was now but... still a handsome man, just with cursed eyes. with eyes that turn anyone into stone the second he gazes upon them. everyone who he once knew were now nothing more than mere statues, having glanced upon his beautiful eyes that now bring death.
he has chosen to live in solitude, away from everyon- well, not really. it's just that the once lively place he lived in.... wasn't so lively after all. i mean, they all turned into stone 💀
anyway, he shut everyone out because #1 they were all dead and #2 he didn't want to lose another person that he loved. what better way than to just... not interact with society and become a social hermit?
enter, you.
little ol' you who accidentally wandered into his place. he was flabbergasted and terrified. shit, he didn't want to kill an innocent person! so he tried to scare you away by making weird noises and blockign off your path while simultaneously not showing his eyes.
but wow, you just kept coming closer and closer!
"stay back! i'm warning you! you'll regret it!"
he tried to cover his eyes, tears threatening to spill from them as he absolutely majestiv form trembled on the spot. man, was he really about to take the life of another innocent person who didn't deserve to get turned into stone??
then you told him you were blind and he felt the fear leave his body as fast as it came.
from then on, the two of you chatted daily, talking about your different lives and such. it helped him regain a sense of... normalcy that he thought he'd forgotten. it was nice having you around.
so much so that he actually started to develop feelings for you. feelings that were so deep and obsessive that others would've probably ran away. not you though, never you. you were the only one to stay by his side despite his unusal predicament. perhaps the gods were sorry for playing such a cruel fate on him and decided to give him a blessing?
wrong.
"sweetheart! sweetheart! it's a miracle!"
your voice snaps him out of his daze, filling him with a giddy feeling that he's come to love and crave. oh you are just so delightful! he swears he could just lock you up to coddle you in hugs and kisses for the rest of his miserable little life!
"darling? what miracle?"
he pauses, feeling his heart drop into his stomach the second you enter his room without your usual glasses on. wait... what are you-
"i've regained my sight! bless the heavens above i-"
"no! no! no! don't look!"
but it was all for naught. you had already turned to stone.
"fuck! why did this happen?! no no no.... please wake up. please, you can't leave me too!"
the beautiful man sobs, cradling you in his arms as his salty tears fall onto your now stone cold cheeks. he cries and begs, voice growing softer and softer as the sun begins to set. how could the gods be so cruel? what had he done so wrong for them to subject him to such a fate? fine! take away his friends! take away his family! but why did they have to take you too?
"please come back...."
things were only made worse because today was the day when he'd finally decided to ask you to spend the rest of your lives together.

thankful - Jegulus Microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - word count: 386
Regulus tried not to show how anxious he was as he waited hand-in-hand with James on Platform 9 3/4, eyes glued on the scarlet train slowly approaching the crowd. He had always been good at hiding his nervousness, but sending Harry to Hogwarts was one of the most terrifying things he'd ever done.
So he'd been excited to greet this son on the platform, to pull him into his arms and see with his own eyes that he was okay (even after the Quidditch incident). He'd been thinking about it for weeks. prepared himself to not completely break down with relief on the platform.
What he hadn't been prepared for was for Harry to come running toward him, a giant grin on his face. He hadn't been prepared to be pulled into a hug that made him want to cry, James's arm around him on one side and Harry's on the other as the three of them embraced.
"Haz! I thought you were happy to be rid of us!" James laughed, unaware of the way Regulus's heart was expanding with joy. "You were so excited to get on the train in September!"
Harry just smiled, pulling back and looking at James and Regulus. "Hogwarts is the best," he agreed, green eye wide. "But..." his eyes trailed over the crowd, locking onto someone Regulus couldn't spot, "I met some kids who hate it at home. They actually," he cleared his throat and swallowed, expression disbelieving, "they're scared to go home. It made me thankful that I can be happy to come home as well, you know?"
The statement his\t Regulus so completely that he almost collapsed on the platform. Memories of sitting on the Hogwarts Express, terrified to leave the train, invaded his brain. Memories of shock when he'd met James's parents and seen a family that showed love. Memories of being terrified to start a family, for fear of continuing the same cycle.
A strong, sure hand wrapped around his waist, squeezing reassuringly, and he felt James kiss his temple, murmuring quietly, "I love you, baby," all while Regulus stared at Harry in wonder.
"I...you have no idea how happy it makes me to hear you say that, Harry," he said tearfully, again pulling his son in for a hug, waves of gratefulness washing over him.

Flames danced in the ruins of Piltover, their light painting the chaos in flickering shades of orange and red. The once pristine city was now a battlefield, torn apart by Ambessa’s Noxian forces. Smoke billowed from the destruction, and the air was thick with ash and the metallic tang of blood. Ekko sprinted through the wreckage, his heart pounding with a fear he hadn’t felt since he lost his family in Zaun.
Every explosion made him flinch, every shadow looked like you. He had sworn to protect you, to keep you safe despite the horrors of this war. You weren’t supposed to be here, not in the thick of the fight, not in the crumbling heart of Piltover. But you had insisted, standing firm in that quiet, determined way of yours.
“Zaun fights against corruption. I won’t stand idly by and do nothing,” you had said, your hand brushing against his.
But now, as he tore through the smoldering streets, his heart filled with dread. Jinx’s globe, her insane, chaotic weapon of destruction, had careened into one of the towering structures nearby. The crash had sent debris flying like deadly shrapnel, and he had lost sight of you in the chaos.
He shouted your name, his voice hoarse from the smoke and desperation. His feet stumbled over rubble, and his eyes scanned every twisted beam and broken wall for a glimpse of you. Your name that once brought warmth now felt like a prayer. The world around him was collapsing, literally. Another blast shook the ground, and a wall buckled under its weight. But all he could think about was finding you.
And then he saw it. A hand peeking out from beneath a pile of rubble, fingers limp and covered in soot. His breath hitched as he ran toward you, adrenaline driving his every step. When he reached the debris, he fell to his knees, his hands trembling as he began pulling away the heavy stones and broken wood. “No, no, no,” he murmured under his breath, the words spilling out like a mantra.
Finally, he uncovered you. Your body was twisted and broken, your beautiful gown torn and stained with blood. Soot clung to your skin, and a deep gash ran along your temple. For a moment, he couldn’t breathe.
“Firefly…” His voice cracked as he leaned down, cupping your face with shaking hands.
Your eyes fluttered open, unfocused and dim. The spark that always lit them, the one that had drawn him to you in the first place, was barely there. “Ekko…” you whispered, your voice so faint it was almost lost amidst the chaos.
“I’m here,” he said, his tears falling freely now. “I’ve got you. You’re gonna be okay, you hear me? Just hold on for abit.”
You tried to smile, but it was weak and fleeting. “I… I don’t think I can,” you murmured, your words slurred from the pain.
“Don’t you dare say that,” he said, his voice breaking as he pressed his cheek to yours. “You’re strong. Stronger than anyone I know. You’re gonna make it. We’re gonna go home. You just have to stay with me.”
But your body was trembling, and your breathing was shallow. He could feel the life slipping away from you, and he was powerless to stop it.
“Mmhm,” you hummed softly, your voice trembling as tears spilled from your eyes. “I’m scared.”
“I know,” he whispered, his heart shattering. “I know, Firefly. I’m here with you, okay?”
Your hand lifted weakly, brushing against his cheek. “I wanted to stay and see it… the future you talked about,” you said, your voice barely audible. “I wanted to be there with you.”
“You will be,” he said, even as the truth clawed at his throat.
But your eyes were beginning to close, the light in them fading like a dying star. “Promise me…” you whispered.
“I promise,” he choked out, his tears falling onto your face as he held you on his lap. And then, with a shuddering breath, you went still. Your body went limp completely against his, no more strength to hold onto.
“No.” The word left him in a broken whisper. “No, no, no!” He pulled you into his arms, rocking back and forth as the weight of your loss crushed him. The city burned around him, but he didn’t care. The world could end, and it wouldn’t matter. You were gone. The one who had brought light into his life, who had stood by him even when the odds were stacked against them, was gone. And it was his fault. He had promised to protect you, and he had failed.
His tears fell freely now, mingling with the blood and soot that covered your face. He pressed his forehead to yours, his voice a broken whisper. “I’m so sorry,” he said. “I love you. I’ll always love you.”
Around him, the war raged on. But in that moment, Ekko was frozen, trapped in a world where the only thing that mattered was the girl he had lost. The flames reflected in his tear-filled eyes, their light a cruel mockery of the fire you had once carried within you. He held you close, his heart breaking with every passing second. And as the sounds of battle echoed around him, one thought consumed him: he would never let your memory fade. He vowed to himself that he would add you onto a mural, the one were the rest of the people he cared about were. The future you had dreamed of, the one you had believed in, it was his now. And he would fight for it, no matter the cost.

Okay- I adore the Mecha AU.. so now I have to share MY terrible idea, dunno if anyone has said this yet but- you remember that in pacific rim when Raleigh & Mako DRIFT and they both experience each other’s trauma?
What if that happened with Jazz & Prowl?
Like-
One day Prowl starts noticing a difference in Jazz's behavior, noticing how he would suddenly tense up or flinch whenever somebody suddenly started speaking loud or in the morning he’d notice how he was soaked in sweat and shakily making his way to the wash racks. Whenever he’d ask if he was alright he was always met with a smile and a reassuring remark, yet he knew something was off and he wanted to help.
So then (once he’s fully healed) he suggests to Jazz that they should do trust exercises under the guise that since he doesn’t have another Mecha so they should strengthen their own bond for any future battles. Jazz is hesitant, especially since he blames himself for Prowl being in that situation in the first place, but he also wants to spend time with Prowl so he agrees.
Prowl probably would go to a secluded spot in the forest they’re in, somewhere safe where, once Jazz is relaxed enough he can ask him about these strange behaviors he’s recently been exhibiting. Surely nothing bad will happen and surely Jazz will be fine like he usually is…
The training exercises go well, Jazz is feeling fine and they’re both in the zone when suddenly a bad memory spontaneously starts to haunt Jazz and it triggers a PTSD-esque Episode where Jazz freezes up and is suddenly taken back to that horrible time..
The time he was strapped down to a bedbunk, his body writhing in agonizing pain, the constant sting of needles piercing his skin followed by an intense burning sensation that can only be likened to being burned from the inside out, his vision going blurry and his throat raw and bleeding from screaming and crying, his body shaking and shivering as a thick sheen of sweat coats his body.
And right now… because of the DRIFT.. Prowl sees it too, he not only sees it but he’s there, standing over Jazz's restrained body, he hears screams and sounds he never EVER wanted to hear, not from Jazz of all people. His precious partner, he’s looking down at him unable to help or protect him from these strangers, these monsters who are ignoring the ear piercing, spark-wrenching screams of pure agony. Worst of all? He can’t move, he’s frozen in place, forced to stand there helplessly as Jazz is begging for mercy, begging for someone to help him… and. he. can’t. move.
It lasts just for a moment but for both of them it felt like an hour until Jazz screams himself back into reality, freeing both him and Prowl from his nightmare. Prowl drops to a knee, his mind racing as he tries to figure out what the actual hekk he just saw until he feels Jazz pounding his fist against his chest, he can vaguely make out his choked up plea which scares Prowl as he’s never heard Jazz make that noise before. Prowl opens it and barely manages to catch Jazz as the man tumbled out into his own shaky servo in a trembling heap.
Jazz is slightly pale and tears are in his eyes as he struggles to catch his breath, he knows he’s not there anymore but he still feels it.
Prowl rushes back to Ratchets hideout where he the others are and calls for him, fear gripping his tanks as Jazz is still huddled in a fetal position, hyperventilating as he grips his soaked hair. Ratchet immediately recognizes what’s happened and quickly moves to help Jazz calm down before he has a heart attack which he is very close to having with how high his pulse is. It works but the man is so worn out from the stress that he just passes out.
I don’t know but that’s been plaguing my mind since I started reading your AU and I just HAD to share it lol, what do you think? How do you think Prowl would actually react to that? I figured he’d freak out as humans and their fragile bodies are still new territory for him.
Also sorry if it’s all a bit unclear or confusing or like- boarderline rambling I’m not good at storytelling and just stick to RP and making RP plots lol.
OH MAN. OH FUCK. YEP UH HUH YEAH. THIS. oh my god
Knowing Prowl, he would probably rush to learn every bit of information he can access about. You know. How to help someone in that scenario. Because he’s scared that something would went wrong while he has zero knowledge about humans.
But also. I think it would make him realise just how strong despite his small size Jazz actually is.
Jazz might drop something about his brain being over dramatic when it’s not helpful at all. While Prowl is just are you fraggin serious you’re a superhuman

of monsters and milk (dad!hanjisung)
can ya'll tell i have the biggest fucking soft spot for dad!han 🙈
"Weeeeeee-gaaahh".
"AH. CRYING BABY"
Han jolts into a sitting position, all senses on high alert, eyes wide and his messy head of hair all fluffed out and tousled from the abrupt start.
He quickly slips out of the rumpled sheets and crawls over to the bassinet at the feet of the bed just as you start to stir awake, ever so slowly.
"Mmh...Nari?".
Han swiftly picks up his crying baby, he retrieves her discarded pacifier and gently sticks it in her mouth as too soothe her quickly, all the while rocking her in his arms gently, "I got this, shh, go back to sleep", he instructs softly, leaning in to kiss your forehead.
In your hazy, still dreamy state you catch but a jumbled murmur of his words and whiff on Nari's baby powder and milk scent before you drift off to sleep incredibly quickly. After all being a parent for the second time with a toddler and a 2 months old baby gets the best of you. Reason why you and Han take turns for night feeds and cuddles and just overall baby duties.
Perhaps the both of you combined might eventually get 8 full hours of sleep in a week. Not 8 consecutive hours of rest but ... Still.
Nari is not quite calm yet but the pacifier holds off her hungry crying at least until he has successfully padded his way out of your shared bedroom and into the hall, ""ts alright Nari-ah, milk is coming, milk is coming", he mumbles, pressing soft kisses to her downy little head as he makes his way down the hall  and is almost about to unlock the kids safe gate perched on top of the stairs when he hears a wail like scream followed by loud whimpers.
"MONSTAH MONSTAH WEEEE".
"Oh ... Another crying baby".
Han barely has any time to kneel down on the floor, carefully balancing Nari on his hip while still holding onto her head and neck so it's pressed into his chest when Daisy comes screaming down the hall, running straight into her father's unoccupied arm, spread out for her: "what happened? baby what happened are you okay?", he tries to calm her down by hugging her to the best of his abilities.
It partially works. Nothing like daddy's magic hugs to calm down a crying baby. Daisy burrows her little face into her father's chest and sniffles quietly, "i had a mare mare...wit monstah". A small but painful crack in his heart, Han pulls his older daughter tighter to him, "aw you had a nightmare and a monster was there, sweetheart? I'm so sorry, it must have been scary yeah?", he says calmly, recognizing her fear and distress.
The little girl nods vehemently and sticks her tiny hands in her dad's pjama pants pocket, timdily asking for comfort and shelter, "very scawy, he took Quokki", she confesses, her big brown eyes still glossy with unshed tears, "oh no, not Quokki. I'm so sorry Daisy girl, we should make this bad monster go away shouldn't we? I bet Quokki is scared too", Han says softly, gathering up his two lovely bundles of daughters as he slowly stands up again.
Daisy clings to his legs and looks up at him expectantly, very much wrapped around his finger for Oppa is always so good at helping her through nightmares. "Alright, let's go chase out this bad guy so you and Quokki can go back to sleep", he explains patiently, walking towards her room.
Nari fusess about in slight impatience, her suckling on her pacifier growing sloppy with anticipation for the milk she's been promised, that much Han knows very well. But he's determined not to wake you up again, despite the dark circles around his tired eyes and the overall sleepiness and exhaustion from the numerous sleepless nights, he still takes the time to tackle one problem at a time, help one daughter at a time.
As soon as Daisy walks back into her bedroom she lunges for her HanQuokka plushie, which she has funnily renamed Quokki, and holds him tight to her chest, a sight so heartbreakingly devastating Han crumples on the inside out of pure endearment.
"Good girl, Deiji girl, cuddle him close, he needs you right now", he instructs before bending down on his knees again so he's more eye level with his daughter, "okay, first we have to chase Mr. Monster away from Daisy's little mind and Quokki's too right?", he says and waits for Daisy to nod her approval, "you know how we do that? with a kiss!! Monsters are very afraid of kisses, because kisses are magic!".
Ah the fervent imagination he nurtured with years and years of songwriting and bed time story impromptu making. Han Jisung the artist and the loving father where one and the same: wizards. Little genius brain faces of the same man.
Daisy's adoring eyes go wide with utter bewilderment, her mouth even opening in awe, "what were going to do is daddy gives you a kiss, here on your forehead so Monster flies straight out, and then you give Quokki a kiss on his little forehead so he's protected too!", Han enthuses, admiring how his daughter lights up at the suggestion,"YES!!", the 2 year old exclaims excitedly, now jumping up and down, almost rousing her little sister whose sleepy but inquisitive big eyes are looking around, taking in her sourroundings.
Emphasizing the smack of his lips on her forehead, Han kisses his first baby and taps her head gently, "take that Mr. Monster!", Daisy squeals in happiness and places a resounding kiss onto her plushie, which catches Nari's attention, the infant squirming and whining softly, "ah I think your baby sister might want a magic kiss too!", Han states, immediately abiding to his instincts. Which Daisy promptly replicates by puckering up and standing on her tippy toes to reach her sister.
A tender spike to his heart, Han bends down and watches that blissful moment as Daisy kisses her sister's forehead, looking immensely proud. He still is just astounded at how sensitive and smart and perceptive his first flower is. Actual tears threaten to spill right out of his eyes.
"Gooood girl, good big sissy. Now we're going to open the window so Monster can finally get out", he affirms then, walking over to the moon illuminated window, opening it wide for a brief second, "Mr. Monster we need you to go and leave Daisy alone now, bye bye", he mocks waves his hand bye, his older daughter imitating him, "buh -bye monstah", she exclaims resolutely in her tiny voice.
Once the window is closed Han spins around and holsters up Nari who's now growing restless for her milk, "okay, monster's gone now. Do you want to have some warm milk like sissy before going back to bed?", he offers, "yes, daddah", Daisy beams upnat him and he holds oir his hand for her, "downstairs we go,then. Hand please", he instructs again so they can walk out and then downstairs safely.
He's done this a million times, really. Ever since she started walking and then running and then figuring out how ro climb the stairs, Han knows she's a big girl now, she's careful and capable of moving around on her own quite well. Yet to hold safely that tiny hand while walking downstairs feels like the most precious thing still.
If he could hold her hand forever, through whatever hurdles might come here way, if he could shield and help his daughters bu Just holding their hands forever he would, in a heartbeat.
The clever little older girl climbs on her chair by herself, she patiently waits for her dad to slide said chair closer to the table so she's safe up there and quietly plays with her Quokki while Han warms up some milk. Nari drools all over herself, squirming around in her father's hold when she sees her milk bottle approach, "one second baby girl, it's hot, it's very hot", he says through a yawn, ultimately, finally! sitting down at the table, ready to feed his girls.
He hands Daisy her sippy cup and she takes it with both hands, as if accepting a gift, just like her dad taught her, "there you go, darling", "thank youuu appa". Smiling warmly at her, Han brushes her hair gently, so proud of her manners, the way she's still so young but so talkative and bright. The way she started picking up Korean so well and she spontaneously switches in between languages. He loves their little conversations.
"Kkkksss ahh milky's finally here yeah? Hi sweetheart, hi", he coos softly, feeding Nari who slurps up her milk ravenously while he gently settles her head in the crook of his elbow, right against his chest so her neck is supported and tilted right.
Oh that lovely baby smell intensifying, her tiny sounds and hiccups, Han gazes lovingly into his other daughter's eyes, holding her bottle for her.
He's split between the two loves of his entire life, not sure how to contain all the love stored within him. It's the quiet moments like these that make his heart flutter, just him and these two small humans he helped bring to life.
"All done dadda", Daisy exclaims, showing her empty cup, a little sleepiness in her eyes, "you're all done baby? was it yummy? do you want some more?", Han asks, smiling encouragingly, "no thank you, 'm good", she replies through a small yawn, shaking her head,"okay, can you wait two more minutes until sissy's done with her milk or would you like to go to sleep right now?", he inquires, gently tilting the bottle so Nari can easily suck up the last few drops of milk, "Daiji waits", murmurs the little girl, rocking her legs back and forth as she waits patiently at the table.
As soon as Han's done feeding Nari, he grabs a towel and drapes it over his shoulder expertly, he promptly lifts his baby up to his shoulders so he can pat her back and help her digest, silently praying she doesn't spit up her milk while he walks around slowly.
"Can I hol' shissy?". Han stops in his tracks and grins widely at Daisy, who's looking expectantly at her father, he walks over to her at the table and bends down on his knees, "of course you can hold sissy, little daisy flower. You want to be very gentle okay? Dadda helps you".
With a bit of careful maneuvering, and with the strong support of his arms, Han places a now very sleepy very calm baby Nari into her older sister's lap, the little girl cradling the baby so sweetly and hesitantly Han feels his heart swelling and swelling.
"Nari is preeetty", she mumbles under her breath, "yeah she's is very pretty, and you are very pretty. And mum's very pretty too, and you both look just like her", Han replies sincerely, unable to contain the joy manifesting on his face, he kissess both of his daughters' cheeks, so endeared he might cry.
A few goodnight kissess and nuzzles and diaper checks later, once he has made sure Nari's fast asleep in her bassinet and you are still soundly asleep, Han makes his way back to Daisy's room, tired and sleepy beyond comprehension but still willing to tuck his daughter to bed like he promised he would.
Daisy's already all snuggled up to her plushie, a few messy wisps of hair peeking out from underneath the bundle of sheets and blankets she has buried herself in. Han chuckles at the sight and pats her head tenderly, "Deiji baby...", he whispers, loud enough for her to hear while not disrupting her sleepy state too much.
Squinty sleepy eyes finally look back at him, a mischievous little grin spreading on her lips as she giggles and lifts her blanket up to her face again, hiding underneath, "ah! are we suddenly playing hide and seek now?", Han plays along, tickling her first and then squatting down on the floor so when Daisy removed the blanket she only sees the top of his head.
They play like that back and forth for a few minutes, at least until the little girl starts yawning more frequently and Han recognizes the heavy eyelids falling upon her eyes, "time to go back to sleep", he says sweetly, already adjusting the blankets and tucking her in, "appa is really really proud of you, you are such a good little helper and an amazing older sister to Nari, I love you so much".
Daisy smiles sleepily and cuddles Quokki to her chest, bleary eyes hardly open right now, "I love you dadda", she says in her tiny quiet voice, her father melting entirely. He kissess the top of her head and pats Quokki once, his knees straining with effort when he finally stands up straight again, "I love you more. Sweet dreams baby, sweet dreams Quokki".

To The Rescue
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Changbin x Reader Word Count: 1,3k Tags: Fluff, Cuddling, Established Relationship. Summary: Early mornings are for rescuing your boyfriend and his roommates from a tiny uninvited visitor. *************************************************************
The sky is still pitch black when you jog down the stairs of your dorm. Most of the students on campus are still asleep and you don't blame them. If it wasn't for you boyfriend calling you up in a blind panic, you would still be under your pile of blankets as well.
Your boots make the leaves under your feet crunch and you smile, breathing in the crisp morning air. You love this time of year, when the trees change color and the air gets colder. If only Autumn wasn't so dark and rainy, you'd love it even more.
When you arrive at the dorm your boyfriend shares with three of his friends, you only have to knock once before the door is wrenched open.
'Thank god,' Felix pants and he grabs your arm to pull you inside.
You chuckle and follow him into the living area where the other two are gathered as well, standing on the sofa and screeching like the house is on fire.
'Y/N! It's over there!' Jisung screams, waving his arm in the direction of the curtains.
'Shouldn't we call animal control? I'm not sure if it's safe for Y/N to touch it,' Changbin says from behind Jising, his hands clutching his friend's hoodie like it will protect him.
'Don't be so dramatic, babe,' you grin at your boyfriend. 'Why don't you come give me a kiss?'
Changbin's eyes grow wide. 'While the beast is still out there?'
'Yeah,' you nod. 'You love me, right? Am I not worthy enough for you to overcome you fear of a itty bitty-'
You get interrupted by Jisung screaming loudly again. 'IT MOVED!!'
'Oh my god,' Felix mutters beside you, rubbing his eyes tiredly. 'Y/N can you just please help me catch this stupid mouse so I can go back to sleep.'
You nod and inch closer to the curtains where the boys say they last saw the animal. You move slowly and careful, keeping your eyes trained on the dark brown fabric to watch out for any movement.
'Go for the tail if you can,' you say to Felix. 'It's easier to grab them there, but make sure to move it to your hands soon after so you won't hurt it.'
Felix shivers, but nods and inches towards the other side of the curtains.
'Babe, I'm really not sure you should touch it,' Changbin whines. 'What if it bites you?'
You ignore him and slowly get down to your knees so you'll have better access to the small animal if it decides to run your way.
Felix pokes the curtains at his side and almost immediately you hear the sound of running paws. Without thinking you stretch out your hands and latch onto the tiny body as it races out from under the curtains.
Jisnung screams again, Changbin yells your name and Felix cheers.
The mouse wriggles in your hands nervously, its tiny wet nose budging against your skin as it tries to escape.
'Ssshh, it's okay. I got you,' you whisper, hoping that like any other animal, it might calm it down a bit.
'DID IT BITE?' Changbin yells, still standing on the couch behind Jisung.
You shake your head and get up from the floor. The mouse trembles in your hands, but it doesn't try to hurt you.
'Binnie, darling, why don't you come off of the couch,' you try to convince your boyfriend again, smiling sweetly at him. 'The mouse won't hurt you, it's more scared of you than you of him.'
Changbin and Jisung both glare at you and stay right where they are. You roll your eyes at them. You're so going to tell this story to the rest of your friends over breakfast.
Felix opens the door to their tiny garden so you can set the mouse free. He grabs his phone and opens his camera to film your hand.
'Let's see what monster had the guys so afraid,' he chuckles.
You laugh too and slowly open your hands. The mouse's nose appears first and when it lifts its little head and looks at you and Felix with its tiny black eyes, you can't help but coo at it.
'It's so cute,' you giggle. 'I don't know what they were so afraid of.'
Felix still looks a bit wary, but you can see in his eyes that he thinks the tiny animal is not as scary up close as he might have thought.
'Babe, come inside, it's freezing,' Changbin yells from inside.
You take one last look at the mouse before kneeling on the grass to set it down.
'Be free, my friend. And don't come back,' you whisper as the mouse quickly runs into the bushes.
Felix laughs and helps you up. 'I swear you could make any animal your friend.'
Hell yes you could.
'I think I already proved that when I befriended you guys,' you tease as you step back into the living room.
Changbin and Jisung immediately tackle you in a hug.
'Thank you, thank you, thank you!' Changbin whispers against your neck.
'You're my hero,' Jisung cheers, hugging your back.
You laugh and curl your arms around Changbin's waist. Enjoying the warmth that is radiating from his body.
'You're welcome boys.'
Jisung lets go of you in favor of collapsing on the couch, but Changbin keeps you close to his body. His hands move to you back to hold you even tighter and you snuggle your face in his soft hoodie.
'Hey,' you whisper into the fabric.
'Hey,' he whispers back, pressing a kiss on top of your hair. 'I missed you.'
You giggle and tighten your arms around his waist. 'You just saw me like six hours ago.'
'Well, you could have just stayed with me,' Changbin replies. 'It would have saved you the trouble of running through the cold at five am.'
He has a good point, but you aren’t going to admit that. You spend a lot of time at his dorm already, practically living here anyways.
'Where's Seungmin?' You ask, changing the subject as you slowly pull back from your boyfriend's chest. 'I expected him to be hiding out on the couch with you and sungie. Did he sleep through it?'
Changbin laughs and pulls you with him to his room, the one he shares with Seungmin. 'No, I think he stayed with the others. He and Minho were studying together last night.'
'So we have your room to ourselves?' you wiggle your eyebrows. 'Such luxury.'
The both of you climb into Changbin's bed and he drapes the covers over both of you before pulling you against his body. You cuddle against his chest and intertwine your legs with his while he wraps his strong arms around you.
'I definitely wish I could sleep like this every night,' you whisper happily, once again snuggling into the soft fabric of Changbin's sweater.
'You could, you know,' Changbin says. 'The guys don't mind having you here. They love you.'
'Hmm, they just love me for my ability to catch whatever animal crawls into your dorm,' you joke.
'That's not true, they love you for way more than that.' You don't even have to look at your boyfriend to know that he's pouting. 'And so do I.'
'I know, babe,' you reassure him, lifting your head so you can kiss his chin. 'And I love them.'
'What about me?'
'Hmm,' you hum, pretending to think hard and Changbin lets out a fake enraged breath before he tickles your sides. You squeal loudly and bat his hand away.
'I love you the most, silly,' you giggle, pushing yourself up on your elbow so you can drape yourself over his chest and look at him.
'More than chocolate?' Changbin grins, his eyes twinkling. 'Puppy's? Draco Malfoy?'
You reach up to touch his cheek. 'I love you more than anything, Binnie.' *********************************************** a/n: soft binnie my beloved <3 I saw a post the other day that the world needs more Bin fluff fics and I agreed, so here we are hehe xxx

You elbowed your way through groups of people, ignoring the disgruntled looks sent in your direction. You suddenly felt completely sober, the fuzziness in your mind replaced by sheer panic. Toges text repeated over and over in your mind, the possibilities forming into endless images and scenarios. As much as you wish you didn’t, you knew exactly who they were talking about. Megumi and Kamo.
The string lights hung around the yard did little to illuminate the space, the primary source of light being whatever leaked out from the house. When the brisk outdoor air hit you, your eyes darted around, very quickly recognizing where they were. It was pretty obvious, with the crowded people and nauseating sounds of the altercation.
Panda, being the tallest of the bunch, was the first you spotted. You used him like a landmark as you weaved your way around, joining your group of friends near the centre of the action. When you were met with the sight before you, you felt as if you’d travelled back in time. There he was, in all of his glory. Blood trickling down the side of his face, though he looked to be in a much better condition than his opponent. Megumi versus Noritoshi, a fight driven by irrational jealousy and the effects of alcohol. His knuckles were battered, the crimson evidence of his rage staining the skin over the joints.
He was just about to pull his fist back; just about to land another hit on the man, but then his eyes met yours. They softened, undeniably so, his grip on Kamo’s shirt loosening and arm lowering. Noritoshi took this opportunity to roughly pull from his grasp, giving Megumi a shove backwards on his way. He briefly passed you as he shoved through the crowd, retreating from the scene.
“Control your dog,” he spat roughly before leaving you slack jawed and blinking in your place. Your eyes hadn’t moved from Megumi, the world around you seeming to dissipate, leaving just the two of you. You longed to reach out to him—no, your soul longed for him, longed to feel the touch and unity of his presence.
By what seemed like muscle memory you moved forward, grabbing Megumi’s hand and ignoring the worried shouts of your friends. The warmth of his palm–or was that blood?–pressed gently into yours, the only thing keeping you grounded as you guided him away from the people. He followed you into the house without a second thought, blinded by trust, intoxication, and familiarity all in one. You’d been here before, he knew the drill.
The familiar muggy atmosphere greeted you as you rushed through different rooms, the building seeming like a maze as you so desperately tried to find a washroom that wasn’t occupied by students, either puking or too immersed in each other to even notice you barging in.
He trailed behind you like a lost puppy dog the entire time. He didn’t speak a word, he didn’t know if he knew how to anymore. Honestly, he was scared. Scared to speak to you, scared that if he dared to open his mouth everything would come spilling out. The bits of him he kept tucked away deep inside were itching to reveal themselves, crawling up his throat and making it tighten with the threat of guilty tears. He could barely face you. He felt like such a complete and total asshole. Ignore you for a week, snap at you, ignore you for another week, then almost kiss you and fight your boyfriend (as he’d begun referring to him as) in the same night? Who even was he? He felt as if he’d regressed years, being the same immature brat he’d been the first time he lost you except much more angry and much more aware. Shame gnawed at him like a plague, eating him from the inside out. Not that he necessarily knew himself very well beforehand, but any grasp of his character seemed to be lost the moment he saw you with… him.
Finally, after countless trips down hallways and up flights of stairs, you found a place. A small tile washroom with a flickering light above the sink, chilly and empty. It didn’t do much to lighten the mood as you guided him in, your hand parting from his and leaving him feeling oddly empty as he sat on the low marble counter.
He may as well have been a mime, dead silent as he watched you search the inventory of the room for a cloth. You muttered something under your breath, he couldn’t hear you. His ears rang with anxiety and his own thoughts, growing louder and louder until they were screaming at him. ‘You fucked it all up. You’re such an idiot. No wonder she chose him.’
“You’re so stupid,” you huffed, extending to your full height with a washcloth in hand. Well, he knew that already.
“Mm,” he replied, a lazy hum. He couldn’t find it in himself to respond, let alone argue. There wasn’t a point, you were right anyway.
Suddenly you were fourteen again, scolding him for getting into yet another fight. Yet again he’d developed some rivalry with your newest love interest, for reasons you couldn’t understand. He wished you did, that would’ve made this so much easier. Despite your anger and hurt, your hands were gentle and warm, every press of the warm wet cloth against his skin a soft caress.
“I don’t– I don’t get you, Megumi,” you began, deciding to focus intently on your handiwork to avoid looking at him. If you saw that desperate, intent look on his face, you knew you’d break. You couldn’t, not yet. Though the only thing he was thinking was that you’d said his name, the familiar syllables rolling from your tongue with ease. Just like it had when he’d gotten ahead of himself, when he’d almost kissed you. He hated the way your voice sounded when you said his last name, made something bitter swirl in his gut.
“You’ve been so weird lately.” Your voice was soft, almost afraid. It was a tone he hadn’t heard from you before, and he hated to be the cause of it. “You walk back into my life and everything is normal, great even. We spend months getting close and I’m actually happy, and you aren’t weird at all, in fact, you’re nicer to me than anyone. Then you completely shut me out, and you won’t even tell me why. You tell me you can’t, I don’t buy it,” you took a shaky breath. Your hand had stilled, simply hovering in the air. “And then you almost kissed me, and–and then you leave. You– I–..” you began to stutter, blinking away unshed tears. His heart clenched, feeling unfamiliar and afraid. He’d only seen you cry twice, the first being he’d found you alone in the rain on a dark stormy night and the second being when he’d taken you to see some sad dog movie (which he’d insisted wasn’t a date). You never spoke of the former after that.
“[name],” he whispered. Someone should’ve started tallying how much he’d said that tonight, you were sure they’d have a full page by now. That wasn’t a bad thing, though.
“Do you like me or not? I’m sick of this back and forth and I’m sick of using Kamo as a distraction and I’m sick of feeling like this just because you’re a ‘coward’. Am I too much? I just need you to tell—“
“If you want me to tell you, you have to let me speak,” he cut you off, taking the hand holding the cloth and gently pushing it away. “You aren’t too much. That’s the thing about you, you’re just you and it’s just right. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry that I’m a coward. It’s just– you make me feel all of these things and I hate it, makes me feel weak. I am. You make me weak and you always have, fuck– it’s been this way since middle school.”
You drew in a breath, trying to process his words. The effects of the alcohol lingered, but the both of you had somewhat sobered up by now.
“You deserve better. You… you deserve everything. I can’t give you that, maybe Kamo can. I see why you went for him and that’s what hurts the most,” he whispered, voice oddly gentle. His throat felt tight and he had to stop speaking or else you’d notice the way his eyes stung, voice cracking. He was always a sad, clingy drunk.
“Can’t you see? I don’t want better. There isn’t better for me, Megumi. I haven’t even spoken to Kamo since you stopped talking to me because I realized that,” you said, a weak sob chasing your words. He stared at you, wide eyed and ridiculously pretty as he tried to process what you were saying. He wanted to believe you, but could he?
“I’ve always loved you. Maybe if you payed more attention to that instead of swinging at every guy that glances in my direction, this could’ve gone much smoother.”
“… you love me?”
“Too soon?”
“No,” he shook his head. “I just… don’t understand, I guess. I’m not exactly one to be loved.”
“Don’t say that. You’re wrong. So wrong it’s laughable, actually,” you said, feeling your lip tremble as a soft, almost sad smile crossed your face.
You didn’t realize when you’d gotten so close. You were brought back to a few hours before, when you’d almost gotten this until todo had sauntered by. But now you were in the secluded peace of the shabby tile restroom, not the most romantic place, but that was the last thing on your minds.
Your lips met gently, almost chaste before parting. He breathed, “I’m sorry, are you sure you–“
“Please.”
It was barely enough time to breathe before he was surging forward once again, this time far more passionate and with a desperation he wasn’t even sure resided in him until that very moment. You wanted him to kiss you. No, you wanted him period. He wanted to kick himself for not noticing, for spending literal years believing someone like you couldn’t feel for him as he felt for you.
His bruised hand caressed the nape of your neck, the other slithering around your waist and tugging you closer. His brows were furrowed, the love radiating from him so deep it formed a crease between them. You both tasted like booze and the music still shook the floor with every beat, but every bit of it washed away with every passing second of his lips on yours.
You craved him like a vampire lusted for blood, and he kissed you like a deserted man that had found his oasis. It was sloppy and messy and filled with want, teeth occasionally clashing in your drunken frenzy. You didn’t feel drunk, though, you felt more aware than you ever had in your life. In that moment you were sure he was the love of your life, and you could see the years ahead stretching before you like a calendar all planned out. You wanted to see his hair grow grey and his wisdom form lines on his face, you wanted to spend the rest of your life holding him like this. His black locks of hair were soft between your fingers, and he let out a gentle groan against your lips as you tugged. His teeth dragged over your bottom lip and you shuddered, feeling goosebumps erupt all over your skin.
When you parted, all he could do was look at you. Almost curiously, he ran a thumb over your bottom lip, right where he’d nibbled just a moment before.
When he met your eyes, he realized he had forgotten to say something rather important back. It was hard to say, felt as if it was stuck in his throat, but the buzz he had helped.
“I love you,” he said, voice suddenly hoarse. He stood by the idea that you deserved better than him, you deserved more. But just this once, he wanted to be selfish.
When you dived back in for another taste of him, you swore the declaration had made his lips taste sweeter. Sweet and soft and undeniably him, just like you liked it.

eddie munson x fem reader
warnings: mostly fluff but all my works are 18+, established relationship, fear of flying, a very dramatic nose bleed and eddie being an adorable but horny mf
a/n: i recently started rewatching supernatural again, and in doing so i came to the conclusion that dean and eddie are very similar. so this is a little something that’s loosely based off a scene in season 1, episode 4: phantom traveler. enjoy xx.
Tumblr media
“are you seriously humming enter sandman right now?” you ask, amusement creeping into your voice as you glance over beside you.
only to see your boyfriend. with his cheeks flushed, leg bouncing erratically and ringed fingers gripping tightly onto the armrest nestled between you.
when you originally brought up the idea to book a flight to visit your folks for the holidays, instead of making the almost 10 hour trek to good ole’ minnesota, eddie had seemed all for it.
he encouraged it actually.
making some joke about how his “decrepit, aching twenty-six year old body” couldn’t handle another 10 hour drive.
however, the closer the trip loomed, the more reluctant eddie became. and he tried every which way to get you to cancel the flight and make the dreaded drive instead. but that was an argument he wasn’t going to win.
it wasn’t until the plane began to ascend into the air that the reason for his sudden reluctance became blatantly obvious.
eddie munson was scared, no scratch that—petrified of flying.
and try as you may, you just found that new tidbit to be even more endearing.
eddie gives you a sideways glare as you attempt to hide your grin. and really it shouldn’t be this funny. but maybe your lack of sleep from the early morning drive to the airport is finally beginning to weigh on you and soon the delirious giggles will start to kick in.
“yes, it calms me,” he huffs, gaze tearing away from you to glance out the small window of the plane.
“well you don’t look very calm to me.”
you rest a hand on his bouncing knee, just as another round of turbulence rocks through the cabin. and your amusement quickly delves into concern as he grips your arm to pull you closer into his side.
“okay—that cannot be normal!” he nearly whines, leaning his head back against the seat.
“baby, it’s just a little turbulence. you know you’re more likely to die in a car accident than on an airplane, right?”
while he appreciates your attempt to ease his mind a bit, it’s seriously not working.
“nice try, but i’ve seen final destination, sweetheart. i know how this shit ends.”
and you can’t help but roll your eyes at his dramatics.
soon his humming starts back up, becoming a lot louder. and earning him a solid kick in the back from the teenager seated in the row behind you. the kick seems to be perfectly timed however. as the force of it and another jostle of the plane has his body flying forward, his nose smashing directly into the seat in front of him.
his pained groan has your temper flaring, ready to whip your head around and give that shit head kid a piece of your mind. but you freeze when you notice the way he’s cradling his nose. your gaze following the drops of crimson that have dribbled down his chin and onto his shirt.
“shit, eddie you’re bleeding.”
he makes a noise in confirmation, but before he can utter some sarcastic remark you have unbuckled both of your seatbelts and hauled him to his feet.
the flashing seatbelt sign be damned.
a flight attendant tries to stop you on your way down the aisle toward the bathroom, but you’re having none of it.
“miss, you both need to return to your—”
and if looks could kill, this whole plane would come crashing down.
“either you let me through so i can help clean him up, or he makes a mess of your aircraft. your choice.”
while you can tell she wants to argue, seeing the blood beginning to seep through the space between his fingers has her moving aside to let you pass.
“christ, sweetheart.” eddie groans when you carefully shove him inside the small bathroom and squeeze in behind him.
“sit, now.” you order.
he does as instructed, spreading his legs so you can slip in between them. you grab a wad of the practically sheer toilet paper, running a corner of it beneath the stream of water.
“keep the bridge of your nose pinched, it’ll help stop the bleeding.”
and when you turn back toward him, your brows pull together in confusion. his lips are stretched in a toothy grin, any trace of his anxiety now forgotten.
at least for the moment.
you begin to gently dab at the drying blood on his upper lip, thankful that most of the gushing had ceased for the time being. and eddie winces slightly once you start to clean around his nose.
“why are you looking at me like that?” you ask, having felt his burning gaze from the moment he sat down.
“you’re just…” he trails off, slipping his fingers through the loop of your jeans to tug you closer—if that were even possible. “really fuckin’ sexy when you’re bossy.”
and a subtle glance down has you huffing out a laugh of disbelief.
“eddie, do you seriously have a boner right now?”
and he just grins wider.
“guilty as charged.”

The smile on Aaron’s face slowly fades as he takes in your frozen stance. You’re staring at him like he just shot you in the back and worry starts to fill him, “Honey..?” waving his hand in front of your face, hoping it would be enough to break you out of your stupor.
“Hello?” Still waving his hand in your face, your eyes darted to his. Your body is in a state of shock– in your mind, there’s a tiny version of you desperately digging her way out of a landslide of disbelief. Waves and waves of doubts and insecurities hindering you from processing what is happening.
Aaron watches as your mouth moves with barely any sound coming out. Like a fish out of water, you’re scrambling, “W-what?” That’s… a bit too shaky to be good.
He pauses to think. The doubts are starting to creep up on him.
Maybe he was too rash with his question.
Maybe that wasn’t the best way to spring it on you.
Maybe he should have waited for a better time.
Maybe he should have planned something.
Maybe she isn’t ready.
Maybe she just doesn’t want to marry me.
He tries hard to swallow all these dark thoughts, clearing his throat to fake the confidence that’s slowly diminishing, “I said, ‘Marry me.’” After he says those words again he stills, hoping that this time he’ll get an answer. And that.. it would be the answer he so badly wants.
But time slows down and his heart soon follows as he watches tears start to pool in your eyes. You’re shaking your head– they’re tiny shakes and you look panicked. This isn’t good. Not good at all.
He really wasn’t expecting this. It never occurred to him you’d say no. Or ..not yes. Aaron’s mind is running a million miles per hour. He doesn’t know what to do, or say. He barely even knows how he feels. And so he defaults to doing the one thing he does best (as a prosecutor at least): object.
This is triggered by your movement. You move around him, leaving the kitchen towards your living room. Your goal was to sit on the couch, craving some stability as your legs get weaker the more you’re processing what was asked, how you reacted, and how it could be coming across.
But Aaron’s legs are longer than yours. Before you even reach the couch, he’s holding your arm firmly and gently at the same time. He’s got that furrow in his brows that makes him look stern, but his eyes betray him as you can clearly see the worry in them.
“Well yes!” he says in disagreement. He doesn’t understand why you haven’t said yes, and as much as he isn’t the kind of man to ever force a lady into anything, a part of him is scared of what he’ll hear if he asks you why you’re not saying yes.
Though instead of allowing that fear to paralyze him, he allows it to control him. To bear its face because the softer, more rational part of him is hiding.
You’re avoiding his gaze, crossing your arms– you’re turning away from him. “No- Aaron, you– I don– I ca–”
You know he’s studying you. You can feel his eyes roaming your face, your neck, your body. He’s taking in everything he can because you’ve given him absolutely nothing so far. And oh how you wish you could voice it all out.
You just wish it was easy to say I don’t think I’m enough for you. What if you realize one day that I’m not good enough? Are you sure? Are you sure about this? About me? What if you start to want someone smarter? Prettier? Hotter? What if you want someone who is as accomplished or important as you? What if you get bored of me? What if–
You’re broken out of your thoughts when he suddenly straightens. He looks as if he’s realized something and the next thing you know you’re hit by a gust of wind because he’s running up the stairs.
Within an instant you run after him. A dozen scenarios are running through your head, the worst being Aaron packing your things because he’s going to ask you to leave. Your heart beats faster as you reach the top of the steps. You peek into your room and see him rummaging through drawers.
Your worries quiet significantly when you realize they’re his drawers. And just when you’re about to approach him, he turns around meeting you halfway. You’re both illuminated by the sunlight that’s coming through the bedroom window you’re standing in front of.
He’s still. He’s got a serious look on his face. You take him in, trying to read him but he’s got his profiler look on– unreadable and determined. His voice rattles you, “I’m sorry. That was a mistake.” Firm and devoid of any emotion.
Oh god.
You’re shaking your head, reaching to hold him by his arms. You start to cry, “Aaron please, that’s not what I–” but… he’s going down on one knee.
What?
He watched multiple emotions flicker on your face. Defeat, panic, confusion– “It was a mistake. I shouldn’t have said that. I– I planned to do it better than that. I don’t know why I let it slip out, you deserve better than that.”
Before you can process it, Aaron’s holding out a ring. He’s holding your hand in the other while tears are streaming down both your faces. You have no idea how you heard it but you guess it’s simply a testament to how attuned you are to him when he whispers, “Please, please, please. Will you marry me, honey?”
Time stops. Literally. You can feel your heart in your chest beating louder, heavier. It’s pounding as if begging to be heard. Begging to let Aaron know that it beats for him and him only. You’re lowering yourself to kneel before him. You want to see his face properly. His eyes. His nose. His lips. This is the man you love. This is the man you want to marry. Your eyes are simply capturing every angle of this moment.
You’re leveled now. Equals. You grab both his hands in yours and you stare into his brown eyes. You want him to know you mean it, as you nod your head slowly and breathe out, “Yes.” A smile breaks across his face, tears starting to stream again.
You watch him as he tries to put the ring on your finger, getting it on the first try even if his sight is slightly hindered by his tears of happiness and relief. The sun makes the ring sparkle, catching your attention and you look at it properly for the first time.
It’s beautiful. Aaron would argue that the stone screams you – grace, loyalty, peace. He catches your eye and the both of you start to smile. You start to giggle, wrapping your arms around his neck while his arms snake around your waist.
He buries his head in your neck, breathing in your scent while silently thanking the heavens for granting him this. You break apart, startled to hear tiny footsteps nearing. The both of you start to stand up from the floor, straightening yourselves out and wiping the remaining tears staining your faces.
You both look to the door, waiting for the little boy to show himself. You hear a soft knock right before the door opens slowly, a head peeking in, “Daddy?”
Aaron goes to the door, opening it more for Jack to come in. The little boy goes straight to you and you pick him up in your arms with ease, resting him on your hip. You have your left hand holding him stable, and even though the little boy’s still groggy with sleep he notices the sparkling addition to your hand.
You take notice of how his little face lights up in excitement and you have no idea what about it he understands, “I help Daddy buy you that!” His voice is full of pride, genuinely proud that he had played a part in picking.
You’re confused, not fully understanding what Jack means. Looking to Aaron for an answer, you’re surprised to find him blushing. He looks shy and he’s shrugging at you but you can tell he’s trying hard to play it cool. The smile fighting its way on his face betrays him.
You decide to take your chance on the adorable kid that is now fiddling with your ring, watching in amazement at how much it’s twinkling in the light. Children are the most honest people you know anyway. Pursing your lips with squinted eyes, you investigate “What do you mean, bubba?”
“Daddy asked me what ring pop you want, so I asked you when we watched Spiderman and you said your favorite is the green one so I tell Daddy you want the green one!”
Your heart stutters and the tears start coming in again. Aaron asking Jack for his opinion for your engagement ring. Jack thinking it's a ring pop. Jack asking for your favorite ring pop flavor. Jack being proud that you got the ring you want, pop or not.
Brought out of your thoughts by Jack wanting to leave your hold, you put him down. You watch as he happily walks out of your room, presumably to go to the kitchen. You look at Aaron again, and just as you’re about to say something about what you just found out, you realize one thing. Spiderman.
You gasp. Covering your mouth in surprise, you slap his arm lightly, “That was our third date!”
Aaron laughs loudly, rushing out of the room before you can throw questions at him or even comments about how insane he is. He couldn’t care less. He was right.

BURNT SKIN - CS
Tumblr media
No Nut November - Day 27
NNN Masterlist...
-➤ You spend ages hiding your intimacy issues from Chris but he gets you to open up
Tumblr media
“I don’t need your pity, Chris.” You’d pushed him back moments earlier, the sudden flip of emotions making him confused.
“Is that what you think this is? Why do you push me away every single time like this!” nothing but silence left you, your chest rising and falling erratically while the grip on your wrist tightened. You were so close this time.
“Well? Why is it that any time I think I’ve finally gotten close to you, to loving you, I get pushed back. Why do you give me this- this false hope that me and you are good.” He didn’t seem angry or disappointed, just… frustrated. You understood why, he’d been patient for months so of course he was wearing thin.
“Do you trust me…?” desperation filled you, desperation to get him to understand you. Just anything to coat the air, blunt the sharpness of the hurt in your heart.
“Of course, I –“
“Then why do you act like my touch burns through your skin!” you couldn’t crack your fingers anymore, the breaths being deeper but there was no air. All of your fingers mangled around each other, scratching the sides of your skin where you’d neglected their length. He couldn’t understand like you did.
You were gripping the same skin he touched, soothing it from the unfamiliarity. It wasn’t your own body touching yourself, the unknown territory was eating you up. For months you noticed the lingering touches Chris would give you, a nudge on your arm at a funny joke or a palm on the small of your back as he passed through. It all felt the same. Easily ignorable and bearable. When it was just you two alone you were suddenly conscious of everything you did. Breathing became irregular and you suddenly didn’t have enough saliva to swallow.
He didn’t know why and neither did you at first. Over time it all started to click together a little more. Things on your body were pointed out to yourself. Your stomach, your jawline, your thighs. Your imperfections. If Chris saw them, what would he think of you. Would he be as disgusted as you are in yourself.
“You’d hate it.” Your words were shallow and mumbled under tight lips. Your eyes twitched, the line of tears shaking where you stood. “I don’t have the body of a lover. It’s not something I love.”
“What…?”
“You’d hate it.” A pause stood between you; a choked sob barely held back. “I- I hate the way I look; the way my body isn’t the way I want it. I’ve tried so much shit and I feel shitty. So, I don’t let people near me, because my biggest fear- is that one day, you’ll see me the way I see myself.”
“Is that… why you’ve pushed me away, because you’re scared, I’ll just leave. Have I ever given you a reason to feel like that?” You ponder for a moment, staring into his eyes for honesty.
“I tell you that you are beautiful whenever I get the chance because its true. I honestly admire your beauty so much. I see you cooking and I just lean against the frame watching you because it reminds me so much of those stupid films you watch. I watch you communicate with strangers, especially that barista at the café all because you liked her glasses. I’m telling people about your little habits because they are adorable to me. Your beauty isn’t in your body, its in you. And i love you.”
Tears silently fell as he talked, his legs bringing him closer once again. His hand so desperately wanted to reach out, hold and comfort you. If you’d let it happen.
You didn’t care in that moment, but maybe you would tomorrow. Right now? Pulling him into your arms felt right.
Progress was progress.

Chapitre 10
“It’s been three fucking days, Rhys,” Azriel exploded, standing up from behind the bushes where they were hiding. He looked down at his two brothers kneeling beside him, his breathing shaky and rapid. He tried to calm down but nothing worked. He never could. Ever since he had met Luxiana, he had been angry all the time, angry because fear was devouring him. He needed to be near her to know she was safe, but the whole world seemed to want to get between her and him.
Rhysand blew out a breath as he closed his eyes, used to his brothers' mood swings during those last weeks, but he had to say that these last few days were even worse. Even for him. He also had so much more trouble concentrating. He knew it was because it had been three weeks since they had returned from the Archerons and that, consequently, Luxiana was with Tamlin during all this time.
He wasn't sleeping anymore. Cassian wasn't eating anymore and Azriel was screaming and fighting all the time. They were losing their minds. But they were so scared. So scared that something would happen to their soulmate. So many bad things could happen to her that it was driving the Illyrians completely crazy with worry.
They hadn't heard from her and hadn't been able to take any news anyway. Firstly so as not to arouse Tamlin's suspicions but also because they were busy elsewhere. Busy finding a reliable way to capture the Suriel. They had even completely neglected the other matters concerning the King of Hybern, they weren't even looking for the second part of the book when it was more than vital to find it. No, as soon as they got back, they had thrown themselves body and soul into the search for the Suriel. Even Cassian had read countless books to try to find a way to capture the creature.
They had ended up, after two weeks of intensive searching, going to a dark and gloomy forest to the west with the aim of setting a trap for the Suriel. They had read in some books that the creature had a taste for freshly dead chickens.
They had been hiding in the bushes for three days, hoping the Suriel would fall into their traps. And the number of chickens they had to kill, and which now lay in a mountain in front of them, was astronomical. But the Suriel was still not there.
Cassian stood up in turn, sighing. "He's right Rhys, it's not working. We're wasting our time. We have to find another solution. We have no more time to waste away from her. I... I can't anymore." He looked sad and tired. The dark circles under his eyes made him look puny and he had lost a little weight.
They all three looked equally bad anyway.
Rhys stood up too, his eyes downcast. They were right. They were so pitiful. But what else could they do? It was a dead-end solution. He needed to know if this woman was their soulmate but at the same time it seemed so true that it seemed wrong to have to ask. Besides, in the meantime she was at Tamlin's, she might be in danger and that was killing him. "Alright," he breathed with all his might, "let's find another solution."
Cassian nodded and Azriel gritted his teeth. He had been gritting his teeth for weeks anyway. “Let’s go,” he spat nastily but involuntarily.
Rhysand took a step forward, moving closer to his brothers so he could teleport them with him. But suddenly, a furtive shadow danced at the corners of their pupils, making them turn their heads to the side.
They almost jumped, their eyes widening in surprise. There, perched on a huge fallen and half-rotten tree, only a few steps away from them, was a pale, livid creature. The Suriel. It had just appeared and sat on the trunk, as if nothing had happened. The creature crossed its legs as it raised one of its thin hands, playing with its long fingers and making appear with a strange magic a white teacup more ordinary than anything there that was here.
The three Illyrians gaped, even less surprised when the Suriel took a sip of his steaming hot tea. What the hell was going on? They glanced at their trap and frowned when they saw it still intact. The Suriel had come on his own?
“You had questions for me?” the Suriel spoke in a distant voice, as if from another dimension. He took another sip of his drink, savoring the flavor of the Illyrians’ surprise in front of him.
“You…” Rhysand began, searching for words, still not believing his eyes. He glanced at his brothers who looked as confused as he did. He took a step forward, towards the pale creature. “You surrendered on your own?”
The creature nodded and raised his teacup into the air. "You had questions," he repeated as his only reply.
Cassian frowned. He was going to ask the Suriel why he was here. Why he had come of his own free will, but the omniscient creature already knew his question. It answered him without Azriel even having to speak. "Because you have questions to ask me, the answers to which are extremely important."
Azriel narrowed his eyes. He was disturbed. His shadows didn't even seem to detect the creature and the fact that it surrendered itself was more than suspicious. It was hiding something and he didn't have time for secrets. Not when his soulmate was in danger. Not when Luxiana was possibly his soulmate and that he had already wasted too much time away from her. "Why didn't you surrender before then? Three days ago when we arrived, for example, or even before if you know everything. We've been trying to meet you for weeks."
“Because it wasn’t the right time, now it is. Now, you are ready to hear the answers to your questions.” The creature stared at them with a blank, creepy gaze that made Cassian shiver. The Suriel didn’t seem to feel any emotion, but when he looked at the three Faes in front of him, feelings stirred in his chest. Their relationship with that girl would determine the future of the world. “Ask your questions.”
It was at that moment that the three Illyrians realized. The Suriel was in front of them. It didn't matter why or how he had gotten there. He was there. That meant they were going to have the answers to their questions. The questions they had been asking themselves for weeks.
A ball of anxiety crushed their stomachs in one violent blow, burning their eyes, making their breaths cut and their muscles tremble. It might all be over very quickly. She might not be their soulmate and then it would all be done. But damn, they were so afraid of that. Of losing this woman. And if she was their soulmate… Yes, it would fill them with joy, of course, but also with anxiety.
A silence fell. A silence that none of the three Illyrians wanted to break. They were too afraid of the answers they might get. Normally, they could have been brave but today, this fear was overwhelming. After all, they didn't only have their fear and anxiety to deal with but those of their two brothers as well.
Cassian looked down. He was tired. He and his brothers were warriors. They had lived through wars and battles. Seen and suffer through horrors but they had never been so afraid and they had never felt so cowardly as they did now. It wasn't him. It wasn't them. This had to end. He needed to know.
Azriel froze, with all his muscles tense. He was terrified, he felt almost in danger of death. Then suddenly, he thought of Luxiana, he saw her smiling face in his mind and smelled her vanilla scent even though she wasn't there. He relaxed. He had no doubts anyway. He knew who she was to him. She was his soulmate and that was all that mattered. He just needed her. And then, he could accept sharing her with his brothers if it meant he could have her for himself a little.
Rhysand had to ask the question. He had to, he knew it. It had to come from him. He was Cassian and Azriel's lord. He had to help them through their trials. He had to be braver and more courageous than they were. But the truth was, if he were truly brave and courageous, he wouldn't be here. He would have left Luxiana far away from them, far away from him. Far away from the danger they are for her. But he was selfish. Terrified and selfish. He wanted her. "Is Luxiana our soulmate?" He spoke, softly, trembling, almost inaudibly, but the Suriel didn't really need to hear the question.
The Suriel was just waiting for him to ask it, because that would mean they were ready to hear the answer. And now, they were. "Yes," he answered simply.
A weight lifted from the shoulders of the three Illyrians before crashing down on them again, making them capsize and stumble, as if the earth beneath their feet had trembled. Rhysand fell to his knees, his gaze fixed straight ahead. Cassian let himself fall buttocks to the ground in the same state as Rhysand. Azriel tensed his muscles so much that he gained a few centimeters.
Rhysand couldn't breathe anymore but at the same time he took in deep breaths of fresh air that filled his lungs. So many conflicting feelings were overwhelming him. His eyes began to sparkle. She was his soulmate. Luxiana was truly his soulmate. He began to smile, his heart beating painfully in his chest. Then his joy faded. She was his soulmate and she was with Tamlin, his worst enemy. She was his soulmate and she was human. But he had met his soulmate!
Cassian's legs couldn't hold the weight of the enormity that had fallen on him. This sexy, intelligent and characterful woman was really his soulmate? He was so lucky. But at the same time he felt cursed by the cauldron. His wings fell limply on his back, he no longer had the strength to make them stand up straight. A barbed wire surrounded his throat. His soulmate was a human. She was fragile. She only had a few precious days before leaving him... He couldn't bear it. His eyes began to burn. He had to take advantage of the time he still had with her.
Azriel felt empty. Completely and abysmally empty. He had experienced so much in the last few weeks and it had all stopped suddenly. He didn't realize it. He didn't understand. It wasn't possible. There were three of them. He couldn't accept sharing his soulmate with his brothers. "It's impossible. She can't be our true mate. Not for all three of us. We can't have multiple soulmates."
He thought out loud but the Suriel had only been waiting for this opportunity. And the intrigued eyes of Cassian and Rhysand who had looked up at him were just waiting for an answer. "It is very rare, so rare that the history of the world has only seen this phenomenon occur three times. Three small times in billions of years of existence."
Azriel shook his head, still not believing it. "But how? Why?"
The Suriel took a slow sip of tea, waiting to fully capture the attention of the three Illyrians. "Sometimes, when the history of the world is at one of its turning points, fate takes the side of a part. Unfortunately, it cannot drastically influence the course of history but it can rig it. Help its favored side win by giving it advantages and facilities."
Cassian stood up slowly, reeling, just as confused as his two brothers. "I don't understand," he said, feeling like none of this had to do with them or Luxiana.
The Suriel already knew what the Illyrien with the red siphons was going to say, he smiled. "Some people are born to influence the history of the world, such as Luxiana. And fate took your side by binding you to her."
Rhysand sank further towards the ground, somehow stopping himself from falling completely onto the damp earth. Each of the Suriel's words made his realization and what was happening grow ever larger.
“Why the three of us?” Azriel cried, his eyes burning, his fists clenched. There had to be a reason. There had to be a reason why fate had decided that he would not be enough for his soulmate on his own.
"Because destiny is not the only entity to decide. Because other factors that come into decision have decided to give a balance to everything. And that's what they did with Luxiana. A being so capable of great things cannot subsidize for eternity. That's why she is so fragile. So strong but so fragile. It is the balance of nature that destiny wanted to thwart a little by binding you to her. To protect her. To save her so that she can influence the world as she is supposed to do."
Azriel realized suddenly. Like a hammer blow that fell on him, breaking him into lots of little pieces. His legs gave away and he joined the ground with Rhysand, the air no longer even penetrating his throat that was too tight.
The three Illyrians, trembling until then, understood. They finally understood. They had been bound to Luxiana by destiny to love her, cherish her and protect her. To allow her to change the course of history.
It necessarily implied that she would be in danger and that terrified them but it also implied that everything made sense. That she was so important to the world that destiny had decided to bind her to the three strongest warriors in this country. Their soul mate. It was now a certainty. She was their soul mate. She was their soul mate!
Cassian laughed. He laughed with all his might, bending in two to hold his stomach with both hands. The weight of worry and fear he had felt all those days had disappeared. He laughed with relief, then joy, then excitement. He was going to have to fight to protect his soulmate and damn it, he would do it with pleasure. He knew how to fight and he was even very good at it. His soulmate would be fine because he would protect her with all his might. She was his soulmate and he was going to be able to go get her, he was going to be able to spend time with her. His heart swelled in his chest and his dark circles almost disappeared by themselves. He had found his soulmate and she was incredible. She was perfect. And she was his soulmate.
Rhysand began to smile too, lightening up just as much as Cassian. Everything was explained. Everything. And at the same time, everything that the Suriel had just told them was so unimportant. So unimportant when he was now certain that he had met his soul mate. He was able to take a deep breath and although his heart was still a little tight with apprehension and fear, it didn't matter. It didn't matter because he would face the difficulties with his soul mate by his side. A tear ran down his cheek. He almost felt like he was floating in the air thinking about Luxiana and her scent. Already imagining the life they were going to have together. At four. That was why destiny had made him so close to his brothers. He no longer had any doubts about anything now. He was going to do everything to protect his soul mate. Everything. And he intended to enjoy his days with her.
Azriel closed his eyes and took a deep breath. In fact, he took several. He was terrified. He had to resign himself for the well-being of his soulmate, to share her with his brothers. He had to do it for her to be happy and to protect her. In truth, the more he thought about it, the more it chased away the enormous weight from his body. The more he thought about Luxiana loving her brothers, the calmer he became. As long as she was happy, that was what mattered. That was what he wanted more than anything. For her to be happy and safe. Especially since he was going to need his brothers' help to protect his clumsy soulmate. His Luxiana. The Suriel had said that nature had balanced things out by making Luxiana fragile, and he was so afraid of not being good at the task of protecting her. He was so afraid of failing. But at the same time, he began to vibrate. To vibrate with excitement. He had then deserved to meet his soulmate and even if destiny punished him by giving him a fragile woman, he would do penance and protect her with all his soul. She was human but he was not going to let her be hurt.
The Suriel suddenly laughed, startling the three Illyrians. "Is she?" he asked, taking a sip of his tea.
The three brothers slowly calmed down, and looked at each other in confusion. What was he talking about? No one had spoken and none of them had said anything.
"You should go," the Suriel said, interrupting their train of thought. "Go to her, because she's not going to affect the history if you're not by her side, and you won't be by her side if she falls in love with someone else."
The three of them froze, jumping up, suddenly looking cold and serious. They had just learned that Luxiana was indeed their soulmate. They had just learned that they could finally possess her and that nothing was holding them back anymore but now, the Suriel was telling them that she could fall in love with someone else.
"A redhead for example, one of the sons high lords. She seems to like him much more than she should."
“Lucien?” Azriel cried out, realizing who the Suriel was talking about. His heart began to pound wildly in his chest and his fists clenched. He should have killed that bastard when he had the chance. How dare he even think about stealing his soulmate?
"I'm going to crush that bastard's head!" Cassian spat, clenching his fists in front of him, imagining the redhead's face in them. He swore that if it was too late and his soulmate had started loving someone else, he would kill him to take his place. All his evil instincts were awakening under this jealousy. But now that he knew that Luxaina was his soulmate, he had no reason to hold them back because after all, she was his.
Rhysand felt a mixture of emotions. Fear, stress, but also joy and excitement. He had gotten a kind of green light from the Suriel to love this woman and that was all he had been waiting for. He felt like he had lived only for her. Only to meet her and although that was maybe a little bit of the case, it made him happy. She seemed so worth it. He was suddenly so eager to get to know her. She was his soulmate for goodness sake, the woman of his life. He had no reason to keep her away from him anymore, even less now that the Suriel had told him he had to protect her. "Let's go get her," he wanted to look up at the Suriel to thank him but in a cloud of strange magic, he disappeared.
They had no more time to waste. All three of them took a deep breath, calming themselves down, regaining a cool head, mentally preparing themselves, thinking of a plan. Then they teleported to Tamlin's. They were going to get their soulmate back.

I love how you talk about miles. <33 I just wanna ask if you have any spare thoughts on what a miles and eddie interaction would be like? I just keep thinking about how sassy he was with trager and the "trager juice" note. So it makes me wonder what notes he'd write about some psycho trying to "wife" him up and cut his junk.
Oohh that’s a interesting question, lovely anon!
How Miles would interact with Eddie?
Tumblr media
At first, he would be scared as shit. Of course.
Let's just say his sense of humor would take over as a way to get past his fear more than any of his other unpleasant encounters. Seeing all those mutilated corpses and wedding dresses he might think "this guy hasn't seen pussy in so long that he decided to create it" or something like that, Miles style.
He would be pleasantly surprised to see Eddie in a homemade wedding suit, especially after seeing Trager walking around with bare ass exposed.
Eddie, of course, is intent on making him his bride, he would call him “darling” and other feminine epithets. Miles would be annoyed and would yell back “I AM A MAN WHERE DO YOU SEE BOOBS?” or “Don’t try to pick me up you fucking bastard”.
After being caught, I think he would try to reason with him (not that it would do much good but Miles is a first-rate stubborn guy). He could say "come on, we have a lot in common, we want to be reasonable potential fathers" or "I can understand your bitchless behavior but I don't have to pay for it." But that would piss Eddie off even more, who in his delirium would fill him with misogynistic slurs. Miles at this point would stop being diplomatic and lose his mind yelling "you want a woman? PAY FOR HER"
If Eddie hadn't already stuck a knife in his chest (+ filling him with tear-jerking speeches like "to be a family we have to love each other" followed by a "STUPID BITCH") Miles would proceed to write in his notebook "FUCK this woman maker who seems to have come out of an Elvis Presley video clip lost in the deep web and seen by only three people who the next day found a dead body in their garden tried to cut off my dick! Even Freud would start taking drugs if he had anything to do with him. He thinks I'm his ideal wife, if he tries to do anything to me again I'll be the one to cut off his dick and make him swallow it" (bro is slightly pissed off)
When Eddie (finally) dies Miles looks at him with an evil smile on his mouth and comments: “May you find pussy in hell”

adult content featured, read at your own discretion
it was past 2 am. silence all throughout the neighborhood. all throughout the house. you slept soundly next to sunghoon, you occasionally twitching in your sleep.
“come to me.”
your eyebrows knitted confusingly in your sleep. behind your eyelids, you saw a dark shadow loom over you. it’s like seeing yourself in third person—an out of body experience.
watching yourself sleep next to sunghoon while this unknown figured stood over you quietly. just observing. just staring.
you couldn’t speak or make any movement.
but the figure’s outline was similar to ni-ki’s build. you gasped. it was ni-ki!
except when he turned around from your sleeping figure, he was ni-ki but he didn’t look like ni-ki.
blood covered his mouth, dripping down his chin. shirt covered in blood. fangs extended, pointy and ready to pounce on his next meal.
irises red and dark as the blood worn on his clothes. hair a mess, as if someone had been tugging at it. like pushing him away. his smile, eerie, unsettling, and nightmarish.
it gave you chills.
before you could react, ni-ki had you pinned against the wall, you unable to move. you couldn’t scream. you couldn’t move your limbs. you were helpless.
ni-ki’s nose ran against the length of your neck, teasing his fangs against your skin. ni-ki smiled against your skin, his teeth poking through your flesh.
you awoke with a scream, so blood curdling, you sure it woke up any sleeping animals nearby.
sunghoon sat up quickly, ready to fight and protect.
your hand rested on your chest, sobs breaking out of you, your chest heavy, you hyperventilating.
“calm down, baby, it’s okay, i’m here!” sunghoon tried to soothe you, but you fought him. he tried to hold and comfort you, but you pushed him away, thrashing at the covers, still fighting the demon you saw in your nightmare.
it didn’t take long before the 5 boys came running to sunghoon’s room—jay, heeseung, jake, jungwon, and sunoo.
all with confused, frightened, and terror written all over their faces.
you knew it was them, but all you could see was ni-ki’s frightening smile.
you started pulling at the shirt you was wearing, suddenly feeling claustrophobic as if you were being choked.
“love!” jay’s voice was deafening. his tone deeper, more authoritative to get you to snap out of this state of pain from your nightmare.
soon you stopped any screaming, yelping, crying, or any other noises. your face hid behind your hands as you sobbed quietly.
the boys were at a lost of words and what to do. how to comfort you. they didn’t want to startle you.
jay turned to some of the guys, “heeseung and jungwon, come with me. we’ll look over the premises to see if anything got too close to comfort on our property that shouldn’t have.”
jay was now worried. worried that something had also gotten to you. because sakura had reached out again, worried out of her wits.
jungwon and heeseung went with the older, as sunoo and jake stayed behind to keep you company with sunghoon.
“i’ll go get her some water and wet rags.” jake offered and walked out the room. you were a sweating mess.
sunoo observed you carefully, his sensitivity meter going way off. he felt so many emotions from you.
fear. anxiety. sadness. despair. confusion.
sunoo went to whisper your name as gentle as possible but you flinched.
flinched at sweet, innocent, caring sunoo.
sunghoon and sunoo exchanged a glance of puzzlement.
what or who got you so worked up?
outside the home, the three others found nothing. no footprints, no smells that didn’t belong, nothing.
“there’s nothing out here, jay!” jungwon called out.
jay nodded in agreement and the three went back in the house to check on you.
meanwhile ni-ki hid in the shadows, his powers masking his scent from anyone he was trying to hide from.
he didn’t mean to scare you. he promise he didn’t. you were just so alluring.
meanwhile behind ni-ki stood sunwoo. sunwoo with a sinful smile.
soon, you would belong to sunwoo and his kind.
︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
you awoke with a pounding headache the next morning. you were alone in sunghoon’s bedroom. for no reason at all, your heart started to race.
fear.
“sunghoon!” you yelled scared.
in no time, sunghoon had his door open, running to your side asking you what was wrong.
“i—i don’t know why im so fearful all of a sudden. im sorry!” you sobbed out an apology.
“no need to be sorry, babydoll. you’ve had a terrible night.” sunghoon comforted you and was happy that you finally let one of them do so.
you sobbed in his shoulder, gripping onto his body tight, afraid he might leave you to become a victim of something.
“babydoll, jay is going to want to know what happened.” sunghoon said patting your head. he used a thumb to wipe away a tear of yours.
you nodded in understanding. “i know, but how do i even explain something that i don’t even understand myself?”
sunghoon looked at you lovingly with worry. “what do you remember?” he whispered.
“i just remember being scared and fearful for my life. uncomfortable, like i was being watched from every angle.” you tried to explain.
sunghoon listened carefully, but it didn’t help that you didn’t even know what you saw.
“where is jay?” you asked.
“he went to talk with sakura and the other girls. something happened last night.” sunghoon explained.
you gasped. “what?”
sunghoon sighed. “garam, one of the girls claims she woke up in the middle of the night and found some guy standing at the edge of eunchae’s bed staring at her.”
“oh my!” you got goosebumps all over your body. “does she know who it was?”
sunghoon shook his head. “no, but sakura is worried it might’ve been ni-ki, although she can’t be sure.”
“why would she think that?”
sunghoon shrugged. “she just said that garam felt vampire vibes and the dude had dark hair but that was it. jay went to see if he could feel a linger of ni-ki in their house.”
“jay has to believe something if he even went to their house.”
“you’re right. jay does believe something is going on. he said the other day, he just unconsciously tried to read sakura’s thoughts and he could. that could only mean the tea they’re drinking isn’t working anymore.”
sunghoon explained more how the girls started to have personal items go missing and feeling sick more often. mainly eunchae. eunchae has became sickly the past week, paler each day, losing energy and being less like her self.
“what is jay going to do?”
“we have a guesthouse in the back. it’s still within our boundaries we’d be able to feel anything out of the ordinary. he’s gonna have them stay there.”
you nodded. this should be fun.
︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
later that day, you peeped from the back window of the library, watching jay, heeseung, jake, jungwon, and sunghoon move in the seraphim girls.
jay laughed at what sakura was saying. sunghoon making intense eye contact with zuha with a smile.
you swallowed a lump in your throat, suddenly feeling many emotions at once.
mainly jealousy.
but why? could it be because of jay and sunghoon’s past with sakura and kazhua?
but you knew those girls were no longer interested in those boys, at all. however, you couldn’t say the same about the boys.
“watcha looking at sweetheart?” ni-ki’s deep voice sounded from behind you.
you ignored him, continuing to stare out the window. jay could feel something, and when he looked up, he saw you staring back at him.
but what he saw behind you nearly terrified him. a dark shadow figure with red eyes, but then, it turned into ni-ki.
now he was seeing things. jay waved up at you, but you didn’t wave back. ni-ki did, with a smirk.
“worried your boy toys will find new play things?” ni-ki teased, “mhm, maybe now you can leave and get out of this arrangement like you wanted years ago”
you turned around, rolled your eyes at ni-ki, and pushed past him, out the library. sunoo was leaning against the wall, opposite of the library door way.
he smiled when he saw you, but then frowned seeing ni-ki.
sunoos radar was going off with ni-ki, but the worst thing was, he couldn’t pinpoint what it was.
“hey, you excited for the seraphims to be our new neighbors?” sunoo smiled brightly.
“not really.” you mumbled. sunoo frowned once again. your energy had gone down tremendously, jealousy and anger becoming a strong emotion of yours. it wasn’t like you at all.
ni-ki stayed silent behind you with a smile.
“are you okay?” sunoo asked carefully.
“not really.” you sighed. “i’m going for a walk—alone. i’ll be okay.” you quickly stated before sunoo could offer to come with or mention talking to jay or sunghoon first.
quickly making your way down the steps, you went out the front door, and made your way down the road for a quick walk.
you needed to try and get your emotions under control. you didn’t understand why you were feeling this way.
it’s not pregnancy hormones—they can’t get you pregnant.
it’s not your menstrual cycle—you honestly haven’t had that in a while (thank heavens!)
could it be a mental health thing? you were never officially diagnosed, but mental health did run in your family.
maybe anxiety? depression? bipolar? you didn’t want to diagnose yourself, knowing it was more complicated than some symptoms.
you were too in thought talking to yourself, you didn’t notice yourself being followed.
you hadn’t even noticed you made your way to the tree line near the forest were you caught ni-ki and those other vampires feeding.
“how the heck did i get here?” you gasped. it’s like you subconsciously came here.
a shadow stepped from behind a tree. dark hair, full lips. it was one of the vampires you saw that day.
you went to step back once, but he easily caught up to you, wrapping an arm around your waist to keep you still.
he tsked, “don’t think about it. you scream, i rip your throat out.”
you inhaled deeply. “i—i wasn’t.”
you was.
“ni-ki was right, you are a terrible liar.”
then the boy scolded down to you like you were a child. he even addressed you by name.
the thing was, ni-ki never told them your name. but you didn’t know that.
“who are you?”
“my name is sunwoo.” he smiled, slightly showing off his fangs.
“hi sunwoo, can you let me go now?” you asked trying to pull away but failed.
“mhm, no, i think i’ll keep you.”
“ni-ki knows i went out for a walk. he’ll notice i was gone too long and notify the others.”
“you sure about that?” sunwoo stated, your full name ending the sentence.
once again, you gulped. “huh?”
“how do you think i knew your name? this was all part of ni-ki’s game. i knew you followed him that one day to the woods.” sunwoo rattled off. he unwrapped his hand from your waist, instead circling you like prey.
“that’s—a lie!”
“it’s not, pretty. you saw what ni-ki does with us. did he tell you he killed a poor runaway the other day?” sunwoo laughed.
ni-ki killed someone? no, no that can’t be! you couldn’t believe it. you didn’t want to believe it.
but you saw what he can do. the damage he can do when he’s out of control.
“what does this have to do with me?”
“oh sweetheart, you’re gonna be my new favorite feeding station.”
“to hell i am!” you yelled. you went to push him, but he quickly caught you by your wrist.
“not a smart move.” he gritted, his irises turning red, the rest of his eyes, black.
sunwoo quickly wrapped his elbow against your neck and began choking you. not enough to kill you, but enough to make you pass out.

Hi lovely, maybe Billy gets a little drunk and confesses his feelings to a girl he’s on again/off again with. The only reason he’s been on again/ off again with her is because he was developing feelings for her and it scared him so now that he’s drunk it all comes spilling out 😭
Only when you have time love x
Thank you for requesting (and being patient with me lmao) <3
It had been a week since you had last seen Billy. A full week of not hearing his voice, feeling his touch. You missed him, but you weren't going to let yourself be so available this time.
You were just friends. That was it. Maybe a little bit more here and there, but he had proven that he didn't really care about you. Not in the same way you cared about him.
And it was miserable. Even if it was the right thing to do. It felt like your heart had been crushed, split into tiny little pieces. Just another girl on Billy's notch. And it seemed like he had already moved on, forgotten about you.
The sound of the window rattling drew your attention, snapping you away from your gaze on the ceiling as you pulled your headphones off of your ears. You watched, heart stalling in fear for a moment as someone pulled themselves inside. You faltered when you realized who it was.
"What are you doing?" You hissed, gaping in disbelief at the hard way Billy hit the floor. You rushed over, listening to the way he groaned as he rolled onto his side, rubbing his palms over his knees.
"Wanted to see you." His words were slurred, blue eyes hazy as a lazy smile formed on his lips. He was drunk. Definitely. You could smell the alcohol clinging to his skin.
"You couldn't call like a normal person?" You asked him seriously, shaking your head as you moved your arms around his torso.
"Didn't feel right." He mumbled tiredly, going dead weight in your arms as you tried to lift him. You grunted, stumbling before you set him back onto the ground.
"Are you alright in there?" Your mom’s voice rang from outside the door, making your veins freeze over as you quickly clamped a palm over Billy’s mouth before he could reply.
"I'm fine, mom!" You yelled back, whining at the frantic tone in your voice, "I just tripped is all. I'm okay though. Sorry for waking you up!"
"Do you need anything?" She asked, "It sounded like it hurt." She added as you cringed at the way Billy began to lick your skin. He chuckled, looking up at you in amusement as you wiped your hand dry on your pajama shorts.
"Uh," You paused, trying to keep Billy's hands to himself, "No. I'm okay, really. Have a good night!" You yelled at her, wincing as you listened to the sound of her footsteps retreating.
Billy rested his head against your hip, sighing deeply as his eyes fluttered shut. You shook your head, not wanting him to pass out on your floor.
"You scared the shit out of me." You told him seriously, positioning his feet onto the floor better before you forced him to stand this time.
"I knocked on your window," He groaned, "It's a long ways up." He gestured quickly towards the window before you shifted his arm over your shoulders, trying to keep him supported.
"You could've killed yourself." You told him seriously, feeling warm and out of breath by the time you got him to your bed. He collapsed, arms and legs outstretched as you tugged his boots off of his feet. You didn’t want your bed to get too dirty.
"But I didn't," He replied with a smirk, looking all cool and collected again, "Pretty damn cool if you ask me." He grinned as he rested his hands behind his head, his shirt lifting over his toned stomach in the process. You turned away, doing your best not to stare.
"Not cool at all," You argued back, "What are you doing here?" You asked him curiously, raising your eyebrows as he slowly inspected your room. Then turned back to you.
"I needed to see you." He mumbled softly, eyes softening as he continued to stare at you. You breathed in deeply, not daring to look away.
"Why?" You asked him softly, trying not to get defensive. Or angry. You didn't want to snap at him but you were still bitter. You didn't like feeling like you were able to be tossed away so easily.
“I missed you,” He slurred out finally, “Like a lot.” He added as he moved his palms to his sides slowly pushing himself up into a sitting position. Your heart hammered roughly inside of your chest from his words, despite his previous actions.
“You’ve been ignoring me.” You stated slowly, watching the way he traveled his eyes back towards the floor. You breathed in deeply, wondering if he would even answer you. Or if he would think you could go back to how things were. But you couldn't, not again. You didn't want to be ignored by him. It was killing you.
“I like you,” He mumbled as he brought his eyes back towards you, “A lot. You’re really pretty. And funny. And I hate when you’re around other guys.” He continued to speak underneath his breath, almost whispering it to you. Like it was some big secret.
“Oh.” You spoke in surprise, eyes widening as you tried to gain sense of what he had said. You hadn't expected that. Not at all.
“Yeah.” He pushed his fingers through his hair, his lips forming into a thin frown as he watched you for the longest time. You felt nervous suddenly.
“I like you a lot too,” You replied as you pressed your lips together, “And you’re also really pretty. But your humor is kinda dry.” You told him seriously, gaining a little grin from him.
"I'm sorry I ignored you." He said, his words still slurring as he fell back against your mattress. You scooted forward, leaning over to get a better look at him.
"I'll forgive you," You started, watching the way the blue in his eyes twinkled, "On one condition." You added, holding a single finger up. He cocked his eyebrows.
"And what is that?" He hummed softly, leaning forward high enough to kiss your fingertip before he fell back down onto your pillows. You grinned.
"You take me out to dinner and I pick the place," You told him, admiring how sparkly his teeth looked as he smiled at you, "And you pay. Then all is forgiven." You added with a little laugh, earning a nudge from him. Something in his eyes let you know that this would be a new page for both of you.

The Wrong Side of the Portal Raph from cabin 10 was wondering if you have enough water before you do anything fun!
"Raph wanted to swim with his family and maybe some new friends if you want to, but it's important to have enough water first. I have some extra water bottles if you need them!"

"Oh, cool!" Smokey gratefully accepted the water. It must have been refrigerated or had ice in it, because it felt cool in his hands. He smiled up at Wrong Side of the Portal Raph happily. "Thank you!"
Now for the...other part. Smokey nervously rolled the water bottle between his hands, but kept smiling. "And thank you for the offer, but I can't swim and don't really care for the ocean." And that was before he had a fire spirit take up residence in him. And before his cabin magically flooded. In the past, water had been okay, even when he couldn't swim, because he'd had his brothers with him. It'd been enough to quell his nerves. Plus, he had a big inner tube to hang out on!
Ever since Sparky had moved in, he'd gotten a lot less comfortable with it, even with his bros around. It'd taken his nerves and turned them into an outright aversion. Smokey did not like deep water or being submerged. He could handle shallows, but they were, well...shallow. No one could truly swim in them. He still had his inner tube, but floating around his with his bros had become a lot less relaxing and a lot more anxiety inducing.
The solution his family had found was letting him ride with one of them - normally Raph. It still made the box turtle nervous and Sparky hissed in his head like a cat being threatened with a bath, but being with someone he trusted wholeheartedly helped. It helped a lot too that if he was on Raph, he wasn't touching the water and had - in his mind, anyway - less of a chance of falling off. (He still clung to his brother like an octopus though.)
"Thanks though!"
