I'm so fucking devastated and there's absolutely nothing I can do to get back what I lost.

I use canva pro on my senior high school email cause it's for free.

They told us that after graduating shs, we have two years extra with it.

The expiration was last year... it didn't come. I went "oh my gosh!! maybe there's no gmail expiration!! i'll have my canva pro foreverrrrr~"

I got too complacent. I backed-up NONE of my projects.

They did an auto delete on ALL of us today. There was no one week warning. Nothing.

I don't know about the others but I lost. So. Fucking. Much.

I'm can't draw, I'm really more of a writer. But i LOVE to edit. I love making visual stuff. Putting things together, placing pictures and elements and playing with colors and font styles.

I lost a total of two AND a half years worth of stuff. A mix of stuff for uni, things i made for my parents, and most of all my personal projects.

Tons of presentations for classes (this goes back on grade 11 too,,,,, oh the memories)

I'm just,,,,,, so sad I didn't get to back them up. I only posted some of them and sent even fewer wips to a few friends.

Honestly I think the biggest tragedy here for me is that I won't ever be able to recreate them. A lot of the texts and descriptions I made were written there DIRECTLY. I had lore. I had dialogue. I had details and stats.

Two and a half years of editing personal projects and assignments. Just. Gone.

There's absolutely nothing I can do to get any of them back. Now all I can do is grieve and hope that I can recreate them.

Juku: long-haired, gray and white, incredibly old, has been incredibly old forever, cranky old man

Juno: tortoiseshell, she of the Enormous Fatness, mother of Johnny/Orange Baby and Eris/Baby Girl

Percy: missing and I've kind of given up... he was the personification of the Confused Cat in the yelling woman meme, and probably the most amazing mouser in the world. Guy used to eat rats. Also liked to cross dress. In the sense that he wore dresses at all, because he's a cat.

Knight: daughter of Simi who lives in the yard because she won't come in. Tortie. Wants all the pets.

Pawn: other daughter of Simi. Siamese with the cutest weird little pattern on her nose.

Johnny/Fire/Mango/Hephaestus/Orange Boy/Orange Baby/Ares: Has many, many names. His actual owner has decided on Ares now that the cat is 4, but he's had too many names to stabilize. My son calls him Johnny much to my youngest child's chagrin. Child of Juno. An orange cat, obviously. Orange cats are either very smart or very stupid; he's a smart one.

Baby Girl/Eris: Tortie. Hates every cat in existence except her brother sometimes and her mom sometimes. Child of Juno. Hates every human except her owner, my youngest child.

Papillon: The youngest. Comes from the feral colony in West Virginia that also produced Simi, so is technically the nephew of Knight and Pawn. Should have been called Nermal, because he looks like an adorable young fellow in the very long leggos stage of kittenhood, like, 6 months to a year? He's 2 and a half. Very small for his age and gender.

Honorable mention to Simoom/Simi, a beautiful Siamese who suffered some kind of trauma she can't explain to us because she's a cat, and now she won't stay in the house, and Abyss, her sister, who we gave to a catless family because she really wasn't liking hanging with other cats. Abyss was the personification of "the void is loud, and wants chicken". She had two sons, the Kambal, Spade and Clover (we named that kitten set for card suits, Heart and Diamond were Siamese and got new homes -- Clover rather than Clubs because when I was a kid I always thought it should be Clover). They're all black cats. The Kambal look identical which is why we gave them that nickname (it means "twin" in Filipino and comes from the anime Trese).

Go Loud game challenge is live for Cyber Knights: Flashpoint on Linux, Steam Deck, and Windows PC. Thanks to the brilliant team at Trese Brothers for their work in bringing us a new challenge. Last time they offered the "Silent Swords" challenge, slicing our way through missions like ninjas. This time, the developers are flipping the script with the "Go Loud" challenge. It's all about making some noise! Here’s what you gotta do:

Go Loud by Turn 2: This means you have to complete a mission, break out your guns, grenades, or anything else that goes "bang!" No sneaking around this time – make some noise right off the bat.

No Silencers Allowed: That's right, we're not here to be stealthy. Leave those silencers and suppressors at home.

You can still use swords or other gear, but the key is to make some noise with a loud weapon by the second turn at the latest.
