i actually haven’t collected tinkerbell stuff in many years but i was obsessed with her when I was a kid! i started collecting tinkerbell stuff when I was like 10 and then I got so much of it as gifts for like the next 6 or 7 years lol. I don’t have any of it now but I had a Ridiculous amount of tinkerbell stuff when I was a teen.

Anyway although I am no longer a think collector I appreciated the cute art and I’m glad you are having fun with it!! I can attest that there is a lot of cute tink stuff out there so I hope you find some good ones ✨

This is super duper still under construction, but I've been slowly building my own cosplay archive website! I really only have 2023's cosplays up so far along with a couple others, but I'm really proud to have been able to code even this much.

I'd like to give it a snazzier layout in the future, maybe one with some pixel art flair, but I'm happy to say I have a little place of my own for the moment!

so like…i have cosplayed disney A Lot. and also done A Ton of disney fanart over the years. disney movies were so formative to me as a person but especially as an artist. i’ve been collecting tinker bell stuff since i was tiny. she was my first self-chosen halloween costume! and i’ve kept the name toughtink for so many years online i don’t even wanna say. they are the biggest player in the industry i work in and it almost feels like a fluke i haven’t worked for them in some way by now when so many people i know have.

but damn if i’m not constantly mad at the mouse and annoyed at every single person willing to hand-wave every crappy, anti-human decision they’ve ever made. fuck.

XVI. THE TOWER

I am the tower being destroyed and the lightning destroying the tower. I am the crumbling hierarchy and the revolution. I am upheaval itself, and I’m breaking out.

i was invited by my friend duy to join in on a tarot-themed photo project to recreate the major arcana cards. i chose the tower mostly because i had an immediate vision of a figure who was both the tower itself and breaking free of it even as destruction burned from within, and the more research i did into various depictions of this card, the more i felt like there was power to be embraced i upheaval, even as most people view the tower entirely as an ill omen. links and the rest of the pieces under the cut!

THIS THIS THIS I spent so much of my 20s in the mindset of "I've just gotta get to [milestone] and then my life can begin!" and it was terrible! Your life is happening right now!! We all will always have goals and plans that are waiting on [milestone], but you cannot withhold fun and growth and meaningful connections from your current self until some hypothetical future date when it feels like you've Earned It. You've already earned access to living life by virtue of being alive.

One thing I really dislike abt our modern hypercapitalistic society is how it devalues the year.

So many things require slate years of work or experience that you just have to “get through it”. How you need 5 years experience to be hireable so 5 years of your life have to be “spent” or “invested” somewhere, and suddenly we’re dividing up years of our lives as a capitalist resource for an engine that takes with no give.

Years are so much more valuable than they are deemed to be. You’ll only be 22 once. In the turn of seasons you can have such a wealth of experiences that can redefine you as a person. You can have so much growth over a year. So much life on earth only lasts a handful of years, or even less than one.

I just think its so easy to forget how valuable the time you’re in right now is. Its too easy to be made exhausted and spend your weekdays awaiting weekends. You do a LOT in a year and I think its important to reflect on your experiences through that year.
