Ok fuck it you know something I've never really quite understood about part of the Leftist vs Liberals debate on voting.

So so so many people act like its either-or. Like you're either dedicating your entire life to voting and promoting politicians and phone banking or whatever, or you're a True Rebel waiting for The Uprising to Come and Solve Everything.

But like. In my experience. Me voting is just me kinda go 'which person seems kinda good? Which one at least sucks the least? ok lemme go vote.' and then its anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour tops of my life. And I still have plenty of time to do Stuff and participate in Conversations about Other Important Things. And also you can admit and acknowledge and understand that the system As Is kinda sorta really sucks ass, but also still admit and acknowledge and understand that at this current point in time we are still living in the suckass system and do something to alleviate the suckass At Least A Little while also working to bolster/create/advocate for Other Systems.

I guess just like. it's not a black or white thing. Between 'top 500 volunteers for a specific politician/voting office/etc' and 'absolutely positively not voting at all' there is a gray area called 'vote and then just do other stuff'.

it's been so long since i watched either season so i'm gonna pull from both.

Sofie bringing Dale back to life. The whole fight at Grammercy is so cool, and I fucking hate Tony Simos. this fight was actually one of the first d20 episodes i watched live. i was not caught up. it's just such a beautiful moment and Emily is trying so hard to figure out what Brennan is trying to tell her but it ends up so soft and perfect. incredible. "I heard you at the airport" (line that seems like it shouldn't make you cry but does).

Kug choosing to eat the bagel. Just the perfect ending to his arc. And so tragically terrible. He tried to apologize but didn't quite get the chance. So he became the universe. And saved his friends. Guy of all time.

Liz and Kingston in the hospital. He makes it clear he doesn't want to be anywhere else. There's so much left to say. Nothing is fixed. But for that moment, it's okay. And it's clear that, eventually, everything it will be okay. They can sit and enjoy themselves for a bit though. First.

Kingston telling Liz about the dragon egg. Lou brings an intense, slightly insane, energy to the scene. Liz just sits in it, allows everything to wash over her. Her only qualms are logistical, and Kingston is so ready for her to just say no. It genuinely builds on my number 3, clearly they were able to work things out in the in between to get to that point. And their dream they left behind can finally come true.

"My love. For you are my love. My one true love." Rowan Berry. Holy shit. The whole ordeal with the American Dream was A Lot and was also so beautiful. I think about this all the time.

Synopsis

While taking in the sights of Paris in 1979, the Fourth Doctor and Romana sense that someone is tampering with time. Who is the mysterious Count Scarlioni? Why does he seem to have counterparts scattered through time? And just how many copies of the Mona Lisa did Leonardo da Vinci paint?

even if your not a classic who fan, you have seen moments from this, “wonderful butler, he’s so violent”, “youre a beautiful woman, probably”, “if you wanted an omelette I’d expect to find a pile of broken crockery, a cooker in flames, and an unconscious chef”. The location shooting, iconic, the music, iconic, the plot, so iconic I was once watching something (non doctor who) that referenced it as a fake historical event. Dare I say duggan is the greatest side character of all time. Romana’s outfit, the design of scaroth, the implication time lords can fly. it’s not my favourite overall, but its damn near close, it deserves AT LEAST the semi finals, AT LEAST. If you’ve not seen it or any classic who, go watch it, its so good, one of the best of the era. Also, how could I forget, the most watched episode on broadcast out of all of doctor who, including new who. (yes it was because itv was off the air due to strikes, but im glad its this episode that holds the record) (anonymous)

The Creature from the Pit

Synopsis

The Fourth Doctor and Romana II receive a distress signal and arrive on Chloris. It is a lush and verdant world with only small quantities of metals, all of which are controlled by its ruler, Lady Adrasta. Adrasta keeps order with the aid of her Huntsman and his Wolfweeds - mobile balls of vegetation. A band of thieves, led by Torvin, organise raids on her palace to steal whatever metal they can. But in the mines of Chloris is something huge, a creature thrown into the pit to be forgotten... and the Doctor is about to join him.
