but genuinely i think sweet tooth is a beautiful representation of how it feels to be "different", how to handle grief, and just so much else

the implications of the m&ms mascots do fascinate me. of course, they carry a semi-human form to more easily communicate to the audience....but is that all? doesn't it feel strange, to give things faces and limbs so crudely like our own, but still have them be at the center that which we only desire to mindlessly eat? or is that what everyone wants? is this just an acceptable way of manifesting this deep desire to sink our teeth into what is closest in form to ourselves?

...don't you fucking hate them?? aren't they annoying?? aren't they greedy?? aren't they everywhere?? DON'T YOU WANT TO CRUSH THEM??

there's so much controversy over the sexualization of the female m&ms. i do think it is funny. i do think it is telling: desire anywhere and everywhere we touch.
