What’s her role in the board bot department?
A summary for my answer would be that her role is the cunty secretary, but I actually wrote an entire in-depth explanation of her role in the board bot department. Put on your reading glasses‼️‼️
Here’s some analysis to help refine my ideas:
1. Secretary Role in the board bot department
Logical Fit: Secretaries in a corporate structure often perform various tasks beyond clerical duties. Expanding her role to include responsibilities that make her pivotal to the flow of the office—like paperwork delivery and monitoring departments—gives her more agency.
Why it Works: This preserves the “secretary” label but makes her more integral to the operation, not just as a support character but someone who moves between departments and influences decisions.
2. Delivering Paperwork:
She delivers paperwork office to office by herself.
Small notes:
Wheel Feature: if you take a look at her character design, she has the ability to switch between two normal legs and a single wheel. (This clever design choice was made by my partner) it’s a visually interesting element to her character. Her ability to switch between legs and a wheel makes sense within the world of Cogs, where efficiency and productivity are highly valued.
World Logic: As a Cog, her wheel transformation fits the mechanical, corporate theme. Moving quickly between offices aligns with the Cogs’ efficiency-driven philosophy. Having her transport critical documents enhances her role, making her a key link between departments.
3. Unannounced Department Visits:
She visits departments unannounced to see how things are going and making sure they run smoothly. Writing down every detail. If one mistake is made she will report it to the chainsaw consultant and the chairman (she’s extra fr)
Inspector Role: The unannounced visits imply that she’s trusted by higher-ups to ensure everything is running smoothly. It gives her a reason to interact with a variety of characters, creating dynamic relationships across the board. it gives her more authority and relevance within the corporation.
Importance in Plot: It positions her as a character who could potentially be feared or respected by others, depending on her personality. Her reports could directly affect who gets fired, creating tension and drama. This also gives you an easy way to include her in multiple game scenarios or plotlines.
4. Interaction with Higher-Ups:
COO, Chairman, and Chainsaw Consultant: Having her report to powerful figures reinforces her significance. Depending on how you develop her personality, she could be seen as a trusted adviser, a silent enforcer, or a more neutral figure who’s simply doing her job.
Considerations:
Personality: she is cold and efficient, always business-first. hard and rock, solid, thick skin and has a backbone. She takes shit from no one, and I mean no one. She does her work very efficiently and quickly, and doesn’t joke around at any second of the day. Homegirl is scary.
Backstory: not revealing that yet, only my notes app knows.
Potential Conflicts: There’s room for internal conflict, too. Maybe she’s torn between her loyalty to her job and the growing awareness of how harsh the Cogs' corporate world can be. Or maybe some departments see her as a nuisance or a spy? Unclear
Conclusion:
She’s a cunty secretary. fear her 😇
BONUS: she has anger issues and can and is Violent as fuck
