Screw it! Here's my probaply unrealistic wishlist of stuff I'd want announced tomorrow during the Nintendo Direct. No seriously, I rarely have my predictions come true with these things so I'll actually be surprised if any of these do come true somehow.

-New 3D Super Mario game! Probably WON'T come out for the Switch but will likely be a Switch 2 title.

-New Mario Kart game. Again, likely WON'T come out on Switch but I've been playing 8 for a decade now since it's original Wii U release and I'm ready for a new one. And they could still at least tease this and new 3D Mario right even if the Switch 2 has yet to be showcased right?

-A new Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix game. I'm sorry, I got REALLY into the original last year and I'd be down for a sequel. Seriously, this games soundtrack is amazing!

-Some info on the Legend of Zelda movie. Or rather a trailer for it would be nice!

-Speaking of new info, some more Pokemon Legends Z-A news would be nice. Mainly some gameplay.

-A new Tomodachi Life. Maybe. I mean I don't know what you could possibly add to a sequel to a game where your more a passive observer anyway but that's why I'm not a game designer.

-DS games coming to NSO. I mean the Switch literally already has a touch screen and you can even buy a stylus, it'd work.

-Arkham Origins coming to Switch! Seriously, there is no fucking reason for it NOT to be on Switch while the others are just because "it wasn't made by Rocksteady." Who cares! It's still cannon and a good game!

-The rest of the DMC games coming to Switch. Yeah it's been like four years since the Switch port of 3 so it likely we might NOT be getting 4, the 2013 reboot or 5 on Switch at this point... Okay 5 might not be possible without heavy compromises or it being exclusive to the Switch 2 anyway but still, I wanna take ALL games from one of my favourite franchises that isn't Shantae on the go with me.

-The Xenosaga series being ported. Considering the Xenoblade Chronicles series kind of has it's roots in the Xenosaga series it's kinda a surprise to me these original games HAVEN'T been ported yet.

Tomodachi Bliss Regional differences/Apartments:

Generic

Before eating/drinking a food/drink/medicine you give the Mii, they will always thank the player for the food/drink/medicine. This isn't present in all other versions.

Japan: 「いただきます」

Korea: 「잘 먹겠습니다！」

Taiwan: "谢谢你的食物!"

The "Level Up!" graphic is differently capitalized between versions.

Japan/Korea/Taiwan:

North America/Europe/Australia:

The icon for the bath set differentiates between the Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, North American, European and Australian versions. The Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese icon resembles the kind of stuff you'd receive at a public bathhouse from there, the North American icon resembles a bath set you'll receive at home while the European/Australian icon resembles something you'd receive at a hotel.

In the Japanese version, dreaming Miis' speech bubbles display the icon "夢", which is kanji for "dream". In Korea, dreaming Miis' speech bubbles display the icon "꿈", which is Korean for "dream". In Taiwan, dreaming Miis' speech bubbles display the icon "梦", which is Taiwanese Mandarin for "dream". In all other international releases feature a crescent moon. The "Z" is also differently shaded between versions, and has a line through it exclusively in the Japanese version:

Friendship-Related:

In the international versions, the Miis wave to each other when they become friends, while in the Japanese and Korean versions they bow, in the Taiwanese version, they slightly head bow.

Sadness-Related:

When a Mii is sad (or ill) in the Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese versions, they will be surrounded by purple embers. This was changed so that Miis in the international versions would have a rain cloud above their heads. The apartment icon was also changed to reflect this.

Love-Related:

When a Mii has a love-related question in the Japanese version, there will be grey clouds around them filled with "モヤ", in the Korean version, there will be grey clouds around them filled with "불안한), in the Taiwanese version, there will be grey clouds filled with "承认", whereas in the subsequent releases they are instead pink hearts filled with question marks.

In the Japanese version, Miis can date each other regardless of whether or not they are in the same age group ("Child" or "grown-up"). They can also get married, in which case the game will begin the proposal minigame as usual; then after the player successfully clears said minigame, the Mii who made the proposal will give the player an Age-O-Matic and the choice to whether or not use it on the younger Mii, allowing them both to get married. If the player chooses to do so, a cutscene will play showing the young Mii being sprayed with the Age-O-Matic; while the adult Mii sits on the floor watching.

This was removed in every other region the game was released in, where Miis can only date if they are in the same age group or if they were already aged up/down with the spray in the first place.

Dreams:

A dream called どこかで見た島 is exclusive to the Japanese version of the game. It features the island and background music from Tomodachi Collection.

The dreams that were originated from Tomodachi Collection were exclusive to the Japanese version. They all were removed in other versions.

Ritual:

The text was changed for unknown reasons.

North America: "All hail the [item name]!"

Europe/Australia: "My [item name]!"

In the Korean version, sometimes the Miis will be circling around another Mii.

Minigames:

In the Japanese version, Miis who want to play a game gesture to the player by waving their arms toward themselves, a common gesture in Japan indicating that you want someone to come closer. In the international releases, they jump up and down while waving their hands in the air.

The icon on the bottom screen was also changed slightly between versions, with the Japanese and North American versions having a straight arm and the European version having a bent arm, in a waving kind of motion. It was most likely changed because of it resembling the Nazi salute.

VS. Match:

When playing the VS Match minigame in the Japanese version, getting a match makes the background of the two tiles orange and green. In Korea, the colors are purple and gold. In Taiwan, the colors are red and forest green. In North America/Europe/Australia, the colors are red and blue.

When getting a question correct in one of the Islander minigames, the Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese versions will put a red ring around the correct answer, whereas in the western releases there is a green checkmark.

Football/Wrestling/Sumo:

Each release of the game localized the sumo minigame from the Japanese version differently. In the American release, it became a football minigame; while in the European release, it was made into a wrestling minigame.

The referee's dialogue are localized:

North America: "Come on!", "Keep at it!"

Europe: "Push!", "Come on!"

Japan: "ハッキョイ" (Shout), "ノコッタ" ((Still remaining (until the game ends))

Korea: "준비?" (Ready?), "시이작?" ((Staart?)

Taiwan: "准备好？" (Ready?), "开始！" (Start!)

Cards:

In the Cards minigame, the odd card out is a "2" in the European version, and a "Joker" in every other version.

The sprite for the player's hand is completely different between western and eastern versions. The hand makes a "V sign" gesture when winning the minigame in the Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese versions, while on the American, European and Australian versions, it instead does a "thumbs-up". This might be because an outward-facing V sign is considered a profane gesture in the UK and certain other Commonwealth countries.

Rooftop/Observation Tower:

The rooftop area was once accessible by the player in the Japanese version from inside Mii Apartments. It was replaced by the Observation Tower building in the international versions, and they serve the same function as one another.
