jerk.
earth42!miles x fem!reader
Tumblr media
summary: you haven't heard about him for a whole week, what a 'jerk'. (wc: 3.9 k, kinda short and a dumb blurb)
warnings: cursing, a kind of suggestive? line at the end.
a/n: it's the first time i publish something so maybe it's kinda bad idk, and also this isn't angst miles is actually the best man ever pls i just wanna hug him. aand english isn't my first language so pls pls let me know if i spelled something wrong!
Tumblr media
"I heard that kiki was invited to prom in the most romantic way possible, I'm so jealous."
"oh god, yeah, I wish I had a boyfriend like hers, or well, just a boyfriend".
You were biting your nails right now, looking everywhere but at your friends, what a topic, huh?
“hey, your boyfriend already invited you?”
And there was the question, you just looked lazily at them “uh, sure”
The truth was that you hadn't been talking to Miles for a week or so, and this was exactly why.
You always understood that maybe he didn't like a lot of things about high school, and you never complained about it, but this time, it was something important to you, and he didn't seem to care.
"baby, it's just a dance, I don't understand why you're acting like it's such a big deal." he said while not even looking at your direction.
"maybe it's a big deal that you're being a jerk about this."
Yeah, that conversation didn't end well, you haven't heard from him since.
The thing was, you don't do a lot of couple things publicly, and it's slowly starting to affect your mind, maybe he didn't want to be seen with you, or someone couldn't see him with you, the thought alone causing you to shiver.
You spent the rest of the day distracting yourself with your friends and your homework, secretly waiting for a message from him to appear on your phone.
It did, but definitely not what you expected.
miles <4: 'i’m back in town, wyd?'
Oh.
You didn't know whether to be happy that he wasn't ignoring you, or angry that he didn't give the last discussion more than a thought.
You decided not to let it go this time, and not even look at the text.
Of course, that was stupid, but so were you.
It wasn't more than two hours, he was already knocking on your window, and once you let him in, he just looked at you, deeply.
“wanna’ tell me what’s up with you, darling?”
That was not affectionate, he was annoyed, mocking, you realize.
“nothing.” you couldn’t look at him when you were lying, he knew that.
“i thought you were the one who opted for that communication bullshit, cmon.”
“where were you?”
“work”  the tone was defensive, almost secretive, it was always like that when he mentioned something about the prowler, you never talked a lot about it.
“you could have told me”
“thought you didn't want a jerk talking to you?”
“yeah, but you’re still my boyfriend, Miles, we argued, and I didn't hear about you for a whole week.”
“sorry.”
That's what made your veins boil the most, he was never mean, disrespectful, or a jerk.
He always knew when to say sorry or when he had done the wrong thing, that meant he didn't really care about the problem that kept popping into your head, he didn't see it like a problem at all.
And that only made you feel dumber, maybe you were overreacting, again.
“it’s okay, i just missed you”
That's all you had to say for him to look at you with those eyes that made you feel like the most special woman on earth, that made any insecurity disappear just as the space between your bodies did.
“i missed you too.”
Of course, he stayed the whole night with you.
Tumblr media
The next afternoon, when you entered your room, you saw a package on your bed, with a note on top of it
“I couldn't go to prom if my girl wasn't wearing my color, be at your door by eight o'clock.
                                                                                                      luv ya, miles.”
Inside the package was a beautiful dress, vibrant purple, obviously.
This was definitely the man of your dreams.
Tumblr media
+bonus:
Eight o'clock, and he was with his motorcycle at your door.
"you are breathtaking, love" he said and you approached him to give him just a little kiss, while smiling.
"thanks for all this, but I thought it wasn't a big deal?" a smirk adorned your face.
"it was a big deal if you were calling me a jerk about it" you grabbed his waist as you settled on the bike.
"sorry about that." a little peck on the cheek.
"you'll have time to apologize to me, don't worry:"

🌸Synastry Things🌸
🩵8th house placements in synastry create an atmosphere where you have the feeling that you have to see the person, that you always have to have them by your side. Especially when venus fall into 8th house. Because it creates deep love and lasting. Here you are giving your soul to another person.
💜The 9th house represents growth, learning, purposes, and meaning. It represents what the two of you learn from each other and where you find the most meaning. How can this relationship make sense. And in what way it grows and gives meaning.
🖤The 10th house represents career, visibility, lessons and karma. It represents how you and the person will be seen in public. What will your public identity be. The common mission they have.
🌙For water moons it is best to be with someone who has a water moon or earth moon. And a person have to have water energy, otherwise it is difficult for you to feel understood. In my opinion, a water moon goes the worst with someone who has an air moon, because you will never feel that this person fully understands you. Especially since water moons react with emotions and need this energy. For water moons, it is very important to have someone who has water signs in their chart.
🌴Wherever Uranus it is in synastry represents where the relationship is original and in what way. Let's say Uranus in the 5th house can mean - unique dates, hobbies... Uranus in the 7th house can mean that the whole relationship is unique and special, different from the others.
🍿Wherever Jupiter is in synastry represents where you and the person share the most happiness and satisfaction. Where do they grow and in what way do they endow each other. What is the gift of this relationship.
🪫Wherever Saturn is in the synatry, it represents where the relationship is most karmic and where you can learn the most and work the most so that the relationship can succeed. For example: saturn in the 11th house can mean that you can work a lot on interests, dreams, sociality and accepting friends.
🫀Wherever Pluto is in the synastry represents where the relationship s strongest and deepest. What is it that you both hold on to and what is the strength of this relationship, through which you can transform. For example: Pluto in the 7th house can mean that your relationship is very strong and that you can go through many challenges but overcome them. They never give up.
🪽Wherever Neptune is in the synastry shows where the relationship is most dreamy and illusional. In what way can the relationship manifest and where can they achieve a lot by being delusional. For ex.: neptune in 1st house- it can mean that the person sees you as a dream person.
☀️Wherever the sun is, it represents where you two can find inspiration and where this relationship shines the most.
🫧Wherever the moon is, it means that you perceive and look at things most emotionally. Having the same moon as another person is very powerful for relationships. Because this person will understand you immediately.
🌙The best combinations of moons in synastry:🌙
💘Cancer & Cancer moon -warm energy
🧸Taurus & Cancer moon -feeling at home
🛍️Libra & Leo moon-shining together
⛵️Scorpio & Pisces moon -mysterious together
🎸Aries & Leo moon-crazy together
🥂Virgo & Capricorn moon- Respectable together
🤪Aquarius & Gemini moon -goofy together
🧠Sagittarius & Gemini moon -communicative together
🪽Pisces & Capricorn moon-compassionate energy
☀️Leo & Virgo moon-caring energy
⛵️Mars in synastry represents how they give energy on the outside. How do you function as a person together. Let's say: Mars in Sagittarius and Mars in Leo will get along very well because they both have a passion for things and life. Both will be active together and the person's actions will mean a lot. Both want passion and are passionate. Mars in pisces & mars in cancer-both will aim to do things themselves. To do things that are deeply meaningful to you. Maybe both of you will be inclined to create things together at home. Or hanging out at home. But both will have an emotional response to the things that will happen. They will watch the event through emotion. Mars in Gemini & Mars in Virgo- both will tend to respond rationally. Together they will do many things related to thoughts, communication. Words will be important to you. But Virgo in Mars will react more from a stable point of view, while Mars in Gemini will quickly change the energy and topic of conversation.
🌸Venus in synastry represents how we love, in what way we love, how and in what way we show love. How we enjoy together. For ex.: Venus in Pisces & Venus in Scoprio- will show each other unconditional and long-lasting love. Pisces can teach Scorpio to love more openly and show emotions. At the same time, they have a very friendly and gentle energy. Both value emotions and loyalty. Venus in Taurus & Venus in Cancer- both value privacy and both love food. Both can be introverted and like to have their own corner. Both of you will feel stable in love. Venus in Sagittarius & Venus in Scorpio- I also really like this combination, because two people can learn a lot from each other. Sag can help Scorpio show the positive side of life. Finding a way to live in the moment and not have everything under control. Scorpio can show Sagittarius the deeper side of life. Together they can do many unique things. Venus in Libra & Venus in Capricorn- both venuses are inclined to like prestige, beauty and neatness. Maybe they value different things at times, but Capricorns are very attentive and do a lot for the person they love. Meanwhile, the libra wants someone to spoil her and she gets that from cap venus. Leo Venus & Sag Venus- also a very good combination because both Venuses are passionate and active. They can travel a lot together and do interesting things. Especially sports or something like that (or doing something crazy). They both have a passion for each other.

Turtle's arc is so subtle yet so good and I love it a lot, which sucks since I've seen a number of people write him off as just "socially awkward kid who is boring", which?? No??? Gimme a second just to ramble, okay?
Turtle has terrible self-esteem issues and an inferiority complex. He puts himself down, calling himself boring, stupid, and generally useless constantly in his internal dialogue. He's kind and sweet and really well meaning, but he's socially awkward and shy and can't exactly strike up a conversation.
He's like this in due part of being one of Queen Coral's many...many sons. Christ alive this woman had thirty-two sons-- but that's besides the point. He's just another dragon. He's not old enough to be a leader, but not young enough to exactly be any special. He's a middle child. He's a nobody. Just another SeaWing prince who's destined to either run away or to become a military general.
The one time Turtle was ever truly acknowledged was when the night happened with his father, Gill. Gill needed Turtle to fetch one of the royal guards so that they could protect Queen Coral's eggs. But, Turtle couldn't find them. He failed. Gill lashes out, snapping back at Turtle for his inability to do such a simple task and killing the eggs in the process. Turtle internalized this moment. He was useless. He's a nobody, and when he's forced to be somebody, he'll just fail and let everyone down.
Thus, he doesn't see himself as anything special. A fuck up if anything; which makes it all the more ironic that he's an animus dragon. He's literally got the most powerful, special ability in the entire continent, and more than anything he's self-conscious and terrified of it as he would then be pushed into the limelight over it. Because of it, Turtle has made some...rather selfish choices every now and then. The incident with Anemone was created solely because he was petrified of being put on a pedestal. He doesn't want to be some grand dragon. So, he diverted attention away from him and enchanted Anemone to have magic.
Turtle doesn't want to make choices or do anything out of fear of failure and letting others down. Worse is if he's discovered to be an animus, where he's then elevated to such high expectations that he is convinced he will never be able to accomplish. He's held back by his own perceived inadequacy. He doesn't think highly of himself. He doesn't want the spotlight as he's both afraid of being seen and afraid of what those people will say when he lets them down.
He blended into the background in Moon Rising. Moon herself was confused by not being able to read his thoughts, which turned out to be because of the Magic Plot Rock we all know and love as skyfire. However, as the rest of the Jade Winglet ran off when Moon revealed to have been a mind reader, Turtle stuck around. He related to that. He felt pity and understood Moon the most. They are most like one another anyways, with the both of them being ashamed of their own powers and fearing being rejected by their loved ones the most.
He's a deeply kind and considerate soul who wants nothing more than to help people. He cares for Moon and wants to comfort her when she's at her lowest. He is so sweet, but he does it in a quiet, deeply personal way. He doesn't like big gestures or calling attention upon himself. He just likes being close to another. I feel he connected most with Moon because he found his own insecurities and fears in her and related to that. He found another person like him.
The Jade Winglet helps Turtle a lot with his own issues. Slowly throughout the series, he grows a little more confident of himself. His kindness is shown yet again with him becoming friends with Peril. Again, relating and sharing experiences of having powers and abilities that others want to take advantage of and unwillingly push them into roles they wouldn't want. He laughs, jokes, and playfully banters with her. He's getting better and better.
And then...Darkstalker.
Darkstalker throws a wrench into everything. Turtle reverts instantly back to his scared, cowardly ways. He enchants a stick to hide himself from Darkstalker, instantly sensing that Darkstalker hated him. He feels powerless to stop Darkstalker. What could he do?? Well, he could try to use his magic, but that would mean he steps out into the spotlight! He's seen! But this is serious. Darkstalker is massive, has animus magic, can read minds, and can see into the future. Turtle is just a kid. He's a nobody. He can't do anything.
He's scared. He feels useless and afraid. He's no hero. He doesn't want to be a hero. He's nothing like the heroes from legend. He's nobody.
Over the course of his book, we see Turtle quietly observe and stand by as Darkstalker takes over Jade Mountain Academy. He's plotting and planning, feigning his kindness and basking in the praise and worship others are giving him. Darkstalker is the antithesis to Turtle. He freely uses his magic without care and, more than anything, wants to be seen and witnessed by others. He loved the attention that his magic brings him. If somebody doesn't like him, then he either kills them off or brainwashes them into liking him. He's the polar opposite of Turtle in every way.
And you know who else is like that? Anemone.
Anemone is corrupted and warped even more by Darkstalker. Before hand, she was a kid who had just been released from the suffocating life as Queen Coral's only daughter. Darkstalker saw her as a pawn he could exploit. He encouraged her to be more risky and daring with her magic. He whispered into her ear and tells her that she's able to do anything. He's grooming a child he's grooming a child--
Regardless, Turtle feels guilty for everything Anemone has been put through. He doesn't fully understand the extent to which she had suffered as being physically tied to her mother at all times and being trained as a living weapon, but he feels so much guilt over it. Because of his inability to take accountability and risk being seen, he made a selfish, half-formed enchantment that was supposed to be a quick fix. He did not fully think of the consequences, and yet here they are before him.
As the book goes on, we see Turtle slowly but steadily try to form a resistance movement against Darkstalker. He had been watching and eventually found himself alone with Qibli and Winter. Winter, who was still heavily under the "Darkstalker is good :))))" spell, refused to listen as Turtle told them about it. Qibli, who wasn't affected, understood. For one of the first times ever, Turtle used his magic for another. Well, he also enchanted Kinkajou's skyfire so that she would be almost invisible to Darkstalker, but that would require me spending two seconds thinking about where that scene leads to (the love spell) and I'd rather not.
Anywho, Turtle is still insecure and afraid, but he's slowly becoming more sure of himself. He knows Darkstalker is evil and he wants to take him down. He's deeply afraid of him though, as he knows Darkstalker will kill him. He still feels useless and scared.
Until finally he has to act.
Anemone, coaxed by Darkstalker into doing this, goes off to kill Queen Coral and her entire family. Anemone is convinced this is what she deserves after being a terrible mother. Suddenly, Turtle realizes that his little mistake of giving Anemone god powers now has consequences and his family is going to die.
The guilt he feels is immense, but he needs to stand up. He can't sit idly anymore and let the world pass him by. He needs to stop her. He's the only one who can match her power. He has to fight her. He has to warn everyone. He has to do something heroic and terrifying.
He confronts Anemone on the beach. For the first time, he stands up for himself. He doesn't back down when she barks at him and demands he leaves. She tries to kill him, only for him to finally reveal himself. He's admitting to his mistakes. His guilt. He knows that she's not going to have a good reaction. Yeah so Anemone then tries to kill him via animus magic. The pair fight, with Turtle wining in the end.
Yada yada the book ends with Turtle having his magic taken away, but over the course of the book (as well as bleeding into DOD), Turtle has grown significantly in terms of his fears and anxieties. He's able to make a stand for himself and actively try to make things better. He's scared and still socially awkward, but he's, well, a hero in some semblance. Something he thought was the most terrifying thing possible for him he does.
Turtle is a naturally kind and considerate soul. He wants to help others, and when he does hurt them it eats away at his heart. He's afraid of conflict and prefers to be a doormat if it means he can slip through the cracks and come out unscathed.
Through the books however, he grows into a more upstanding and confident character. He's less prone to self-deprecation and letting others take advantage of him. He doesn't let things pass by and get himself into terrible situations through in-action. Through the support of his friends (and going through traumatizing scenario after traumatizing scenario) he is marginally better. Not fixed, but good enough to be happy and still the same, socially awkward but incredibly kind Turtle.
He's a character who I think a lot of people can see themselves in, and his arc in particular is one I feel many should aspire to. To stand up for themselves. To mend and fix the mistakes they've made and try to do better. Problems can't be fixed by some other hero. You have to take initiative. Stand up. Be the hero you need.

Part 1.
Tumblr media
*not my gif*
It had been a few months since Casey and Alex had seen each other again. Casey couldn’t deny that after being upset and hurt that Alex had lied and had just left Casey to think that she was really gone, part of her was happy to know that she was still alive. She had tried to go back to her life and act as normally as possible, but her mind couldn’t help but wonder what would’ve happened if she hadn’t moved on. If she had closed herself to the possibility of being alone for the rest of her life, then Alex walking back into her life. But then her mind was clouded with guilt. There was no denial that she was happy, everyone noticed it, everyone commented on it, she had seen the change in her life, and she couldn’t deny the strong feelings she had for y/n. She was thankful that even in the darkest time of her life, y/n had been able to light it up at some point. And her mind and mind being split in two made her feel guilty and upset at herself.
As for y/n, she noticed the way Casey had turned quiet. She could sense the change in her attitude and the way she acted around the squad and y/n. Yes, she was still pretty much clinging to her, she was still pretty much being her silly self around y/n, but she could also tell that there was something bothering Casey, and she couldn’t help but think about Alex. After Olivia told her who Alex had been for Casey, she couldn’t help but feel guilty for persuading Casey, and also hurt to think that what they had was something special, something that no one could replace. Their time together had been everything, y/n hadn’t been this happy in forever, and Casey had confessed the same thing, but y/n still couldn’t take off her mind that maybe, just maybe, there was still a part of Casey that deeply loved Alex, after all, y/n could tell that Alex had been her first true love…
“Earth to y/n.”
Y/n snapped out of her trance and looked up at Olivia, offering a small smile as she saw the coffee in her hand. “Thanks.” She said softly as she grabbed the coffee and took a sip of it.
Olivia sat on the desk and looked directly at y/n, sensing that there was something wrong. “What’s going on in that head of yours?”
“Nothing.” Y/n simply said as she focused back on her computer, taking another sip of her coffee.
Olivia sighed softly. “You know better than to lie to me, y/l/n. So, are you gonna tell me or will I have to get it out of you?”
Y/n sighed as she looked back at Olivia, putting her coffee down. “Why do you think Casey actually accepted to go out with me?”
Olivia was taken aback by the question, but soon enough understood what this was about. “Well…she was really into you. It had been a while since I had seen Casey acting like that for someone. So, I’m sure she accepted because she wanted you.”
“Or she was just trying to get over Alex.” Y/n snapped all of a sudden, feeling a pang of sadness.
“Is this about Alex coming back?” Olivia asked softly.
“I know she was your friend. That she was loved by everyone here but…” y/n shook her head as she looked at her coffee. “…why did she have to come back?” She whispered softly.
Olivia looked away for a moment before she looked back at y/n, placing her hand on her shoulder and squeezing it. “We needed her. It was a surprise to all of us that she was still alive.”
“Casey was so upset, and then she just…accepted it, I guess. And now she’s…” y/n’s voice broke slightly. “…she changed.”
“I know it’s hard to think that Alex was someone important in Casey’s life. And like I said, it was really hard for Casey, she had some awful days. But you made it all better, y/n.”
“And what guarantees me that she won’t regret being with me and she’ll try to find Alex?” Y/n snapped again, her eyes getting teary as she looked up at Olivia. “I feel…bad. I feel guilty to think that I persuaded Casey when Alex was still alive. And the thing is…that I can’t even hate Alex because she’s so nice.”
Olivia huffed a little, nodding her head. “She mentioned how nice it had been to talk to you when you took her to the hotel.”
Y/n nodded. “I knew about her already, and even if I wanted to be upset, I couldn’t. She was so nice and so sweet.” She sighed.
Olivia placed her hand on y/n’s cheek, making her keep staring at her. “Casey loves you, y/n. I can tell. Casey wouldn’t just pretend. It’s not her.”
Y/n nodded softly. “I want to believe you, Liv. But it’s…hard when I see that she’s not acting like herself.”
Olivia nodded, but before she could say anything else, Elliot walked to them letting them know that they had a case. Y/n wiped away the tears that had left her eyes, taking another sip of her coffee before she followed Elliot. Olivia noted that she’d have to keep an eye on y/n, hoping that things wouldn’t get hard from here.
********************
Y/n closed the door behind her and leaned her head against it for a moment. She took a deep breath before she dropped her bag on the floor and walked to the kitchen. She slowly walked to the kitchen as she rubbed her temple but stopped in her tracks as she found Casey sitting on the kitchen island on one of the stools. Casey turned to look at her and offered a smile, y/n returned a small smile and walked directly to the cabinets to grab a glass. Casey frowned as she saw each move y/n made. She took a deep breath and tilted her head slightly.
“Y/n?” Casey whispered softly.
“Yeah?” Y/n whispered back as she got the glass full of water, drinking all of it in one sip.
Casey sighed softly as she stood up and walked around the kitchen island to get to y/n. She wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her close to her and kissing her shoulder. “Are we okay?” She whispered softly, there was a slight hint of sadness in her voice.
Y/n sighed softly and closed her eyes as she felt Casey kissing her shoulder. She placed her free hand on Casey’s arm and leaned back against her. “We are, Case.”
Casey sighed softly as she buried her face on y/n hair, closing her eyes as she breathed in her scent. “I’m sorry.”
“Sorry about what?” Y/n whispered softly.
“About Alex.” Casey said softly, the name feeling weird as it left her lips but so familiar at the same time. “I really didn’t think this would affect me.”
Y/n sighed softly, leaving the glass on the counter, and turning in Casey’s arms. She rested her forehead against hers and placed her hands on Casey’s cheeks. “I get it, Casey. Alex was someone important to you. Maybe…everything to you.” She whispered the last words with a hint of sadness and jealousy. “I can’t blame you.”
“But it’s not fair to you.” Casey whispered back, pulling away enough to stare into her eyes.
Y/n nodded as she offered a small smile. “It’s not like you’re running back to her. You’re still here.”
Casey offered a small smile. “And I’m not going anywhere.”
Y/n smiled. “You better not. Or I’ll sue your ass.”
Casey couldn’t help but chuckle softly. “Oh, really? And who would represent you, huh?” She grinned softly as she pulled y/n closer.
Y/n shrugged as she grinned back. “I’ll probably get Donna or Sophie to represent me.”
“Now that’s rude.” Casey couldn’t help but chuckle softly before she leaned in and pressed a sweet and tender kiss on her lips. “You know I love you, right?” She whispered against her lips.
Y/n nodded softly as she pecked her lips repeatedly. “I love you too.”
Casey smiled and kissed her nose softly. “How about we go out for dinner? My treat.”
“Sounds good to me.” Y/n smiled softly as she kissed her lips one more time before she grabbed Casey’s hand in hers. “Let’s go because I’m starving.” She chuckled softly.
********************
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Casey snapped as she crossed her arms, staring at Elizabeth. “Is this some sick joke or something?”
Elizabeth sighed as she sat back in her chair, shrugging. “It’s Moredock we’re talking about, Casey.”
“Not like I haven’t gone against him before. Why is it so important now?”
“We’re against a goddamn white suprematist. We know how Moredock pushes and tries to get what he wants. He might be able to actually win this if we don’t get ahead of him.” Elizabeth tried to keep her voice as low as possible, already sensing that Casey was about to start yelling any time soon.
Casey scoffed. “And what? I’m not capable of doing this in my own?”
Elizabeth sighed as she looked at Casey. “Casey…I know this is ideal for you. That this…” she shrugged. “…this is still a hard topic for us. But we need Alex.”
“No. You need Alex. I don’t. I’m capable of continuing this trial without her.”
“I’m not doing this to get on your ass, Casey. Both of you can actually win this case. She’ll be your second chair. That’s all.” Elizabeth leaned back in her chair as she sighed. “Have you had some…trouble with y/n?”
Casey sighed as she sat on one of the chairs, nibbling on her lip for a moment. “We are okay…but I did have my moments.”
“You cannot help it.”
“That’s what she said too.” Casey sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair. “I…I love her, Liz. There is no denial in that.”
“Oh, I know that. But you also loved Alex. And it’s not like you guys ended things. She died.”
“She left.” Casey snapped. “I know it was for her own safety. But she didn’t die. She left.”
“I thought you had forgiven her.”
“I did. Which is why this is hard, and I cannot just…work with Alex as if nothing happened.”
“You and y/n are professionals, Casey. Act like one.” Elizabeth put her glasses on and returned her focus to her paperwork. She then sighed and looked back at Casey. “I’m sorry. I truly am. But this is to get justice.”
Casey nodded. “I know.”
Casey didn’t say anything else, she simply got up and left her office. Her mind was spinning as she tried to think what she was going to tell y/n. She felt bad enough about this whole situation, she had spent the last weeks trying to show y/n that it was her she loved, that it was her she wanted, and the things she did, and her feelings were genuine. But she knew y/n was still insecure, and honestly Casey couldn’t blame her. As she walked to her office, her heart dropped at the sight of a blonde-haired woman standing by her desk.
“Alex.” Casey simply said.
Alex turned to look at Casey and smiled softly. “Guess Liz broke the news to you.”
Casey exhaled as she nodded, walking to her desk, and trying to avoid eye contact with Alex. “She did. I was just going to pick up my stuff and head to the squad room.”
Alex nodded. “Can I come with you?”
Casey wetted her lips anxiously, turning to look at Alex for a moment, feeling like her heart was going to burst out of her chest. “Maybe you should stay this one out. I need to…” she looked down at her briefcase trying to come up with an excuse.
“Talk to y/n?”
Casey looked back at Alex, the mention of her girlfriend making her feel guilty all over again. “Yes.”
“I’m sorry that I’m making you go through this.”
“It’s not…” Casey sighed as she shook her head. “Alex, it’s complicated. It’s not like I hate you or don’t want to ever see you again. I told you that you’d always have a special place in my heart. And I meant it. But…it’s hard.”
Alex nodded as she shrugged. “I don’t want to come between you and y/n.”
“I know.” Casey said softly. “I don’t want that either.”
Alex sighed. “I’ll check the files with Liz. And you can find me there once you’re back.”
Casey nodded. “Sounds good.” She said before she left her office, sighing loudly as she walked to the elevator.
Casey felt like she was between two walls, she felt even more confused and upset about this whole thing, more so with herself, how she was debating about this whole thing when she was sure that she loved y/n. But seeing Alex again…fuck. As she arrived at the squad room, her eyes landed on y/n rapidly, and she felt her heart dropping at the serious look on her face. Y/n walked to her and tried to offer a small smile before she grabbed her hand and pulled her into an empty office.
“You heard, didn’t you?” Casey asked softly.
Y/n sighed as she closed the door, turning to look at Casey. “Cragen cracked the news just now.”
Casey sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair. “Yeah, I just had a meeting with Liz.”
Y/n tilted her head as she pulled Casey close to her. “Are you okay?”
Casey nodded softly as she smiled. “I am, I just…” she sighed. “I don’t want things to be weird between us.”
Y/n sighed softly as she placed her hand on Casey’s cheek. “My love…we talked about this. I trust you and I know what Alex was for you.”
Casey nodded again. “I know but still.”
Y/n nibbled on her lip for a slight moment as she stared at Casey. “Do you think maybe…we should take a small break?”
Casey’s heart dropped as she stared at y/n. “What?”
“I don’t mean this in a bad way. I just mean this…for you to clear your mind, and don’t feel pressured because of me.” Y/n said softly.
“No, I…” Casey shook her head. “Y/n…”
“We are okay, Casey.” Y/n smiled softly as she stroked her cheek. “I still love you, and I always will. But I know you’re debating with yourself in that pretty head of yours.”
Casey sighed as she looked down at the floor. “I’m sorry, this is just…hard.”
“I know.” Y/n smiled softly. “I gotta stay today going through the case. I’ll text you anyway, okay? And if you need anything, you know where to find me.”
Casey felt her eyes getting teary but nodded softly. She placed her hands on y/n’s waist and pulled her close to her, kissing her lips softly. “I love you…I really do.” She whispered softly against her lips.
“I know.” Y/n smiled as she kissed her lips again.
********************
“Hi, have you seen Liv?”
Y/n looked up and her heart stopped for a moment as she stared at Alex. “Oh, uh…she went for lunch, it was her turn to go.”
“Oh, got it.” Alex cleared her throat. “I’ll uh…come back later then.”
Y/n nodded softly. “Alright.” She said almost in a whisper.
Alex sighed softly as she turned to look at y/n. “I’m sorry.”
Y/n looked back up at Alex as she furrowed her brows. “Sorry for what?”
“Because I know that I messed things up with you and Casey. And I didn’t mean to. I really didn’t. I didn’t expect this to happen. I don’t really know what I expected but I am really sorry.” Alex said rapidly, almost running out of breath as she spoke.
Y/n sighed softly as she shook her head. “Alex…I…know. And I know you didn’t do this on purpose. None of this was planned or anything, and I don’t hate you or anything.” She licked her lips anxiously, sighing again. “I’m just…I do wish things could’ve stayed the way they were. And I’m also…sorry.”
Alex shook her head. “She had a right to move on.”
“I know. But still.” Y/n offered a small smile. “Everything is okay, Alex. I promise.”
Alex nodded as she offered a small. “Good. I don’t want us to be in bad terms or anything.”
“We’re good. And…happy to have you back. I know you and Casey will do amazing.”
Alex smiled. “Thank you.”
Y/n watched Alex go and she took a deep breath before she exhaled, feeling her body relax not even noticing that she had been holding her breath and that she was tense. She shook her head softly as she went back to her computer and tried to focus back on what she was doing, but she still couldn’t get out of her head everything that was happening. What if the universe really didn’t want them together and Alex kept coming back because they were supposed to be together? The way Olivia had talked about Casey and Alex the first time…it sounded like they were meant to be and there had been an inconvenience that had stopped them for a moment, and then there she entered…was she an inconvenience too?
********************
Casey nibbled on her lip as she stood outside the courtroom, she had already talked to Elliot, Alex and even Moredock had joined the conversation. But there was no sign of y/n, and for a moment she feared that she wouldn’t show up anymore, or maybe she had been distracted with Olivia with something about the case, or…maybe she just didn’t want to see her. Casey sighed softly as she leaned back against the wall, looking at her watch over and over again. And then just as she turned to look at the elevator, her heart started beating hard as she noticed y/n walking to her. Casey smiled softly as she walked to y/n, meeting her halfway.
“You came.” Casey said softly.
Y/n nodded as she smiled. “I told you I’d come.” She placed her hand on Casey’s shoulder. “Are you okay?”
Casey nodded. “Yes. I mean…it’s stupid if we lose to be honest.”
“I really believe you could’ve won this on your own.” Y/n grinned softly.
Casey chuckled softly as she nodded. “Thank you.” She wetted her lips anxiously as she stared into y/n’s eyes. “Y/n…can I…” she sighed. “Can I please-“
“Case, we’re starting.” Elliot called out for Casey as he walked inside with Alex.
Casey turned to look at them before she groaned softly and turned back to y/n. “Well, I guess-“
Y/n placed her hand on Casey’s cheek and leaned in to kiss her lips softly. She took a moment, not caring that they had to go inside already. She then smiled softly against her lips, pulling away enough to look into green eyes. “You got this, Case.”
Casey smiled softly, leaning into y/n’s hand for a moment. “Thank you.” She whispered softly before they walked inside the courtroom.
The squad could feel the tension in the whole courtroom, it wasn’t unusual for this to happen, but this case specially had taken a toll on everyone. Y/n’s eyes were fixated on Casey the whole time, something in her mind telling her that something was wrong. She suddenly started feeling anxious, her leg bouncing and her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her blazer. She kept staring at the defendant’s side and back to Casey and Alex, something didn’t sit right but she couldn’t quiet tell what. Elliot noticed this as he sat beside her, furrowing his brows as he looked over to where y/n kept looking at and then looking back at her. At first, he didn’t say anything, focusing on the trial and what they were saying, but he couldn’t help but worry about the way y/n’s demeanor had suddenly changed. He carefully and slowly placed his hand on her bouncing leg, getting her attention and helping her snap out of her trance.
Elliot leaned in so he could whisper in her ear. “Everything alright?”
Y/n sighed softly as she leaned in too. “I don’t know. I feel like something is not right.”
Elliot furrowed his brows. “About what?”
Y/n looked back at the defendant’s side, and then back at Elliot. “Maybe it’s just me but…I don’t know.”
Elliot nodded. “We’ll keep an eye, okay? Don’t worry.” He grabbed her hand in his and squeezed it, offering a small smile.
Y/n returned the small smile and looked back at Casey, sighing softly. She tried to focus back on what they were saying, happy that the judge had taken Casey and Alex’s side but also trying to keep her eye on everyone around. The time seemed to slow down at some point, feeling the whole tension around, making her anxiety increase even if she was trying to hide it. She kept looking around with Elliot, making sure to also let Munch and Fin know that they were keeping an eye on everyone. But then, what had felt like time had slowed down, suddenly changed when she caught Kyle standing up, and before she knew, he pulled a gun out of his pocket.
“Race traitor!” Kyle screamed, and suddenly the whole courtroom was filled with screams and shots.
Y/n stood up rapidly, getting her gun out and trying to get to Casey as soon as possible, but Kyle had gotten there first, holding the gun against Casey’s head. Y/n felt like once again, time had stopped, and everything was in slow motion as she screamed for Casey. She pointed the gun at Kyle and heard Munch telling him to drop it but then another shot went off, making y/n turn to see they had hit Munch. Next thing she knew, Kyle pushed Casey to the floor and fired another shot directed at Elliot, and then he saw the way he turned directly to Alex who was about to walk to Casey. Without even thinking, y/n moved Alex out of the way and dropped to the floor as she got hit, groaned at the burning pain coursing through her body.
“Y/n!” Casey yelled as she crawled to y/n. “No, no, no. Y/n. Baby.” She cradled her head in her lap, and tried to find where she had been shot, gasping as she noticed it had been near her heart. “No, no. Baby, you need to stay with me.” Her hand went to y/n’s cheek, trying to get her to look up at Casey. “Alex, I need help!” She screamed desperately as she felt tears rolling down her cheeks.
Alex got on y/n’s side rapidly and pressed on the wound, earning a guttural scream from y/n. “I know, I’m sorry! I need to stop the bleeding.” She looked at Casey and tried to look back to find anyone who could help, when she figured out, they were down, she started yelling. “Someone call 911!”
Casey looked back down at y/n, feeling a knot in her throat and her chest heaving. “Y/n, please stay with me. Please. I need you to stay with me. Help is coming.”
Y/n coughed, blinking rapidly as she tried to keep her eyes on Casey. “C-Case…”
“I’m here, baby. I’m right here.” Casey’s voice broke as she stared down at y/n, stroking her cheek softly. “Keep your eyes open for me.”
“I can’t…” y/n whispered softly. “Hurts.”
“I know it hurts. But you need to stay with me.”
Y/n did everything in her power to smile, her eyes locked on green ones. “I-I love you, Casey…s-so much.”
Casey’s eyes widened as she shook her head. “No. Don’t do that. Don’t you fucking dare do that.”
“M’sorry.” Y/n felt tears rolling down her eyes, trying her best to not close her eyes. “You…you are the l-love of my life.” She smiled softly. “And don’t…don’t say I am too.” She huffed a weak chuckle. “I’m okay with…knowing that I…that you l-loved me.”
Casey nodded. “I love you…so much.” Her voice broke as she spoke, sobbing quietly as she kept stroking her cheek.
Y/n nodded, turning her head to look at Alex. “S-Stop.” She placed her hand on top of Alex’s.
Alex shook her head, trying to keep y/n’s hand away. “What? No! Help is coming! Y/n don’t give up! Stay awake for Casey!”
Y/n smiled weakly, trying not to choke as she started coughing blood. “Alex…t-take care of Casey. P-Please.” She said softly.
Alex looked at Casey for a moment, blue eyes meeting green ones, before she returned her stare to y/n. “Y/n, don’t say that. Don’t-“
“Promise me.” Y/n pleaded as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Alex took a shaky breath before she nodded. “I promise.” She whispered softly, offering a small smile.
“Good…” Y/n smiled weakly before she turned to look at Casey again, finally letting her eyes closed.
Casey shook her head, sobbing loudly. “No! Y/n wake up! Please! Someone help!”
Alex felt tears rolling down her eyes as she stared at y/n. At Casey’s screams, she moved beside Casey and wrapped her arms around her. “Casey…she’s gone.”
Casey sobbed uncontrollably as she held onto y/n but leaned over Alex. She was living in a nightmare…again.
********************
Alex knocked on Casey’s door softly, offering a small smile as she leaned over the doorframe. “Hey.”
Casey looked up at Alex and smiled sadly. “Hi.” She whispered softly, looking back down at her hands. “How did you know I was here?”
“Olivia and Elliot went over your place and didn’t find you there.” Alex shrugged. “You always stayed longer in your office if you needed to. Or I’d find you at the cages.” She grinned a little.
Casey huffed a weak chuckle. “Not really in the mood to go to the cages, but eventually.” She said softly, nibbling on her lip as she tried to hold back her tears. “Y/n always said how she wanted to die as a hero.” She shook her head. “I always told her she was an idiot for saying that. And…she did die as a hero.”
Alex nodded as she sighed, walking inside Casey’s office, and leaning over her desk, looking down at her. “I should’ve paid more attention.”
Casey shook her head. “She would’ve done it for anyone. Don’t blame yourself for that.” She looked up at Alex, offering a small smile. “You tried to help.”
Alex nodded. “You know that…I will…keep my promise, right?”
Casey only stared at Alex, not sure what to say or do. She then looked down at her hands again, fidgeting with her fingers. “I know.”
“I’m gonna be a pain in the ass.” Alex said a little playfully, trying to lighten up the mood even if she knew Casey was heartbroken.
Casey couldn’t help the small smile that appeared on her face. “You were always a pain in the ass.” She looked back at Alex and stared at her for a moment again. “You won’t…leave?”
Alex shook her head. “Liz offered me a spot here. My…old spot.” She smiled. “Well…you’re the main ADA, but…I’m gonna be helping you.”
Casey felt her heart stopping for a moment but couldn’t help the smile on her face. “Good.”
Alex nodded and then stood up, offering her hand. “C’mon.”
Casey furrowed her brows. “What?”
“I’m 100% sure that you haven’t eaten anything.” Alex raised her brow. “So, c’mon.”
Casey sighed softly as she grabbed Alex’s hand. “Your treat?”
“Of course. Anything you want.” Alex smiled softly, squeezing her hand before she dropped it.
“It’s gonna be a big bill then.” Casey grabbed her stuff and followed Alex. She turned to look at her office for a moment and sighed softly before she closed the door.
********************
“C’mon, we’re gonna be late!” Alex yelled as she grabbed her stuff, cursing under her breath as she noticed she now had her hands full of bags and she still needed to put on her coat.
“Alex, it’s 7:15 am. We have time to get there.” Casey chuckled softly as she looked at Alex and grabbed some of the bags she had in hand. “Go get your coat on, nerd.”
Alex furrowed her brows. “How am I a nerd for wanting to leave early?” She scoffed.
Casey shrugged. “Still a nerd.” She grinned as she leaned in and kissed her lips softly. “What is she doing anyway?”
Alex shook her head as she sighed, walking to the stairs as she grabbed her coat. “Harper Grace Cabot! You better get down here or no ice cream after school!”
Casey chuckled as she stood beside Alex, leaning in and kissing her cheek softly. “You know that’s not true, you’ll take her anyway.”
“She’s my little princess, how can I not?” Alex grinned softly, turning her head to the stairs as she heard footsteps.
“Comin’! Comin’!” Harper suddenly jumped and skipped the last two steps, standing right in front of Alex and Casey, smiling softly at them. “Mama, d’you like what mommy did to my hair? I look like a real princess!” She said as she turned to show Alex, showing her soft redhead curls falling perfectly on her shoulders.
Alex chuckled softly as she leaned down to kiss her forehead. “You always look like a princess, babygirl. But specially today! You look beautiful. Mommy did a good job.”
Harper giggled as she nodded, grabbing her coat and then her backpack. “Mommy, I know you say not to go to the closet, but I was lookin’ for my blue dress and I…found this.” She got a picture out of her pocket and handed it to Casey.
Casey took it and her heart dropped as she noticed it was a picture of y/n with Casey, one of the first times they went to the bar with the squad, Olivia had taken the picture. She turned to look at Alex, unsure if it was right or not to talk about y/n. After y/n’s death, Casey felt once again that she had lost herself, but this time, she let everyone around her help her, not letting her sadness take over her like last time. Unsure at first, she let Alex back in her life, the started having a routine again of going out for lunch, spending time in each others' offices just going through their files, and every now and then going for a drink. It wasn’t Alex’s intention to try again with Casey -at least she didn’t want Casey to think that was her purpose- but she wanted to keep her promise to y/n.
After a year or so, they both had finally agreed that they wanted to see where things could go, Casey hesitated a lot, but eventually, she let her heart open one more time, and thankfully…this time, was the right time. Now, seven years later, they had bought a beautiful house, had tried to get pregnant, which at the end, it was decided that Casey would go through the procedure, and had their beautiful baby girl with beautiful red hair and blue eyes. Casey had felt bad and guilty when she had started dating Alex again, but she knew in her heart that it was the right decision. In Casey’s heart, she admitted that she loved y/n endlessly, she had been her lover, her sunshine through the darkness, but she figured out that at the end of the day…Alex had been the love of her life. It took her a while to accept it, but eventually, she came to terms with it.
Alex smiled softly as she looked back at Harper. “She was someone special for mommy. A very special person.” She turned to look at Casey.
Casey smiled softly as she looked at Alex, her whole body warming. She then turned to look at Harper and nodded. “She was part of my life for a few years, and she was someone very special. I keep her close to my heart.”
Harper smiled softly. “I wish I could met her.”
Alex chuckled softly as she knelt down and fixed her coat. “I could have met her. But yes…she was a nice and kind person.”
Casey stared at both of them for a moment, as if she wanted to take a mental picture of this very moment. Y/n would’ve loved her name…she always mentioned that Grace was her favorite name, and Alex was happy to give it to their daughter. Y/n would’ve loved to meet her too. Casey took a deep breath before she put the picture in her briefcase, kneeling down too and wrapping her arms around both Alex and Harper.
“Well, princess. We gotta get to school now. If you want to walk in the park for a bit, we gotta go now.” Casey grinned softly.
“The park! Yes! Lessgo!” Harper ran to the door and opened it, waiting outside and yelling for her moms.
Casey stood up along with Alex, smiling softly at her. “Thank you.”
Alex smiled, wrapping her arm around Casey. “She was someone special. And that’s how she should be remembered.”
Casey nodded softly, leaning in, and kissing her lips softly. “Let’s go.” She said softly as she grabbed Alex’s hand and pulled her to the door, laughing as she saw how excited her daughter was.
Casey thought she could never open her heart to anyone else after what she had gone through in the past, but she was lucky enough to say that she had been loved by a sweet and kind person, and now, she was still being loved by the love of her life. Even if sometimes things don't go the way we want them to, there’s always a chance that things will be for the better.

Bumblebee enjoyed spending time with you whenever possible. You always made him feel special, and he returned the same by making you feel just the same. He understood you were very different, species wise, but that doesn’t stop his feelings from growing more fondly about you every passing day. The urge to confess keeps creeping, about to burst out at any moment, but he holds it all in fearing you’ll reject him, and so he continues to be your friend.
What he doesn’t know is that you feel the very same about him, but keep it all sealed up, despite just how much it’s bothering you. It feels like an itch you can’t reach and it’s growing more intense the more you spend time with him. You do ask yourself the worst that could happen and the worst scenarios always run through your head, over and over again it happens, and this is what holds you back. Its torture, and you’re unsure just how much longer you can hold it in.
On one of Bumblebee’s days off he drives you to one of your favourite spots to hang out together, someplace quiet, where it’s only just you two and mother nature surrounding. The drive is always nice and he places your favourite music, listening to you sing along with your hand out the rolled down window against the wind. The sound of your voice is a beautiful melody to Bumblebee’s audios, and he would love to sing along with you, but since he lost his voice all he can do is play whatever music you wanted. You’re happy, and that’s all that mattered to him.
Once you arrive, Bumblebee carries you across the thicket towards the river bank, settling you down once in the clear and you both take in your surroundings and nature's music. It’s beautifully relaxing. You breathe in deeply and let out a satisfied exhale while setting the sun observe into your skin. Bumblebee mimics this, just to be a part of your relaxation.
“Feel that sun, breathe in that fresh air, hear nature's music, this is the kind of life to live.” You say wearing a fond smile. “If only this was right in my backyard, it would be parricide.”
"Is that something you would like? Why not change your life to have this?" He asked through his radio over a few channels.
“Oh, as much as I would like to, I have work and friends I don’t want to leave. Sometimes that’s the way of life, but I have no regrets. What I already have is something that is irreplaceable, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.” That’s the truth you speak as you offer him a sweet smile.
Bumblebee listens closely, enticed by your speech. You were such a wonderful human being that saw so much beauty in everything, so caring, beautiful. Finding the right channel through his radio, he goes to speak, to confess something that's been nagging in his helm.
"You're perfect, kind, and you-"
“Oh Bee, look over there.” You didn’t mean to cut him off but you notice something in the water struggling to swim. It’s a tiny Bumblebee, who had made an unfortunate mistake and got themselves submerged in the water. Without hesitation you take your shoes off and enter the shallow bank, gently using your hands you scoop it up, saving its life. There is little care about your clothes getting wet or dirty, all that mattered to you was the poor little guy.
Bumblebee watches this happen and tilts his head curiously at the small creature sitting in your hands, tired from the struggle, but resting calmly as they try to get themselves dry and regain their energy. He’s seen cruelness in the universe, even earth. Such a creature wasn’t always looked out for and so are forced to take care of themselves without help, and in this creature's final moments near death, they are saved by the most kind hearted human this universe didn’t deserve. Bugs die all the time, every day, but this bug won’t be one of them today.
“Poor thing.” You coo calmly at it, bringing your hand closer to your face. “Don’t worry little guy, you’re safe now. You can rest there for as long as you need.” Looking back at Bumblebee you give an innocent smile. “I know it might seem strange talking to a bug, but I believe all living things can understand us somehow, even though we can’t understand them, but there’s a connection and it's up to us to find it, to make that connection work. They need help sometimes and it's up to us to offer that help, it’s a choice. There’s beauty in this world and these little guys have a big part in it, pollinating the world and bringing life everywhere.” You explain to him, all the while you watch the fuzzy bumblebee in your hand with a smile. “Thank you, little one.”
Bumblebee tilts his helm curiously. “Why…appreciation?”
“Well, like I said, they help keep our world thriving, and without them our world wouldn’t be anything beautiful like it is. Like you and the autoboots, you’re here to protect earth and humans from decepticons. Without you, our world would be destroyed.”
Then, Bumblebee feels a heavy emotion, a dread. "We failed our world. Protecting yours is our priority. I don't want to fail you."
Tilting your head up, you listen to what he says to you, curious by the tone you picked up on. "I believe in you, Bee. You could never disappoint me. Sorry, I think I cut you off before. What were you going to say?"
Now it's Bumblebee's turn to hesitate, a shy little child worried about the outcome of what he truly wanted to say to you. Humming buzzing sound from him, before he finally confesses through his radio. "You complete me."
His words make your heart skip a beat. "I...I complete you? What do you mean by that?" You need to make sure, to dig deeper, find the source of what he just said to you.
Bumblebee stares at the crawling bee on her hand, desperately trying to clean and dry itself. He knows there's no backing out of it, and answers without looking at her.
"When you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." A famous quote he found, and the only one he seemed to find and fit in the situation he brought himself in.
The confession truly takes your breath away, a warmth floods through your entire body, causing goosebumps to rush through your skin and tickling your tiny hairs. Still, as beautiful as his quote was, you needed more clarification, just to be sure.
"Bee, do you love me?" As forward as it sounded, it's all you could think of in the moment, to put it out there. Your eyes are fixed on him as you await his answer.
Through his sudden shyness, he tilts his helm at you and manages to give a simple nod, right before tearing his gaze away back onto the bug you continue to hold. It's something you've only dreamed about, a love confession from your favourite yellow bug, from Bumblebee.
Stepping closer you touch his surprisingly warm plating at his servo, gaining his attention, watching as his baby blue optics shift directly onto you, looking like a frightened child that tugs at your heart. There was no need to question further as to why he didn't say anything before, because you had also done it, keeping your feelings all bottled up. Both of you were worried about the outcome, but now it's all happening, and there is only one thing to do that struck your mind.
"Kiss me."
For a split second Bumblebee is confused before his optics glow brightly, happiness blooming through him hearing these words. Slowly he leans forward, his helm tilts, and you meet with him before sealing your soft lips over the grill of his mouth guard. It might not seem like it but you feel him kissing you back, gently pressing as you let the kiss linger for as long as possible. There's a concoction of emotions, your racing heart beats quickly, a bundle of nerves tightens at your chest, and a flood of happiness bursts through your whole body. The moment leaves you giggling silently on the inside, a love and affection latching onto the moment with what feels like butterflies fluttering around your stomach.
When the kiss is finally broken all you both can do is stare at one another closely, fond eyes and optics holding together before your beaming smile grows more. "Oh Bee, you've got a bee on you."
That he does. In the moment the tiny bee had crawled from her hand and onto his face, still crawling around but looking better than before. He doesn't mind, in fact he enjoys having the tiny bug on him, thinking it as a trust bond just like the bug had for you.
Your hand rests against his cheek plating, fingers gently soothing while he leans into your touch, humming in delight as the weight is lifted so quickly from the both of you, all worries and nerves no longer lingering.
"We're both a little silly." You hear yourself say. "But maybe that's what makes us perfect together. I want so much for us. You're not only my friend, but the one I've grown to love so much. Is this what you want, for something more between us?"
Bumblebee nods eagerly before looking up around, noticing the sun setting and the moon lightly appearing under the pink bubble gum sky and speaks through a channel of his radio. "What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey, that's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon."
Letting out a pleasant giggle you hold your hand over across his servo. "As lovely as that sounds I don't think mother nature would appreciate that. I want you. I want our fairy tale, that's all I need."
Bumblebee lets out another low hum before moving his servo up to his face to allow the tiny bee to crawl onto his digit and bring it back down between you both. Finally, the bee had enough strength, twitching its fuzzy body and taking flight, flying around them both as if it was trying to thank them, before flying away and back to its colony through the vibrant trees.
It was a beautiful moment, one neither of you will ever forget. Turning to Bumblebee again, you kiss his cheek plating and beam brightly. "Can we stay a little longer? Maybe we could cuddle?"
He's more than happy to do that. "Happily ever after."

smaller than everyone chilchuck being understood by autistic laios. is this anything. (i am small and autistic and felt deeply represented by your post)
Oh my god I spent so long writing a FUCKING RESPONSE and tumblr deleted it kill me. ANYWAY “is this anything” friend this is everything. 🤝
I think the two of them are uniquely able to understand each other bcuz in summary, the things they are both most vulnerable and affected by, the things that have probably damaged their lives most, are things they cannot conceal from others. Laios’ autism and Chilchuck’s size. There’s VERY good discussions on whether Chil is totally normal, autistic but very good at masking, somewhere inbetween, or even whether he’s cis, and those would all INFORM this conversation but whichever way you read him, he is socially aware enough to see that Laios is NOT. And it drives him crazy and he is constantly frustrated and trying to teach him to be more aware of himself as the party leader and just “be more normal”. In my opinion this is because Chil KNOWS how much it hurts to live with a part of yourself you can’t control that makes it hard to make your way through the world — in his own way, he is trying to take care of Laios. This may be both for selfish (he wants a good stable party and that requires a good socially savvy party leader) and selfless (chilaios…) reasons, but either way. It’s essentially just there in the text To Me.
Tumblr media
Chilchuck is probably extra frustrated because, at least as he seems to see it, Laios COULD choose to shave off those rough edges of himself and “pass” as respectable/“normal”. (Another reason I kinda think Chil has his own autism thing happening. In my experience, shamefully, I’ve been least patient with people who I see as like me but they just haven’t figured out how to stop the world from hurting them like I have.) (I imagine chil often thinks things like. why don’t you just change. Don’t you see how much easier it would be for you. Don’t you see how much you’re letting the world hurt you. Don’t you know what that will do to you, over time.) meanwhile Chilchuck cannot stop the rest of the world from seeing him as either childLIKE or just straight up a tall-man kid. No matter how professional he is or how scathingly he can insult people or how much he can drink — he can’t stop what people SEE when they LOOK at him (this also makes him a great trans character To Me). I think Laios knows exactly how this feels. He’s not seen as a kid, so it’s not exactly the same. But despite having everything Chilchuck would like to have (tall, looks manly, socially respectable in appearances)… Laios is never going to pass as normal once people get to know him. He ISNT socially aware. He CAN’T pretend to be someone else anymore, not once the story starts.
Tumblr media
So autistic Laios keeps bumbling through social situations that make people want to fucking hunt him for sport. He can’t say the right things, and when he has tried to be himself, we can assume it’s been very poorly received in the past, both when dungeoneering and prior as a little kid. When he’s not being manic about his monster special interest he seems to constantly be doing an Autism Stare that serves to keep people away from him and his sister.
Tumblr media
The fact that Chil and Laios both, to some degree, can’t hide what they hate most about themselves, makes them uniquely able to understand each other. And treat each other with sympathy/empathy underneath it all. Laios is the one out of their party who most treats Chilchuck as an adult with agency (understands the stress of his work, defends him, lets him steer situations, listens to his advice, never demeans him or gives any indication he thinks he’s a child altho he did assume Chil is younger than him). If the daydream hour extras that give rough indications of who joined the party when are canon, Chilchuck is the party member who’s been with the party the longest, almost since Falin and Laios founded it, despite thinking of Laios as “the party leader comma I GUESS”. He keeps trying to beat lessons about leading parties into Laios’ head despite many ppl around him considering him a lost cause. As I’ve said in other posts…. He could probably just fucking walk out at any time and either retire or get a different party, and we know Chil has no problem hitting da bricks, but he doesn’t.
The things about themselves that make them most able to relate to each other are also the things that sometimes make them grate against each other (Chil berating Laios in the way only a guy with a major complex can and Laios pouting about it lmao. Laios continuing to be a big cute socially inept dummy anyways.) BUT THAT’S LOVE, BABEY!!!

I never realized how liberating writing fanfiction would be. I hadn’t written creatively in years. It’s been so long that I kind of forgot what it felt like. The childlike rush of pouring your heart out onto a blank page, not caring about the results as long as you were having fun. I’ve tried writing fanfic a couple of times, for different fandoms across the years, but never finished anything I was really happy with, nothing that I felt comfortable sharing with the world. But something just clicked for me this past week. I realized how much fun it was to stretch out my writing muscles, to get inside the heads of my favorite characters. I realized that it didn’t have to be perfect to be worthy of being shared and loved by others. I realized that I had so many stories inside myself - more than I thought possible.
But perhaps what I’m most in awe of is fanfic readers. The people who read my work and leave kudos and bookmarks and comments - one word comments, sweet comments, silly comments, paragraph-long comments. I love them all. I used to be afraid of leaving comments on AO3, afraid I wouldn’t have enough words, wouldn’t have the right words, to depict how I felt. But when I felt firsthand how much those comments meant to me I started leaving more and more of them, spreading a digital paper trail of love to all my favorite authors. More and more often I recognize the profile names and images in my comment section and think, Hey, I know you! Now I’m not just a guest on AO3, or a passive reader. I belong here.
I won’t lie and say I don’t miss drawing a bit, my previous creative outlet. There are plenty of drawings inside me too, itching to be realized. I really just don’t have the time for two time extensive hobbies, not when I need to balance school and practicing and little things like sleeping and eating and relaxing. I miss it, but not as much as I thought I would. There’s a level of investment to sharing a story online that feels…special. When I post my art, I get engagement, and it feels nice, but ultimately, most people are only spending about ten seconds looking at the work I spent eight hours on, if that. When someone reads my fics, we’ve now spent time together. You’ve lived inside my head for a bit, made it your home. It’s about feeling seen, I think. Writing makes me feel understood in a way visual art sometimes doesn’t. It makes me feel vulnerable in the same way performing music does, but less exposed too. It’s interesting to me.
The only downside, if you can call it that, is now that the writing bug has infected me, I’m finding it harder and harder to stop. I’ll have an idea and then suddenly five hours have flown by because I’m on a creative streak and I just want to write one more idea down, which turns into two, and so on and so forth. I dread stopping, because what if I forget something? What if I get into a writing block later? Suddenly I have people who want to read the things I write and I want to provide it, I really do, but I also have responsibilities. I say, as I write this, ignoring my audition tomorrow afternoon.
I still have a bit of embarrassment attached to fandom works. When I tell acquaintances that I like to draw or write, I rarely tell them I mean fanart and fanfiction. As if loving something that deeply, that sincerely, is inherently shameful in this age of irony and soulless remakes. Especially when my interests usually consist of media marketed towards children, nevermind the fact that it has more emotional maturity than most ‘adult’ works. But I’m trying to get better about it. A lot of my closest friends know about my hobbies, and some I’ve even let see my work. It’s terrifying but also giddying, seeing them like an art post or comment on a fic. After all, to reap the rewards of being loved, one must submit themselves to the mortifying ordeal of being known, or something like that.
I realized today that I’ve written over 30,000 words in the past two weeks about about two characters who don’t belong to me, but whom I’ve made my own.
And I’ve never felt happier

Echoes of regret, melodies of longing
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x reader Warnings: none Notes: I have not proof-read this, so bare with me if there are errors or storylines that aren't 100% storylining lol Summery: In this tale of heartbreak and second chances, Noah ends his relationship with you to pursue his long lost love, Holly. But when he encounters you again, old feelings resurface, forcing him to confront the consequences of his choice.
Tumblr media
Noah's heart felt heavy as he stood outside venue, watching you disappear into the crowd with another man by your side. It had been months since he had broken your heart, yet the pain of his decision still lingered, gnawing at him with each passing day.
He tried to bury himself in his work, pouring his energy into his music and his relationship with Holly, the girl he thought he actually loved and belonged to. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake off the memories of you once he saw you again—the way you smiled, the sound of your laughter, the warmth of your touch. As he walked back inside the backstage area, his eyes scanned the room, searching for his girlfriend. He found her at the bar, chatting with a some of your friends. She looked beautiful, her hair shining under the dim lights, but Noah couldn't find it in himself to feel happy. Instead, a wave of jealousy washed over him as he thought of you, laughing and enjoying yourself with someone else during his show. He couldn't understand why seeing you with another man affected him so deeply, why he couldn't just move on and forget about you since he was the one that made the decision to leave you "Hey, babe" Holly greeted him with a smile as he approached her. "Are you okay? You look a little distracted. Noah forced a smile, trying to push aside his tumultuous thoughts. "Yeah, I'm fine" he replied, wrapping an arm around her waist. "Just thinking about the show tonight. I want it to be perfect” His girlfriend nodded understandingly, but Noah could tell that she sensed something was off. He hated himself for lying to her, for pretending that everything was okay when it clearly wasn't. As the night wore on, Noah found himself unable to shake off the feeling of unease that had settled over him. He tried to focus on the music, on the cheers of the crowd, but his mind kept drifting back to you—to the way you had looked when you walked away from him, to the way you had smiled at that damn guy by your side. And amidst the whirlwind of emotions, it was show time. Noah noticed you the second he came on stage, seated in the friends and family section. You were beautifully engrossed in the performance, but with absolutely no acknowledgment towards him. Noah understood though. It was clear you were here for your best friend, Folio, not him. He sighed inwardly, realizing the weight of his actions, knowing that he had lost someone truly special. As the night concluded, Noah left with Holly, but a part of him remained with you, lingering in the shadows of what could have been while you left with the other guy.
Several months had passed since Noah had last seen you, but the memory of that night still haunted him. He had tried to push you out of his mind, but suddenly you were always there, lurking in the shadows of his thoughts. It was a warm summer evening when Noah received an invitation from Jolly, inviting him to a gig at a local bar. Despite his initial hesitation, Noah decided to go, hoping that it would provide a welcome distraction from his troubled mind. As he walked into the bar, Noah felt a sense of déjà vu wash over him. The dimly lit room was filled with the sound of laughter and music, and for a moment, he allowed himself to forget about his troubles and lose himself in the moment. But as he made his way through the crowd, Noah's heart skipped a beat when he saw you standing by the bar, chatting with Jolly and, sigh, this fucking other dude again. You looked radiant, your smile lighting up the room while the man beside you looked absolutely fucking boring, and Noah felt a surge of jealousy wash over him. He tried to ignore you, to focus on the music, but his eyes kept drifting back to you, unable to tear himself away. He watched as you laughed and joked with your friends, with his friends, feeling a pang of regret deep within his chest. "Why don't you go talk to her?" Nicholas suddenly asked, interrupting his thoughts. Noah shook his head, his jaw clenching with frustration. "I don't want to” he muttered, turning away from you and taking a sip of his drink.
Nicholas frowned, sensing the tension in the air but left it at that. Thank god.
As the night wore on, Noah found himself unable to concentrate on the music, his mind consumed by thoughts of you. He watched as you mingled with some of the guys, your laughter ringing out like a knife to his heart. The memory of the previous encounter, when you made no move whatsoever to even acknowledge him, pierced through his thoughts, deepening the ache in his chest. It was that silent rejection that hurt him the most, a stark reminder of the distance between you now.
But then you suddenly caught his eye, Noah felt a surge of emotion wash over him. He wanted nothing more than to take you in his arms and tell you how sorry he was for everything he had done, but he knew that it was too late now.
Instead, he turned away, his heart heavy with regret. He knew that he had lost you forever, he couldn't help but wonder if he would ever find a way to make things right.
But just as he was lost in his thoughts, you appeared beside him, your expression unreadable. Noah's heart skipped a beat, and he swallowed hard, unsure of what to say. “Hi there” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. Noah was caught off guard, his throat tight with emotion. “Hey” he replied, his voice barely audible over the sound of the music. For a moment, neither of you said anything, the tension between you palpable. Noah could feel the weight of your gaze on him, and he knew that he couldn't keep up the façade any longer. "I'm sorry" he blurted out, the words tumbling from his lips before he could stop them. "I'm sorry for everything I put you through, for hurting you the way I did. I never meant for any of it to happen, and I wish more than anything that I could take it all back." You looked at him, your expression unreadable. "I know" you said softly. "But it's too late now. I've moved on, Noah, and I'm happy." "I have a boyfriend now," you continued, your voice steady. "And he treats me the way I deserve to be treated. I'm sorry, Noah, but you had your chance, and you blew it." Noah felt as though he had been punched in the gut. He knew that he had no right to be sad, that he had brought this upon himself, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of bitterness at the thought of you with someone else.
He forced himself to swallow his pride, to accept the truth of your words. "I understand" he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just...I wish things could have been different, that I could have been the one to make you happy."
You looked at him, your eyes softening with sympathy. “Sometimes, things just aren't meant to be” you whispered, reaching out to touch his arm. And with that, you walked away. He knew it was too late now. You had moved on, and he had no right to intrude upon your happiness.
As he walked home alone later that, Noah couldn't shake off the feeling of emptiness that had settled over him. He had thought that Holly was the one for him, the one that got away and that he had a chance to make it work, but now he realized that he had only been fooling himself.
He knew he had to face the truth—that he still loved you, and that no amount of time or distance could ever change that. And as he lay in bed that night, staring up at the ceiling, with Holly beside him, but thinking about you.
—
A year had passed since that fateful night at the bar, and both Noah and you had experienced your fair share of ups and downs. Noah's relationship with his girlfriend had ended not long after the encounter at the bar, and you had recently broken up with your boyfriend thanks to Noah, but you would never admit that.
It was a warm summer afternoon when you found yourself standing outside the wedding venue, nerves fluttering in your stomach as you waited for Folio’s wedding to begin. You had been dreading this day ever since you received the invitation, knowing that it would mean coming face to face with Noah once again.
Despite your best efforts to move on, all the feelings came rushing back after that last encounter. You couldn't get him out of your head, his presence lingering in your thoughts like an unwelcome guest. And now, as you stood outside the venue, the memories of your time together flooded back with a bittersweet intensity. You remembered the way he used to look at you, with such warmth and affection, and how his touch could send shivers down your spine. But alongside those memories were the painful reminders of how it all fell apart, the heartbreak and betrayal still fresh in your mind.
But no matter what happened, you knew one thing for certain: seeing Noah again would reopen old wounds once again and stir up emotions you had tried so hard to bury. And as much as you wanted to move on, a part of you couldn't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, there was still something left? Such a fool.
As you stepped inside the venue, your heart skipped a beat when you saw him standing at the altar, his eyes fixed on Folio as he waited for his bride to walk down the aisle. He looked strikingly handsome, his hair neatly styled and his suit fitting him perfectly, he looked so damn fine. A rush of emotions surged through you at the mere sight of him, igniting an explosion in your stomach.
As the ceremony began, you tried to focus on the words being spoken, but your mind kept drifting back to Noah. You couldn't shake off the memories of your time together, of the love you had shared and the pain you had endured.
When the ceremony finally came to an end, you found yourself standing outside the venue, tears streaming down your cheeks as you watched Folio and his new wife walk down the steps hand in hand. It was a beautiful moment, but it only served to remind you of everything that you had lost.
Just as you were about to turn and leave for the toilet, you felt a hand on your shoulder, and you turned to see Noah standing beside you, his eyes filled with concern.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
You nodded, unable to speak as a lump formed in your throat. You wanted to tell him everything, to pour out your heart and soul and let him know how much he had hurt you, but you knew that it wouldn't change anything.
Instead, you forced yourself to smile, to pretend that everything was okay when deep down, you knew that it wasn't.
"Yeah, I'm fine" you replied, your voice barely audible over the sound of the crowd. "Just...just happy for Nick.”
Noah looked at you, his eyes searching yours for any sign of the pain that lay beneath the surface. For a moment, neither of you said anything, the tension between you palpable.
And then, without warning, Noah reached out and pulled you into his arms, holding you tight against his chest. You wanted to push him away, to tell him to leave you alone, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.
Instead, you buried your face in his shoulder and let yourself cry, letting all of the pent-up emotions that had been building inside you for years come pouring out.
But just as you were about to speak, Noah pulled away, his expression saddened.
"I'm sorry" he said softly, his voice barely audible over the sound of the crowd. "I'm sorry for everything I put you through, for hurting you the way I did. I never meant for any of it to happen, and I wish more than anything that I could take it all back."
You knew that Noah was hurting too, that he was struggling to come to terms with everything that had happened between you two.
And as you stood there in the fading light of the afternoon, surrounded by the sound of laughter and music, you couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, there was still hope for the two of you after all.
After the wedding ceremony, tensions continued to simmer between you and Noah. As the reception began, you found yourselves drawn into each other's orbit despite your best efforts to keep your distance.
The atmosphere was electric with the energy of the celebration, but beneath the surface, there was an undeniable tension that hung heavy in the air. Every glance, every touch, was laden with unspoken words and unresolved emotions.
As the night wore on, you found yourselves drifting further and further apart from the rest of the guests, drawn together by an invisible force that neither of you could resist.
And then, just as the music reached its crescendo, Noah found himself standing before you, his eyes burning with intensity as he reached out to touch your arm.
"We need to talk," he said, his voice low and urgent.
As you walked, you felt a sense of unease settle over you, knowing that whatever was about to happen would change everything between you. And then, without warning, Noah stopped in his tracks, turning to face you with a look of determination in his eyes.
"I need to tell you something," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Something that I should have said a long time ago."
You felt a knot form in your stomach at his words, knowing that whatever he was about to say would shatter the fragile peace that had been building between you.
And then, before you could stop him, Noah began to speak, his words tumbling out in a rush as he confessed everything.
As you listened, a wave of emotion washed over you, threatening to drown you in its intensity. Beneath it all, there was a sense of sadness—a longing for the love that had been lost.
Before you could respond, Noah closed the distance between you, enveloping you in an embrace that ignited a tumultuous mix of longing and uncertainty. His lips met yours in a fervent kiss, a collision of emotions and desire.
At first, you resisted, pushing him away with all of your strength. But as his lips continued to move against yours, you felt yourself begin to give in, the heat of the moment consuming you in its intensity.
As abruptly as it had begun, the kiss ended, leaving you standing in stunned silence as Noah withdrew, regret flickering in his gaze.
"Fuck, I'm sorry" he said softly, his voice barely audible over the sound of the music. "I shouldn't have done that. I know that it was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself."
“You say you’re sorry an awful lot” you replied dryly.
And then, just as Noah were about to respond, you reached out and pulled him by his collar, closer to you, your lips crashing down on his in a desperate kiss.
As the echoes of your shared kiss lingered in the air, a tender silence enveloped you, punctuated only by the soft cadence of your breaths.
With a gentle smile, you reached up to caress Noah's cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath your fingertips. "After all these years," he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur, "I still can't get you out of my head."
My eyes softened at his words, a flicker of hope igniting within them. "Me neither," I confessed, my voice filled with sincerity. "I've tried, but you've always been a part of me, no matter how hard I've tried to forget, no matter the mistakes and stupid decisions I’ve made” he said.
In that moment, amidst the whispers of the night and the lingering traces of your shared history, a sense of peace washed over you. Despite the trials and tribulations you had faced, you knew that your connection was undeniable, an unbreakable bond that had withstood the test of time.
As you stood there, lost in each other's gaze, you knew that your journey was far from over. But for now, in the quiet embrace of the night, you found solace in the knowledge that you were together once more, ready to face whatever the future held, hand in hand.

florence + the machine lyrics, high as hope edition
A SIDE
❛ i'm so high, i can see an angel. ❜ ❛ i hear your heart beating in your chest. ❜ ❛ the world slows 'till there's nothing left. ❜ ❛ in those heavy days in june when love became an act of defiance. ❜ ❛ hold onto each other. ❜ ❛ you were broken-hearted and the world was, too. ❜ ❛ i was beginning to lose my grip. i always held it loosely but this time i admit, i felt it really start to slip. ❜ ❛ at seventeen, i started to starve myself. ❜ ❛ i thought that love was a kind of emptiness. ❜ ❛ at least, i understood then the hunger i felt & i didn't have to call it loneliness. ❜ ❛ we all have a hunger. ❜ ❛ don't let it get you down, you're the best thing i've seen. ❜ ❛ we never found the answer but we knew one thing. ❜ ❛ in that pink dress, they're gonna crucify me. ❜ ❛ how could anything bad ever happen to you? ❜ ❛ you make a fool of death with your beauty. ❜ ❛ i thought that love was in the drugs. ❜ ❛ the more i took, the more it took away and i could never get enough. ❜ ❛ for a moment, i forgot to worry. ❜ ❛ i thought it doesn't get better than this. ❜ ❛ there can be nothing better than this. ❜ ❛ the world is at your fingertips. ❜ ❛ everything i ever did was just another way to scream your name. over and over and over again. ❜ ❛ i want a space to watch things grow. ❜ ❛ did i dream too big? do i have to let it go? ❜ ❛ what if one day there is no such thing as snow? ❜ ❛ i don't know anything. except that green is so green. ❜ ❛ there's a special kind of sadness that seems to come with spring. ❜ ❛ you need a big god. big enough to hold your love. ❜ ❛ you keep me up at night but to my messages, you do not reply. ❜ ❛ you know i still like you the most. ❜ ❛ you'll always be my favourite ghost. ❜ ❛ sometimes i think it's getting better and then it gets much worse. ❜ ❛ is it just part of the process? jesus christ, it hurts. ❜ ❛ though i know i should know better, i can make this work. ❜ ❛ shower your affection, let it rain on me. ❜ ❛ are you deeply sleeping or are you still awake? ❜ ❛ a good friend told me you've been staying out so late. ❜ ❛ be careful, my darling. be careful what it takes. ❜ ❛ from what i've seen so far, the good ones always seem to break. ❜ ❛ i can feel your anger from way across the sea. ❜ ❛ i was kissing strangers, i was causing such a scene. ❜ ❛ oh, the heart, it hides such unimaginable things. ❜ ❛ i want you so badly but you could be anyone. ❜ ❛ hold me down, i'm so tired now. ❜ ❛ leave me where i lie. ❜ ❛ i feel like i'm about to fall, the room begins to sway. ❜ ❛ i can hear the sirens but i cannot walk away. ❜ ❛ i thought i was flying but maybe i'm dying tonight. ❜
B SIDE
❛ i'm sorry i ruined your birthday. ❜ ❛ i guess i could go back, try and make my parents proud. ❜ ❛ i don't think it would be too long before i'm drunk again. ❜ ❛ this is the only thing i've ever had any faith in. ❜ ❛ [NAME], i don't say it enough. you are so loved. ❜ ❛ all the walls were melting and there were mermaids everywhere. hearts flew from my hands and i could see people's feelings. ❜ ❛ and you, you were the one i treated the worst. only because you loved me the most. ❜ ❛ we haven't spoken in a long time. i think about it sometimes. ❜ ❛ i don't know who i was back then and i hope and hope i would never treat anyone like that again. ❜ ❛ oh [NAME], you've always been my north star. ❜ ❛ i have to tell you something, i'm still afraid of the dark. ❜ ❛ do you understand that with every seed you sow you make this cold world beautiful? ❜ ❛ you told me all doors are open to the believer. ❜ ❛ i believe her. ❜ ❛ how's that working out for you, honey? do you feel loved? ❜ ❛ i drink too much coffee and i think of you often. ❜ ❛ are you afraid? 'cause i'm terrified. ❜ ❛ you remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love. ❜ ❛ i believe in you and in our hearts we know the truth. ❜ ❛ i believe in love and the darker it gets, the more i do. ❜ ❛ it's just too much, i cannot get you close enough. ❜ ❛ a hundred arms, a hundred years, you can always find me here. ❜ ❛ lord, don't let me break this, let me hold it lightly. ❜ ❛ we have no need to fight. we raise our voices and let our hearts take flight. ❜ ❛ my held breath fills the room with love. ❜ ❛ it hurts in ways i can't describe. ❜ ❛ my heart bends and breaks so many, many times and is born again with each sunrise. ❜ ❛ we're sorry, we thought you didn't care. ❜ ❛ how does it feel now you've scratched that itch? ❜ ❛ hubris is a bitch. ❜ ❛ i feel nervous in a way that can't be named. ❜ ❛ we're a family pulled from a flood. ❜ ❛ it was so far to fall but it didn't hurt at all. ❜ ❛ i've always been in love with you. could you tell it from the moment that i met you? ❜ ❛ they told me that they loved me then ghosted me again. ❜ ❛ the older i get i find that happiness is an extremely uneventful subject. ❜ ❛ i must confess, i did it all for myself. ❜ ❛ the loneliness never left me. i always took it with me. ❜ ❛ the loneliness never left me. i always took it with me but i can put it down in the pleasure of your company. ❜ ❛ no chorus will come in. no ballad will be written. it will be entirely forgotten. ❜ ❛ and if tomorrow it's all over, at least we had it for a moment. ❜ ❛ things seem so unstable but for a moment we were able to be still. ❜ ❛ this will be entirely forgotten. ❜

Ethan and Gabriel Part 1
Tumblr media
Ethan had never believed in fate or destiny, but that all changed the day he met Gabriel. It was a crisp autumn afternoon in New York City, and Ethan was rushing to catch the subway after a long day at work. His job as a fitness trainer kept him on his feet all day, and the only thing he wanted was to get home, take a hot shower, and relax.
As he hurried down the stairs to the platform, he collided with someone coming up. Papers flew everywhere, and Ethan barely managed to keep his balance. He quickly turned to apologize, but his breath caught in his throat when he saw the man he had bumped into.
Gabriel, with his deep brown eyes and wavy black hair that framed his face in soft curls, was unlike anyone Ethan had ever seen. He had a natural handsomeness, an effortless charisma that drew people in. Tall and lean, with a build that hinted at strength beneath the surface, Gabriel was the picture of grace and confidence.
“I’m so sorry!” Ethan exclaimed, bending down to help gather the scattered papers.
“No, it’s my fault,” Gabriel replied, flashing a warm smile that made Ethan’s heart skip a beat. “I wasn’t paying attention.”
Their hands brushed as they both reached for the same paper, and Ethan felt a jolt of electricity. For a moment, the world seemed to slow down, and all Ethan could focus on was Gabriel’s eyes—so expressive and full of life.
They quickly gathered the rest of the papers, and as they stood up, Ethan couldn’t help but introduce himself. “I’m Ethan, by the way.”
“Gabriel,” the other man replied, holding out his hand. They shook hands, and Ethan couldn’t ignore the warmth and strength in Gabriel’s grip.
It was a brief encounter, just a few moments stolen from a busy day, but it was enough to plant the seeds of something special. As they parted ways, Ethan found himself hoping that this wouldn’t be the last time he saw Gabriel.
As luck would have it, Ethan and Gabriel’s paths crossed again just a few weeks later. This time, it was at a mutual friend’s party—a cozy gathering in a loft overlooking the city. When Ethan walked in and saw Gabriel across the room, his heart leaped in his chest.
Gabriel noticed him too, and they spent the evening talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. They discovered that they had much in common—both had moved to New York to pursue their careers, both loved staying active, and both had a deep appreciation for the arts.
As the night wore on, the connection between them grew stronger. There was an undeniable chemistry, a magnetic pull that neither could resist. By the time the party ended, Ethan knew that he wanted to see Gabriel again.
Their first official date was a week later. Ethan took Gabriel to a small, charming restaurant in Greenwich Village, where they shared a bottle of wine and talked late into the night. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and Ethan found himself captivated by Gabriel’s intelligence, wit, and passion for life.
They began seeing each other regularly after that, exploring the city together, sharing their dreams and fears, and slowly falling in love. Ethan loved the way Gabriel made him feel—alive, understood, and cherished. And Gabriel adored Ethan’s strength, kindness, and unwavering support.
After a year of dating, Ethan and Gabriel made the decision to move in together. It was a big step, but it felt right. They found a beautiful apartment in Brooklyn, with enough space for both of them to live comfortably. Their home quickly became a sanctuary, filled with warmth, love, and the joyful chaos of two people deeply in love.
Living together brought them even closer. They learned each other’s habits, quirks, and routines. They shared everything—cooking meals, late-night conversations, lazy Sunday mornings, and the occasional disagreement. But through it all, their love only grew stronger.
Ethan loved waking up every morning to Gabriel’s smile, and Gabriel couldn’t imagine a life without Ethan by his side. They were a perfect match, balancing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and supporting each other’s dreams.
The night their babies were conceived was one of those rare moments when everything felt perfect—almost as if the universe had aligned to bring them closer together. It had been a normal evening in their Brooklyn apartment. They had cooked dinner together, laughed over a silly movie, and shared a couple of glasses of wine. The night was cool, with the windows open, allowing the soft breeze to drift through their living room.
There was an unspoken connection between them that night, a deep bond that had been growing stronger with every day they spent together. As they moved from the couch to the bedroom, their usual playfulness turned into something deeper, something more intense. Ethan and Gabriel had always shared a strong physical connection, but tonight, it felt different—more profound, more passionate.
Ethan, with his powerful build, had always been drawn to Gabriel’s body. He admired Gabriel’s lean frame, his broad shoulders, and especially his full, round glutes. Gabriel’s body had a certain allure, a blend of grace and strength, but it was the fullness of his bubble butt that always left Ethan breathless. The way Gabriel’s hips flared, how his glutes were perfectly rounded and so pronounced, never failed to stir a deep desire in Ethan.
As Gabriel got on all fours, his back arched slightly, offering himself to Ethan, the sight was almost too much to bear. Gabriel’s bubble butt jiggled slightly with every movement, a tantalizing display that made Ethan’s heart race with an almost overwhelming need. The curve of Gabriel’s hips, the way his glutes filled out and moved with a soft, natural rhythm—it was as if they were made for this moment, for each other.
Ethan, who was well-equipped in every sense, felt a surge of emotion as he moved closer, his heart pounding with both love and desire. He knew that it would take time for Gabriel to take all of him inside, and he approached this moment with both care and passion. As he guided himself forward, he could feel Gabriel’s body adjusting, opening up to him, slowly at first, as he filled him deeply.
Gabriel could feel every inch of Ethan, the way his partner’s body fit perfectly with his own, pressing up inside him with a gentle but insistent pressure. His cheeks, round and firm, bounced softly against Ethan with each movement, a sensation that sent shivers through both of them. The fullness of his glutes created a rhythm that matched Ethan’s every thrust, their bodies moving together in a way that felt both natural and inevitable.
Ethan’s hands gently gripped Gabriel’s hips, guiding their movements as they became lost in the intensity of their connection. Gabriel felt Ethan’s strength and love in every touch, every whispered word. The passion between them was undeniable, and as they moved together, it felt like they were creating something beautiful—something that went beyond the physical.
The sensation of being filled so completely, the way their bodies seemed to be in perfect harmony, left Gabriel breathless. The pleasure was profound, but it was the emotional connection that made the experience so powerful. Every thrust, every movement, brought them closer, deepening the bond they already shared.
As the rhythm of their bodies intensified, the passion between them grew stronger, building to a crescendo that was both overwhelming and deeply fulfilling. It was as if they were pouring all their love, all their desire, into this moment, creating something that was both tender and powerful.
In those moments, the world outside their bedroom ceased to exist. It was just the two of them, together in a space filled with love, trust, and an unbreakable bond. As they moved together, the passion between them grew stronger, building to a crescendo that left them both breathless.
They didn’t know it at the time, but that night, they were planting the seeds of their future family. It was a night filled with love and connection, a night where their bond reached new heights. As they lay together afterward, their bodies entwined, both of them felt a deep sense of fulfillment—a feeling that they were truly made for each other.
Ethan whispered softly in Gabriel’s ear, “I love you more than anything in this world.”
Gabriel smiled, his eyes shining with love. “I love you too, Ethan. Forever.”

Authors note: Dear Anon, I don't know how to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I lost my very good friend and colleague three years ago to cancer. It was Covid time and nobody was even allowed to her in the hospital. It still haunts me. I don't know whether what I have written resonates with you, as it probably draws a lot on my own feelings. I hope it offers you at least a small bit of solace. Today another very special person left this world and made me want to post this short drabble today. I have included a small quote from my beloved Dumbledore, that I thought very fitting. I have marked it in bold.
Pairing: Sihtric x reader (female)

The moonlight streamed through the gap in the thick curtains, casting an ethereal glow upon the bed. The sheets rustled as Sihtric shifted, feeling the cold spot where you should be. This was not the first time he'd awakened to find the bed beside him empty.
Sitting up, he ran a hand through his unkempt hair. The faint, familiar scent of you still lingered in the air — a mixture of lavender and the distinct scent that was uniquely yours.
The air was cool, and the silence of the night seemed almost oppressive. Sihtric knew very well what was gnawing at you. He had pieced everything together already days ago, even if you hadn’t told him a single word about it. The messenger last week had brought bad news to several houses of the village. The sickness was spreading and  the roads were supposed to remain closed at the order of the King to prevent it from taking over the whole realm. For some it had already been too late. Your best friend, a beacon of joy and laughter in your life, had been taken by the sickness; Sihtric had found out by talking to the other villagers.
Sihtric understood your sorrow. What he didn’t understand was, why you hadn’t told him anything. You kept going as if nothing had happened. No, not really. It was as if you had turned into a whirling tempest, always moving, always busy. He hadn’t seen you sitting down or taking a moment for yourself the last few days. You had transformed into a whirlwind of activity, offering help to neighbors, taking on tasks and duties, and barely allowing yourself a moment of rest.
Sihtric had observed the change with growing concern, but what truly worried him were the nights. The countless times he'd awaken in the dark, the bed beside him cold, only to find you downstairs, occupied with some chore. The dark circles under your eyes were becoming more pronounced and your face paler with each passing day.
The last few nights had been restless also for Sihtric, the worry for you gnawing at him. Tonight was no different. The bed felt too vast, too empty, without your warmth beside him. He could hear you downstairs and the quiet sounds of you hurrying around only amplified his concern.
Making up his mind, he was about to swing his legs over the bed to search for you when a sharp, echoing crash cut through the silence. He froze for a split second, the sound immediately putting him on high alert.
Pushing off the blankets, he moved swiftly yet silently, following the direction of the noise - downstairs to the main room, where he found you. The shattered remnants of an ale mug lay around your feet. Amidst the shards, you knelt, looking both surprised and sheepish, your fingers gingerly picking up the larger fragments.
Sihtric rushed to your side, his hand gently touching your arm, as he knelt to help you. "Are you alright?" Sihtric's voice was full of concern.
You blinked, slowly lifting your gaze to meet his. The lost, pained expression in your eyes tore at his heart. "I didn't... I didn't see it," you murmured, your voice barely audible and in the next moment you nudged him away, lowering your gaze.
"Just go back to sleep. Let me do this," you whispered, continuing to collect the shards.
Sihtric took a moment, watching you, taken aback by your sudden reaction. "It's just a mug. It can be replaced," he said gently, trying to offer reassurance, knowing so well that this surely was not about the broken mug.
But you didn’t respond, focusing intently on the shards as if they held answers to unspoken questions.
Sihtric's gaze landed on your hand, and his heart skipped a beat. Blood oozed from a jagged gash, staining your fingers and dripping onto the shards you were holding. The cut on your hand bled profusely, but you seemed not to notice it as if detached from the pain and the world around you, concentrating solely on the shards on the floor.
Sihtric swiftly placed his hands on yours to stop you from picking up more pieces. "Your hand..."
You glanced down. "I didn't even notice," you murmured, wincing as the sting of the wound. “It’s nothing serious. Don’t worry.  I can handle that,” you withdrew your hands from his gentle grip.
With a sigh, Sihtric sat back, giving you the space you seemed to need. "Please, let me at least help with your hand. It's bleeding quite a bit."
You glanced at the gash, the reality of the injury sinking in, but still, you remained adamant. "I can manage," you replied, voice quivering slightly.
You continued your frantic gathering, and Sihtric watched you, his heart aching. Each movement you made seemed fueled by a rising panic, your breathing becoming more erratic, eyes glistening with unshed tears.
Before another moment passed, Sihtric grasped your hands again, halting your motions. The shards dropped from your grasp.
You tried to pull away, but Sihtric's grip remained steady as he pulled you up to your feet, trying to lead you away from the broken pieces. You avoided his gaze, focusing on the floor. "It's nothing, Sihtric," you mumbled, your voice shaky, "Just clumsy, that's all. I'll clean it up."
"Y/N," he whispered, voice thick with concern. His mismatched eyes, intense and searching, locked onto yours. "Talk to me. What's going on?"
You swallowed hard, willing the tears to stay at bay. "Everything’s fine," you insisted, trying to put a convincing smile onto your face. But it didn't reach your eyes, and your lower lip trembled ever so slightly.
Sihtric's brow furrowed as he watched you carefully. "Y/N," he began, his tone gentle yet persistent, "you're cleaning mugs in the dead of night. Mugs that were already clean. How can you say everything's fine?"
The tension in the room grew palpable. Sihtric sought to draw you closer, but you pushed back with equal force, a flare of anger igniting in your eyes.
"Sihtric, you don't get it!" you exclaimed, wrenching your hands again from his grasp. "I don’t want you to see me like this – broken, lost. I don't need your pity!"
He looked taken aback, his usual composed demeanor faltering for a moment. "Y/N, it's not a pity. It's a concern. It's love. I love you and I just want to be there for you."
"There's nothing you can help with," you replied tersely, taking a step back. "I need to handle this on my own."
Sihtric reached out, trying to bridge the gap, but you evaded him, the pain evident in your eyes. "Why can't you understand? Just let me be."
Ignoring your words, Sihtric slipped one arm beneath your knees and the other around your back. In one swift motion, he gently lifted you off the ground, carrying you over to the sturdy wooden table.
"Sihtric! Put me down!" you protested, your voice a mix of exasperation and surprise. You squirmed, trying to break free from his grasp, but he continued, undeterred by your struggles, his strength undeniable and the warmth of his body against yours unexpectedly comforting.
As he set you down, you shot him a look of surprise and indignation, but he met your gaze with unwavering determination.
"Hold still," he murmured, more to himself than to you.
You opened your mouth to protest, but the sight of your bloodied hand brought the reality of the situation crashing back. The adrenaline and the rush of emotions had made you momentarily oblivious to the pain and the seriousness of the cut.
Sihtric moved quickly, rummaging through the nearby cupboards to find a clean cloth. Fetching a bowl of water, he returned to your side, carefully soaking the rag. His touch was gentle as he dabbed at the wound, cleaning away the blood and inspecting the depth of the cut.
"Y/N," he began, his voice soft yet firm, "whether you like it or not, I'm not going to stand by and watch you get hurt, inside or out."
You looked up at him, your anger slowly melting away in the face of his resolute care. "Sihtric..."
He shook his head, cutting you off. "Later. We'll talk later. Right now, let me take care of this."
The two of you fell into a heavy silence, the only sound being the gentle lapping of water as Sihtric tenderly cleaned your cut, his hands firm yet gentle. Every now and then, his fingers brushed against your skin, sending a fleeting warmth through the chilled silence.
You could feel his gaze on you, not judging or pressing, but patiently waiting, giving you the space to process your emotions,  a silent invitation to share.
The moments stretched on, and the weight of the silence became heavier. Sihtric finished bandaging your hand, his fingers lingering for a moment longer than necessary and then he suddenly turned your hand over, pressing a kiss to your palm, a silent plea for understanding. The warmth of his lips contrasted sharply with the coolness of your skin.
With a final, gentle squeeze, he pulled away, still saying nothing.
—----------------------------------------------------
As Sihtric wrapped the clean bandage around your hand, his movements were methodical and gentle, but his mind was a storm. He had always been your rock, your steady anchor amidst life's tempests, and now he felt lost, unable to grasp the reason for the distance between you.
With each moment his thoughts grew more intense, spiraling with doubt and insecurity. Why won't she tell me? Have I done something? Failed her in some way?
He took a moment, glancing up at your face, searching for some sign, some clue that might help him understand the walls you'd built, either to protect yourself or him. Why doesn't she trust me anymore?
His heart ached with the weight of unspoken words. He'd always believed that your bond was unbreakable, founded on trust and mutual respect. This silence, this growing gap between you, drew him mad.
He was angry at himself for failing you, angry at you for shutting him out, but above all, there was a profound sense of helplessness. Does she still love me?
Sihtric knew he had to speak, to voice his concerns, but he couldn’t find the right words, leaving the two of you captured in a web of silence and unspoken emotions.
Every instinct in him screamed to pull you close, to envelop you in an embrace, to shield you from whatever demons were haunting you, but he also couldn't ignore your demand for distance. He was willing to give it to you, if that was what would help, even if it pained him.
Torn between wanting to be your protector and respecting the boundaries you'd set, he found himself thinking he would prefer hundred battles to this torment of not knowing how to help you.
His gaze settled on you once more, taking in the subtle signs of your pain — the faint tremor of your hands, the distant look in your eyes, the way you drew in on yourself. It was clear to him that your pain ran deep, and he simply yearned to soothe it.
Why won't you let me in? he almost voiced the question that was burning him from inside, feeling sadness and anger flaring within him.
Taking a deep breath, he made a choice. Slowly, with utmost care, he reached out, brushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear. The touch was feather-light, a silent question seeking permission.
His voice, when he finally spoke, was soft, almost a whisper, "I'm here for you, always. Whether you need space or a shoulder, just say the word. I'll always choose what's best for you."
—----------------------------------------------------
It was so simple. In his quiet strength and unwavering love, Sihtric had offered you a choice. There was nothing else as understanding and love in his gaze as his eyes met yours.
The ball was in your court. The question hung in the air, whether you would let him in or push him further away and continue to suffer in silence.
You could feel a lump forming in your throat, a weight pressing down on your chest, making it harder to breathe. Words danced on the tip of your tongue, desperate to be released, but every time you tried, they got caught in the whirlwind of emotion threatening to consume you.
"I can’t sleep. I just... I need to keep my hands busy," you finally admitted, voice barely above a whisper. "It helps... distract me, from the thoughts. It’s easier during the day, when I have a lot to do, but at night… There is no escape from them and from the dreams…. It feels like I'm drowning. Keeping busy, even with pointless tasks, keeps them at bay... if only for a little while.""
A tear slipped from your eye, rolling down your cheek, betraying the emotions you struggled to keep at bay. Without a word, Sihtric reached out, brushing it away with his thumb.
Taking a deep breath, he began, his voice soft and measured. "I heard about your friend," he began, choosing his words carefully.
Your eyes widened in surprise, not expecting him to know. Before you could react, he continued, "I know I can’t  fully understand the depth of your pain, the bond you shared, the memories. But that doesn't mean I can't stand by your side in your grief."
You blinked back tears, your emotions threatening to overwhelm you. Sihtric sighed, and cupped your face. "You don't have to pretend with me," he whispered, his thumb brushing gently over your cheek.  "You don't have to go through it alone. I'm here. Always. Let me in. Let me help."
You could hear the raw emotion in his voice and it made your heart ache even more, adding another layer of complexity to the storm of feelings inside.
But the wall you'd built around yourself was sturdy, a defense mechanism to protect not just yourself, but him as well. You believed that by bearing your pain alone, you were sparing him. But in reality, it was causing him just as much anguish, watching you suffer.
"I can't bear to see you like this,” Sihtric whispered. “Please, let me share your burden. Let me help carry the weight."
You blinked back tears, the truth of his words hitting hard. The pain of losing your friend, combined with the frustration and helplessness of not being able to be there at the sick bed, was a weight too heavy to bear alone.
"I wanted to be there, Sihtric. I wanted to say goodbye. I didn’t tell you, not because I didn’t trust you to understand what I’m going through. It was just too hard to admit that this had really happened, that there will be no shared laughs anymore, that I will never hear the familiar voice, that the last letters I wrote will never be read and there will be no answer to them. I thought…, I thought that as long as I don’t admit it, it can’t be real. It was so foolish of me," and as you spoke, you felt the world slowly crushing around you as tears welled up in your eyes and started to flow down your cheeks, your shoulders shuddering in unstoppable sobs.
“Why?” you cried. “We dreamed of so many things, and now it will never come true. It’s so unfair.”
Sihtric pulled you into a tight embrace, his arms strong and comforting around you. "I know it’s hard to accept," he whispered, his breath warm against your ear. "Do not pity the dead, my love, pity the living, and above all those who live without love. Your friend knew how much love there was in your heart, I’m certain of it by the way you speak. It's okay to be sad and to grieve," he said softly, his voice carrying a gentle strength. "You don't have to hide it from me or from anyone, even from yourself not. Everyone has moments of darkness, of pain, and it's okay to feel them, to let them wash over you."
"You don’t have to speak about it if you're not ready,” Sihtric continued. “ But please, don't push me away. Let me be with you, to hold you, to just keep silent with you."
His fingers slightly touched your chin, guiding your gaze to meet his and you felt the walls you'd constructed starting to crumble. Sihtric's sincerity, his unwavering love, made it hard to keep him at arm's length and you melted into his embrace, letting him hold you as you cried out your pain and despair.
"You need to rest," he said softly after a while, when you had finally calmed down a bit.
Without another word, he moved towards the fireplace and settled himself on the furs laid out before the comforting warm flames, pulling  you with him. He extended his hand towards you and waited.
Swallowing hard, you finally nodded. You took his hand and nestled between his strong thighs, your back resting against his broad chest. You could hear his steady heartbeat beneath the fabric of his tunic, a stark contrast to your own erratic one.
His arms encircled you, drawing you closer until nothing could pass between you. The world outside, with its pain, faded away, leaving just the two of you. Sihtric's fingers found their way to your hair, softly threading through the strands, his touch gentle and soothing. The rhythmic strokes, paired with the warmth of the fire and his embrace, slowly began to unravel your tension.
As the minutes turned into hours, you felt your eyelids grow heavy, sleep slowly overwhelming you.
Sihtric felt the change in you, the way your body relaxed as you succumbed to the fatigue. He pressed a gentle kiss to your head, a silent promise that he would stand guard, ensuring your sleep will  remain undisturbed.
And as the night deepened, with you safely curled up in his embrace, Sihtric remained, keeping you close to his chest and watching over you. The gentle rise and fall of your breathing was the only sound he needed, to know that all his doubts had been in vain, that you trusted him and that he had finally managed to break through the wall you had built around yourself. And as dawn began to break, painting the room in hues of gold and pink, he still held you close, afraid to move and break the fragile peace that had settled between you two.

hi, could I request a Levi x member of the special operation squad reader, where after coming back from the female Titan expedition to the Hq the reader breaks down in a panic attack? Like, she had always been a strong soldier, the type not to even cry at comrades’ deaths, but after she loses half of her original squad and especially Petra, who she was really close to, just can’t hold it in anymore? Thank youuu! 🧡🧡

Your heart was racing in your chest as tears stung your eyes. No matter how much you gulped and tried to catch your breath, it was impossible. It was almost instinct to clutch your chest in desperation, but you gained no relief. All you could think about was your team, your friends and your best friend Petra, who was a few years younger than you.
You had been ordered to stay behind with Levi and Erwin. Erwin needed two strong people to watch over the female titan. When everything went to shit and the titan ran, all you could think about was the friends and comrades you had left alone.
No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't get back in time. Levi had stopped you from seeing your friends, but it was impossible. You saw their bodies and it struck something inside you. You had seen a lot of blood and bodies before, but there was something different about seeing those you held dear.
The last straw for you was dumping the bodies of those you cared about in order to get away from Titans and Levi being hurt. You just wanted to be alone in a room with your thoughts. You wanted to scream and shout to the sky. You wanted to disappear.
You stumbled towards the scout base as you tried to control your breathing, but it was getting harder for you. You stumbled a little as your vision began to blur. You gripped the wall tightly as you clutched your chest. It was like there was a lump in your throat that was expanding with each second.
Levi wrapped his cape around you to shield you from view. "Erwin, we're both going to medical."
Erwin noticed the look in his friend's eyes. "Understood. Take care, okay?"
Levi noticed the softness in Erwin's eyes, it was a deep care and concern for you. "Yeah." He moved you along inside the base as you kept struggling to breathe. "I'm right here, all right? I'll take care of you. We're going to my office so you can get away from the cadets."
You looked over at Levi as tears streamed down your cheeks. "Thank you, but your leg."
"I've had worse. Besides, you are the most important thing to me."
You shook in his arms. "Levi."
He unlocked his office door and ushered you inside. He swiftly locked it behind him and led you to his bedroom in the back. "I'm going to take your things off, okay?"
You nodded and stood in his bedroom. This wasn't the first time Levi had undressed you in this room. The two of you had been a couple for a while. Your love was rather soothing and passionate. You cared for each other so deeply and you were each other's cure for life.
Levi took great care in undressing you and putting you into comfortable clothes. Not a word was said between you two because it wasn't needed. Just the care and kindness in Levi's touch was everything you needed.
You raised your head and watched Levi change into something comfortable. "Levi."
He smiled softly at you. "I know."
You shook on the spoke. "Mm" Tears filled your eyes. "They're all gone." You stumbled towards Levi. "They're all gone."
He caught you in his arms and held you. "I know. I...I..."
You clung to him. "I wish I could have saved them."
"Me too." He picked you up and sat you on his bed. He climbed on and pulled you against him and held you for a moment. His soft lips gently pressed against your forehead. "I love you."
"I love you too, Levi."
"I'm glad you are safe. I could never lose you. You are my life and soul."
You snuggled closer to him. "Mm. You're everything to me."
He looked down at you and smiled. He gently wiped the last of your tears away. "I'll be here with you for as long as you need me to be. I will never leave your side."
"Thank you." You sniffed a little. "How's your leg or ankle?"
He hummed. "Throbs."
"This resting with me will do you some good then."
He chuckled and pulled you close. "Yes." He massaged his fingers in your hair. "If you ever need to cry or scream or hit something, I am here."
You leaned up and pouted as you looked down at Levi. "I don't want to hit you."
He reached up and touched your cheek. "You're cute."
You leaned down and kissed him. "Thank you, Levi. I know we haven't talked deeply about what happened, but you just being here for me is all I needed. I just...being around you...you're so soothing. You relax me. You make me feel at ease."
"I was so closed off to others until I met you. You made me a better man. We'll get through this together. I swear."

my secret / lee heeseung
wc: 7k
It may not be all fans dream but it was certainly yours. to be noticed by your favorite idol, even if it only was the acknowledgement of your comment on their weverse lives or a reply on your post. Something so simple could have brighten up your day and mood. But you wanted to be remembered, not just seen. To make a long-lasting impression.
The first time you felt like the luckiest girl in the world when your best friend came into your room and showed you two tickets for enhypen's fan meet. You asked no questions but jumped out and went to hug her. The next following days were filled with anticipation and excitement, but then again it was like the days led on and went by so slowly.
The countdown on your calendar seemed to move at a snail's pace, each day dragging on as you and your best friend eagerly awaited the fan meet with ENHYPEN. You spent hours watching their music videos, practicing the fan chants, and discussing what you would say if you got the chance to talk to your bias. Your heart raced with excitement every time you thought about finally meeting them in person.
As the day of the fan meet drew nearer, your best friend surprised you with an envelope. Inside, there was a handwritten letter that read, "To my partner in ENHYPEN crime, I couldn't have asked for a better friend to share this adventure with. This is just a little something to make our day even more special." Inside the envelope, you found matching ENHYPEN-themed shirts, and your eyes welled up with tears of gratitude.
On the day of the fan meet, you and your best friend got ready together, helping each other choose the perfect outfits and doing each other's makeup. You couldn't believe how lucky you were to have a friend who understood your love for ENHYPEN so deeply. The excitement was palpable as you headed to the venue, clutching your tickets and wearing your matching shirts proudly.
Little did you know that this fan meet would be the beginning of an unforgettable journey filled with laughter, tears, and cherished memories.
You were seated two rows behind the main stage where the members were. The site in front of you was something you never thought you'd actually see and experience. you have gotten so used to see your favorite artist through a screen but now, they were in front of you. Slowly, your eyes land on your bias, lee heeseung.
As the music and their voices filled the venue, the vibrant stage lights illuminated heeseung's face, casting a surreal glow upon his features. He was every bit as mesmerizing as you had imagined, even more so in person. The energy and charisma he exuded were magnetic, drawing you deeper into the moment.
As Heeseung started to sing, his voice washed over the audience like a soothing wave, carrying with it the emotions and passion that had initially captured your heart. His every note seemed to resonate with your soul, and you couldn't help but be moved by the raw talent and dedication that had brought him to this stage.
Lost in the music and the enchantment of the moment, you found yourself swaying to the rhythm, your heart pounding in time with the music. It was as if the distance that had once separated you from your favorite artist had vanished, and for those fleeting moments, you felt a connection stronger than any screen could ever convey.
"Looks like your about to cry" min jee nudges you from the side. you both chuckle and you explain how surreal the feeling is, the feeling is mutual, and the conversation eventually ends as min jee squeals as she made eye contact with her bias.
After the small performance of their songs, the boys sit down to converse with their fans. You and Min Jee still feel excitement bubbling in your veins from the earlier exchange. Heeseung, who had noticed your emotional reaction earlier, spots you among the crowd and offers a warm smile.
As the Q&A session begins, fans eagerly raise their hands, and Heeseung points to you first, saying, "I saw you earlier during the performance. You seemed really moved. Would you like to share what touched you the most?"
Feeling a mixture of nervousness and gratitude, you stand up and take the microphone. "Well," you start, your voice trembling slightly, "it's just that… your music has always been a source of comfort for me. When I listen to your songs, it's like escaping into another world, a world filled with hope and happiness. Seeing you perform those songs live, it's like a dream come true."
Heeseung's eyes light up as he listens to your heartfelt words. "Thank you so much for sharing that," he replies sincerely. "We put a lot of love and dedication into our music, and it means the world to us to know that it touches you in such a profound way."
As the conversation continues, the members engage with fans on various topics, from their favorite memories to their future aspirations. You and Min Jee find yourselves caught up in the lively atmosphere, sharing laughter and stories with fellow fans.
And in the midst of it all, you can't help but notice the occasional glances from Heeseung, his smile never fading as he chats with the audience. The surreal feeling from earlier has transformed into a beautiful memory, one you'll carry with you forever as you continue to support and cherish the connection you share with ENHYPEN.
"The next portion of the fan meet came along, the one-on-one talk with each member. As you approached Heeseung, your heart raced with excitement. He greeted you with a warm smile, making you feel instantly at ease. The way he focused all his attention on you, as if you were the only person in the room, was both surprising and heartwarming.
You had prepared a list of questions in your mind, but as Heeseung looked into your eyes, all words seemed to escape you. Instead, you found yourselves engaged in a spontaneous and genuine conversation. Heeseung shared stories about his life, dreams, and the journey of ENHYPEN so far.
His humility and sincerity touched your heart deeply, and you couldn't help but admire him even more. Before you knew it, your allotted time was over, but not without Heeseung promising to remember your face and your support, a promise that filled you with an indescribable joy.
As you moved on to speak with the other members, each interaction was just as magical and unforgettable as the last. Sunghoon's playfulness, Sunoo's infectious laughter, and Jake's thoughtful words all left a lasting impression.
The memories you had created during those precious moments were indeed treasures that would always bring a smile to your face, and you knew you would cherish them for a lifetime. Eventually and unfortunately, the event had come to an end. On the car ride home, you and Min jee had nothing but good things to say, already reminiscing on the fan meet you both just experienced.
"you girls are so smitten for those boys" your dad offered to pick you both up but what he didn't expect was you two in the backseat love crying over the members and the event. when you reached home, after washing up, changing into your pajamas. Min jee hands you your now signed album, you both scan the newly signed album with the messages each member wrote.
Laughing, you looked at Min jee with tear-streaked cheeks, your voices still trembling with excitement. "I can't believe we actually met them," you admitted, holding the album close to your heart. "And they were so sweet!"
Min jee nodded vigorously, "I know, right? Sunghoon even gave me his signature heart!" She pointed to a heart-shaped doodle next to his autograph, making you giggle.
As you both continued to flip through the album, you couldn't help but relive the moments you had shared with ENHYPEN. Each message from the members felt like a cherished treasure, a reminder of the special bond you had formed during the fan meet.
"Look what Jungwon wrote," you said, showing Min jee the message from Jungwon. 'He said he hopes we keep supporting them forever.'
Min jee smiled warmly. 'We will, won't we?'
You nodded enthusiastically. 'Absolutely. We're their fans for life.'
Continuing, y/n spots numbers written on Heeseung's page, she stops and looks at the numbers that happen to be a phone number, written by side it "keep this a secret, yeah? text me whenever". eyes widen and followed by a scream by Min jee, she begins to hold your shoulders and shakes you. "Omg, excuse me! Heeseung gave you his number!!"
Eyes still locked onto Heeseung's phone number, you felt your heart race with excitement and disbelief. His message was clear - he wanted you to reach out to him. It was a secret connection, just between you and Heeseung.
Min jee's second scream brought you back to reality, and her enthusiastic reaction mirrored the excitement bubbling up inside you. She shook you, and you couldn't help but giggle at her infectious enthusiasm.
"This is incredible! You have to text him right now!" Min jee exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with delight.
Your mind raced with a mix of emotions. Should you really text him?
Min jee seemed to read your thoughts and grinned mischievously. "Come on, y/n! You'll never know unless you try. Besides, it's a secret, right? So, even if it's just friendly, you won't embarrass yourself."
With a deep breath and a smile, you nodded, determined to seize the opportunity. "You're right. I'll send him a message tomorrow. But for now, let's keep this our little secret."
The two of you shared a knowing look, sealing your pact of secrecy with a mischievous grin. The excitement of the day, combined with the secret connection you now shared with Heeseung, made it difficult to sleep that night. Little did you know that this phone number would be the start of an unexpected and incredible journey that would bring you even closer to your favorite ENHYPEN member.
As the morning sun filtered through your curtains, you tiptoed out of the bedroom, careful not to wake the still-sleeping Min jee. You couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness about texting Heeseung.
In the kitchen, you decided to whip up a special breakfast to share with your family and Min jee. You prepared pancakes with a side of fresh fruit and brewed a pot of coffee. The aroma of breakfast soon filled the air, and you couldn't help but feel proud of your cooking skills.
Meanwhile, an hour away, Heeseung stirred in his sleep. He had fallen asleep with his phone clutched in his hand, eagerly waiting for your text. His heart raced as he dreamt of the possibility of hearing from you, and when he woke up and realized no message had arrived, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment.
Heeseung rubbed his eyes, setting his phone aside for a moment. He decided to get up and start his day, not wanting to dwell on the anticipation. Little did he know that the message he had been waiting for would soon make its way to his phone, bringing a bright smile to his face.
Back at your place, the delicious smell of breakfast soon roused Min jee from her slumber. She wandered into the kitchen, her eyes still half-closed, and a sleepy smile tugging at her lips. "What's that amazing smell?" she mumbled.
You turned to her with a grin, holding up a plate of pancakes. "Breakfast is ready, Min jee! But first, let's have some coffee, and then I have something exciting to tell you."
Min jee's curiosity piqued, and she eagerly accepted the coffee you poured for her. As you both sat down to enjoy the meal, you couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and excitement for the day ahead.
"so, i sent him a message, just a simple good morning" your bestfriend almost spits out her coffee.
As you nonchalantly mentioned sending Heeseung a message, Min jee's reaction was anything but subtle. She nearly choked on her coffee, her eyes widening in shock as she tried to process what you had just said.
"What?! You sent him a message?!" Min jee exclaimed, her voice a mixture of excitement and disbelief. "Just like that? A 'good morning'? Are you serious?"
You couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction. "Yes, Min jee, I did! I mean, he did give me his number, and it's a secret, right?"
Min jee recovered from her coffee mishap and leaned in eagerly. "What did he say? Did he reply?"
You checked your phone, but there was still no response from Heeseung. "Not yet. Maybe he's still sleeping or busy with something. It's okay; I'm not expecting an immediate reply."
Min jee sighed dramatically, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I can't believe this is happening! You have Heeseung's number, and you sent him a message! What if he replies with something super sweet?"
You blushed at the thought, but you tried to keep your expectations in check. "Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll see what happens. For now, let's finish our breakfast and enjoy our day. Who knows what surprises are in store for us?"
With that, you both continued to savor your breakfast, the anticipation of Heeseung's reply adding an extra layer of excitement to your already memorable weekend.
As the day progressed, you and Min jee went about your errands, trying to keep busy to distract yourselves from the anticipation of Heeseung's reply. You two shopped, enjoyed a leisurely lunch, and even visited a nearby park to relax and take in the beautiful weather.
Meanwhile, Heeseung's schedule was jam-packed with idol duties, from interviews to rehearsals and meetings. He hadn't had a chance to check his phone, which lay forgotten in his dressing room.
It wasn't until late in the afternoon that Heeseung finally had a moment to himself. He picked up his phone and noticed a notification indicating a new message. His heart skipped a beat as he saw your name on the screen. He quickly opened the message and read your simple "good morning., it's y/n for the fan meet yesterday"
A warm smile spread across Heeseung's face as he composed a reply: "Good afternoon! Sorry for the late reply. How's your day going?" He hit send and waited anxiously for your response.
Back at your place, you felt your phone buzz with a notification. Your heart raced as you saw Heeseung's name on the screen. Min jee, who was sitting beside you, leaned in eagerly to see your reaction.
You read Heeseung's message and couldn't help but smile. "He replied!" you exclaimed, showing Min jee the message.
She squealed with excitement and leaned closer to read it. "What are you waiting for? Reply, reply!"
With Min jee's encouragement, you quickly typed out a response, sharing details about your day and how much you enjoyed the fan meet. As you sent the message, you couldn't help but wonder what this unexpected connection with Heeseung might lead to.
"Gosh, you're so lucky, why didn't sunghoon give me his number" min jee laughs as she looks at the smile you hold as you text heeseung
You chuckled at Min jee's playful jealousy. "Well, Min jee, maybe next time we'll both get lucky, and Sunghoon will give you his number!" you teased, a mischievous glint in your eyes.
Min jee grinned and shook her head. "I can only hope! But seriously, this is amazing. I'm so happy for you, y/n. Who would've thought that a simple fan meet could lead to this?"
You nodded, your smile reflecting your own amazement. "I know, right? Life is full of surprises. And the best part is, it's just the beginning."
With that, you resumed your texting conversation with Heeseung, and the excitement of your newfound connection with the ENHYPEN member filled the room.
As the days turned into weeks, and those weeks into months, your online friendship with Heeseung continued to flourish in secret. You found yourselves texting, calling, and video chatting regularly, sharing details about your lives, dreams, and everything in between. Your connection deepened, and you both cherished the bond you had built.
However, the reality of your respective lives and responsibilities remained a significant barrier to meeting in person. Heeseung's demanding schedule as an idol and your own commitments made it challenging to find a suitable time and place to meet. The fear of getting caught, the potential impact on Heeseung's career, and the invasion of your privacy by fans added to the complexity of your situation.
Despite these challenges, your friendship remained strong. You found solace in knowing that you had someone to confide in, someone who truly understood you. Your secret connection became a source of joy and support for both of you.
You often wondered what the future held for your friendship, whether you'd ever find the right moment to meet in person and openly share your connection with the world. But for now, you both treasured the special bond you had, a secret friendship that continued to grow stronger with each passing day.
"How's you and Loverboy?" Your best friend hands you your snack and sits by you. "Loverboy? we are just friends" Min jee looks at you disappointed and crosses her arms "just friends? y/n you are fumbling the bag" she jokes. "Will my ship ever start sailing?" she continues to tease you.
You couldn't help but chuckle at Min jee's teasing. You took the snack she handed you and shrugged playfully. "Min jee, you and your ship fantasies. We're genuinely just friends, I promise."
She pouted in mock disappointment, giving you an exaggerated sigh. "Well, fine, but I'm still holding out hope for that ship to set sail someday."
As you chatted with Min jee, little did you know that Heeseung's fellow ENHYPEN members had also noticed a significant change in their oldest hyung. During a break from their busy schedule, Sunghoon couldn't help but comment, "Heeseung, you've been in a great mood lately. Anything special going on?"
Heeseung tried to hide his smile but failed miserably. "Oh, just some good conversations with a friend," he replied casually, not wanting to give away too much.
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "A friend, huh? Is there something you're not telling us, Heeseung?"
The other members joined in, exchanging knowing glances and teasing smiles. They had become experts at reading each other over time, and Heeseung's change in behavior had not gone unnoticed.
Heeseung chuckled, realizing that he couldn't keep it a secret from his bandmates much longer. "Okay, okay, maybe there's someone I've been talking to."
The ENHYPEN members erupted in excitement, bombarding Heeseung with questions and playful teasing. He couldn't help but laugh at their enthusiasm, all the while wondering if someday, he would introduce you to his bandmates, officially blending his two worlds together.
"Is y/n the one that came with that pretty friend? what was her name...Min jee?" Sunghoon starts thinking deeply. "I should've gaven her my number as well" Sunghoon whines. "wow, you both found someone within ENGENEs at the fanmeet" Jay says.
Heeseung couldn't help but chuckle at Sunghoon's lament. "Well, you can always ask her for her number next time," he suggested with a teasing grin.
Sunghoon sighed dramatically, leaning back in his chair. "I guess you're right. Missed opportunities, man."
Meanwhile, Jay added his own perspective. "It's pretty cool, though, that you both found someone within ENGENEs at the fan meet. Who would've thought?"
Heeseung nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's been quite an unexpected journey."
The conversation continued, with the ENHYPEN members sharing their own experiences and stories from fan meets and interactions with fans. As they reminisced and talked about the unique connections they had formed with their supporters, Heeseung couldn't help but think about the special bond he had with you, a connection that had grown beyond the typical idol-fan relationship and had become something truly meaningful in his life.
When you thought the moment would never come again, you met heeseung once again just by a coincidence. You and min jee were roaming the street of Seoul and spontaneously took it upon yourselves to go to an amusement park. It was a weekday, so there wasn't as much people as the weekends would have.
As you walked around the park, Min jee's eyes landed on cameras and staff. Heart stopping, Min jee pulls you to the side and whispers in your ear. Your own eyes then travel to find the site she mentions, then it hits you. it's heeseung, ni-ki, jake, and sunghoon filming something at the amusement park.
You and Min jee exchanged wide-eyed glances, barely able to contain your excitement and nervousness. It felt like fate had intervened once again, bringing you face to face with Heeseung and the ENHYPEN members in the most unexpected way.
"Do you think it's for an EN o' clock episode?" Min jee whispered, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
You hesitated for a moment, your heart pounding in your chest. The fear of causing a scene or disrupting their work crossed your mind. "or a En Log" you whispered back.
With cautious steps, you and Min jee made your way farther to where the ENHYPEN members were filming. You couldn't help but smile as you watched them work, appreciating their dedication to their craft. As you stopped watching from a far, you and Min jee failed to notice that certain eyes had finally landed on you. Unbeknownst to you, Heeseung had a sudden urge to look around and see if anyone familiar was in the vicinity. As his gaze swept the area, his eyes widened in surprise when he locked eyes with you.
Time seemed to stand still as Heeseung's gaze met yours. For a moment, he couldn't believe his eyes. It felt like a scene from a romantic movie, the world fading away as you and Heeseung locked eyes in the middle of the bustling amusement park.
A warm smile crept across Heeseung's face, and he subtly nodded in your direction, acknowledging your presence without drawing too much attention. It was a silent but meaningful greeting, a secret shared between the two of you.
Min jee noticed the exchange and nudged you excitedly. "Y/n, he's looking at you! Heeseung is looking at you!"
You turned to Min jee with wide eyes, heart pounding even faster. It was a moment you had never expected to happen again, a chance encounter that felt like destiny was at play once more.
Seeing that you and Heeseung couldn't do much more than exchange smiles and subtle nods in a crowded public space, you turned to Min jee and suggested that you should head somewhere else. However, it appeared that your best friend was equally captivated by the attention of Sunghoon, who had also taken notice of her.
You chuckled at the sight of Min jee being distracted by Sunghoon, realizing that fate had its own plans for your friend. With a knowing look, you decided to let her have her moment and turned your attention back to Heeseung.
Heeseung was now laughing at something Sunghoon had said, and the camaraderie between the ENHYPEN members was heartwarming to witness. Despite the distance and the limitations of the situation, it felt like a small, beautiful moment that you shared with Heeseung.
As the day continued at the amusement park, you and Min jee enjoyed the excitement of the rides and attractions, all while stealing glances at the ENHYPEN members whenever you could. It was a day filled with unexpected encounters, secret smiles, and the joy of being in the presence of your favorite K-pop idols.
As you and Min jee chatted and enjoyed your time on the viking ride, you remained blissfully unaware of the surprise waiting behind you. The ride was half-filled with other people, creating a lively atmosphere as the ride swung back and forth.
Little did you know that Heeseung, Ni-ki, Jake, and Sunghoon had purposely chosen to sit behind you both. They exchanged excited glances, their plan to surprise you and Min jee carefully orchestrated.
As the ride began its swinging motion, you and Min jee laughed and held onto your seats, completely engrossed in the experience. You could feel the wind in your hair and the adrenaline rush as the ride reached its peak and then swung back down.
Meanwhile, Heeseung and the others watched your reactions with eager anticipation. They couldn't wait to see your surprise when they revealed themselves. It was a daring move, but they couldn't resist the chance to make your day even more memorable.
As the viking ride came to an end and the safety bar released, Sunghoon couldn't help but voice his complaint. "Ni-ki, why did you drag me into this?" he exclaimed, causing Min jee to turn around in shock.
Min jee's eyes widened as she realized who was behind her, and a surprised but delighted smile graced her face. "Oh, hi," Sunghoon greeted her shyly, offering a polite bow.
You couldn't help but chuckle at the playful exchange between Sunghoon and Ni-ki. Turning around, you greeted the other three members who had sat behind you, your cheeks slightly flushed with shyness.
"Hey, it's nice to see you all again," you said, trying to maintain your composure.
Heeseung, too, had a faint blush on his cheeks as he met your gaze. "Yeah, it's been a while," he replied, his smile warm and friendly.
The unexpected reunion in a public setting made your hearts race, but it also filled you with joy.
As the day continued, you found yourselves in a more private area with Min jee and the four ENHYPEN members. It was a situation you hadn't anticipated when you set out for the amusement park, and yet, here you were, sharing a more intimate moment with your favorite K-pop idols.
The setting allowed for more relaxed and personal conversations. You and Min jee exchanged stories and laughter with Heeseung, Ni-ki, Jake, and Sunghoon. It was as if you were all old friends catching up, despite the initial shyness that had marked your encounter.
Heeseung, in particular, seemed genuinely happy to see you again and was eager to hear about your experiences since the fan meet. He asked about your favorite ENHYPEN songs and moments, and you shared your thoughts and feelings with enthusiasm.
Min jee, too, was having a lively conversation with Sunghoon, who had a knack for making her laugh. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of camaraderie and warmth that you had never expected to experience in such a private setting.
As the day drew to a close, you couldn't help but reflect on the unexpected turns of fate that had brought you here. Meeting Heeseung and the others again, in a more private and personal context, was a memory you would treasure forever.
Min jee's curiosity got the best of her, and she couldn't help but ask Heeseung and the others about what they were filming for and why only four of them were present.
Heeseung smiled warmly, appreciating her interest. "It's actually a special project we're working on, but we can't reveal all the details just yet," he explained. "And as for the four of us, sometimes we split up for various activities to keep things interesting."
Ni-ki nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's a surprise for our fans, so we have to be a little secretive."
Jake chimed in, adding, "But we're glad you asked! We're always excited to share our work with ENGENEs."
Sunghoon couldn't resist teasing Min jee a bit, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Don't worry, it's not a top-secret mission or anything. We just like to keep things mysterious."
Min jee blushed at Sunghoon's playful teasing but couldn't help but smile. "Well, I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us."
Heeseung couldn't resist the opportunity to tease Sunghoon further. With a mischievous grin, he turned to Sunghoon and said, "Speaking of secrets, I remember someone here wanted to get Min jee's number earlier."
Sunghoon's eyes widened in surprise, and he sputtered, "Wha—Heeseung, why are you bringing that up?"
The other members laughed, thoroughly enjoying the playful banter. Heeseung continued to tease Sunghoon, "Come on, Sunghoon, don't be shy. You thought Min jee was interesting enough to want her number, right?"
Min jee's face turned a bright shade of red as she tried to hide her embarrassment, while you couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing turn of events.
Sunghoon, in his good-natured way, finally relented, "Okay, fine, maybe I was curious, but it was just friendly curiosity, I swear!"
The teasing continued, creating a lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere among all of you.
As the day began to wind down, responsibilities and schedules started calling for both you and the ENHYPEN members. It was time to say goodbye.
Heeseung, with a warm and reassuring smile, stepped forward and said, "I know we have to go, but this won't be the last time we meet, I promise. We'll have more chances to spend time together."
His words filled you with hope and happiness, and you nodded in agreement. "I'll be looking forward to that, Heeseung."
Min jee chimed in, her heart full of gratitude and excitement. "Thank you all for making this day so memorable. We'll be cheering for you, as always."
With heartfelt goodbyes and promises to meet again, you and Min jee watched as Heeseung, Ni-ki, Jake, and Sunghoon headed off to their next destination. As you left the amusement park, you couldn't help but reflect on the incredible day you had shared with your favorite idols and the newfound certainty that your paths would cross once more in the future.
The months continued to pass, and your beautiful secret friendship with Heeseung and the ENHYPEN members only grew stronger. You cherished the moments you spent talking, sharing stories, and getting to know each other on a deeper level. It was a unique and cherished connection that you considered yourself incredibly fortunate to have.
Your friendship with Heeseung had become a cornerstone of your life, a bond that brought you happiness and comfort. The more you got to know him, the more you realized how wonderful he was, both as an idol and as a person.
Meanwhile, it seemed that Min jee and Sunghoon's connection had evolved into something more than just friendship. Their budding romance brought a new layer of excitement and happiness to your circle. You couldn't help but smile at the sweet moments they shared and how their feelings for each other had blossomed.
Heeseung's feelings for you had deepened over time, evolving from a mere crush into something more profound. He had been planning to confess his feelings for a while now, and the moment had finally arrived. However, his fellow ENHYPEN members were quick to notice his distraction and teasingly referred to him as "lover boy."
As Heeseung stepped into the recording booth, Jay couldn't resist the opportunity to tease him. "Okay, lover boy, stop texting y/n and record your part," Jay quipped, earning a round of laughter from the other members.
Heeseung playfully rolled his eyes and replied, "Why don't you tease Sunghoon as well? He's the one who wanted Min jee's number."
The members continued to laugh, but they also shared knowing glances. They could tell that Heeseung was genuinely smitten, and his confession had been a long time coming. They respected his feelings and knew that, ultimately, it was a beautiful part of his life.
As Heeseung put on his headphones and began recording, he couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement about what lay ahead. The possibility of sharing his true feelings with you filled him with hope and anticipation, and he hoped that, just maybe, you felt the same way.
Receiving Heeseung's text around 5 PM, your heart raced as you read his message. The anticipation of what he had to say filled you with excitement and a touch of nervousness. Heeseung's words conveyed urgency, and you couldn't help but wonder what was so important.
You quickly replied, agreeing to meet him at the location he mentioned. As you got ready and headed out, your thoughts were consumed by what Heeseung might want to discuss. The evening air was cool, and the city buzzed with life as you made your way to the designated meeting place, your heart pounding with anticipation.
Arriving at the private restaurant, you were greeted by a guard and a staff member who had been expecting your arrival. You exchanged polite greetings and engaged in some pleasant conversation as they led you to a private room within the restaurant.
As you entered the room, your heart skipped a beat when you saw Heeseung standing there, a bouquet of flowers in his hand. The warm and inviting ambiance of the room, coupled with Heeseung's presence, made the moment feel incredibly special.
A smile spread across your face as you approached him, your heart filled with a mixture of excitement and curiosity about what he had to tell you. The sight of Heeseung waiting with flowers added an extra layer of romance to the evening, and you couldn't wait to hear what he had in store.
Heeseung smiled warmly as he handed you the bouquet of flowers, the colorful blooms a vibrant contrast against the dimly lit room. He took a deep breath, his eyes locked onto yours, and he began to speak with a sincerity that melted your heart.
"Y/n," he began, his voice filled with a mixture of nervousness and determination, "the reason I asked you to meet me here tonight is because there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time, something that's been on my mind ever since we first met at that fan meet."
Heeseung paused for a moment, searching for the right words. "I've come to realize that my feelings for you go beyond friendship. Y/n, I care about you deeply, and I can't help but have these strong feelings for you."
His confession hung in the air, and Heeseung's gaze never left yours. He had bared his heart and soul to you, revealing the depth of his emotions. Now, all that remained was your response to his heartfelt confession.
You didn't want to keep him waiting longer, so you responded in a way that left you in shock as your own body took over. You leaned over and kissed him on the cheek before replying "I like you too Heeseung"
The room seemed to hold its breath for a moment as you leaned in and pressed a gentle, affectionate kiss on Heeseung's cheek. It was a gesture that conveyed your feelings more than words ever could, and it left him pleasantly surprised.
A warm, radiant smile lit up Heeseung's face as he heard your words. "I'm so glad to hear that, Y/n," he replied, his voice filled with happiness. "I've been wanting to hear those words for a long time."
The atmosphere in the room shifted, and the connection between you and Heeseung felt even more special. It was a moment of shared feelings, unspoken emotions, and the promise of a new chapter in your relationship. The beautiful secret you had shared was now a beautiful reality, and you couldn't wait to see where this journey would lead you both.
Around 9pm the date had ti end and now you were heading home. The ride home was nothing but solace and peace. You admired the city lights and the ngiht sky through the window, not noticing Heeseung admiring you. With a smile on his face and a camera in his hand. Documenting the start of something new.
As the car pulled up in front of your home, the warm and romantic date came to an end, and you found yourself in Heeseung's company car.
"Okay, lovers, time to say goodbye for now," the manager joked, earning a laugh from both you and Heeseung. His manager, with a playful grin, decided to give you both some privacy and stepped out of the car.
You turned to Heeseung, and there was a comfortable silence for a moment as you cherished the memory of the evening. Heeseung reached out and gently held your hand, his eyes filled with affection and gratitude.
"Thank you for being here with me tonight," he said softly. "I can't wait to see where this journey takes us."
With that, you exchanged a sweet, lingering goodnight kiss, and Heeseung watched as you entered your home, the promise of a new chapter in your relationship filling your heart with joy and anticipation.
The following month reminded you that this was not all sunshine and rainbows, yes you were very content and happy with what you and heeseung had but now you had more worry about getting caught since you have been meeting up more.
Sharing your concerns about the increasing risk of getting caught with Min Jee was a relief. It felt good to confide in your best friend, especially since she was experiencing a similar situation with Sunghoon. As you sat together, you both found comfort in knowing you weren't alone in facing the challenges of your secret relationships with the ENHYPEN members.
Min Jee nodded sympathetically as you voiced your worries. "I know what you mean, y/n. It's tough to balance our feelings and the need for privacy, especially when we want to support them and enjoy our time together."
She continued, "But remember, we've been managing it well so far. And Heeseung and Sunghoon, they're both understanding and careful about it too. We just have to be cautious and trust that things will work out."
You felt reassured by Min Jee's words, and the bond between you and your best friend grew stronger as you navigated the challenges of your secret relationships with the ENHYPEN members together.
You both shared a laugh, finding humor in the series of events that had led to your secret relationships with Heeseung and Sunghoon.
Min Jee playfully flipped her hair back and grinned. "I guess we must be incredibly good looking to catch their attention," she said with a playful wink. "But hey, it's not just about looks, it's about the connection we share with them."
You nodded in agreement, still amused by the twists and turns of fate that had brought you to this point. "Absolutely, it's the connection that matters the most. And it's been a beautiful journey so far."
You and Min Jee shifted your focus from romance to more pressing matters, like finishing your thesis paper. With determination, you handed Min Jee your laptop, and together, you dove back into your academic work.
As you worked side by side, tackling your research and writing, you couldn't help but appreciate the balance in your life. While your secret romance with Heeseung was a beautiful and cherished part of your journey, your academic goals and friendships were equally important. It was the blend of all these aspects that made your life rich and fulfilling, and you were determined to succeed in every aspect, both in love and in your studies.
You thought back and mentioned how Heeseung proved to be a loving and supportive boyfriend, and his presence in your life was a constant source of reassurance and comfort. He never let you bear the stress of the situation alone and was always there to uplift your spirits.
Whenever you felt overwhelmed by the pressure and expectations of keeping your relationship a secret, Heeseung would be the calm in the storm. He would hold your hand, look into your eyes, and tell you, "We'll get through this together, Y/n. Our love is worth it, and I'm here for you every step of the way."
His words and actions were a reminder that your relationship was built on trust, understanding, and unwavering support. Heeseung's love gave you the strength to face the challenges and uncertainties of your unique situation, and you cherished every moment you spent together, no matter how secret or hidden it had to be.
the end~
(extra: Underneath a starry night sky, you found yourselves on a quiet rooftop. Heeseung had planned a surprise for you, a romantic evening that would create unforgettable memories.
As you both stood there, the soft glow of city lights surrounding you, Heeseung took your hand in his, his fingers gently interlacing with yours. He pulled you closer, and you felt the warmth of his touch as he wrapped his arms around you, enveloping you in a tender embrace.
"Y/n," he whispered, his voice soft and filled with love, "being with you is like finding my own little piece of paradise. I cherish every moment we spend together, and I can't imagine my life without you."
Your heart swelled with emotion as you looked up into Heeseung's eyes, the moonlight reflecting in them like a sea of stars. "Heeseung," you replied, your voice filled with affection, "you are my light in the darkness, my anchor in the storm. I'm so grateful to have you in my life."
As the night breeze rustled your hair and the world seemed to fade away, Heeseung leaned in, his lips gently meeting yours in a sweet, lingering kiss. It was a kiss filled with all the love and tenderness you both felt for each other, a moment of pure connection beneath the starry sky.
In that moment, you both knew that no matter the challenges or secrets that life may bring, your love would always shine brightly, just like the stars above, guiding your hearts together.)

Could we see Geralt trying to work up the nerve to confess his feelings to Jaskier? 👀
Oooh I've been looking forward to writing something like this! 😁
Warnings: none
**
Witcher hearts were supposed to beat slower, everyone knew that. Yet, Geralt's own pounded so hard, it felt like it was going to burst out of his chest any minute.
He looked into the mirror with a sigh. His reflection, flushed and with barely masked panic in his eyes, stared back at him. Geralt believed that if his brothers would have seen him now, they would've had a field day making fun of him. After all, why was the big White Wolf of the Continent so flustered, acting like a blushing maiden?
Jaskier has been his companion, his friend for long years now. There was no reason to feel so nervous around him. They bathed each other, patched up each other's wounds and often slept in the same bedroll. They knew each other well, and could trust each other.
Except, somewhere along the way, Geralt has fallen in love with him. Or, maybe he has always been in love, just needed some (very long) time to accept and admit it. He would have probably kept it to himself, if it weren't for that unfortunate hunt that's happened a couple days prior, where a monster has attacked Jaskier. He was fine, luckily, but it could have been much worse. Geralt only then realized just how close he has gotten to losing him, and how life really was short, especially for a human. He couldn't waste any more time lying to himself and Jaskier. He needed to tell him how he felt.
That was how he has ended up practicing his speech in front of his mirror, making a complete fool out of himself.
"Jaskier, you're... you're the best thing that has ever happened to me...?"
No, that was too much.
"You make me happy?"
A little better.
"I can't live without you, you're beautiful and sweet...?"
Once again too much. Gods above, Geralt really didn't know how to do this. And if he already felt so anxious just imagining confessing to Jaskier, what was he going to do once he actually stood in front of him?
He rubbed at his temples with a groan. This was not working. Jaskier always told him to stop overthinking things. Maybe he should just wing it.
*
Jaskier was worried that Geralt was either cursed, drunk on some special witcher liquor, or having a stroke. His witcher stood in front of him, shoulders slumping, shifting his weight from one leg to the other. He opened his mouth over and over, but no word came out.
"Geralt," Jaskier said cautiously, "is everything okay? Should we get Yennefer?"
"Jaskier, I have to tell you something," Geralt squeezed out from between gritted teeth. Jaskier bit his lip, trying to stop himself from imagining the worst scenarios. "You're... I am... shit."
"It's okay, take your time," Jaskier told him softly, laying a gentle hand on Geralt's arm. Geralt swallowed audibly.
"Jaskier, you're happy and I can't live without the best thing, you make me beautiful. Erm... no. Shit."
Jaskier blinked rapidly. What in Melitele's name was happening?
"Geralt, what was... something is clearly wrong. I'm gonna get Yennefer, you're speaking nonsense."
"No, I wanna..." Geralt groaned. He looked so desperate, that Jaskier decided not to run for help just yet. He waited instead, wondering if Geralt would start speaking elder next.
What happened instead, was Geralt suddenly cupping his cheeks and kissing him so deeply that all the air was knocked out of his lungs. Jaskier stumbled for a moment, before he steadied himself by grabbing onto Geralt's broad shoulders.
"Is this a dream?" Jaskier whispered when Geralt pulled away. Only now did he notice the flush on Geralt's cheeks.
"I wanted to tell you, but I couldn't," Geralt said quietly. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Jaskier smiled. His heart swelled inside his chest, and for a second he thought it would burst. He reached up to caress Geralt's cheek, making him lean into his touch.
"I think I understood what you wanted to say perfectly."
With that, he pulled Geralt down into another kiss.

Imagine drifting away into Middle Earth with dragon eggs
Tumblr media
(This was kinda inspired in my discussion with the three wild dragons. I began to think how would Dany’s three eggs end up in Middle Earth and this is what came to mind. A little note: I know little about the Hotd books and only seen the show, so this might not be totally accurate so please don’t attack me for the details. I hope you enjoy)
(Also, reader is a male in this)
Warnings: might have some spoiler alerts, angst, death, violence, poor Helaena who deserves better, violent sea, sea snakes, possible dead characters and near drowning.
--------------------------------------------------------
-You were one of the dragon keepers of the Dragonpit.
-Your father was a dragon keeper. He often took you there to see the magnificent mounts of the House Targaryen. You grew up adoring the dragons, and as time passed, you became a dragon keeper like your father.
-You understood them deeply and treated them as more than just animals or mounts used for war. You even grew a special bond with one of them, the beautiful blue dragon, Dreamfyre.
-She belonged to queen Helaena, but since you grew up together – Helaena did not mind you sharing a bond with her dragon. You two often spent time together with Dreamfyre.
-Helaena was kind and sweet, and you did not mind her fascination with bugs and the strange words she often said.
-You adored listening to her, and she equally liked listening to you when you talked about the dragons and the latest clutches of eggs.
-You could even say you were in love with her, but since she was already married to her vicious brother. You did not push your boundaries. Even though: it pained your heart to see her neglected and alone in such a loveless marriage.
-You were happy to be her friend and a confidant she could talk to when things in the court became too much to handle. You always tried to offer your best advice and comfort her when she needed a moment to cry.
-It made your heart break when the blood and cheese happened as you knew how much she loved her children.
-You had a chance to know them since Helaena sometimes brought them to see you and the dragons, so hearing how one of her sons got brutally murdered made you feel sorrow for her and her innocent boy.
-You wished to comfort her, but you were not allowed to see her because why would a dragon keeper want to see the queen. You had no business talking with her.
-So, you couldn't go and see her or check how she was handling the aftermath.
-You learned of her death when Dreamfyre suddenly broke out from her chains, screaming in fright and pain. You knew about the bond Targaryens shared with their dragons, so you knew something was wrong with Helaena.
-You rushed out of the Dragonpit to find her, but it was already too late.
-She had killed herself, and you couldn’t do anything but hold her dead body and cry for her and the god’s forgiveness.
-It was a day when the most innocent Targaryen died and the day when your heart shattered forever. And it was all because of her brother’s selfishness to have revenge over an old grudge.
-After Helaena’s funeral, you broke into tears in the shadows of the Dragonpit with no one but Dreamfyre to mourn alongside you.
-The wound in your heart never healed, and you watched as the greens and blacks fought each other for the iron throne, people and dragons dying from left and right.
-It was a bloody massacre.
-You felt resentment toward the royal family. The greens started the whole mess, but the blacks were no better as they used inhumane tactics to ensure their victories.
-You were glad it finally ended when queen Rhaenyra took control of King’s landing, and the greens were apprehended. Even though: you did not welcome them when they arrived.
-You took care of their dragons and had pleasantries meeting prince Joffrey, who was a stubborn-headed boy but equally loving toward dragons like you, so you found something positive about him.
-You found his presence annoying at first, especially when he knew little about dragons and their nature. You often stopped him from doing reckless things like mounting his dragon without a saddle or trying to feed the other dragons without proper safety measures.
-You tried teaching him how to interact with dragons, and he listened — most of the time.
-Other times, you walked him out of the Dragonpit and told him to come back when he had permission from his mother since he had a reckless habit of secretly coming to the pit. You are confident he sometimes comes just to bother you.
-The little boy infuriated you to the core, but over time you grew to care for him in a way.
-The little prince was lonely since his mother was still grieving the loss of his two brothers and didn’t allow him often to do anything. He would come to you since you listened to him more than anyone.
-It made you feel sad because he reminded you of Helaena.
-When Joffrey told you about a person named Shepherd, you became concerned about the news and rumors that spread across the city. The whispers about how dragons are the spawns of the devil.
-It left you anxious since queen Rhaenyra brushed off the rumors despite evident signs of unrest among the people.
-Before the storming of the Dragonpit, you were doing the simple round, checking on the dragons and Dreamfyre’s latest clutch of eggs.
-She was protective of them, barely allowing anyone but you to check on them. It made your heart feel warmth that she only trusted you with her eggs and sadness since it made you think how Helaena would have loved seeing her dragon’s newborn eggs.
-You were startled when you saw the queen’s dragon, Syrax, missing from her den.
-You were even more terrified when you learned she was outside and Joffrey was riding her.
-You knew dragons would throw off anyone who was not their rider. As you couldn't ride a dragon, the only plan you could think of was to release Joffrey's dragon, Tyraxes, and tell him to save Joffrey.
-Tyraxes quickly acted when he saw Joffrey fall from Syrax’s back, and you held your breath as you watched the situation unfold, fearing for Joffrey’s life.
-Joffrey was near hitting the pointy roofs of the castle, but Tyraxes managed to catch him just in time – carefully gliding back to you as Joffrey was hanging from his dragon’s claws.
-You caught Joffrey when Tyraxes dropped him to you.
-You checked if he was alright before giving him the biggest scolding of his life. You were mad that he would secretly come to the pit and try to ride someone else’s dragon, putting his life in grave danger.
-You made sure he knew what would have happened if Tyraxes didn’t catch him in time.
-Joffrey apologized, then explained he was worried about the dragons and wanted to prove he could be brave like his brothers. He wanted to prove to his mother that he was not a helpless child.
-You felt pity and hugged him, telling him you were glad he was alright and explained that his death would only cause more pain to his mother, and he took your words for it.
-You ordered Tyraxed to return into the pit, then tried to walk Joffrey back to the castle, but then Shepherd and his savage flock of people arrived, separating you from the guards and leaving you defenseless.
-You pushed Joffrey behind you, covering him from the violent mob who sought to cause harm to you and the dragons.
-You managed to escape by going to the Dragonpit and blocking the door. You were taking the rounds by yourself, so you and Joffrey were all alone with an angry mob banging on the doors.
-Fearing for the lives of the dragons inside the pit, you told Joffrey to help you unchain them all.
-While Joffrey was helping you, you yelled in Valyrian at the dragons to warn them that they were in danger.
-You unchained Dreamfyre and told her she needed to leave, and to your surprise, she seemed to understand as she tried to comfort you from the fear and anxiety you felt during the moment.
-You took a bag and grabbed her eggs.
-You knew another way out of the Dragonpit, so you guided Joffrey and Tyraxes out of the pit with Dreamfyre.
-Unfortunately, some dragons did not heed your warnings and were left behind to face the mob when they broke through the doors.
-Your heart mourned for them, but you hoped they would survive the ordeal since they were not chained. They had a fighting chance.
-When you found your way out of the Dragonpit. Dreamfyre and Tyraxes took flight as you escaped with Joffrey on foot.
-You navigated through the path into the city, where you both witnessed a violent battle between the mob and the queen’s guards.
-You tried to escape unnoticed, but soon some of the people in the mob came after you and Joffrey. They managed to surround you, calling you heathens and protectors of the flying devils.
-Joffrey cried and hugged you as they held weapons and came closer, ready to kill you in cold blood. You held onto Joffrey and Dreamfyre’s eggs as you feared this was the end for both of you.
-Tyraxes appeared to your rescue, sprouting fire upon the angry mob, and Dreamfyre landed right behind you, roaring and spitting fire upon those that dared to come near you.
-You were glad she came to protect you and Joffrey. However, to your surprise, she then lowered herself down to you. You were astonished because she was asking you to mount her.
-You two shared a close bond, but you always believed only a Targaryen was allowed to mount a dragon.
-You asked if she was sure, and when she crumbled in approval, you almost saw Helaena in her gentle eyes. You quickly picked Joffrey, telling him to climb on her back before climbing yourself.
-As Joffrey sat in front of you, you yelled for Dreamfyre to fly.
-Dreamfyre pushed herself into the sky, saving you from the spears and arrows thrown at you.
-When you saw the people who stormed the Dragonpit, holding the heads of the dragons that remained. You grew angry and yelled out a command to fire.
-Dreamfyre heeded out your command and burned the people below you into ashes.
-However, when you saw Tyraxes getting injured and the battle not calming down. You told Dreamfyre to fly away from the fighting. You didn’t want to risk losing Tyraxes in the bloodshed.
-Joffrey yelled for Tyraxes to follow, and you both flew away from King’s landing, away from the violent battle.
-You flew far away till you found a place where you could rest.
-You looked after Tyraxes’s injuries and then tried to comfort Joffrey, who was crying and shaken by the experience.
-He was worried for his mother and asked if you would go back with him to see her.
-You told him you'd see her together once things calmed down. Your assurance that his mother was probably fine gave him some comfort.
-He huddled close to you, and you did not mind since he was a young child. He went through something no child should experience at their age. Even you barely handled it well.
-You felt regret that you couldn't save the other dragons. They were innocent, yet the people slaughtered them like lambs. It made you feel horrible and like you failed as a Dragon keeper.
-After resting through the night. You flew together through the sky to seek a safer place for yourself.
-Joffrey was calmly sleeping in front of you as he was still tired after the long night.
-You decided to fly to the sea to avoid detection. You were not sure if it was the right time to return to King’s landing, so you wanted to take Joffrey and the dragons somewhere safe before looking into it.
-You did not realize you had got into something unknown when clouds and mist began to form around you.
-You began to feel anxious when it was hard to see through the fog.
-Tyraxes kept up with Dreamfyre, so you were not afraid of losing him.
-Joffrey woke up and asked where you were, but you did not know how to answer because you did not know where you were going.
-The wind suddenly became more powerful, and the sea below you started moving in violent waves. You had a bad feeling when you heard rumbles of thunder in the distance.
-You told Joffrey to hold on as it began to rain and thunder.
-The waves grew enormous, so Dreamfyre had to fly higher to avoid getting hit.
-You struggled to hold on to Dreamfyre as she flew through the violent wind and storm.
-Joffrey begged you to turn back as he was getting scared.
-You looked around, trying to find land, but then you noticed something in the water. It was something big, and it was moving.
-Tyraxes let out a roar, seemingly threatened by something, and before you even knew it, a giant creature appeared out of the sea. It was big and had a long serpentine body, so the only description you could have was a gigantic sea snake.
-It came right at you, mouth open with razor-sharp teeth.
-Dreamfyre managed to dodge the attack but then dumped on its tail, causing you and Joffrey to fall off her back into the sea below.
-You both screamed when you got encased by the freezing water. You held onto Joffrey and Dreamfyre’s eggs, trying to remain above the surface.
-The giant sea snake roared and came at you, ready to eat you whole. Joffrey screamed in fright as you both hugged each other.
-Dreamfyre and Tyraxes fired at the snake, turning its attention away from you and Joffrey.
-You both watched as your dragons tried to battle the giant sea snake, breathing fire through the thundering storm.
-Dreamfyre attacked, but then the sea snake bit down on her leg, pulling her down into the sea. You screamed out to her, fearing to lose her like you lost Helaena, helpless and unable to do anything.
-The sea snake’s body caused the waves to separate you from Joffrey.
-Screaming, you tried to reach him, but the waves swept you away, and soon you lost sight of him in the storm.
-At that moment, you prayed for God's mercy.
-You struggled to keep yourself above the surface while holding onto Dreamfyre’s eggs as you drifted away into the unknown.
-When the storm calmed down, and the sea snake was nowhere to be seen, you couldn't do anything but swim through the foggy sea.
-Your muscles ache after swimming for so long. You could feel the fatigue trying to take hold of you, but you didn’t let it happen because if you did – you would die.
-You were tempted because you weren’t sure if you could continue after losing Dreamfyre and Joffrey.
-You were tempted to let go and allow fate to take you.
-Your body became too tired to move, so you floated for a while, contemplating if you should give in or continue.
-Dreamfyre’s eggs were the last thing that held your sanity.
-You wished for them to live and have a chance of freedom, but you were not sure if you could even give them that anymore.
-You were ready to die, so you closed your eyes and prayed the afterlife would be much kinder. At least you would be reunited with Helaena, Dreamfyre, and Joffrey.
-Your consciousness kept you awake when you heard voices and sensed something big moving beside you. You felt hands dragging you out of the water, and your body suddenly became heavy.
-You dropped against the floor, your muscles screaming in pain, and your eyes dropped down without control.
-You heard the people talk in a strange language, and before your vision faded, you saw their ears oddly pointy. You then passed out into the dream realm, so you silently prayed these people were not pirates and took the eggs, the only things you had left in this cruel world.
