April

Frequently non-verbal. Sometimes goes days without speaking. But when she does speak, you know it’s something important.

Excellent at occlumency and legilimency

Also skilled at divination

Knowing she’s nv, Severus teaches her from an early age about nv spellcasting

Hufflepuff

Her family don’t ever pressure her to speak, they can understand her nv communication well enough to not need her to speak

At Hogwarts she gets bullied at first for not speaking but Ariadne quickly puts an end to that

The first time she did speak, she was 5 and it was a whole sentence. It happened when she and Ariadne were alone, and nobody believed Ariadne at first when she said it had happened

Abbie teaches her some rudimentary piano, and when she starts Music at Hogwarts, she finds she can communicate through music as well, including through singing

When she does talk, her voice is soft but everybody listens

Slytherin. Severus almost cries with relief to finally have a child in Slytherin

Jock. Loud. The antithesis of April on the surface, but they have similar morals and are still twin besties

Chaser for Slytherin. Extremely competitive.

Nickname is Ari

Extremely energetic. First to crawl, walk and run of the twins.

Loves a friendly duel

Also won’t hesitate at an unfriendly duel, especially if she’s defending April

Gets in trouble a lot

Gets on well with the Weasleys, especially George, who loves to tell her about all the pranks he and Fred used to pull

Second oldest of the next gen kids after Teddy and uses it frequently to pull rank on the other kids

Argues a lot with Severus because she’s too distracted to bother about good grades
