His mother had been a dusk elf, saved to become an autumn fey under the care of Titania. That in itself would have been enough to have given the Queen his eternal gratitude and respect. And then she had hid them all, the demigods. If she had likely agreed to help create humanity to help the Gods obtain new vessels - he had lived long enough to decide if that was true than he couldn't completely blame her. If Titania had earned some ire for certain decision and also taken long to lend assistance to this growing disaster, he also came to the conclusion that it didn't matter anymore - not if she was here now. Maybe the avariel was bias. And maybe none of them were perfect, a Queen's burden was something that he would never understand. Despite all the years since they last saw one another, when Prometheus looked at Titania it was with every bit of the respect that he once had.

If not for the look in his face and his general demeanor, the avariel almost looked like how he was in Eden. Slightly pointed ears, and wings on his back to stretch the muscles there that he hadn't used in... ages. He greeted the archfey with an incline of his head. "Your Majesty. I have heard nothing of where you will be." No doubt, as Prometheus now hardly talked to people.

Oooooooo, let's go!

As far as the classics go, SCP-231 is a masterclass in creating fear through implication. Mind the trigger warnings at the beginning though.

I love the concept for SCP-105: Iris because she's just a normal woman who can do one weird thing with one particular camera, but she gets embroiled in so many problems thanks to the Foundation refusing to leave well enough alone, essentially. Iris is a good character, she doesn't see as much use in more recent SCPs as she should imo.

SCP-1730: What Happened to Site 13? Is one of the early long-form SCPs, and it's very compelling.

SCP-2316: Field Trip is a great early example of just how creative SCP articles can be, and it will have you saying "I do not recognize the bodies in the water." randomly throughout your day.

Really anything by DJ Kaktus is a good read. SCP-6666: The Demon Hector and the Dread Titania is so far my favorite entry in the expanding Kaktusverse.

001. under the mistletoe—

The thought of accidentally finding herself under the mistletoe with someone is enough to make her skin crawl, so Gemma avoids it whenever possible. It's not the kissing part as much for it as it the awkward dance between two people as they gauge whether or not they want to go through with it. If she does want to kiss someone... that's a different story but almost as equally terrifying. Her and Walt have a running gag where they pretend to get caught under it together every year.

002. in front of the fireplace, cuddled up under a blanket with a hot drink.

First off- in this scenario she's lounging in the most dramatic fashion possible. Full diva. Maybe she's writing, or attempting to write would be more like it. If she were to snuggle up with anyone there's a few names that come to mind although she's just an admirer from afar of most of them. Simon and his little shorts for one, as he obviously needs someone to keep him warm.

004. at a busy dinner table, food piled on the center and family chaos ensuing around the house.

It's a warm and inviting chaos, as it usually is when the DPS boys and their children get together. The bigger personalities try to outperform one another and only get louder as the drinks keep flowing. Once everyone's really drunk they'll read poetry or some form of literature; Gemma's made it tradition to read something awful every year, and if they're lucky, Chuck will pull out his one man show.

005. standing in front of the christmas tree, decorating it with an assortment of baubles, lights and tinsel.

Gemma's the one convincing her dad the bigger tree will fit in their house and then having to jigsaw puzzle it through the door. I think they had fun with the decorations but mostly played it safe, and I'm seeing a very intricate Christmas village in the Pitts home.

006. setting out snacks for santa and his reindeers. don't forget the milk and cookies for christmas hardest workers!

Gemma probably caught her dad eating Santa's cookies one year and sat down with him. Then that became their tradition- setting out milk (two glasses) and cookies for "Santa" just so they could meet one another in the middle of the night to eat them.

007. at the mall, waiting in line to sit on santa's lap and spill your christmas gift wishes. will you be deemed naughty or nice?

Obviously up until this point she's reconsidering every decision she'd made not just in the past year but ever. She's a nice girl though! She had nothing to worry about! And for that she was relived but did gloat about a little too, like, of course she's a good person.

008. exchanging and open gifts, anticipating what gift they may get. is it something cool or just another pair of socks?

Ideally... She'd want the courage to share her writing with more people.. but also the perfect bra that makes her tits look great without making her want to die. Her favorite gift isn't really a gift but one Christmas her and Walt got so high she thought she'd need to go the hospital, and she felt French. When that was finally over and she felt normal again- that was the real gift.

009. auditions are now open for the town christmas extravaganza !!!

Gemma isn't a performer but lots of the people she cherishes most are, and she was kind of obsessed with those freaks on Toddlers and Tiaras, so of course she's playing stage mom. Titania might drag her up for something, in which case she'd need to be plastered before she hit the stage and hopefully not remember a thing.

010. in the trenches of snow forts, amidst a war of a snow fight! who will win?  

She can supply ammo in the form of freshly rolled snowballs but unfortunately her wrists are just so feminine and delicate that throwing them wouldn't get very far. She can hold down the fort, literally, and provide play by play sports commentary.

sorry I tried to reign it in a bit but this is long af lol

When I started shipping it if I did: august 2021, shortly after the lb6 epilogue originally released. I actually hadn’t read the chapter at the time but I read the summaries and thought the ship was probably cute but not particularly deep (fgo master x literally any servant is usually easy mode shipping after all), but when I actually read the chapter I went completely insane about them, and have been insane about them for over 2 years now.

My thoughts: I really like the way Ritsuka starts as a pretty standard and kinda bland almost self-inserty protagonist in part 1 but then in part 2 they very clearly have something wrong with them and their head is extremely Not Okay, and I like the idea that Oberon (and Castoria as a fellow fairy eyes-haver) is one of the only ones that can fully see that. Everyone knows Oberons a liar, but hardly anyone knows Ritsuka has been lying for a while now (about a lot of things, but particularly about being Normal and Okay). The garden of lost will part in lb6 is so, so good.

But I also like how it can also be very unserious because while I like a lot of the angst stuff I also like (/draw)the dumb shit where Ritsuka is just no.1 Oberon simp who does anything he asks because he’s so pretty.

What makes me happy about them: Oberon is extremely miserable and I like to think Ritsuka does make him happy even if he can’t show it, especially since when he’s in Chaldea he’s allowed to just…be? (As opposed to in lb6) I wouldn’t call him a tsundere because the dynamic isn’t quite that but I like how far he has to go out of his way to help Ritsuka in as roundabout way as possible while trying his best to look like he isn’t (the summer event is exactly this). ALSO they are very very cute Ritsuka is like a fluffy dog like a japanese spitz or something and Oberon is a Siamese cat, this is a 10/10 dynamic.

What makes me sad about them: depending on the interpretation of summoning Oberon is either stuck in the abyss forever while a copy of him with the same memories is in Chaldea, or he is saved from the abyss only to have to eventually return there at some point and tbh I don’t know which is worse. also the material book casually noting Oberon would come to ‘accompany’ Ritsuka if they called for him while they were dying, that hurts so good 🥲

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: i have to admit here I don’t really read fanfic but I do read/collect doujins. I don’t like the rapey stuff although tbh it’s way more common with obeguda (one reason why I’m not into it for the most part). I don’t like either of them being sadistic and cruel to eachother for no reason. mostly I don’t really like minibe being lewded, he’s obviously the same character and all but he looks like a weird baby so it can get uncomf visually. I don’t care if people are into that but I can not count the number of times I’ve been jumpscared by it in a pixiv log lol.

things I look for in fanfic: I’m a big dumb idiot masochist and keep buying doujins that look like they will make me cry and then I’m all surprised pikachu face (crying version) after I read them. But I also like dumb gag stuff…and im a sucker for the AUs where they just live together and hang out and be cute and goof off with Castoria, I don’t care that it’s ‘boring’, every time I see it I react like it’s the first time.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: for Ritsuka I’d say Saito Hajime, while I don’t bother to seek it out I do look respectfully at hajiguda if it appears on my feed. For Oberon I don’t ship with anybody else, but the closest thing is that I do really like the tragedy that is him and Blanca (especially since it’s typically one-sided) Blanca is canonically in love with him but according to the material xiii book, she’s (potentially) a cursed princess who isn’t actually a moth, which fascinates me. I also like the theory that she was Titania all along.

My happily ever after for them: Oberon gets granted incarnation as a human by the grail after Everything is Fixed and they live together and also Castoria is there I’m a simple man I’m sappy I eat doujins like this up

Who is the big spoon/little spoon: oberon isn’t a spoon he’s a cat, when he has decided on his sleeping position ritsuka isn’t allowed to move ever

What is their favorite non-sexual activity: I like when they hang out in the welsh forest in the simulator with all the bug fairies. They’re with Castoria a lot too. Oberon is allegedly a good dancer, and whether he actually enjoys it or not, I like to think he does when he does it with them. Maybe he teaches them. 🥹

It was a Sunday afternoon, exactly one month before Christmas. And Cristian, ever the giver, promised a Capulet emissary that his gift was one that was worthwhile. A gift of information.

And while he waited for them Cristian took the liberty to look around. There was a moment here that seemed almost a lifetime ago that he saw what he now knows he had mistook for his future. It had been a woman clad in all the trappings of a queen and he but her lowly servant could not tear away. He was magnetised. He would have pledged his black heart and soul to her, if only time had permitted it. But now in retrospect, he wonders if God had been merciful. If His plan had come to fruition yet. It is without a doubt that this place was filled with the past, of grand designs and dreams but sometimes, some things were better left as bygones. No use dwelling, he’d say.

So, he stepped away from the sun seeping in through the windows before rounding off beyond a corner into another viewing area. And effectively leaving a part of himself behind among the sightless sculptures. 

He stopped before one of the museum’s finest pieces. There, he stood before an unabashed depiction of violence. A beheading. Fitting wasn’t it? He’d come here to deliver a news of a similar theme.

A movement by his periphery caught his attention and a smile bloomed on his features. They were here at last. With a shallow incline of his head, he greeted Theodora Moreau. “How nice to see you again, Theo. I’m glad you could make it.”

A terrible storm settles over Rome to herald his arrival, a grim reflection of his mood as a song of fury echoes in his heart. He didn’t even try to contain his power or emotion, how could he? A great injustice has just been committed. Terrible gusts and rumbling thunder are at Zahrya’s back now as he marches to Titania’s underground cell, his usual blossoms and light no where to be found as his soul darkens with instability. It was Fen’s insistence that he keep himself in check that prevented any of his rages from leaking out onto the guards, but the sight of his perfect queen looking disheveled and locked up like an animal breaks him. He was grossly unaware of what had been brewing in the senate that day and only heard of the events after the fact. Zahrya crumbles to his knees before her cell, wailing his poor heart out for he blames himself more than anyone. “Majesty I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I should’ve been here! I should’ve protected you!” It must’ve been over a millennium since he last cried and his intense outpouring is reflected in the tumultuous weather he conjures outside. But as the rain gives way to stronger winds and lighting, his broken heart gives way to hatred. This was unacceptable, unforgivable. How dare they touch her, hurt her, disgrace her like this! Unforgivable. “I’ll kill them for this! I’ll kill them all! I’ll bring this city to the ground for you! This will not stand, please Your Majesty! I will punish them for this, just give me the word and I’ll bring you home!”

The phone was the first thing she heard on this God-forsaken morning, and the voicemail left by none other than Cosimo Capulet turned her blood to ice: Rafaella has recommended I stay my hand after all that you have been through, but after that video…all I could think was how you would have done the same as that Montague did.

It’s why Catherine lingers outside of her beloved mentor’s door, hands shaking and heart beating erratically as she debates leaving, debates acting as though she knows nothing, as though her world hasn’t been turned completely upside down. She can still hear her eldest sister’s voice; she can still hear the satisfaction that coated Grace Daly’s words as she admitting to shooting Cosimo. She can still hear Everett’s words, his admittance that Grace was the Montague that led him into a trap--and Brielle...

She shakes the thoughts away, throat tightening at the mere thought of being used not once, but twice--all to hurt one of those closest to her. 

She knocks twice on the door before twisting the knob (when was the last time she knocked to enter Theodora’s laboratory?), nerves getting the best of her as she doesn’t quite wait for them to tell her that she can enter. “Theo,” the blonde greets, lips dipping into a sharp frown before she can stop them. She slips into the room, door clicking shut behind her as she stares at the emissary--a deer in headlights, helpless, a girl stuck between a rock and a hard place. “I’m sorry for so rudely intruding.” The softness in her voice belies the hurricane of emotions that thrash unforgivingly in her chest, her stomach, her eyes.

“Do you have a moment? I-I need to talk to someone. To you, really.” I need to talk to someone I can trust, she means. Catherine can feel the sharp burn behind her eyes and she wills the impending tears away, for her own sake more than theirs. “Please...”

a random thought: it’s strange so many married couples but not alot of content for em. i get it’s chise and elias’s story but i dunno i like variety in alot of fandoms when it comes to couples. probably why i ship so many.

An unpopular opinion: liza quillian along with veronica have me concerned on what kind of villians/conflict the latest plot in the manga has. even though they haven’t made any big appearances i just worry on what they’ll bring if it’s cliched or such. i dunno just the conflict of the school’s separate groups is enough i don’t want a sunset shimmer-esque equestria girls-like conflict cause that’s just the worse scenario i have. i look forward to whatever kore has to offer but i just get all of the scary highschool/college cliches in my head when it comes to it. i just hope i’m not right on any of this.

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): none so far, i’m concerned bout lucy’s with the recent chapter feeling like she might do something bad to philomena but i’m just hoping that’s just my brain thinking of the worst scenarios. so far no one but veronica and liza i kinda sorta wish if their supposed to be the antagonists they had more to do or least lurk around like cartephilius. otherwise no one really. the husbands in this series have me concerned cause their either comic reliefs or not around but it’s better then them going the ‘everybody loves Raymond’ route with the married couples. -just to note i loath that show with a burning passion-. otherwise no one really seems screwed up. only ones i hope won’t are the other students chise was introduced to in chapter 49, since they look like a big cast i’d love to get to know. and hope the twins don’t go at eachother like the amethyst twins in hnk PLEASE i wanna keep a set of twins from sadness!

Favourite Friendship: chise’s and ruth’s i’m a sucker for sibling relationships like them. alice and chise tho are a close second.

Character I most identify with: hmmmmm, i’d say chise the best. quiet, does things for others without thinking of her own wants or needs putting them first, sometimes letting her emotions get to her when it comes to protecting people and acting irrationally thanks to em.

Character I wish I could be: silver tbh. her cleaning and cooking skills are goals.

Rowena not only is able to harness the power of nature to cast her magic. Rowena will invoke Titania or other beings of old magic, often in the form of spells she herself has written, or rituals devised as offerings and sacrifices, sometimes both. These are either done in Gaelic or in English and are as much a sort of prayer as a spell. She will ask for and successfully draw on the forces of fae magic when they are kind enough to grant it, and they are often very kind to her.  It's something a wee bit more unique to her as a natural born MacLeod witch, not something just any witch can do with ease.

This is an actual story in Clan MacLeod of Dunvegan, of the Isle of Skye There are numerous traditions and stories associated with the fairy flag, most of which deal with its magical properties and mysterious origins. The flag is said to have originated as: a gift from the fairies to an infant chieftain; a gift to a chief from a departing fairy-lover; a reward for defeating an evil spirit. The various powers attributed to the Fairy Flag include: the ability to multiply a clan's military forces; the ability to save the lives of certain clanfolk; the ability to cure a plague on cattle; the ability to increase the chances of fertility; and the ability to bring herring into the loch at Dunvegan. Some traditions relate that if the flag were to be unfurled and waved more than three times, it would either vanish, or lose its powers forever.

Another 19th-century tradition linked the flag to a prophecy which foretold the downfall of Clan MacLeod; but it also prophesied that, in the "far distant future", the clan would regain its power and raise its honour higher than ever before.
