as likely as it was, demetrius didn't actually expect to meet anyone at pride. even more than that, he didn't expect to take anyone home. though, it was over just as fast as it began and the other he'd spent hours rolling around the sheets with left before he woke up the next morning. he didn't really know how to feel about that. while he wasn't looking for anything serious, he still felt like the two of them had fun and maybe something could come out of it. clearly, he'd been wrong.

demetrius decided to grab a drink after work, just one to wind down, but as he sat down at the bar, he immediately recognized the other. he debated on approaching or saying anything to him due to the other having left but...it couldn't hurt right? "hey," he spoke up, flashing the other a smile. "think i could buy that next one?"

if there was one thing about demetrius, it was that he was a bit of a coffee addict and there was no way he wasn't going to stop in before his shift at permanent record. he had just grabbed his coffee and turned on his heels when he came face to face with someone he hadn't seen in a long time and for good reason too. guilt immediately coated his features as his eyes met romeo's and he cleared his throat. should he pretend he wasn't there or play nice? he assumed playing nice was probably best. "hey," he started, "how have you been?"

demetrius was having a slow sunday, which despite it being a weekend day, it wasn't all that surprising. so, he was working on making a couple of flash sheets when he heard the front door chime, indicating that someone had come in. a grin immediately took over his face as his eyes landed on his sister, "don't tell me you're ready for new ink already." he teased the girl.
