She probably shouldn't have had that last tequila slammer. She probably should've refused it, smiled and walked away but when she was handed a drink, Lia was not one to smile and decline. Instead, she had thrown the drink back, squeezed the lime and was now wobbling slightly in the high heels of her glittery thigh high boots.

It had truly been an incredible night, from her time with Emil, plotting the murder of her friends for the inappropriate writing still on her ass cheek and just generally being able to truly have fun at Halloween. As Lia made her way across the bar, she had a truly stupid, drunken smile on her face. Especially when she saw him.

"Wesley!" She was only a few steps from him and after she had navigated them, very slowly, in her heels, she threw her arms around his arms and torso, squeezing him tight. "Hot brother number two, you look terrifying, it's great." Squeezing him again, Lia rested her chin on his arm as she grinned up at him. "Guess who's staying at your house tonight.."

He knew so few people in town and even some of the few that he did know had no interest in talking to him after the stunt he pulled last year. He had never been particularly enthusiastic to meet with his publisher but as she stood up to leave, needing to catch her flight back to New York, Nate felt a little pang. At least he'd been able to talk to her for a couple of hours and even though it had been mainly business related, it was better than potentially trying to hide from all the people who were hoping he'd leave town again.

As he grabbed his jacket and stood, his eyes landed on one of those people. Weston.

He had been friends with Wes when he lived in town before, having known his older brother for years before hand. When he left, Wes hadn't known that Nate and Holly had been together, or so he believed, but it wasn't exactly something he wanted to test. If anyone was going to give him hell for what he had done and given that Mari had already tried, he was sure it was going to be Weston. He could keep his head down, pay his tab and hope to escape, or he could just go about his business. Instead, he nodded in the vague direction of the man in case he had seen him before heading to the bar, hoping to settle his tab quickly so he could get out of the bar.

Mason had decided that he wanted to go out and be in nature for a little bit, just to take in and think through everything that had happened since he had gotten into town. He had left Ollie with his new sitter before arriving at the campsite and struggling only a little bit with getting his tent set up. He had finally got it and settled down in his chair, letting the quiet settle in. He had brought his headphones and a book, intending on some quiet time to start off his little mini vacation before surgery. Everything was going fine until he heard rustling in the wooded area behind him and turning quickly just to see a familiar face there. "Shit..you scared me man..."

Listening to the story, Kira couldn't help but chuckle at the visual, but as the full extent of the malfunction was revealed, she gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. "Commando? Oh my god, no!" She had expected it to be about a pants ripping, but it went further than Kira would've imagined. As she began to laugh, Kira's head leaned backwards slightly, unable to shake the mental image from her brain. "I'm going to have to look this up on YouTube or something when I get home, that's brilliant."

Looking at the menu as they reached the bar, Kira dropped her hand from his arm, using it to tuck a rogue curl behind her ear. "I'd have been shocked if you said anything else was your go to, honestly. But let's go for it, a rowdy cowboy it is." Turning a little to lean back against the bar, Kira glanced out at the crowd, her lips quirking up into a smile. "Ironic really, I'm sure there's going to be a whole lot of them out there later in the evening. Sure the cocktail isn't going to be too.. not whiskey for you?"

Wes chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his neck as he leaned against the bar. "The worst one?" He repeated, thinking back. "Let's just say, a guy's pants ripped clean down the middle during a bull ride. He didn't even notice 'til after he hit the ground. Crowd was cheering.. but not for the reason he thought. He uh.. he was commando, too." Grin widening a bit, he couldn't help but feel amused at the memory. He was still adjusting to this side of her — the relaxed, playful Kira who wasn't working herself to the bone. It was nice, seeing her like this. He looked down for a second when her hand rested on his arm, feeling that familiar warmth creeping up again, but he quickly masked it with another smirk. "Guess so," he said, before looking back at the menu. His cheeks flushed a little when she told him he was plenty smooth, calling him cowboy, not knowing what to say. His fingers tapped lightly on the bar as he scanned the options. "Not to be cliche, but uh.. whiskey's my go to. I could be partial to one of these cocktails, though. —The, uh.. Rowdy Cowboy looks good."

I've never started a trend or done an event like this before, however, I do want to do my best in hosting something fun for the community. So, if you have any questions. leave them in tags or replies and I will try to answer them as best as i can!

And, much like what narry says, you are not required to participate! if you miss a day, or an event, or don't have the motivation to do anything up ahead, then thats fine too! This is just meant to be something nice and fun to do. Plus a way to celebrate vacations and road trips bc i love those kinda things and we get to give our tsp goobers a little break, as a treat ksjdhfkjsdfh

"It's no trouble, I can't have you sitting out here with your cone on the floor. Besides, I was worried you steal licks of Elijah's" Kira smiled as the little boy smiled and as the boys shuffled to give her some space, she perched on the edge of the bench. "Thank you, I never get to sit out here anymore." When she had worked at the shop as a teenager, she had spent every summer lunch outside, watching the town go by. Now she was lucky if she made it beyond the counter for any reason other than to clean a table. "No, never." Smirking a little as she took a spoonful of her cup, Kira couldn't help but chuckle. "It's been mentioned once or twice over the years, but I don't think I'll ever get bored of hearing it, honestly." It had been pretty much her sole goal over the years to make sure the shop thrived and compliments on it or her recipes were guaranteed ways to get her to smile. "Although luckily I never put the banana flavour one out for sale, or you might not be so complimentary." Shuddering at the menu, Kira took another bite before setting the cup down. "But Elijah, if you ever want to torture your uncle, I can whip up a batch."

"You sure you don't need any help?" ?" Wes called out, starting to rise, but Kira was already at her car, efficiently loading the box like she’d done it a hundred times before. Like a hero, she came out of the shop minutes later with a fresh ice cream for him. "You didn't have to do that. Thank you." Hell, he wasn't going to say no to chocolate ice cream. "You're my favourite person today, hope you know that." He could feel Elijah's reaction next to him, his mock shock causing Wes to chuckle. "Relax, buddy. You'll always be my number one. We just have to send some appreciation to our favourite ice cream maker," he said, glancing at Kira with a smirk. "Sure. We've got room for one more." Wes shuffled a little closer to Eli to allow Kira to join them on the bench. "Has anyone ever, uh.. you know, told you how incredible your ice cream is?" Going there had practically become a part of their routine.

Nick: "I love the fact that the writers took Emmerich and explored the whole idea of death and the whole idea of necromancing by bringing kindness into it.
