please I need everyone to listen to the “Thrawn” audiobooks. the moment in the first book where Arihnda Pryce is betraying her bestie Juahir is golden. the narrator has given her like an american valley girl accent and she yells, so scandalized and betrayed, “Arihnda!” and it’s so funny, he says each syllable with the accent it’s-oh my god it’s fantastic

and now I say it every time I am slightly annoyed lmao

I was so giddy when Chaos Rising unexpectedly bumped into Alliances. Alliances came out in 2018, and Chaos Rising in 2020. One book, and two years later, we got to see that Timothy Zahn had everything perfectly planned and he just made us wait for something we didn't know we were waiting for, which is not unlike his devious son. If only the rest of this franchise could be so coordinated!

listening to the thrawn audiobooks (thraudiobooks, if you will) has completely altered my perception of so many of the characters. thrass in particular. i liked him well enough before, but after hearing his fruity lil voice he is now literally my BESTIE
