turns out romanticising a big city life could not actually prepare me for the reality that is moving away from my small hometown after being there for the last two and a half years and flinging myself into living basically in the downtown core ☺️

#my grandma's janazah was held in quite a large mosque and they dont really ever let anyone lead the funeral prayer other than the Imam#and my family asked the Imam if theyd let my uncle lead the prayer and on the day i thought he said no#but when they began the prayer it was my uncle's voice#i think about this all the time#Allah truly blessed him with the chance to lead his mother's Janazah Subhanallah#May Allah grant her the highest level of Jannah#*
