i love that like last year i was like
Man i really want a f/f ship to just attach myself to one that I just really really like and gives me actual brain worms instead of just a simple
yeah ok that could be cute
and then out of everything it could have been it ended up being LoveWater of all things
which makes sense LoveWater does tick alot of boxes for me
So yeah thinking about them again but specifically thinking about the whole Penelope's year changed from the first publication of the books thing
and thinking about her being a fifth year during Luna's first year instead of being in the same year as Percy
so by extension being able to take Luna to the Yule Ball with her (as friends) mostly as a fuck you to the girls Luna's age that are bullying her as well as just to let her have fun
Would her letting Luna go with her make the bullying worse? yeah probably
Does Penny consider that? No she just did not think about that and saw Luna looking at the dresses some of the other students were getting in for the ball and just went
yeah ok I'll take you with me
#Lovewater#luna lovegood#penny clearwater#penelope clearwater#really starting to realize that LoveWater can fit so many og yuri romance tropes and that's probably part of what draws me to them a bit#Like Older girl taking a younger girl under her wing to help her in school leading to a crush on the younger ones side?#thats like og yuri 101#Strawberry Panic but like less toxic#though to be really old school yuri they would have to die at the end or realize that “it was a phase” oh or that they are legit sisters#which im just gonna push that under the rug#Elise's Thoughts and Concepts

I usually do reviews of the new season of anime, but I don't have time this season. So instead I thought I'd do a quicker review based on the queer vibes each anime has.
My New Boss is Goofy: this is a silly office sitcom-like anime. It has so many gay moments, but it's not straight up gay. However one of the characters, Kinjo, actually admitted to liking men and women, so that makes this a 10/10
The 100 Girlfriends who really really love me: Very straight. A boy who had no luck in love suddenly gets all the luck. And he has 100 soulmates. And he has to love them all or they'll die? Great if you love for real for real harem anime. Otherwise the queer vibe is 0/10
Stardust Telepath: a girl who feels like she doesn't belong? That she would relate to aliens better? Then she meets a girl claiming to be an alien? And they have forehead telepathy? Mmm that Yuri vibes, 7/10
Frieren: What happens after the end of a long adventure? Well mostly, the heros grow old and die, fading into memory and legend. Except for the long lived elves. This series doesn't have much romance, however, Frieren, the elf, is implied to be asexual. Most elves are, which is why the race is dying out now. Great anime 10/10
Our Dating Story: A boy asks out the most popular girl and she says yes??? What will happen now? Well nothing gay, but it's still cute. 0/10 on them queer vibes.
Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions: Ron is a detective but is forbidden from working. He has a special power, you see, and it's caused many deaths. However a detective on the police force needs his help, so Ron works through him to solve cases. It's like Sherlock, but not a lot of queer vibes here. Great show though, 2/10
KamiErabi God.app: I can't describe how awful this is, but very straight. 0/10
SHY: A new superhero who is very shy has started to protect Japan. Unfortunately she lets someone get injured, a young girl her age. And then that girl comes to her school? It's actually kinda gay 9/10
I'm in Love with the Villainess: A girl gets transported into the world of her favorite otome game. She loves the villainess of the game way more than the princes. Explicitly gay. 1000/10

Childish! Jungkook x BadGirl! Y/n
A/n: sorry if I make any mistakes I tried my best :3
Written: 2021 11 June Published: 2021 22 July
~"Y/n! My mom said we can go to the park!" Younger Jungkook shouted. He came running over to while you were looking at this weird teddy bear. "Y/n?" Jungkook said. "Oh, Sorry I was just looking at this weird teddy bear" You answered while pointing at the light pink teddy bear. "Hmm.. It looks like.." Jungkook said. He was still thinking about what the teddy bear reminded him of. " Jungkook-ah! Mom said we need to go." Jin (Jungkook's older brother) shouted. Jungkook stopped looking at the teddy bear and gave you a necklace. " I wanted to give you this to remind you of our friendship!". He explained. Before you could respond Jungkook waved goodbye and went inside his house.~
"Heh..you still didnt come back..." you mumbled. Remebering that memory was painful especially since Jungkook never came back. " Class! We have a new student" Mr.Lee said. "Hi...Im Jungkook and I hope to be friends with you!" He said. You almost chocked on the piece of gum you were chewing. "Jungkook? Here? No way!" You thought."Right.. you can sit next to...Y/n!" Mr lee said while pointing to you. You scoffed in reply. As soon as he sat down next to you he asked " Y/n? Y/n Y/L/N?" You ignored him. You tried your hardest to ignore him but a sound escaped your mouth " Hmp!" You angrily said.
After class finished your best friends Taehyung and Jimin came straight after you asking you questions like " Is that the Jungkook you were talking about? Does he still want to be your friend?" You simply answered with a shrug. You didnt know how to feel about meeting Jungkook , You dont even know if hes your friend. Jungkook went up to you. " Y/nnie~ Why are yo-" "Shut up! Just leave me alone!" I shouted. Then I left to go to my next class. Taehyung ran after me.

Why is she being so stubborn! I just want to be friends with her again just like the old times...
~"Jungkookie I bet you can't catch me!" Y/n shouted. She was running into the forest but Jungkook catched her and tickled her. " J-Jungkookie! Stop tiggling me! Hehe" Y/n said while trying to hold back her laughter.~
I had to go to my next class. " Jungkook~ I'm sure she'll come back to you! Why is she so special anyway?" Jimin asked. "I'll tell you after class" I answered. The teacher was talking really loudly but I couldn't really care I was mostly focusing on Y/n and her beautiful smile, Her soft skin and her Hazel brown eyes.

"Right! Your partners are.....Taehyung and Jimin! Ari and Yuri! Y/n and Jungkook!" Mr.Kim shouted. "But-!"I was going to say something but Mr.kim cut me off. "No buts!" He told me. I looked over at Jungkook as he showed his bunny smile at me. He only smiled at 𝗆𝖾 it was weird but I guess hes desperate to be friends again.
"Y/n we'll do the project at my house!" He exclaimed. I just nodded my head in reply. We started working on our project when my phone rang. "I have to take this call I'll be right back!" I told him. I ran out of his house and sat down on his porch. I answered the call and was about to speak but I was interrupted by Taehyung. "Y/n~ Did you and jungkook get along?" Taehyung annoyingly said. "Tae why did you call me?" I asked ignoring his question. "Um.....Good question, I actually don't know..But me and Jimin were drunk last night!" He exclaimed. "Seriously Tae?....Bye!" I said as I ended the call. I went back inside to see Jungkook had finished half of our project. "I ....I wanted to finish quick so, you can do the other half!" He told me with a bunny smile on his face. I sighed in reply and started finishing the other half of the project.
2 Hours later
I finally finished and it was 9 am already! I looked over at Jungkook who was sleeping and just left without a sign. I ran over to Jimins house and used the spare keys to open the door. Only to find Jimin on the floor sleeping and Taehyung sitting down in a corner. "Right! How drunk did you guys get?" I asked curiously. "Well we nearly drank 3 bottles of bear, before Jimin passed out of course" Taehyung explained. I went over to Jimin and hit him with a pillow. "Ow! What was that for!" He shouted. "I knew you were fake sleeping!" I said.

I woke up from my slumber to find that Y/n was gone without a trace. I picked up my phone and called her but she declined them. I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 9 am! That she stayed overnight...but where did she sleep? Wait am I forgetting something....SCHOOL!
|Y/ns P.O.V|
"C'mon we have to go to school!" I shouted as I pulled Taehyung and Jimin into the bus and sat them down. While the bus was driving us to school I opened my phone and I had 5 missed messages from Joonie and 16 missed calls from Michael Jacksons twin(The nickname for Jungkook).
📱 Joonie: Y/n! Yoongi said you leaked his phone number online!
📱 Y/n: Bruh..He doesn't know how to take a joke smh
The bus doors opened so, I had to go. Me Jimin and Tae came into the entrance of our school and there was Carly, Carly and her crew bullys us alot. "Well well, it seems like Y/n has an eye for the new student!" Carly shouted gaining everyone's attention. "Dont you know that Jungkook is mine? Well even if he wasn't with me he wouldn't like you!" She exclaimed while telling everyone to laugh. I had enough of this so I walked pass her but, she grabbed my hair. "Why are you running away? Are you a pussy? Hmm" She said while pulling my hair harder. I grabbed her leg and punched her face. "Nope it seems like your just a dumbass!" I shouted. Namjoon came from behind her and stopped the fight "Girls you both need to sto-" Namjoon was about to tell us to stop but I kicked Carly in her face and she went flying. "Jungkook is not yours and never will be! So stop pretending!" I screamed at her. Jungkook came in and heard me. " Y/n...Let's go" Taehyung said. Then we left like but I showed Carly my middle finger.
In the Principals office
"Y/n......This is the second time you've been here in my office, Do you have anything to say for yourself?" Mr.Jung asked. I shook my head and looked down at the floor. "If it carries on you'll have to be suspended!" He said. "Now get out of my office please" I walked out of his office and someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me in the janitors room.
"Y/n! it's me Jin remember?" He said. I nodded my head in reply. "Jungkook missed you but, you keep on ignoring him...Why?" Jin asked. "You know why! He broke his promise actually 2 of them!, He said he would protect me but when me and Carly fought he did nothing and he said he would never leave me!" I shouted. Tears formed an ocean under my eyes drowing my face. He wiped my tears as I saw pity in his eyes. "He didn't want to leave you! He was forced to leave!" Jin replied with shocking news. I hugged Jin for comfort and he hugged me back. "I'll try to be friends with him again! I promise you" I exclaimed with a determined expression.
Outside of School
I ran up to Jungkook and walked with him. "Why are you walking with me?" Jungkook asked. "I....I want to be friends again just like when we were little! I understand if you don't wa-" He cut me off by hugging me, I was about to hug him back but he picked me up!
|Jungkook's P.O.V|
I didn't want her to finish her sentence so I hugged her and put her over my shoulder. "Jungkook....DA FUQ ARE YOU DOING!!" She shouted. "Just playing with my short friend" I told her while laughing. Jimin, Taehyung and Hobi were taking pictures of us and posting it on social media, well except from Taehyung he doesn't want to die from Y/n.
I ran all the way to her house and greeted her mom "Hi Auntie!" I said as I ran up to Y/n's room and threw her on her bed. "Are we friends again?" She asked. "Yes" I said. "Even though I wanna be more than friends..." I whispered but somehow she heard me. We both sat up and she kissed me. It was passionate and soft I only dreamed about this moment never thinking it would come true. I kissed her back. It was like we were in an unstoppable dream. We broke the kiss for air. "Maybe we can be more..." She said.
The End~
A/n: The end is kinda cringy 😬, but you can imagine what happens next hehehehe!

It's so great that you're getting more confident in your own writing!! Can I request “I kept every letter…” (72) with Yuri please? Maybe it had something to do with a reunion after the timeskip? Ooh, maybe include a letter or two (but only if you want)! Also if you haven't done the DLC then maybe Sylvain? Ily 💖💖💖🥺🥺🥺
I kinda hate how this ended up but at the same time I’m aware of the fact that I’m currently in a a mindset where I don’t like anything I do soooo yeah. But it was fun to write! So thats a plus! I just didn’t bother proof reading ngl...
Also omg am I ever bad at naming fics ugh don’t look at it
Disclaimer: The way I wrote the reader character implies a lot that they are experiencing depression due to the losing time, general melancholy, and so on. Please don’t push yourself to read this if that could be triggering to you! Its not worth it!

The Letters You Sent || Yuri Leclerc
Days seemed to turn to night every time you blinked, and months seem to pass with every breath.
It all seemed to blur together, those five years of many battles and little hope, except for the only thing that seemed to keep you tethered to reality.
Every so often, about 2-3 weeks apart, you would receive a letter from one of your old classmates.
The first had more than caught you by surprise. A traveling merchant had said something strange to you, strange yet oh so familiar... you quickly returned to him and his wares once you had pinpointed where you had first heard such a phrase, but the man only laughed and insisted you take a beautiful porcelain jar.
Later that night you had opened it up, finding a curious little letter inside.
You only knew of one person who would have the influence to get a merchant on board with such a clever plan, especially considering how heavily monitored mail and trade had been by the empire.
Thus your discreet correspondence with Yuri Leclerc had begun.
The two of you tended to talk about everything but the war. It was almost as if you were exchanging amorous notes back and forth like school children. Almost as if there was no war to speak of.
And truthfully, it’s all you had to hold on to the world around you.
Until the letters stopped
—
You swayed and stumbled through the next four and a half months, barely remembering any of it.
At one point, you were visited by another old classmate, Ashe, who helped pull you away from your melancholic routine. He had come to visit between battles, insisting that the two of you go back to the monastery for the promised reunion. You shrugged in indifference, to which Ashe pouted.
You gave in with little protest, as you didn’t have enough strength to fight against Ashe’s decisions. This only worried the freckled boy more and more as he saw just how hard the war had hit you. You were almost lifeless... nothing like what he remembered from your academy days.
You stopped to put up a makeshift camp when night fell, and thats when Ashe pulled an actual response from you. Finally, something more than a shrug!
“What happened, [Y/N]? Clearly, something happened.” Ashe asked softly, face downcast as he anticipated a reply
“I’ve never been much of a solitary person, being alone for so long has really gotten to me.” You admitted, though skipping the details about losing time as you thought it’d only worry the boy further
“I... I’m sorry. We all went our separate ways... but I...”
You knew now that Ashe was consumed with guilt by this. He looked to you not with pity in his eyes, but guilt and concern.
“Well I.. I was exchanging letters with Yuri for a time. Through an old merchant.”
“Oh?” He looked up, “Well, lead it to Yuri to find a clever loop hole. We barely have been able to send letters between the kingdom territories not controlled by the empire.”
“It’s that bad, huh? I suppose I really took the letters for granted.” You sigh
“When was the last time he wrote?”
“The last one I received was...” you paused to think. How many days had past? “Four... four and a half I think?”
“Weeks? Well—“
“Months”
“Oh, I see.” He nodded, “though that doesn’t mean—“
“Whatever it does mean, isn’t anything in my favor. He’s dead... He’s captured... He just doesn’t want to talk to me anymore... the options aren’t good.”
Ashe fell silent, unable to muster a counter argument that made any sense. Looking away, you sigh.
“You won’t be alone anymore, though.” Ashe spoke up
“What?” You turn back, eyes wide with curiosity
“You won’t be alone. I’ve heard that both Sylvain and Felix intend on making it to the reunion, and so I can only imagine who else will be there. You’ll be surrounded by people who care about you.”
“I—“ you pause, sighing “you sound like you’re trying to convince me to go, despite us being halfway there.”
Ashe chuckled “ah, you’re right.”
“Lets just get some rest.”
—
The next day also seemed to blur by, but that was more in the sense that Ashe’s horse was going so damn fast. And then, of course, there were the thieves.
You were the most excited you had been since you read the neat and loopy words scrawled across the parchment neatly placed in that porcelain pot. It really made you fight with more vigor than you had felt since you left.
In the aftermath, you a familiar mint haired silhouette.
“The professor is alive?” You gasped, pushing past your other classmates “oh professor! I’m so glad you’re alive!”
“I’m glad to find that all of you are alive as well,” they answered back “I’m sorry for being away for so long.”
Everyone’s spirits seemed high, including your own. You even seemed to forget about the letters sent by a certain someone! At this point, everyone started to crowd the previously dead professor to question them, and so you shirked away to the back of the crowd.
“Well now, you were quite concerned for the professor, but not me? Thats harsh.” A familiar sing-songy voice teased
You were paralyzed in your spot, unknowing what to do as your thoughts raced a mile a minute. So he was alive? You were overjoyed!
Except that meant... the letters...
You turned on your heal to face the man. He was still taller than you despite how you had grown, his hair had grown out somewhat, and by the goddess he was still stunning!
“Yuri?” You had to mumble, almost as if you were sure he was only your imagination
“Who else? You seriously didn’t forget such a pretty face, did you?”
Disbelief turned to anger the longer you looked at his teasing smile. Why had he stopped sending letters? And then why is he picking on you now? It didn’t make sense.
“Why are you saying such things when you were the one who cut contact with me! Did none of it matter to you.”
Yuri didn’t seem surprised by your words, though clearly they still rubbed him the wrong way.
To avoid causing a fuss, Yuri pulled you aside.
“They did. Do, I mean. I kept every letter.” He huffs
You felt a flutter in your heart from his response, but you still pressed him for answers, “Then what was with the last few months?”
“The last— right.” An exasperated sigh left the man’s lips as he held his head in his hands “the merchant demanded more and more money each time— I had to think about Abyss first.”
“Oh.”
“I wish I said something in my last letter, I do, but I didn’t think it would be the last.”
“I... I’m sorry for thinking the worst.” You admit, the anger now long gone “I just... thought you were... y’know?”
Yuri’s hands lifted to your shoulders and gave them a reassuring squeeze. You melted at his touch.
“You think I’d die that easily?” He laughed “while I was waiting this whole time for you to come back?”

𝙱𝙸𝙶𝙶𝙴𝚁, 𝙱𝙴𝚃𝚃𝙴𝚁
You’re his favorite thing to figure out, and the most fun to mess with. That’s all the motivation Tooru Oikawa needs, princess.
.wordc. 4.5k+ tw stepcest, manipulation, daddy, stepfather oikawa, ddlg-ish, adultery mentions, degradation, oral (giving), age gap (no age given but tooru is ±decade older than reader)
+
A viper. A dried out viper skin on the side of the hiking path as you walk with laboured breath behind your mother. It still moves in the breeze, like it’s ready to strike at any moment. But the actual thing that will bite you isn’t here anymore, long moved on to better places. You stare at the skin as it rolls down the path, mouth corners instinctively pulling down in pity. The animal isn’t dead yet, as far as you know at least, but it seems equally unfortunate to leave behind something that was once as much part of you as the air filling your lungs.
It’s only when fingers wrap around your forearm and motion you back with a sharp pull that you look up with wide eyes.
“It’s still here,” he points at the bush near your feet, grip only softening a little to smooth the warm pads of his fingers over your skin, “watch out. You have to be careful, sweetheart.” His lithe voice is pointed when he leads you along his side of the path instead, away from the threat of poison. He lets go of you again, but the touch seems burned into your skin anyway, even when he passes by you and happily continues the ascent. Your mom thanks him with a soft smile, and he leans over to give her a sweet kiss. All while your feet seem cemented to the floor, and even more when he looks down at you with a tiny line between his brows.
You don’t know if that is what concern looks like on him, not yet anyway, but the way his smile drops when glancing at you is enough to tip you off to his worry. He mumbles something about keeping up, as you glance back behind you to take another look at the black viper, but clearly you don’t have an eye for snuffing them out, since it seems to have vanished into thin air. You fist your hands back in your pockets and continue up the trail behind the other two, glancing away when he turns back to you again with the same message, a bit more pointed this time. “Don’t stay behind so far.”
That is the first and maybe only time you think you understand the nature of your relationship with him. Tooru, with his tight grip, and you, glancing straight past the poisonous monster.
It’s late when you sneak back in.
Not quite late enough to get you in trouble, but past dark nevertheless. You slip your shoes off and tiptoe through the hall, peeking into the main room of the house with a heavy heart. Bright flicks of light still play on the walls, and sat on the large couch is the brunet, one leg tucked up toward his chest. Some match plays on the screen, you don’t recognize the team colours. Old habits die hard, you suppose. You only know he’s been waiting up when he sits up a bit straighter, blowing out a deep sigh. “Where have you been hanging out?” he throws the words over his shoulder without turning, though he does lower the volume of the tv. Your breathing hitches in the dip of your throat, a handbrake against your words.
Always with Tooru, it feels like he’s asking questions to trip you up. Asking questions he already knows the answer to, and so most of the time it’s not worth the struggle of lying at all. “Come here for a moment, come talk to me,” he mumbles, looking over to catch your eyes for the first time since you left for school this morning. His pretty hazels seem to soften slightly as they take your figure in.
They used to remind you of spring. Used to catch the light of pink sunsets in a way that convinced you to let them into your home and grow there, you wanted to trust him, if only for the sake of your mother. Now, three years in, they don’t remind you of spring anymore. You walk over and sit though, recognizing his tone as nothing less than an order. He’s not asking, and it’s better not to make him tell you a second time. You curl your feet under the couch and hide in on yourself, shoulders tense. The ticking of the clock is so loud.
Your heart skips a beat when you look up to see him watching you already, an eyebrow raised. God, you really don’t feel like being civil tonight, but you know that anything less would just ruin you more. So you tangle your hands in your lap and put on a little smile. “I’m sorry I’m a little late, daddy, I had a lot to talk about and lost track of time. How was your day?” You must sound as meek as you feel around him nowadays, but he still nods in understanding, like nothing is wrong. To him, there probably isn’t. You just hope he’s in a good enough mood to leave you be tonight, praying for it on repeat in your head.
Your mom won’t be home from her business trip for another few days, and he’s always careful to bruise where it can easily be covered up when she is. The thick silence between you two is tense, but you still prefer it to the spike of anxiety you feel when his mouth drops into a narrow line, like he’s debating his answer. His eyes trace all over you, going from your face to your hands and down your exposed legs quickly. Landing on your lips, as they always do. “It was alright,” he says. He watches you for another moment, before grabbing the remote to turn off the game.
Such a small motion that makes your stomach drop, feeling the familiar panic rise into the back of your throat. Because it means you’ll have his full attention, and when you do, it hardly ever ends well for you. He pats his thigh, and smiles. “Come sit here, tell me about your day.” The tight embrace your mother took you in before she left, that’s all you can see when you swallow. ‘Be good, be good.’ It rings through your head like a heavenly command, something you promised her to soothe her worries. Even when you don’t want to be good, even when you want to kick and scream, you still long for the approval. Your mind still craves for it, and the former star setter is smart enough to use it well.
You rise to your feet. As you sit down on his lap, feeling heated at the closeness, you let out a little puff of air. You don’t tell anyone. You never tell anyone about your stepfather, and that should have been the first sign that this is wrong. You tell even less of what he does to you. But it’s so much easier to believe him when he says he means well, and you’re just so exhausted of being unable to trust.
His muscular legs spread a little to let you get situated against his chest how he likes it when it’s just you and him at home. Tooru always had a thing for cracked toys, though he didn’t quite know it before he started seeing you more than twice a week. Now though, after all the times he has let his hands explore your sticky, sweat-covered skin, he does know.
He doesn’t try to fight it anymore. Your daddy makes a little noise as he taps your shoulder. “Other way ‘round.” The order freezes you, just a momentary break in your panic to consider everything you did today. It’s instant, and if he could read your mind maybe he would laugh at how honest you are. But you hate what happens when you’re not too much, you hate how turbulent and dark his eyes get when he lines up every reason why you’ve fucked up. So when you slowly maneuver around you put your legs both sides of his, and try to ignore the way his hands settle too low on your back. “Well?” he asks, leaning forward to rest his chin on your shoulder.
His breathing on your neck is soft. His honest little girl, he wants to pinch your cheeks when you pout at him. That and— some less savory things. “I went to class, and then to get something to drink with my friends— Marie and Yuri,” you add quickly, choosing to busy your hands with the collar of his shirt as you talk. You catch his eyes only for a split second, just to check. He luckily doesn’t seem mad and even if you know he’s good at hiding it, you feel yourself relax a little.
“Then we went to the library. And then I went to go see Haruto after his class.” Your voice dims toward the end of the sentence, as your heart clenches sharply. Oikawa pulls back a little to look you in the eyes. He knows. You did leave your phone on the counter for a while this morning, that’s probably it. And it should be obvious he knows, he always finds out, but he still wants to hear you say it.
“Oh?” he says, his mouth curling just a little at the corner. Your chest feels a bit tighter, just thinking about it. You didn’t expect it to end today, that’s probably what hurts the most. When your answer doesn’t come, Tooru presses. “How is Haruto doing? Good?” Your bottom lip shakes pitifully at the innocent question, and suddenly tears are welling up in your eyes as you cling a bit closer to his collar.
“I— You-” you start, looking around the room for anything that can comfort you, “you were right. He was seeing some other woman, daddy.” The fingertips on your hips drag small figures into the flesh. “Some girl he met at work. And he told me—” you hick, with teary eyes you miss the way his eyes barely waver. They narrow, but there is no surprise there at all. “Told- me that he never really liked me. That I just held him back in everything. And that he was just dating me for fun but that I couldn’t even do that right, and—”
Your voice cracks. Without a second thought he pulls your face to his neck, holding you tight and letting you sob. The scent is so full, so comforting, and his body is warmer than yours. A perfect pane to curl up against. He pets your head, with gentle whispers and even softer kisses to the shell of your ear. Tooru runs his soft palms over your back and down your sides now, and nods.
“Shh, shh, it’s okay. Daddy’s got you.” You hate how easy it feels to slip your hands under his shirt, and rub your fingers up and down his sides for more contact. Hate how right it has become to need his touch after months and months of branding it into your skull, and how badly you need to know that he approves of you. You know you should hate even more how he tilts his head back a little and moans at your touch, but it is all you can remember to do anymore. Give into him. So when you pull back with teary eyes and a pout, you’re not at all surprised when his lips find yours. “Stay still,” he mumbles, before kissing you again, and wrapping his hands around your throat to hold you in place for him.
He kisses and sucks until he can drag his tongue over yours without problem, your mouth held open for him just right. So obedient. “Men like that still have too much freedom,” he whispers when pulling back, laying kisses down your cheek and along your jaw. “Of course he thinks you’re holding him back, you’re just a silly girl who’s still learning to be a person. You are holding him back. Didn’t you see that for yourself, huh?”
The words trickle like rain into your bones as he mouths along your ear and down your neck, sucking sharply at the skin there. You— no, you didn’t see it for yourself, but then again, you never do. “You didn’t believe daddy when I told you, but didn’t I end up being right again?” he demands, and his hands find the edge of your shirt to shove it up as you sit in his hold. Unmoving, because of course you should have listened better.
His expression pulls your fibers apart at the seams. It’s all disappointment, you hate how it caves your chest in like a hammer would. When you open your mouth to say something, tears beaded along your lashes, he sits back more to watch you. “Daddy, I…” you try, only to crack a little further. You hick as you try to hold it, but he only strokes his thumb along the soft skin of your throat, and squeezes a little harder.
“But that those guys you like seeing don’t treat you right, that they will continue to cheat on you, that’s an unchangeable fact of life. You’ll have to get used to it if you really want to date like all your friends do.” You know that. And it hurts more than any physical pain, because you’ve been here before. Different man but same situation, always. You always end up in Tooru’s arms, like it was meant to be. Like you were meant to be his, like he always tells you.
“Besides, you can’t blame them,” he continues, running the free hand over the swell of your breasts. “They are probably right about you not being able to do anything fun with them, aren’t they?” At the tilted glance he gives you, your breaking heart only shatters more, tears smearing along your cheeks. You don’t know what to do anymore. Maybe you deserve it, deserve to be cheated on. Deserve to be cussed out and talked about. Maybe Tooru was right from the start, he has always been good at reading people after all. When he calls your name again, you nod. It won’t make the pain stop, but you don’t want to think of it anymore. If you give into Tooru, he always shreds your pain at least.
At your pitiful agreement, he sighs. The brunet kisses your lips, and then the tip of your nose. “I still think you are fun though,” he admits with a soft smile, pressing the words into your hair and holding you a bit tighter. “You’ll always be daddy’s little girl to me.” The effect is instant. Such little praise, but you start crying again, relief flooding into your lungs. You shuffle a bit closer to wrap your arms around his shoulders, and let your eyes flick all over his handsome face. As much as you know he’s not your family, he feels familiar enough to cling to every word and truly believe it. He lowers his voice a little and he slips your top down your shoulder, one strap and then the other.
“And I’m already married, so it’s not like I’ll ever hurt you like that. I’ll never try to find anyone else.” You remember the guilty, almost pained expression your ex-boyfriend had this afternoon when he told you. Up until yesterday he was telling you how in love with you he was, so even now it doesn’t make sense. “Only my baby girl,” Tooru kisses your neck harder, as if sensing your distraction. The words don’t really sink in. You just feel the warmth of his lips on yours, the press of his hardening length against your center.
This is exactly what you didn’t want to do tonight. You just want to crawl into bed and fall asleep crying, but you’re too cowardly to stand up to him, even now. Tooru clicks his tongue at your silence. “Unless you don’t think I can take care of you.” His face turns vicious fast, narrowing with accusations ready on his tongue. “Would you rather I go see other women too and leave you, like your dad did?”
“No!” You find his eyes with your wide ones. “No, please don’t. Don’t leave us,” you plead, clinging so tight to his shoulders. He can’t, he can’t leave. Your mom would fall apart entirely, and maybe, so would you. He softly starts pushing you out of his lap, and panic spikes in your chest. You can only cling harder, cry and sob and lay your head against his pulse. “No, daddy, please don’t go.” He sighs at your persistence, pushing harder as your tears drip down your nose and chin, dropping to your collarbones. “No, no, you can’t go. Please don’t leave me again,” you babble, feeling his strong hands on the sides of your body. “I’m sorry, I’ll be better. I can be better, I swear.”
“How can I forgive you if you insist on defying me, huh?” Tooru asks, pulling up your face with two soft fingertips. Don’t leave, don’t leave, don’t leave, it repeats in your head over and over until you can barely hear anything else. At your heated, tear-ridden cheeks and wobbling lip, he softens his approach a little. Like the fanged monster was never there. The frown drops from his face, but there’s still a lingering pool of black in his irises. “I need to hear you say it, baby. Are you going to be good for daddy?”
“Yes,” you immediately nod, “I’ll be your good girl.” At his raised eyebrow, you stand up to unzip and shove your pants down your thighs, kicking them off. You sit back down as quickly as you can, and place your hands at the sides of his waist, to rub your hands up and down like he taught you. “I want to be the best for daddy.” Your admission is paired with a groan, as he reaches up to pull your head back with a fistful of hair. You hiss through your tears, but still melt into him as he pushes the pink muscle into your mouth, rolling his hard-on against your barely clad, slicking pussy. You moan into the kiss when he sucks at your tongue, goosebumps on your exposed skin. Tooru is always hungry for you, you can tell by the way his hands can’t hold still.
Touching your covered cunny, your chest, brushing along your face. He claimed it all for himself many times before, and tonight won’t be any different. When he pulls back for air, you watch him tug your top to sit under your tits. Your daddy unclasps your bra with one hand, as he lets out a little breath eyeing your exposed chest. “I think I’m the only man in the world who loves you enough to treat you right.” He clicks his tongue when leaning you back a bit, rubbing his thumbs over the slowly pebbling buds. “Don’t you think so?”
“Yes, only you,” you nod, “I want to be daddy’s little girl forever. Please, daddy, can I?”
He smiles as he drops his face to your chest to suck on your cute nipple, loving how you shiver. You mewl and sigh with his hard cock rolling in between your ass and pressing up against your covered clit for him to drive you crazy. “You’ll let me use you however I want to then? Let everyone know who owns this cute girl?” You nod again, tucking your bottom lip between your teeth as you thread your fingers through his hair.
The soft, fluffy tufts of freshly washed hair that show that he’s been playing again. One time he took you and your mom to see his team, every one of them no longer carrying the title of top athlete. Muscles a little less packed then at the height of their careers and movements not as immaculate as some of the footage you had watched. Still, you could tell that each of them had an immense pride in the way you looked at them with such wide, star-struck eyes.
They had been so kind and ruffled your hair, cooing about how cute and sweet you were. How lucky Tooru was. It was only when your mother had fallen asleep that he’d come into your room to fuck you stupid. They always ask about you now, his friends. You know it always makes your daddy want you even more, so it’s no wonder that he sucks hickies into your skin, right over the fading ones your now-ex left you days ago. “Such a pretty thing, you should only be marked with my mouth and my cum.” When he slips your panties to the side they are drenched already, sticking to your skin with an uncomfortable squelch each time he pushes his tip against your hole. You take it in stride though, rocking on his clothed cock so eagerly he can’t help but chuckle.
“Gonna ride me like this, baby?” he coos, and you immediately nod. ‘Please,’ you mouth over and over. You don’t even know what you’re asking for, but the bottom line is that you’d do anything for him. You kiss all over his mouth and down his neck, greedy, open-mouthed kisses along his soft skin. “Hmm,” he tilts his head to the side, mouth seemingly tilting along as he pouts, “I think you should lick daddy’s cock first.” You whine as he pulls your head back from him, eyeing you down. “Because you let someone else fuck this cunny when it should’ve been only mine.” You don’t like doing it, because he never lets you up in time. But desperate as you are, you hum just once, and let him slide you back until you can drop to the floor.
His long fingers jerk back with your hair to focus your eyes up at him. He grunts a swear when you already wait with your pretty mouth open and tongue out, twitching in anticipation. You really are such a good girl. Letting go of you for a moment, he puts his thumb into his own mouth to wet it with his spit, then rubs it over the tip of your little tongue and lowers his pants down his thighs. The fabric bunches at his knees, you slip it down a bit further to reveal more of him. And he spreads his legs more to allow you all the access you could ever want, a smirk on his pretty lips. Hard cock curved up to his stomach, beads of precum smeared across the flushed head. You whine for him, and wrap your hands around the base of it as you look up. “Get it nice and wet, princess,” he nods. “Be good for me.”
So you start gently, suckling at the tip and down with small kitten licks. Your daddy groans as he leans back into the couch, brushing his knuckles along your cheekbone. You suck the flushed head into your cheeks, hollowing them until you watch his eyes flutter, then pulling back to leave your glaze of spit on him. You leave kisses all over it and down the shaft, before taking him back into your mouth. The wetness is smeared along your lips and chin when Tooru’s fingers find their spot in your hair again and he starts pulling you closer to him. “Suck it properly,” he grunts though, “stop teasing. Take it all inside.”
He pulls you closer and inside your mouth further as your hands find his thighs, trying to steady yourself from his strong grip. You try to push your tongue down enough to let him into the back of your mouth, but the hand on your head keeps pulling until your all the way to his waist, and you swallow desperately around him at the painful stretch. He lets you up with a laboured sigh, then pulls you back down his glistening cock again. With each move he pushes up more against the back of your throat. You whine and gag around him, and he moans your name. It makes your cunny drip even more, slicking up the inside of your thighs.
With soft hands you work on the part that you’re unable to take in, twisting your wrist up and down to match the bobbing of your head. It doesn’t matter that you’ll be soar, it doesn’t matter that it’ll start stinging soon. You want him to feel good. “Just like that, baby, fuck.” Your jaw is starting to ache, but it is all worth it when he mumbles how pretty you look and how good you feel. “Does it taste good?” You hum around him as he pushes all the way back into your throat, loving how he twitches into your mouth. You can’t even taste the precum anymore, but the heaviness on your tongue is enough to convince you that everything about him is good. Your eyes flutter against the tears and you suck as hard as you can before he’s pulling you off of him all together. “Fuck, you’re such a fucking slut for my cock, aren’t you?”
He lifts you from the floor against him and waits until you’re able to place your knees around him, before putting you back on his cock. It pushes against your fluttering hole, but he doesn’t let you sink down just yet. And you can’t help it, a whine of frustration makes it’s way out of you before you can think better of it. “Daddy, please!” You barely finish the words before you’re dropping forward with whimpers and more tears clumping your lashes together, being dropped on his fat cock so suddenly your eyes roll back in your skull.
“Happy now?” he hisses when you press your cheek against his neck, whining out louder. “Can’t even let me sit you down properly.” He grabs you by the hips so tight you know the ovals will be visible in the morning, before helping you up. Your nipples brushing up against his solid chest as he brings you back down, fucking you open. Slowly at first, until you find your rhythm again and start bouncing by yourself like you should, grabbing at the short, coarser hair at the base of his skull. He lets out the prettiest sounds when you pull, when you kiss him with so many desperate kisses you feel breathless. “You just want to be a good girl, don’t you?” he mumbles, fucking up into you so that his cock presses up against your spot with each thrust.
Your mouth drops open as you work for it, sweat rolling down between your breasts and the wet pap of your skin slapping against his filling the room. As bad as it should be, you can’t help but think this is how you’re supposed to be loved. “Yes, wanna be daddy’s baby girl,” you say, voice already giving out. His warm body against yours is enough to get you coiling so tight, but then he leans you back for a better angle to rub his thumb over your puffy clit, and your toes are curling. “Ah, aah! Daddy- f-holy fuck, daddy, love you. Love your cock, loveyourcockloveyourcock,” you mewl, shaking on him as he fucks you through your orgasm, only easing up a little when you get so tight he might hurt you. When your walls flutter around him though, he increases his pace even more, resting his forehead against your shoulder.
“Fuck, gonna cum, princess,” he breathes, and you can only nod up and down through the last tremors of your own high as you squeeze around him. He cums with a choked swear and your name, spurting thick ropes of hot white into your greedy cunt. It fills you up with warmth and makes you feel so nice and full. You collapse against him with your arms still limply around his neck, and hiccup against the tears when he laves your cheek in kisses. “Good girl, such a good fucking girl for daddy.” You hum in response, and let him kiss you again.
“Look at me,” Tooru sighs against your lips, and you use the last of your energy to oblige. “You belong to daddy. And this can be our little secret.” He hums at your little smile, and kisses your nose. But when you catch his eyes, the darkness is still there. “Don’t think of leaving me again. No one else will ever love you like I do, you understand?” He pulls you a bit closer to his chest then, and you can feel the rapid patter of his heartbeat against yours. “I’ll make sure of that.”

Chapter 121 - I hope none of the birds affected by the sleeping gas died from falling from a height, especially if they fell on concrete. I don't think the gas itself would affect the birds but it also very well might since they can't handle as much due to being much smaller animals or from not being able to handle the chemicals used.
Chapter 122 - Shark's expressions are so hideous 🤢
- At least Raizel knows how to be nice by sharing food lmao. Frankenstein beaming like a proud father of a 2-year-old who's doing that is definitely not praxis though.
Chapter 124 - Shark being astounded that nobles care about innocents is amusing. I suppose that aside from the Elders, the Union members think nobles consider other species to be inferior or like cockroaches or toys.
- Although I do find Frankenstein plotting to teach Seira cooking so she can cook for Raizel when he can't extremely funny, I do also find it somewhat disturbing. He's essentially making a teen girl do child labour. Yes she and Regis are imposing on him and I do think they should be doing some manner of chores, but making her cook lavish meals? I also know she's doing it willingly but it still makes me cringe since something being one's choice doesn't negate it being bad. And yes technically she's 'of age' since she's 217, whatever that means since she's still obviously a teen compared to Raizel who actually is an adult going to school with children (which is a whole other can of worms), but aside from her position as clan leader she's very obviously not viewed as an adult by most.
Chapter 125 - On one hand I'd love to get a front row seat to the internal drama within the DA-5 lile M-21 but otoh I don't want to die a painful death or get beaten up.
- So like obviously Seira knows that Raizel and Frankenstein aren't ordinary humans unlike Regis but it is hilarious to think she just told the truth to two men she thinks are frail innocent humans.
Chapter 127 - You'd really think that the Union would be investing more into memory altering drugs but nah. The only ones they have will also fuck your brain up. Really not a good idea when most of your agents/experiments obviously have been administered aforementioned drugs. If it was only used sparingly on civilians I'd get it but it's quite widespread so...
Chapter 128 - As much as Frankenstein complains about the mess the kids make, he enjoys having them over as much as Raizel does. Soft hearted bastard.
Chapter 130 - The girls bandaging M-21 up even as Regis fights has them being smarter than like 90% of other characters in media. They're the real reason he didn't hit the dust immediately smh.
Chapter 132 - I still think the coming of age ceremony has a 50% chance of actually being them ingesting drugs that are the equivalent of stat boosting items in games but also ya know, real world drugs that fuck you up. The other 50% is just them getting much stronger after they turn 200 because their bodies are just like that and it truly is purely ceremonial and a fun tradition like children's day or girl's day or birthdays rather than something that actually affects them.
- Lol Kranz, Regis won't be leaving a corpse if he dies. Purebloods are just special like that. Can you imagine if they did see a pureblood dying? They'd regret killing them so bad.
Chapter 133 - Raizel commanding Frankenstein to stop his experiments is definitely something, like bro maybe he was figuring out electrolysis, not like you know what he was doing. Plus it's not like Frankenstein listened completely. Man has a lab under his house and it wasn't built after Raizel woke. I guess he only stopped modification experiements on others and only did checkups on himself but didn't stop experimenting for other stuff like idk, better fertiliser.
- Kinda amazing Takeo didn't get stabbed in the heart.
Chapter 137 - I know it's just because Gejutel likely explained the lord's powers to him but the idea that Regis knows what a blood field is because Raskreia does demonstrations to entertain little kids is making me giggle.
Chapter 140 - So the Union only came upon Frankenstein's research 540 years ago... that's only 40 years before Raskreia became lord. Interesting.
- Ah yes... the classic joke of Tao not teaching Takeo korean properly. It's also very amusing envisioning Tao teaching the DA-5 members korean.
- ARIS ARIS ARIS. God she looks adorbs. Also I love her referring to DA-5 as 'my children' and 'my babies'. Aris >>> all other scientists. Amd hi Yuri :)
Chapter 141 - Yuri listening to Aris insulting Crombel repeatedly,,, he probably enjoys every aspect of it from knowing she's not aware he's his underling to being able to hear someone insult Crombel.
- Once again union members don't know jack shit. They think werewolves are extinct while Maduke and Lunark are literally Elders 😭🤡😭
- Werewolves having a small population never made sense to me even with the whole thing about them not having mind control and thus keeping away from humans secretly since even civilians are stronger than humans on average but like why tf would wolves have such a low reproduction rate? And that's why I hc that 90% of them are just homosexual.
Chapter 142 - D doesn't consume your lifeforce bro. That's just the drugs causing heavy strain on the body, etc etc. The rest of your explanation was fine but talking about lifeforce or vitality makes no sense.
- We all know Yuri's smart but the fact that he tries to get Frankenstein as a subject by scouting him first is very clever. It's believable too since Frankenstein is supposed to be quite handsome.
Chapter 144 - Well we don't know of Crombel microchips his Assassination Squad but Aris canonically microchips her experiments 🤣
Chapter 147 - Okay but this panel... she's hot. I'd let her dissect me <3
- If this was some other media I'd talk about the symbolism of the attack looking like a rapier and go on for a paragraph but this is Noblesse so it's obviously just a coincidence lmao.
- "A living robot" so like... a cyborg.
Chapter 148 - Yuri getting pissed at being attacked and retaliating but pretending it was him being loyal to Aris... Love it. Also he must be really confused as to who tf Frankenstein is since as one of Crombel's most important lackeys he'd definitely know about such a powerful experiment under him if they existed and thus unlike Aris knows that he's not been sent by Crombel.
Chapter 149 - Yup def confused, especially when he realises Frankenstein's power is like Crombel's.
Chapter 150 - Girlboss,,, also it's been years and I'm still wondering... why is her outfit like that? Neon genesis evangelion girlboss does have a ring to it though.
- Ah yes, Taivra time.
Chapter 151 - Okay yeah I feel so bad for Takeo but also Aris is so good at manipulating him and and and iwi. The fact that she can cry on command though... impressive.
- "From the beginning you were an only child. That's why I got you to experiment on." Okay cool time to ignore that again for my own amusement of having all of noblesse's named modified human women be related to Takeo.
- Okay I'm obsessed with strawberry milk myself but strawberries do not taste anywhere near that good. Not even the sweet ones.
Chapter 153 - Yeah no I don't agree that Takeo losing his will to live is an insult to your comrades M-21. You could have said all that in a gentler way. Just because Takeo was luckier than you experiment wise doesn't mean you get to be so rude.
Chapter 154 - M-21 misleading Tao and Takeo to thinking he's being experimented on and then turning around to laugh at them when they find out it's just ramyeon... mood.
- I really do wonder what 12th Elder's military medals are for.
Sidenotes - Hammer being smart <3 I honestly didn't remember that part of him and I'm glad he's not given purely negative traits. He's the only reason Shark lived past 2 chapters tbh.
- Truly, D is one of the worst letters of the alphabet to have named the drugs DA-5 uses. The other bad choice would be P. On the opposite end of the spectrum, T would have been a great choice for the irony. Not that it matters since the inspiration for the drug from name to physical transformation is obviously 🍆
- Nobles being so nonchalant about murder is kinda fucked up like yeah they suck but you can't just kill them??? Lukedonia my beloved your justice system sucks. I do hc they can't just do this in Lukedonia though or to other nobles even if outside of Lukedonia, it's just that the jurisdiction of nobles doesn't apply outside of Lukedonia and they do on some level think of themselves as a superior species so they're fine with just... killing people.
- Aris obsessing over handsome men as experiments and treating them like toys but ignoring women altogether? Not experimenting on women? Gaslight gatekeep girlboss,,, a feministe of our own,,, perhaps even a... lesbienne. But yeah I just love how she acts and I love her and how she interacts with Yuri. And yeah he's cool too.
- Tbh aside from how short the skirts are and the white blazers, the Ye Ran uniform really reminds me of my own school's uniform. The colours are exactly the same. We just didn't have blazers since it was a forever summer tropical country, only jumpers for if it got too cold in the air conditioned rooms. And for some people who grow up in tropical countries... 25°C can be too cold.

The Choir: Chloral Madmen or Misguided Fools?
Spoilers for Bloodborne below for the entire post:
So, for my first lore post here, I wanted to keep it within the season. Believe it or not, the Choir is quite a scary prospect of Yharnam when you look at it in depth. First of all, what is the job of the Choir? As their set states outright: “Members of the Choir are both the highest-ranking clerics of the Healing Church, and scholars who continue the work that began at Byrgenwerth.“ This means the choir continues in Eldritch Knowledge and the pursuit of ascension in the path of Master Willem and not Laurence. The origin of the Choir is also explicitly stated with the Orphanage Key: “Key to the Orphanage, birthplace of the Choir. The Orphanage, shadowed by the Grand Cathedral, was a place of scholarship and experimentation, where young orphans became potent unseen thinkers for the Healing Church. The Choir, that would later split from the Healing Church, was a creation of the Orphanage.“ This explicitly tells us that the Choir are just Orphans who grew up and were taught to essentially experiment on people their whole lives, along with a lot of Eldritch Knowledge. If you’re wondering where the rest of the Choir is well, presumably they’re in the third floor of the Upper Cathedral Ward main building. It’s a fact that some of them are there, given that singing can be heard, arias specifically. These aria’s are supposed to be religious-like thing, given by the Rosmarinus’ description: “A special weapon used by the Choir, high-ranking members of the Healing Church. Sprays a cloud of sacred mist, created by using blood-imbued Quicksilver Bullets as a special medium. Arias are heard wherever sacred mist is seen, proving that the mist is a heavenly blessing.
‘Oh, fair maiden, why is it that you weep?’” It is seen as something of the heavens, the heavens being something the Choir, or really the church believe in. These heavens might be the Nightmare realms in the other planes of existence. The mist is made from Quicksilver Bullets, aka Mercury and Mercury in Bloodborne deserves its own post but it’s essentially Mercury gas, in which Oedon loves Mercury. The last line “Oh, fair maiden, why is it that you weep?” this maiden is the Great One below in the cave, but we’ll get to her later. Now, what do the Choir do? Well, they experiment on people to, as Fauxsefka puts it “Surpassing our own stupidity.” these experiments create Kin. These experiments are the Celestial Emissaries. And why are they called “Emissaries” well, it’s presumable they are used to contact Great Ones. How do we know this? Well, they drop communion. The boss does anyways. Meaning that they have contacted a higher truth. All the places we find communion, minus +5 vials, is in relation to some sort of religious place/person. Where communion has or could take place.
The Choir also is said to now be separated from the Healing Church itself and with this they have just become a separate name. They are still apart of it, just not the Healing Church conglomerate. This means that the Choir gets their “patients” from the Church who of course, just kidnap Yharnamites. Another faction that has separated from the church is the School of Mensis, who preform a similar function to the choir, but they do not experiment on people in the same way, their wish is though, is to reach Kos and end the Curse of Hunters. The Choir is very suspicious of the School, sending a spy, Edgar to the school in hopes of sharing secrets, though, due to the Mensis ritual, he got stuck in the Nightmare Realm. The choir’s suspicions aren’t for naught though, Mensis is doing something and killed an entire village to try and create an artificial Great One, which worked half-way.
Another aspect of the Choir to note is their clothing. Which the cap is the most interesting part. “Attire of the Choir, high-ranking members of the Healing Church. Members of the Choir are both the highest-ranking clerics of the Healing Church, and scholars who continue the work that began at Byrgenwerth. Together with the left behind Great One, they look to the skies, in search of astral signs, that may lead them to the rediscovery of true greatness.“ This states that the Choir outfits are inspired by Willem, why they choose not to see is a common concept. It’s not rare in Yharnam to cover ones eyes so that you can gain eyes on the inside and ascend. Their attire looks very special and like Choir wear, nothing special there but it is apart of the Choir.
Another interesting part of the Choir is their tools. Their tools include: Rosmarinus, Choir Bell, A Call Beyond and Augur of Ebrietas. Minus the Rosmarinus, they are all Arcane items. Meaning they are understood by few, but they also incorporate, for the lack of a better word, magic in their use. The Choir Bell is based on a larger bell that can send a sound across multiple planes of existence. This one just uses its sound to raise vigor/heal someone. A Call Beyond was created when the Healing Church failed to contact the greater Cosmos using Phantasms, but instead summoned a small exploding star. Finally, the Augur of Ebrietas uses a similar tactic to A Call Beyond. It uses a phantasm but it uses it to partially summon Ebrietas, using one of her tentacles to shoot out of ones hand. All of these weapons use the cosmos and are the latter two are considered secrets, for good reason. They do use it in combat, Yurie, Fauxsefka and Edgar all use it. Along with Micolash(Who would’ve been apart of the Choir but split in Mensis).
Another thing the Choir is continuously said to do is look at the sky or mention how the sky is one with the Cosmos. This, of course, is also something they most likely took from Willem as when we find him in Byrgenwerth, he is literally staring at the sky forever. Doing this seemingly does do something as Willem is growing some sort of Fungus on his neck which isn’t natural. He’s also lost his ability to speak in a normal human tongue. Though, the Choir either haven’t done it long enough or as expected, have just used other methods to achieve this. Of course, the experiments are these ways. Once you understand that in this world that these Gods exist, you’re either afraid or in awe. How the people of Bloodborne even figured out you can transcend is beyond me, but. They figured it out and now they wish to do so. Multiple ways of doing it have been shown in the game whether it be drinking God Blood, Water, Eating Organs or becoming too Enlightened. And all of this, as we know are connected to Aliens. Beings from Space. There is a reason the Moon Presence is called the Moon Presence after all, did she come from the Moon? Who knows, but she always descends from it, meaning she is not from Earth and comes from space. Not to mention some aspects of the Choir magic as listen above are well, space related. Stars. Yes, it is strange they just realized that the sky leads into space but it helps in the fact they most definitely worship the moon a lot. Hell, they even have statues of the Moon Presence.
These can be found in Lumenflower Gardens and most definitely suggest that the Choir worship or really appreciate her in which one makes sense over the other. With this, and other descriptions, the Choir are really obsessed with the Moon, in the same theme of the Lumenflower Gardens, the flowers open in full Moonlight. We also know the church has always participated in rituals with a Great One, mostly the Moon. So this obsession with space, Great Ones, it’s all religious. It’s sacred, holy, divine, etc... This isn’t surprising of course, all Great Ones are considered Gods. The Choir themselves have a connection to one of these Gods, Ebrietas.
Now, since we are talking about the Choir and Isz and Ebrietas are apart of the Choir, I will 1. Talk about them as if they are the same(Isz less so) and 2. Go into full detail about them.
First off we have Isz, a land that the Choir themselves consider to be in touch with the Cosmos. It is a land that is filled with Moon Larvae(Most likely where most of the ones in Upper Cathedral Ward come from) Celestial Emissaries and other Kin. It’s infested with a blue hue and arcane tree roots. This of course, going along with the themes of Bloodborne proves that well, all of this has already played out. Isz has already done what the Choir has done, the Choir is just repeating Isz. There’s even a human(or Pthumerian; Iszian?) who has become a Great One, but we’ll get to her later. But yes, this is just proof everything is repeating, like Loran and Yharnam. It is also notable that Isz houses most Great Ones we see as bosses, which brings to effect 1. These Chalices are Pocket Dimensions, Rom has no place being here. 2. These Chalices are existing so the Great Ones shall keep their forms stored so they cannot die, they can revert back to their other form and regenerate so to speak and then come back. Isz just seems to possibly be the main hub for that. Regardless, that is Isz. And relation to the Choir, well, they found the chalice and explored it and then came into contact with Ebrietas.
Now we have Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos. She is called a Great One in many places, but is she? Well, it’s confusing. All true Great Ones bleed red, like Humans. But, all Kin bleed White, Mercury. But, what does Ebrietas bleed? Red and White. What does Rom bleed? Red and White. What is Rom? A Human who has transformed into a failed Great One. From the previous paragraph, we established cycles in Bloodborne. This isn’t a joke or false, this is true. Think about it; Loran, Old Yharnam and now Yharnam all were infected by the Beast Plague. It happens again and again. Isz and now the Choir, it’s happening again and again. The Fishing Hamlet and now Mensis with Mergo, again and again. If this isn’t proof, well, I don’t know what to tell you. This is even more explicit than Dark Souls. Anyways, along with this would be another failed attempt at a Great One, right? Well, of course, why couldn’t it? Ebrietas is like Rom, she can cast her own magic and looks like a Great One. Anyways, take that theory with what you will. So, what does Ebrietas do in our current story? Well, she was found in Isz by the Choir. It’s said she was left behind, if you believe my theory you’ll know why. She’s not like the others, she cannot ascend to other planes like the others can because she’s not full, so to speak. So, she was found and luckily for the Choir, she wanted to coexist with humans. Why she does isn’t known but, she soon became a thing for the Choir to study, but presumably they did nothing bad to her and even gained a good relationship with her. She stays in a cave below the Grand Cathedral, called the “Altar of Despair” and currently she’s weeping over a dead corpse of a giant Spider.
And, this is where I deviate from current lore to cut content, well. See, that Giant Spider is Rom. It’s honestly, should I say an extremely bad mess up, like really, really bad. Because in current game, it makes no sense. This giant spider that looks like Rom is here but it’s not really Rom? And you can reverse Annalise’s death here? What? Well, if you want to know, it’s Rom and the Altar used to be below Byrgenwerth, Rom would fall and then Ebrietas would be sad her “sister” is dead. There’s also a cutscene associated with her corpse, but nevertheless, there we go. You might be asking, “Why is this important” well, there’s no good explanation for it other than to explain why it’s there when the area was being developed.
But that’s the end of the rant, so the Choir are children who have been raised to experiment on people and elevate humanity. Of course, they aren’t the only ones who do so but they definitely are making progress. If you read all the way through, thank you! Feedback and RB’s are appreciated!

I am finally (finally!!) finishing Yuri on Ice. I started watching it when it first came out, then got impatient of waiting week by week for the next episode, so I figured I would binge watch it when it finished airing. Long story short, got busy and never finished it (I did listen to the soundtrack a bunch though).
So, I figured I would finally finish this show! I’ve been a super casual fan of figure skating since the 2014 Sochi Olympics and I knew a skating anime was going to come eventually, after Hanyu won the gold, so I was really stoked to watch YOI too, haha. Life just happened and I forgot about it.
(Not going to lie, I hate watching sports, except for equestrian events and archery occasionally, but I sat down for a brief moment and that so happened to be when Yuzuru Hanyu was skating his SP. It was the most serendipitous moment of my life haha.)
(But I really do mean “super casual fan”. I never dedicated the time to learn all of the terminology and don’t expect me to name any of the jumps. This will also be a super casual live blog.)
Episodes 1-2
Episode 1
When the animation for this anime is good, it really is good. I feel like skating is a bit tricky. If it’s not done right, it’ll probably look rather choppy since so much of the sport is flowing lines and the amount of athleticism it takes to make good performances look almost effortless.
I really like the opening sequence for this reason. The transition from their child-selves to their adult-selves and the reflection of one person’s career. I feel like I have no comments regarding the opening song. It’s got a catchy beat, the animation is gorgeous, and it’s one of the more memorable anime opening songs I’ve heard. It just fits the theme of the show so well, too.
The Makkachin phone cover is so cute. The amount of detail that went into this show really astounded me. The lanyard clasps and the words on his ID? The website?
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to really hate chibi-cut-ins and those little interlude infodumps/intros that are common in anime (I think they work best in a manga medium, personally...), but that’s a personal thing.
First time I watched this, my reaction to Russian Yuri was “lol what’s your problem?? edgy little brat”. Still is haha. “I greatly object to sharing a name with a LOSER” is the vibe he gives off. He’s also lucky Yuri is a nice guy and didn’t just punch him for getting so up in his face and screaming at him.
Well, now that was just cruel. He’s having one of those “can it GET any worse” days, to which the universe answers “yes, yes it can”. I’m sure we’ve all had those days where nothing goes right and you just want to curl up and die (aka sleep) until it’s all over.
If there is one thing this show really did well as early as the first 3-4 episodes, it’s depicting Yuri’s mental state. His crushing disappointment in himself, everyone around him trying to cheer him up or talk about what comes next while he’s still just living in the moment, trying to get through the rest of this day.
Ha, my name is pretty common where I grew up, especially at the time I was going to school, and I relate so hard to turning because you hear your name only to realize no one was actually talking to you. Even worse for Yuri because it’s Viktor talking! His idol! Also, I felt it when he froze and walked away after Viktor asked if he wanted a photo with him.
Not going to screenshot everything, not going to screenshot everything...
Yeah, even in my hometown I never knew anyone who skated - ice or roller skating, aside from birthday parties. I personally have two left feet and I’m lucky I managed to stand on the ice without falling, but I never did figure out how to move. My dad had to pull me around (I was 10 or so?). But also, that scene adds some perspective to how Yuri is seen by others, which is important given we live in his head as the watchers of his story. It’s clear that his thoughts of himself don’t necessarily reflect what the public or his friends/family think of him.
A large part of the charm of this series, for me, was that Yuri feels like such a real person - him and his story, his doubts and his hopes (even his weight gain haha), are really relatable even if ice skating is so far removed from myself.
I’m only screenshot-ing dogs now.
Tiny Yuri is so cute though, with his little doggo!
Haha! And his little blush watching Viktor on tv.
Cuteness overload haha Yuko is so cute?? I love how everyone in his life is supportive in their own way.
Doggos only! Utterly adorable.
Ah, as usual, the live commentary over the skating that I half like because I have no clue what’s going on, but the other half of me just wants to listen and watch in peace lol
No comment on the double performance aside from: ALL THE BUDGET. But honestly if you’re not going to go ham on the performances (especially the best ones) in an anime about ice skating, why even bother lol.
Yuko had triplets. Triplets. I cannot even- (haha I love kids, I work with them for my job occasionally but having THREE of my own to go home would sound like a nightmare).
Doggo! But actually I just really like his apartment. I really like that they gave Viktor a standard poodle Yuri a miniature poodle because I feel like everyone including myself forgets the big floofs exist and in fact are the “standard” size, not the tiny guys.
HERE COMES THAT SCENE. The one that made the internet explode. I kind of still remember the night it aired, lol. I also can’t believe they got the green-light for that, haha.
I also love the social media posts in the ending. Social media in anime is always fun, it’s such a huge part of our lives nowadays. The little glimpses into the lives of the other skaters is not only fun, but makes them feel a little more alive, especially because they won’t be the center of the story.
Episode 2
I promise this one isn’t going to be as long.
This “farewell” gives me live action drama vibes. It’s hilarious.
Under the table! I can’t with the adorableness. Also, now I’m hungry.
I-Is it ok for him to be scratching the tatami like that.
It took me forever to figure out that the random English is likely because they’re supposed to be speaking in English to each other lol. It just makes sense.
At least one of the kids learned their lesson and asked before uploading haha.
Viktor not so subtly trying to find out if he likes or is dating anyone is hilarious.
And Russian Yuri has a cat! I forgot about that. He does give off alley cat vibes.
Yuri, you literally just had an “ah-ha!” moment, but then couldn’t resist posting a pic of your new buy on social media lol...
I feel like people either like him or hate him (Russian Yuri), but to me he’s just such a teenage boy. They can be assholes sometimes, you know?? And hopefully they grow out of it haha.
I love Yuri’s smirk haha. Yup, don’t engage. He’s an angry 15 year old, you’re a grown ass adult. It’s really hard to forget age differences in anime but what self-respecting adult is actually going to have it out with a teenager being unreasonable?
I also totally forgot they nicknamed Russian Yuri, Yurio in the actual show lol.
OUCH that self-doubt.
The Makkachin tissue box...
Anyways, the first unofficial competition of the show starts next episode! I did see that one when it came out, but I think I stopped after episode 3...

this is what happens if you get into yuris character file and decode the base64 code in it. DDLC
If you found this note in a small wooden box with a heart on it, then *congratulations!* You are probably the first person to read this. I didn’t really plan on sharing this with anybody, but for some reason I think it’s exciting that somebody out there, a complete stranger, will come across this note and read my story. Someone I will never meet, sharing such a personal bond with me. I’m fascinated that either one of us could die - even as soon as tomorrow - with the other being completely clueless to the fact. To you, my entire life is within this note, and so I will live for as long as your memory can carry me. Writing this, I’m wondering if that makes you feel fascinated or violated. It’s so exciting.
I’m sorry if my story is a bit disorganized, but I’d like to get it down while it’s still fresh on my mind. First, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a first-year college girl and have led, by most standards, a pretty unspectacular life up to this point. I grew up in an upper-middle class school district with decent teachers. I did track in middle school and some of high school, and I’ve had two boyfriends. Now, I’m studying for a career in occupational therapy, because I feel the field is undervalued and provides tremendous help to people.
I’m giving you this background because there’s this strange misconception that if you want to kill someone then you’re either sick in the head or you have anger management issues. But, it’s very apparent that I don’t fall into either of those categories. It’s true that most murder cases are in a domestic setting where someone loses control of their anger or something. But the thing is that those people kill under provocation, whether by a singular outburst or by a slow-burning series of misfortunes. Those people kill because in that brief moment, they want a specific someone, for a specific reason, to be hurt or killed.
What I’m talking about is wanting to kill someone for no specific reason, maybe just to see what it’s like. Do you ever get that? I wouldn’t know how others feel, because it’s not something I ever talked about. But I’ve been curious about what it’s like to kill someone ever since I was a child. Not killing anyone in particular, just a random person. It’s always just fascinated me that if I put my mind to it, I can approach anyone, and in five minutes they would be completely gone from this Earth.
But I’ve never done so for a couple of reasons. First of all, for most of my life it was logistically impossible for me to do it without getting caught. I only got my driver’s license a couple years ago, and even then, the preparations would take too much time, definitely stirring suspicion. It was only once I started college that I realized this was no longer an obstacle.
Another reason is that I was afraid of causing harm to too many people. You might laugh reading that, at how hypocritical it sounds. But, let me explain: Why should I feel bad about killing someone if they’re too dead to care? Who would I be feeling bad for? Contrarily, it’s the grief of the living that I’d rather not be responsible for. Because of this, I knew it would take a good deal of research before finding a suitable person to kill, and I’ve never had the means to do so - again, until I started college.
And now, having just experienced it, I’d say it was pretty satisfying in the end. Something I would try again? Probably not, since my curiosity has already been satisfied. It really wouldn’t be the same a second time.
But anyway, if by any chance you’re also curious to kill someone, then you’re welcome to take notes. :)
***
I started a hobby of people-watching soon after I entered college. People-watching is interesting to me because it’s taking one of the infinite extras in your life and turning them into a main character - without them knowing, of course. It’s so easy to forget that every single one of the hundreds of strangers you pass every day has a life story as deep and complex as your own. One thing I noticed about people-watching, and wanting to kill someone, is that you are in more constant awareness of this. When I find a person to observe, their story slowly becomes more clear to me over time, gaps being filled - it really is amazing.
I usually went to grocery stores on weekends and looked around in people’s shopping carts. If I saw something that interested me, I decided to observe the person for a little bit. Of course, since my goal was to find someone to kill, I ruled out anyone who had children or a partner with them. Wedding rings were another tell-tale sign.
So maybe once a weekend, I would find someone who fit my criteria, at which point I would follow them home and note their address. From there, it became incredibly easy to investigate a little bit more; most people have normal work hours, meaning I could spend afternoons going through their mail or looking around in their house. I repeated this with several people (and had one close call), but for varying reasons I didn’t really feel satisfied enough with them to kill any of them.
I started getting a bit impatient and thought that I might just settle for killing the man named Devon, even though I didn’t really want to kill someone wealthy. But then, I came across someone new - someone who just, felt perfect. The feeling only strengthened as I investigated her further, and I knew that she would be the one for me to kill.
A young-looking woman I met at the grocery store, as per usual. She was doing some light shopping with a basket. Her hair was wavy and dark brown, sitting inelegantly on her slumped shoulders and surrounding her tired-looking face. Her bare fingers told me she might be single, but beyond that, my gut was almost certain of it. This woman just seemed so…plain, really. I guess I felt a greater acuity for the personal lives of strangers ever since I started my people-watching. But the way she carried herself, I just got the feeling that if she suddenly died, nobody would be around to miss her. Of course, I still wanted to investigate her a bit.
I followed my usual routine of checking out her place during her work hours. I learned immediately from her mail that her name is Linda Watson. Linda lived in a quiet apartment complex, her mailbox easily accessible right outside her door. Instead of quickly shuffling through it, I decided I could take her mail back to my dorm and return it before she was finished with work (she only lived about 15 minutes from me). I did some research and learned how to open and reseal the envelopes without damaging them, which took some technique along with a hair dryer, rubbing alcohol, and Q-tips.
This made it easy for me to learn a little more about her. Linda was a 33-year-old woman who worked for a small accounting firm - I’d rather not name the place outright. Her birthday was December 11th which, coincidentally, was approaching in a couple weeks. I also managed to find a bank statement that gave me a nice look into how she’s been spending her past month. It was at this point I realized that my assessment of Linda Watson as an extremely plain woman was pretty spot-on, because there was absolutely nothing interesting on the list. A trip to Old Navy, a bunch of Starbucks, something about $40 from Amazon - no restaurants, no movies, nothing that would really imply she was spending any time socializing. That aside, I also found a cooking magazine, so I guess she was into cooking.
Apartments are harder to break into than suburban homes, because there are fewer doors and windows. Every time I got Linda’s mail, I would check the front door and the windows in the back, but they were always locked. This was a bit frustrating because I was really interested in getting into her house. So, I came up with a sort of plan that I thought would be fun, even if it didn’t work.
Last Saturday, I visited Linda Watson’s apartment complex as I would on weekdays. The difference is that this time, I wanted her to be home. I thought it would be interesting to have a conversation with her. If I got lucky, I could take advantage of the situation to discreetly unlock a window from the inside. So, I walked up to her door wearing nothing warmer than a light sweatshirt, and knocked. The adrenaline rush was crazy. I was afraid I might screw something up.
The door opened, and in front of me stood Linda Watson, exactly as I remembered her from the grocery store. It was at that moment, making eye contact for the first time, that I realized I was running the risk of beginning to care about this person. As selfish as it is, I couldn’t kill a person I cared about, even if it’s a 33-year-old woman standing in a doorway with a slightly perplexed look on her face, giving me a reserved “Hello.”
Arms crossed from the cold, I shyly returned Linda’s greeting. I explained that I was walking my dog near the woodsy area behind the back of her apartment, and that he had gotten away. I had been looking for my dog for an hour and was wondering if Linda may have seen him roaming about. Of course, Linda sympathetically apologized for the situation and that she couldn’t be of use to me, but that she would keep an eye out. I wore a defeated expression in response, apologizing in return for troubling her.
It somehow went exactly as I had hoped - Linda invited me inside to warm up a bit with some coffee. I outwardly hesitated before accepting her offer, although on the inside I wanted to jump through the door and hug her for cooperating so well. And that’s how Linda Watson ended up with a 19-year-old girl next to her on the couch - who knows if it was just a nice gesture or if she really has no better way to spend her Saturdays than talking to some kid she just met (who happens to be interested in killing her).
Linda soon learned that my name is Maria (it’s not) and that I attend the nearby community college (I don’t). I was a little bit nervous that she would ask me too many questions because I didn’t have many answers prepared. I was able to steer the conversation toward her, and she was pretty happy to talk. I asked what she does, and she told me that she works for the accounting firm I already knew about, communicating with outside clients and keeping records. I told her I was pretty nervous about growing up. She told me to enjoy college and to make lots of friends because there’s less opportunity once you start working.
When I asked if she was married or anything, she laughed. Of course I knew she wasn’t married, but I wanted to hear more about her love life. She said that she doesn’t currently have a boyfriend (I guess she’s at least had boyfriends, but who knows how long ago). When I asked her about kids, she said she doesn’t want them until she gets a better job. On top of that, she told me that her family has a history of some genetic diseases such as arthritis and depression, which she is afraid to give to her kids.
It’s funny that she mentioned that because when I asked to use her bathroom, I noticed a tube of prescription pills on the sink. It was labelled duloxetine, which I looked up later and discovered that it is in fact an antidepressant. I had a joking thought that maybe by killing her I’d be doing her a favor, but quickly decided I was a terrible person for coming up with that.
The rest of the visit was pretty dull. We talked about food and some other mundane stuff before I eventually made an excuse to leave. I didn’t get the chance to unlock a window or anything like that, but I didn’t really feel the need to go through her apartment anymore. As early as the drive back to my dorm, I was already thinking about how I would best like to kill Linda Watson.
The choice was between effectiveness and fun. I decided to go with fun, because it would be way more satisfying to kind of dissect her as I killed her, rather than just getting it done and calling it a day. Fast-forward one week to December 13th - today, actually. Linda Watson turned 34 two days ago. I made a fun little wager with myself where if Linda was spending her birthday weekend alone, I would pay her a visit and kill her. If she was out or had company, I would stop by next week or something instead.
So this morning, I drove over to Lowe’s and bought an axe. Again, I expect you’re laughing, but that’s also kind of the point. An axe is so kind of cliche and a “movies” thing that I actually thought it would be the most fun. Swinging it at someone and everything, it’s a really entertaining image. They actually had a bunch of different axes, so I picked one that had a good weight but was still light enough for me to swing quickly.
The drive after getting the axe was when the adrenaline really picked up. All that kept going through my mind on the way over was “Wow, I’m really doing this.” Not in a bad way, just like a surprised this is real life sort of thing. I also got this strange rush of recollections of the time I spent with Linda. It was like my life was flashing before my eyes, except it was just the rather mundane hour I spent with Linda - like snippets of our conversations, the sound of her laugh, her facial expressions and stuff.
I also wondered to myself what the crazy serial killers would be feeling at a time like this - schizophrenic delusions? Sexual buildup? I have no idea, but what I felt was kind of like ridiculously alert and numb in the senses at the same time, however that’s possible.
Before getting out of the car, I had the sense to stuff the axe into my backpack to look a little less ridiculous walking across the parking lot. The handle was sticking out, but that didn’t really matter. At that point my heart was pounding so hard I could feel my throat throbbing. I tried controlling my breath, but it’s really hard to not breathe fast when your heart is pounding like that.
I reached Linda Watson’s door and quietly put my ear to it after setting down my backpack. I heard a voice that wasn’t hers - company? No, it was just the TV, mixed with her occasional tapping footsteps behind the door. I actually kept my ear there for a really freaking long time, because I wanted to make absolutely sure nobody was over. Probably 10 minutes of that and a lot of reassuring myself convinced me.
I quietly opened my backpack zipper and held the axe in my hands. My fiercely shaking hands. What the hell was this kind of reaction that my body was making? I told my body to shut up, that it’s no big deal, but of course it wouldn’t listen. It was actually bizarre how much my hands were shaking. It must be the adrenaline buildup. I rolled my eyes at myself and got my hand to rest on the doorknob. If it’s locked, I’ll knock, it’ll be basically the same. I took a deep breath and forced my muscles into action.
I swiftly turned the doorknob. Not locked. In one movement, I opened up the door and slipped inside. Linda Watson, just a few steps away into the kitchen. I see - she was in the middle of cooking. She immediately jumped and turned around, startled. I expected that. Quickly, I let go of the doorknob and adjusted the axe into both hands. In the following split second, I realized that she would probably start to make a lot of noise. Looking back, I’m an idiot for not considering that. Just as Linda’s mouth opened to speak - maybe even started speaking - I forcefully swung my axe into the side of her head.
But, my axe was facing backwards. I hit her with the blunt end of the blade. I actually did this on purpose, because in that split second I somehow decided that it would be the way to keep her noise to a minimum. It actually worked. I felt barely any resistance in the swing as I collided with her head, knocking it clean aside. Linda’s half-formed syllable came out as a kind of weird grunt - a noisy exhalation is probably the best I could describe it. That happened at the same time as her head smacked into the cabinet from the force, and she fell backwards without any ability to keep her balance. I didn’t hesitate at all to keep swinging at her while she was half lying down on the ground, this time my axe facing the right way. I didn’t really know where to swing, so I kind of just started hacking at her collarbone area and chest. It didn’t feel like the axe was going too deep, but there was a nice “thunk” sort of sound every time the axe embedded into her. I even felt the soft sinking sensation ripple into my hands, like the axe was a kind of physical extension of my sense of touch.
On a whim, I swung once at her throat, but most of the swing actually missed and I hit the floor by accident, causing a loud, dull whack to resonate through the apartment. I didn’t have time to think about it. I swung again with better aim and got a more centered hit, feeling the bone or cartilage or whatever is in there, so I must have split it open. Right after that, I decided to swing at her face, and I got this diagonal cut along her nose and mouth, which felt pretty good so I did it once more.
I finally briefly stopped to survey the damage. Linda was bleeding ridiculously. The blood was kind of coming out in waves, in sync with her beating heart, probably. It was pooling all around her and riding along the cracks between the tiles. Her light blue shirt was all torn up and stained dark, kind of mixed with a fleshy mess around her chest. It was all just glistening red. Her face wasn’t much better, covered in dripping red at this point, and her lip was kind of hanging off, revealing red-stained teeth in a really weird way, like a zombie or something.
Linda wasn’t dead, though. Her limbs were kind of weakly, aimlessly trying to move while she was stuck on her back. More than anything, she reminded me of a bug that you crush but it still pitifully moves its legs around before it dies completely. That’s basically what she was doing. But I didn’t know how long it would take for her to die, or what kind of condition she was in. I ended up grabbing a big knife that was on the counter that she was using to cut up meat. Trying to step around the blood, I reached down and carved into the upper half of her neck, trying to sort of saw it from the left side to the right. It was a little awkward because the area was so soft and squished around the knife as I was cutting. But the sensation was completely different from the axe. It actually felt like I was cutting a tough piece of raw meat (which I guess technically, I was).
The blood started pouring out, and I hoped that I severed the most major arteries in there. It must have worked, because after a moment Linda’s limb movements kind of just had the strength drained from them, soon resting still on the floor. I took a few seconds to catch my breath. No time to stick around and think about the experience. I shook the knife blade through a dirty pan in the sink to clean off the blood, then threw the knife into my backpack. I did the same with the axe. I also took her laptop that was sitting on the counter. It had some recipe open for veal and mushrooms. I didn’t really take the laptop to use it, since I have a perfectly good one myself that I got for college. I just wanted to look through it for fun.
I finally went outside and closed the door behind me. I got some blood on my sweater and jeans. But funnily enough, I actually anticipated that so I wore dark colors.
The drive back to my dorm was just a constant replaying of the experience in my head. I guess that’s still kind of happening even now, actually. But it felt pretty nice. Linda Watson is dead. I kind of let the weight of that sink in. The sensation of having completely removed a human life from existence. It’s crazy. I don’t know how else to describe it.
Anyway, I threw the axe and knife into a dumpster on campus, which I think is picked up every Monday, so they’ll be gone by then. My roommate goes home on the weekends, so I have the dorm to myself today. It gave me the chance to go through Linda’s website history. I was right in thinking that’s where her deepest secrets would lie.
There was actually a lot of dirty stuff, like the names of websites for porn videos and stories and things like that. Same with her searches. A lot of the websites were boring, like cooking websites and recipes, and game websites like Bejeweled and stuff. I eventually got to the “one week ago” section of her history, and it gave me a chill.
There were a whole bunch of searches like “methods of suicide”, “how to tie a noose”, “dangerous household chemicals”, “carbon monoxide poisoning” - like a lot of them. She was probably ready to write a book on suicide after all the research she did. So I guess Linda was contemplating suicide. I wonder if it was influenced by her depression.
The irony is actually striking. Maybe Linda was going to die anyway. Or maybe she couldn’t find the courage to do it. If that were the case, I almost literally gave her a birthday present by killing her. That’s actually really comical in a messed-up way, and it leaves a weird taste in my mouth. The part I don’t get is that I didn’t see any of those searches up until the “one week ago” section, nothing more recent than that.
I ended up throwing the laptop in the dumpster with the other stuff. It’s been a few hours since then, so I’ve had some time to calmly think about everything. Like I said, it was pretty satisfying and I’m glad I finally got around to it. I feel like I can finally cross it off my bucket list, or like I’m tying loose ends with myself. This is probably the first and last time I’ll write the name Linda Watson - it’s back to living a normal college life, except I might do some people-watching every now and then because it’s definitely fun and interesting.
But I’ll always wonder how many people there are like me. I’m sure there has to be a lot, because there is just nothing strange about it to me, being curious about killing someone. Sadly, it’s something that people can’t exactly just talk about, so I guess I’ll never know. I’m sure that anyone would just lie about it even if you asked them. But you can’t help but wonder if that person in the grocery store, who stares at you as you pass by, might be considering what it would be like to kill you. If I could, I would tell them all about it, so they could decide for themselves. But who knows, maybe I got lucky, and that person is you. I actually really, really hope so.

Note
would you be willing to give a quick intro to the animes youve been watching/blogging lately?
I suck at that, but I'll do my best 😂
1. The Promised Neverland, Season 2 - Emma, Ray and the other children escape the Grace Field orphanage and aim to find William Minerva. Before they can set out, they are attacked by monsters and demons, only to be saved by 2 mysterious people. Who are they, and why would they risk saving Emma and co.?
2. Re:Zero, Season 2 Cour 2 - Pain. After several gruesome, futile deaths, Subaru learns he can rely on friends for help. This time, he'll save Emilia and the girls at the mansion before it's too late.
3. Project Scard - ????? Honestly I'm not sure rn? Surface level is Pretty Boys the Series but it's more than just fanservice for people who love 2D men. MC is saved by the Hero of the town, only to die shortly after giving the MC his powers and telling him to protect everything in his stead. MC works together with the Hero's allies to do so.
*If you watched K project, then Project Scard is by the same animation studio. The anime after K have been straight misses imo, with pretty animation and dry af plot (*cough*Hand Shakers and W'z*cough*). but it seems interesting compared to the last 2 anime from GoxHands, so I'll see what happens here.
4. I'm a Spider, So What? - MC is a highschool student who gets killed in an explosion along with her classmates and teacher. She is reincarnated into a spider (while her class is reincarnated as human beings/elves etc.) and she is determined to survive by learning how to live as a spider.
*I think out of all my years of watching anime, this is like my 2nd-3rd isekai (I just don't like the genre) my best friend recommended it to me, and I'm glad he did cuz it's hilarious. The MC is voiced by Aoi Yuuki(?) Who voices tatsumaki from OPM and Tanya from Youjo Senki. She makes it really enjoyable with her expressive voice acting.
5. Skate Leading Stars - If you've been on my blog for a bit, this was one of the first anime I've been blogging about this year. Skate Leading Stars features a 16(assuming, since he's a first year in high school and in Japan that's around 15-16 y/o) year old boy named Maeshima Kensei who quit figure skating after losing to his rival when was, like, 10. He finds out his rival is also quiting figure skating, but is moving to a similar sport - Skate Leading. (Basically, Skate Leading is Figure Skating, so imagine Sychronized Swimming, but on the ice). Coincidentally (or probably not) he runs into a guy who pushes him back into skating for his own personal vendetta, and also for the chance for Maeshima to face his rival one the ice again. After joining his high school's Skate Leading team, he works with them to go to Nationals and compete with his rival's Skate Leading Team. There are 2 episodes out now, so you can watch them to get a better feel for it compared to all the other anime with 1 ep out.
*before you ask, no this is not like Yuri on Ice.
6. Sk8 the Infinity - Not entirely sure rn, but MC is Reki Kyan who enjoys Skating (not ice skating, the skateboard. Tony Hawk things). By chance he runs into the transfer student Langa Hasegawa, who came from Canada (🇨🇦 intensifies) outside of class. By chance, Langa is hired by Reki's boss, and his first job is to deliver a skateboard to a customer at the (currently) most famous rink in Okinawa. There Langa experiences the sport of Skating and thus start Reki and Langa's adventures as idiots skaters.
*honestly I like this anime the most this season. It's an anime original, so no manga. The animation is smooth, the main characters are expressive and enjoyable, and the one of antagonists are voiced by Dio. The plot seems light hearted so far (if you ignore the burning skateboards and misogynistic insults from one of the antagonists) so if you don't want anything too depressing, this is a great sports anime to dive into.
7. 2.43 Seiin Volley Ball Club - Explanatory in the name: it's a volleyball sports anime. Based on the first episode there's a more mature vibe to it compared to the other sports anime out rn as, for example, it mentions a teammate attempting suicide because of one of the MCs. If you want to compare its vibes to another sports anime, I think you'll like this one if you enjoyed Run With the Wind, or better yet Stars Align. I think Dive!! and Tsurune were on the serious end of sports anime, too, but not like Stars Align. The manga for this series is 4 chapters long, and it's supposed to be about MC and his childhood friend aiming for Nationals with their volleyball team, iirc.
8. Attack on Titan Final Season - Idrk know how to explain it so far, just know that it's crazy and confusing for me even though I read the manga. Eren goes to another country during a 4 year timeskip all in the name of seeking revenge and starting a war. Mood
9. World Trigger Season 2 - Season 1 was like, 5-7 years ago lmao. From the top of my head, I think season 2 will cover rank wars to determine what teams are eligible for expedition to other worlds. Mikumo is determined to get on the expedition squad with his team.
10. Jujutsu Kaisen, Season 1 Cour 2 - Honestly I skipped like 6 episodes because I was preparing for Christmas/job so I don’t remember where the anime is at right now. I think it’s the Tokyo Jujutsu School vs. Kyoto Jujutsu School..with other things (I don’t reread manga, so I forgot what happened this entire arc)
That's it! Hope this helped anon
Edit: Totally forgot until it popped up, but I’m watching Kemono Jihen! It’s about a boy who’s half human/half beast and his bullied by his cousin and aunt because of his biracial nature. He’s taken in by someone who is a tanuki, and they start the adventure to find his parents/origins

sorry for this ask but i wanted to tell you that i'm really enjoying your makarov fic and how he seems like this character you can empathize with despite how awful he is. here's me hoping you can update soon but i'll be happy whenever you can do it :) reading your other posts i was wondering about the reader's abduction and how did he react to the news. having that bastard come to my rescue is really appealing to me so i just had to ask. hope you're doing okay and take care.
Aaah, sorry for the late reply! A lot has been going on in my life atm and most of it not very pretty but hey, thanks for your ask 💗💗💗 I hope I can go back to that fic soon orz.
I know Vladimir is a terrible man and his actions can't be justified but I wanted to do a different take on him. Rather than portraying him as a s.o.b. right off the bat, maybe make it something gradual :'v I don't think he was a goody two shoes but I don't want him to be a cartoonish villain either. So in a way I want to make it clear that he's not a good man because he doesn't act like one, and does very questionable things, but I want to show that he may have some moments in which some shred of humanity surfaces and he's not just a monster.
Beware that the rest of this post contains mature themes and deals with the topic of forced pr0st1tuti0n. You're all warned.
Anyways, in response to your ask, concerning Rea-tan's abduction... I haven't really decided on the details yet, but she was supposed to be abducted in order to be sold into a pr0st1tuti0n ring. According to the information Shepherd has gathered on Vladimir's past, it's known that the latter was involved in several instances of human trafficking (possibly before and after joining the Ultranationalists, I don't think it was ever specified). Mostly women from the poorest parts of Eastern Europe were targeted and convinced with lies of well paid jobs to leave their country and travel abroad. It's said that Vladimir worked on the logistics behind it, transporting these people. I think it's unlikely he looked for and targeted these individuals in a vulnerable economic situation himself. That sounds like the kind of thing others would do. At least in my fic, he only dealt with the transportation.
And I say this as someone who lives near the border. I've heard stories of women transported under fake IDs (illegal immigrants of poor background, brought with promises of well paid jobs as well, but we know these are all lies). There was even a scandal in my town because the (former) mayor and other authorities were involved in these illegal activities and used their position of power to run those operations. Heck I even know the story of someone who used to work for a bus company and how they brought in people who wanted to cross the border, making them pose as tourists to the immigration department. There was a logistic behind it too, and a lot of money involved.
All in all, Vladimir would have a cynical view about it. He's not necessarily proud of the crap he does but neither does it keep him awake at night. It is what it is. He'd think that if those people were stupid enough to believe in those lies, that's their problem.
And though it isn't the case of Rea-tan (it was actually the fault of someone else) maybe it's the first time he actually worries because he knows damn well what happens to those girls. He knows that she's going to end up in the lap of an old depraved man, drugged and forced to do all kinds of nasty things. She's going to be beaten, raped, filmed, and if she's lucky maybe she'll die soon and not suffer anymore.
He's not unaware of the obscene fate that awaits these blissfully ignorant girls, but it wasn't his problem at the time. However, Rea-tan is the granddaughter of his boss's friend and her grandma begged him, crying non-stop, to bring her home. It's his freaking problem now because he made a promise to them and he can't fail. If he shows Zakhaev he's incapable of handling something like this and disappoints him, then he's going to lose a chance to prove himself (keep in mind that I'm talking late 90s and Vladimir had recently gained Zakhaev's favor). Still, deep down he actually likes Rea-tan and doesn't want her to be hurt or traumatized by the aberrant perversions of others. He wants to bring her home to her family and then he'll ask Yuri to help him tie up loose ends.
Rea-tan didn't fall for those scams, even though on a few occasions she told her family her classmates talked about these 'modeling' agencies that were recruiting young girls outside her school. Her grandparents dismissed it as something stupid and that she shouldn't pay any attention to it, that it was all a scam though they wouldn't tell her exactly why— maybe to spare her from some nasty details. Vladimir, however, was more crude and told her the truth. That it was all a lie to ensnare young clueless girls and then take them away to sell them into sexual slavery. She was shocked and disgusted, but nonetheless thankful that he was sincere with her.
But yeah, I would say that Vladimir is an unlikely hero :v
Thanks and you too take care! ;u;

The Snow in November
Idol: Hyewon (IZ*ONE)
Prompt: an izone hyewon’s angsty fluff scenario? where they take a break, and she thinks reader is trying to move on with someone else, but they get back together in the end? srry if it’s too much :|
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: I hope you all enjoy!
♡ Tip Jar♡
It had been a long time since Hyewon had felt so cold. With her heart raw on her sleeve, she walked without destination, shivering in her jacket and staring at her boots. When had the world started spinning without her?
“I think we should take a break.” Your voice echoed in her mind, but despite the stinging behind her eyelids, she couldn’t bring herself to cry. She just continued to walk, playing that morning back in her head over and over.
“What are you saying?”
“You know things have been weird lately, Hyewon. We both have a lot going on. Don’t make this harder than it has to be, please.”
Was this her fault? Not entirely. Just like you’d said, you had things going on in your life. But she couldn’t help but feel that she was the one who’d let the relationship fall apart. She’d been working too much, too many hours, not leaving enough time for you. She could have stopped this. Prevented it before it happened. But she didn’t.
Something wet hit her nose and she looked up, glancing around at her surroundings. Somehow, she’d ended up in the tiny park where her first kiss with you had taken place. The cold winter wind sucked the breath out of her and her feet moved on their own, moving her over to that old swing set beneath the tall, bare trees as it began to snow. White flakes floated slowly to the ground as she touched the cold metal of the swing and sat down, closing her eyes. That day was still so clear in her mind.
“I want to kiss you.” It had taken all her courage just to say those words, and she had been relieved when you laughed, reaching over to take her hand and turning your swing towards hers.
“Then kiss me, silly.” The moon and stars had been covered by the clouds and your lips were cold to the touch, but Hyewon’s pounding heart had made her forget the cold. And when she’d pulled away, she’d looked up to see the November snow falling down as her breath curled away in the wind.
“I think this is a good sign.”
You’d laughed and leaned in again, stealing another kiss and making her heart jump in her chest. “I think it is too.”
When she opened her eyes, the tears finally came, pouring over and burning her cheeks as she looked up at the cloudy sky. Her throat hurt from trying to conceal the sobs, the tears left icy tracks on her face, and the cold of the swing stung her hands, but she couldn’t stop. She couldn’t get up.
So she just sat on the swing and sobbed, letting the November snow caress her face and bring back the memories of her first snow with you.
-
It was strange, to be single again. Even though she knew you wouldn’t be there, she found herself turning to her side, missing your warmth. Her finger hovered over your name in her phone after a long day, and when she’d find something funny, she’d go to send it to you, only to remember: you weren’t hers anymore.
Her friends brought her out to bars and tried to cheer her up, but everywhere reminded her of you. The two of you had been together so long that she’d gone almost everywhere with you. Still, she forced a smile for her friends, assured them that she was okay.
Because she would be. Eventually.
-
At night, she laid alone and wondered. Had she done things differently, would she still be with you? She had too many regrets to count, and they often came back to her when she was alone in the dark, her bed cold and empty. You often appeared in her dreams, and there, just for a little while, she could be happy again.
Her alarm clock sent her back to wondering as she left her dreams behind and got up, her mind swirling with the possibilities.
You had said this was a break. Not a break-up. But she wasn’t sure she really knew the difference.
-
December was hard. Her friends knew this and kept her close, but that couldn’t stop her from remembering the times she’d spent the holiday with you. She would often stop by something in the shop, thinking that it would be a good gift for you, before remembering.
Every single one of the girls tried their best to help her, in their own ways. Eunbi and Chaeyeon were always there when she needed a good cry, while Yena and Yuri were always there to make her smile. Sakura cooked for her and played video games with her, and Minju acted even more silly than usual to make her laugh. Even Chaewon, ever cool and a little bit distant, would wrap her up in a hug if she needed it.
She still thought about you, she couldn’t help it. But they helped make the holidays a little bit more bearable.
-
January was easier, just because she could throw herself into her work. She worked so hard she felt she might die, but she couldn’t stop. If she stopped, she would think about you. And she couldn’t allow herself to do that.
-
February broke her all over again. She had thought she would be okay. She’d gotten better in January, had managed to keep her mind off of you, and had even felt happy.
Then, on Valentines Day, she walked past your favorite restaurant and looked inside the window to see you sitting there with another girl. The sight stopped her in her tracks, gluing her to the sidewalk as she watched you laugh at something the girl across from you said.
“Hyewon?” Eunbi turned around, raising her eyebrows in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
She couldn’t answer. She couldn’t even breathe as Eunbi walked over to take her hand, looking concerned. Then, you turned your head, and she couldn’t think. So she ran, pulling Eunbi along, her heart pounding painfully inside her chest. She ran and ran until Eunbi grabbed her shoulders and stopped her, spinning her around to face her.
“Hyewon, stop. Where are you going?”
Hyewon gasped for air, then collapsed into Eunbi’s arms, sobbing so hard it felt like her lungs might explode. The older girl wrapped her arms around her tight, patting her head and rubbing her back as she tried to calm her down.
Her voice broke as she spoke, her face buried in Eunbi’s shoulder. “I don’t know. I don’t know what to do with myself.”
“It’ll be okay,” Eunbi assured her, but Hyewon couldn’t bring herself to believe it.
You had moved on, leaving her behind. And she had no idea how to live without you.
-
March went by in a blur of crying and working. Sometimes, she looked at your social media, just to see what you were doing, before she would remind herself that she shouldn’t do that. Seeing photos of you and this girl gutted her, but she couldn’t stop looking. She wasn’t sure why. Morbid fascination, maybe?
It snowed a lot in March, and she stayed inside as much as she could, cursing the weather. The snowflakes reminded her too much of you, and she hated them for it.
-
In April, you contacted her. When she picked up her phone only to see your name on the screen, she froze. She didn’t know what to do.
-Hey, how have you been?
Half of her was still angry, raw, and upset, telling her to ignore the text, although she truly couldn’t stay angry at you. The other half of her begged her to open the message and text you back, reminding her how much she missed you.
It took her a week to reply.
-I’ve been okay. How about you?
That was a lie. But she didn’t want to admit how much you’d hurt her, not when you were now living happily. Not when you’d already moved on.
-I’ve been doing well. I was wondering if we could meet up sometime?
Now, after so many months, you wanted to talk again? About what? Her broken heart was still hurting, and she hadn’t stopped dreaming of you. She wasn’t ready for this.
-I’m busy now. But I’ll text you when I’m ready.
-Okay.
-
It wasn’t until May that she decided she was ready. At one time, the little cafe that the two of you agreed to meet up at had held a special place in her heart. Now, it just reminded her of painful memories as an awkward silence hung in the air. It had never been awkward between the two of you before, and she hated it.
“A lot of things have happened since we last talked,” you said, stirring your drink in slow circles. “I worked out a lot of things, I mean.”
“That’s good. So did I.” It wasn’t really a lie. Hyewon had picked out all the things that had caused the relationship to go awry on her part.
“You’ve been working a lot.”
“Yeah. I didn’t really have anything else to do.” She let out a laugh that she hoped didn’t sound too bitter. “So I threw myself into my work.”
“I can understand that.”
Silence hung in the air once again, and it made Hyewon want to scream. There were a thousand questions on her tongue that she wanted to ask you, things that she wanted to know, but she didn’t know if she could ask them. She didn’t know if she could keep from crying if she heard your answers.
“Has anything else changed since we last talked?” She asked instead, going a safer route. You nodded, propping up your arm and resting your chin on your palm.
“I mean, yeah. It’s been a while. I reconnected with some old friends. One friend in particular.”
She couldn’t help herself. The question came out by itself. “The girl you were with on Valentines Day?”
You startled, then looked at her with wide eyes. “How.... How do you know about that?”
“I saw you.” Hyewon tried to keep her voice steady as she looked down at her coffee. “Through the window. I just happened to look inside because I remembered it was your favorite place and I saw you there.”
“You... were the person who ran away from the window.”
Her cheeks flushed with shame. “That was me. I didn’t want you to see me.”
“Oh.” You sat back and waved your hands. “It’s not what you think it was, I promise! She’s just an old friend from high school and we met up again recently and started hanging out again.”
“Really.”
“Really! Hyewon, do you not trust me?” You sounded offended, and suddenly, Hyewon felt angry. She was the one who should be annoyed, how could she not assume things when you decided on a break so suddenly?
“How can I? Are you broke up with me, you didn’t speak to me for months!”
“I said it was a break, not a break up! And you didn’t contact me either!”
“It felt like a break up! And how could I contact you when you broke up with me and disappeared? I felt like I’d just be annoying you! Do you have any idea how much I’ve cried over these past months?” Her voice was rising, despite her desperate attempts to control it.
“I didn’t mean for that to happen, I just-.”
She couldn’t take it anymore. She stood up, shaking her head. “No, I’m sure you didn’t. But it did happen. I loved you, (Y/N). I really did. But you didn’t even try to talk things through with me, and that hurt. You just left me to wonder what the hell I did to make things go bad. I know that things were weird. I know that we were both dealing with things. But had you talked things over with me, instead of just breaking up with me, we could have worked things out.” She grabbed her bag, holding back her tears. “Now, I’m not even sure if I can trust you anymore.”
“Hyewon....”
She gave you a tight smile and waved her hand. “I changed my mind. I’m not ready, I’m sorry. Goodbye, (Y/N).” She felt your eyes on her back as she left, but you didn’t try to stop her. And she wasn’t sure if she wanted you to let her go, or if she wanted you to call out her name.
She wasn’t sure what she wanted anymore.
-
-Hey, I’m sorry. For everything. I should have listened to you and I should have talked everything over with you. I never meant to hurt you, I swear. I was lost and I didn’t think things through. And I know this apology isn’t enough. But can we start over? Because I don’t want to lose you. I love you, Hyewon. Even if I didn’t show it very well.
-I don’t want to lose you either.
-
Getting to know someone all over again was odd. Some things were the same, while other things were different. You still had the same laugh and the same smile, but now Hyewon hesitated to hold your hand like she used to whenever you burst into laughter. You still liked all the same foods, but you seemed to hesitate when eating, unlike when you had enjoyed your food in front of her before. Everything was old and new at the same time. It was like having first dates all over again, but with a lot more conversations than before.
The two of you spent many nights talking, learning how to work through problems together and promising to be less selfish and to think of each other more. It wasn’t all easy. There were arguments and the awkward tension that made Hyewon crazy, but that was all part of the growing process. And Hyewon was willing to go through it all, because she loved you.
-
Before she knew it, the summer had passed and turned into autumn, which then turned into winter. She once again learned all your little quirks, laughed against your shoulder, and held your hand without hesitation. You once again spent the night in her bed, talking about anything and everything. The two of you were together again, two instead of one.
This November, the cold wind didn’t bother her as much, her gloved hand in yours as the two of you walked through the park until you reached that small park with the swing set.
“Remember this place?” She asked, turning to you with a smile. Your cheeks were flushed from the cold as you laughed and dropped her hand to walk over to the swings.
“How could I forget? It hasn’t changed a bit since we had our first kiss here.” You patted the swing beside you. “Come sit.”
Last year, Hyewon had cried on that very swing, and her heart hurt a little as she sat down, remembering the pain of that day. But this year, you reached over and took her hand again, swinging slowly just like you had when the two of you were young and newly in love.
“Hey, (Y/N)?”
You blinked and looked back at her. “Yeah?”
“I love you.”
A grin spread over your face and you squeezed her hand. “I love you too. Where did that come from?”
Eventually, she’d tell you about crying on the swings. But right then, she just smiled and shrugged her shoulders. “I just wanted to say it.”
“You’re a sap.” You turned your swing to face hers and tugged her closer. “But I like it.”
“Can I kiss you?” She asked, echoing her sentiments from so many years before, and you laughed.
“Of course you can, silly.”
This time, your lips were warm despite the chill, and she savored the feeling of your lips against hers and the taste of the dessert the two of you had eaten during lunch earlier. In her head, she replaced the memory of crying with this memory of kissing you instead, holding you as close as she could.
When she finally pulled away, something cold hit her nose. Looking up, she watched as a light snow began to float down from the cloudy sky, her mouth falling slightly open. Beside her, you grinned, looking up at the same sky.
“This is a good sign, right? Seeing the first snow with your lover?”
She laughed and quickly wiped a stray tear from her face, so overcome with emotions that she could only joke to hold back her tears. “I think the saying is for the first snow of the year. This is just the first snow in November.”
“I still think it’s a good sign,” you said, laughing with her. “After all, the first time we kissed was under the November snow and we managed to make it this far.”
“You’re right.” She smiled and moved her swing over so that she could put her head on your shoulder, watching the snow fall. It had been a while since she felt so warm. “Let’s promise to see the first snow together next November, too.”
You leaned against her and locked your pinkie finger together with hers, whispering for only the two of you and the snow to hear. “I promise.”

hey hi helloo~ so,,,you kinda seem like you know lots of kdramas,,,,and i wanted to ask you,,,if you could recommend me some of your favorites? tbh anything would be fine kdjs it can be something where i can cry my heart and soul out or something really cute! that's totally up to you (but something where i can absolutely get emotionally invested in that it shatters my heart is what i probs need rn tbh 😩✊🏻)
this is my time to shine 🤓🤓🤓 i DEFINITELY CAN !!! esp for my favorite follower 😔💕 also this is gonna be pretty long bc i gave a lot of info for each drama so i’ll put a read more~!
_ MY PERSONAL FAVS _
go ho’s starry night- a chinese-korean collaboration drama starring snsd's yuri, kim youngkwang (the secret life of my secretary), and lee jihoon (legend of the blue sea) - go ho (yuri) is a dedicated worker who deals with her grumpy boss and quirky coworkers. she requests to be transferred to a different team, where she discovers her new boss is her ex-boyfriend, and then basically there forms a harem of 5 of her coworkers who all like her- super fluffy!! episodes are only about 15 minutes long each, and although there is angst, there's a lot more comedy and fluff. the relationship between the two main leads is adorable and had me squealing way more than once
put your head on my shoulder- a chinese drama starring fair xing (master devil do not kiss me) and lin yi- si tu mo is a bubbly girl who moves into a house only to find out that the owner's nephew (?), gu wei yi, is already living there, and the two end up living together. si tu mo is sweet and outgoing, while gu wei yi is quiet and intellectual- SO cute. although the plot seems cliche, the focus is not really on them living together, that's just what brings them together originally, and the main lead isn't the stereotypical "cold and super smart asshole" type, he's actually very sweet. there are a lot of episodes but i would definitely recommend watching this!
like- a korean webdrama that you can find on youtube starring kim yu an, kim kangmin (maybe, maybe not), yoo jungwoo (love after school), and seo ji hye- about a group of students who create a film club to make youtube videos and the dumb shit they get into, plus there's some romance, betrayal, and fuckboys. - so so so so cute honestly. the dynamic between the characters of the club is so cute and funny, plus the love triangle has me wheezing. also the asshole fuckboy gets what he deserves which is super satisfying. it hasn't finished airing yet, but so far it's really cute
failing in love- korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring son sang yeon (triple fling), yang hye ji, and shin yoon seop- about a group of high schoolers who deal with falling in love, crushes, rejection, etc.- ok so the summary i gave was pretty vague but that's because any more and i'd be exposing the whole plot. there is humor and fluff but also teenage angst, and the characters are all more complex than they first appear. i would highly recommend this show !!!
i have 3 boyfriends- short webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ji eun, park sungwoo (produce 101 season 2 [that 30 year old dude who danced to rain's song OMG], moon jihoo, and lee jungsik - when la hi gets in a car accident and wakes up with amnesia she finds that she has 3 men all claiming to be her boyfriend.- OK LISTEN . this show is so funny and cute. let me just say: you MUST watch to the end. that's all i'll say. pLS WATCH
last minute romance- two episode drama special starring han seung yeon (age of youth) and lee seo won (the liar and his lover)- when baek se finds out she has terminal cancer and only has a short time to live, she desperately wants to complete her one bucket list item: date her favorite actor. it's then that she meets an aspiring actor who looks exactly like her favorite actor- so cute and very short, so you won't spend ages trying to finish. it is very fluffy, cute, and funny, but has an underlying tone of sadness because the main female lead has cancer and will eventually die. also her best friend is a monk??? the ending is bittersweet but very fitting
want more 19- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung ha joon, sin gi hwan, jeon yoo rim, nam yoon soo, and lee jungha- a story of 5 friends in high school. A mutual crush, a one-sided love, and a rough patch for sweethearts, all taking place right around the end their senior year- OH GOD i can't breathe this drama is so cute. it had me squealing every single episode, and it's very lighthearted with hardly any angst
splash splash love- a two episode drama starring kim seulgi (queen of the ring) and highlight's doojoon (radio romance)- right before her ksat, danbi is transported to the past during a freak rain shower and is mistaken for a eunich (which, in korean, is the same word for high school senior) . due to her knowledge of future math, the king enlists her to teach him mathematics and they fall in love- a lowkey parody/remake of the kdrama love in the moonlight but if you added time travel into the mix and took out nearly all the angst. SO cute and funny, and has a happy but open type ending
something about 1 percent (2016)- korean drama starring jeon so min and ha seokjin (drinking solo)- lee jae in is an arrogant company heir, whose wealthy grandfather who decides to grant all his wealth to a kindly elementary school teacher. to only way for anyone else to get the money is for someone to marry her, but they devise a contract that changes it to date for 10 months. although they hate each other at first, they eventually fall in love- this drama is super cute and the kisses are AMAZING. there are crazy exes and all that but the couple's dynamic is super cute and they quickly warm up to each other
triple fling (s1)- a short choose-your-own-ending korean webdrama on youtube starring jung bomin, son sangyeon (failing in love), themanblk's jeongyou, and themanblk's eom sewoong- lee sehee accidentally becomes friends with the three most popular boys in school and ends up in a love square with them- alright im whipped for stuff like this so naturally i loved it. i also really liked how viewers could choose their own ending as for which boy she chose. there is a second season that i haven't seen yet that focuses on another girl in ANOTHER love square (containing one of the guys from sehee's love square) in which it shows which boy she actually did choose (and it was my favorite so . yay!)
weightlifting fairy kim bok joo- a korean drama starring lee sungkyung (cheese in the trap) and nam joohyuk (who are you: school 2015)- a drama about a female weightlifter who falls in love. persuing the relationship would jeopardize her weightlifting, and focusing on weightlifting would jeopardize her relationship with her crush. she and her group of friends deal with one-sided crushes, athletic pressure, and self-love.- i watched this drama in full in only two days, and loved it. seriously, it's funny, cute, sad, and just a generally AWESOME drama. plus it takes a lot of cliches and makes fun of them or turns them on their head
when you love yourself (s1)- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung mingyu (sweet revenge 2) and saet byeol . - about a girl who is heavier than her classmates who struggles with self-love and self-acceptance, and along the way finds love- god. i can't even explain how much i loved this drama. the message is wonderful and there's no moment where she glows up and loses weight and then gets the guy's attention or anything: he simply loves her as who she is, no matter what weight she is, and is supportive. there's also an episode that focuses on the queen bee girl who also struggles with weight and self-love and it's just beautiful
after school: lucky or not (s1)- short drama starring 5urprise: kang tae oh (my first first love), seo kang joon (are you human too), gong myung (drinking solo), lee taehwan (w: two worlds), and yoo il, as well as kim so eun (our gab soon)- when so eun gets an invite to the choose-your-mission club, she meets 5 chaotic guys that she becomes friends with, but there's something they aren't telling her.- yes, there is a lil romance and a love triangle HOHO. ok but seriously this drama is the most crackheadery i've ever seen like. genuinely i was just wheezing so hard every episode because of the dumb sh*t the guys were doing and so eun's reaction. this drama seems dumb and funny at first, but there are emotional moments as well as some angst relating to the love triangle and the origin of the club. please do watch this show !!! (don't recommend season 2, though)
accidentally in love - a chinese drama starring amy sun (the eternal love), fiction guo, and ma li- chen qingqing, who is raised by her grandfather) is arranged to be married, but wants to find love on her own terms. on the day of the wedding, she runs away to the university her parents attended to find out more about their death. to hide from her grandfather, she changes her appearance drastically and enters university. her new deskmate turns out to be singer si tu feng, whom she has already run into and has gotten off on the wrong foot with- so this drama was longer than the ones i usually watch but it was worth it. it was cute and they didn't drag out the couple not getting together for ages like some dramas tend to do. the romance was super cute and the female lead's undeterred determination to march to her own drummer was amusing. the only thing i didn't like is that they didnt give the side couple enough screentime bc they were super cute too
my woofy poofy love / my dog-like dating- a short korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring chae ji an and kim do hoon (your imagination becomes reality)- a girl who has recently been cruelly dumped by her boyfriend brings a stray dog back to her home and wakes up to find that instead of a dog, there is a man! she happens to be looking for a roommate, and so this man (who can turn into a dog) becomes her new housemate- literally adorable. female lead is stunning and the relationship is so cute and fluffy and innocent, but the kiss is steamy as hell.
unrequited love (2019)- a chinese drama starring zhu yan man zi and zhao shun ran- a story of a girl who has secretly loved the same boy for 10 years, but he doesn't know she exists, until one day when they meet in college. so begins their love story, but things become more complicated because of other people- ok so like . damn i love this couple. this drama is really cute but has its fair share of angst, so don't expect an easy ride the whole way through. very cute though !!_ MORE DRAMA RECS _
a love so beautiful- a chinese drama starring shen yue (meteor garden) and hu yi tuan- chen xiaoxi has liked her neighbor jiangchen onesidedly for years, and continues to like him despite his seeming disinterest. but her determination and bubbly personality, as well as a romantic threat starts to cause him to fall for her- aight so . i feel like this drama was dragged out a little bit longer than necessary and then the ending was slightly rushed but!! it WAS a great and super cute drama
ok to be sensitive (s1)- a webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim da ye and kim youngdae (extraordinary you) and others im too lazy to put- focuses on feminist issues like sexism and sexual harassment in a college setting, which each episode focusing on one particular incident and the characters dealing with it- listen so like . this show had me emotional at some points bc of how amazing the message was. it dealt with sexual harassment, sexism, how females are expected to act, stalking, pressure to have sex... etc and basically every episode was like . you can stand up for yourself. you don’t have to “take it” just bc you’re a female, etc. also there was really cute romance uwu
ok to be sensitive (s2)- season 2 of otbs, also can be found on youtube, starring yoo hye in and lee shin young, as well as others but again im too lazy to list them all- same thing as season 1, but a different cast of main characters, and set in an office workplace. (original cast makes a cameo at the end)- the issues in season 2 were definitely a bit darker because it was set in a work place, where the main characters were worried about getting fired if they stood up for themselves, but the way things were handled was really admirable imo. also the male lead in this one is ABSOLUTELY adorable
go back diary- a 4 episode webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ye ji and lee jong won (jaemin’s webdrama how to hate you)- about a boy who sees a girl at a karaoke bar (?) and instantly develops a crush on her. she then transfers to his school, and it tells the story of their love story after 10 years.- i’ll just say it right now. the whole drama was adorable except for the ending, which fucking sucked. literally was horrible. boycott episode 4 pls i was SO UPSET. otherwise, great webdrama
before we get married- taiwanese drama starring puff guo (just you; we got married w/ suju’s heechul) and jasper liu- tells the story of two people who already have partners and are planning to marry them, only to meet each other and fall in love- bro this show had so much angst i couldn’t even breathe lmfao. but the romantic scenes between the two leads were S T E A M Y let me TELL you.
love after school (s1)- korean webdrama that can be found on youtube starring park so eun and yoo jungwoo (like)- about a couple who fell in love in high school and their story, told from 5 years later when they meet again- i love love love this bitch. LOVE. season 2 ... we won’t speak of her lol. but season 1 is super cute and the ???? kiss at the end(ish)??? DEAD. literally anything with yoo jungwoo will destroy me but omg. it was fantastic
lucky romance- a korean drama starring hwang jung eum (she was pretty) and ryu joon yeol (reply 1988) - about a woman who believes wholeheartedly in superstitions meeting a man who believes only in science and mathematics, and their very chaotic love story- this show was so funny tbh. the main couple’s dynamic was HILARIOUS and even though they were literally complete opposites they worked so well together. warning: towards the end there’s that whole ‘i have to be noble and let you go bc its for the best’ bullshit but!!! there is a happy ending
maybe, maybe not- a webdrama starring kim kangmin (like) and gong yoorim- a girl who can read minds and is an outside bc she knows what everyone is really thinking meets a guy that she can’t read the mind of- so fluffy. so cute. oh god. pls watch it’s so soft and cute
my first first love- a korean drama starring jisoo (strong woman dbs), dia’s chaeyeon (drinking solo), and b1a4′s jinyoung (love in the moonlight)- about a group of friends who all, due to various circumstances, move into their friend tae oh’s house, and find love along the way.- idk why netflix did that dumbass thing where they did mffl 1 and mffl 2 but they’re the same show, just eps 1-8 then 8-16. anyways !! very cute show!! jisoo is fine as hell. taeoh and the rich girl are cute together. i found the ending abrupt and unsatisfying, but overall a good show
thumping spike (s1)- a korean drama starring hwang seung eon (part-time idol) and song jae rim (our gab soon) - about a volleyball team and their coach who are aiming for success, and a female professional volleyball player who becomes their athletic mentor- i know it doesnt sound super romantic but trust me. there is lots of romance, and even a love triangle hehe
u-prince: the single lawyer- a thai drama apart of the u-prince series starring august vachiravit paisarnkulwong and apple lapisara intarasu- firstclass is a straight a student who is strict about punctuality and properness, while minute is a spoiled rich girl who loses all her luxuries when her family files for bankruptcy. she begins “going out” with her gay best friend, aka firstclass’ brother, for money and ends up living in their house, but she and firstclass hate each other- listen all the u prince dramas are cringy and low quality but does it look like a give a shit . NO BC I KEEP WATCHING THEM . they’re cute ok . anyways this was my favorite one so this is the one im recommending yeehaw
unexpected heroes- a short korean drama sponsored by the CDC organ transplant management center, starring btob’s minhyuk, ioi’s sohye, and choi jonghoon- about three high school students who discover that, after their respective organ transplants, they have supernatural powers- though there’s not much focus on romance in this drama, it’s still funny and cute. plus minhyuk is in it and what more can you ask for ?? lol. anyways the trio uses their powers to help solve crimes n stuff it’s gr8 and ive been waiting for a season 2 for 98429834 years
what to do with you- a korean webdrama - that is actually literally an ad for a facemask - starring lee hayoung and kim youngdae (extraordinary you)- saerom and geun are friends, but it feels like they’re something more. will they ever take the next step?- yeah this webdrama is super cute and that’s really all lol. also the bitchy girl in love after school is the best friend in this one oho
your imagination becomes reality- a webdrama that can be found on youtube starring oh se young, kim dohoon (my woofy poofy love), and jin ho eun- soram has a crush on a mysterious upperclassman, and wishes to see him again: she does, soon after. each time she makes a wish, it seems to magically come true. - yeah so like . it’s not a supernatural thing or anything, it’s just a cute college romance that’s basically every girl with a crush’s dream lol~!

Noctis
Is hesitant to go, because he’s sure he’ll make a fool of himself.
But how could he say no to you?
Especially when you make that face!
He is on his butt more than he’s standing upright.
“Just like you’re stomping”
Takes that waaay too literally.
It’s adorable how hard he’s trying.
You hold his arms, helping him glide along the ice.
He is so embarrassed,
But he is also having fun.
Eventually, he tells you to go ahead and skate and he’ll go along the wall or something.
Because he just wants to watch you.
The way you move, like you’re gliding through time itself, is just…breathtaking.
He feels like a child again, watching fireworks for the first time.
His forgets where his body is and just watches you.
You may be showing off a bit.
You conclude to a grand applause.
Or at least one from Noct.
You laugh as you meet in the middle of the rink.
He was to waddle there.
You’ll never truly understand how amazing you are to him.
Prompto
Abso-freaking-lutly will try something new with you!
Will admit he’ll fall, a lot, but that’s ok if you’re doing it together.
If you know how to skate, he’ll be cool with that.
You can teach him!
WILL SING HISTORY MAKER THE WHOLE WAY TO THE RINK
Interpretative dance and everything.
At the rink, he’s super into learning.
He’s trying his hardest.
Laughs at the first few falls.
But starts to whine as the bruises get bigger.
Is cheering when he doesn’t fall.
And is always complimenting you.
This is so natural to you!
He actually picks up the skill pretty fast.
Wants to race.
But really loves seeing everything you can do.
“Oh, oh! Can you do one of those spinny jumpy things?”
Everything you show him is applauded.
You skate around, arm in arm, enjoying the moment.
He is so in love with you!
And so proud of you!
He’ll never be able to say just how much…
But he will try to explain it to you, anyways, over hot chocolate.
Ignis
Of course he’ll take you.
It sounds like fun!
This man totally knows how to ice skate, already.
Just look at him! He’d be a gorgeous figure skater.
Being on the ice with him feels so natural.
The two of you skate a mesmerizing dance together.
Always in each other’s arms.
Moving as one.
You feel the music course through him into you.
Moments are joyous and thrilling!
And at times, sensual.
He is utterly entranced by you.
Never has he moved so seamlessly with someone.
You flow through his hands as you move gracefully over the ice.
The whole experience leaves him at a loss for words.
You’ll HAVE to do this again.
If you can’t skate, that’s ok!
He has so much fun teaching you!
His hands are always in yours as he shows you how to glide over the ice.
His words are gentle and instructive, helping you fall less.
But when you do fall, he’s always there to catch you.
He leads you into a simple dance.
Spinning you around, always in control.
It’s intoxicating to watch him move over the ice so gracefully.
But it’s even better to be in his arms so much.
He’s the kind of person you want to keep up with, to be beside.
So you’ll want to do this again until you can skate with him.
Until then, you’re both content in this moment together.
Gladio
Sure, he’ll take you!
Anything active is cool by him.
Has been skating before, but not in a long time.
He’s clumsy on the ice at first, but he remembers how to.
He knows the basics, mainly, how not to fall.
May have played hockey in high school.
Would know a lot more then.
If it’s your first time, he’ll be at your back to always catch you.
Always congratulating you when you get it.
He loves how much fun you’re having.
Loves to “warm your face” by stealing kisses.
If you do know how to skate,
He’ll be totally entranced by how graceful you are.
Wide, childish eyes.
He will try to keep up,
But will let you have the spotlight.
Totally wants to try a lift.
You teach him now to be more graceful on the ice.
How to move with greater ease.
And he loves being the student.
You could lead him anywhere!
You’ll both be sore and tired for days to come,
But today is filled with warm laughter on the ice.
Ravus
If he doesn’t know how to skate, he will not want to go.
Absolutely hates being embarrassed.
But it’s not far fetched to think that he does know.
He fights with such grace that it could translate to the ice.
He’ll meet you at the rink, wanting to practice before you get there.
He feels like he’d die if he embarrassed himself in front of you.
You watch him practice when you arrive, not wanting to disturb him.
He is a spectral vision gliding through the rink.
Gray along white.
His hair is tied back, but stray pieces flutter with the momentum.
He’s dressed in a heavy sweater,
The first you’ve seen him wear it.
He stops, seeing you.
“Will you join me?”
He helps you onto the ice.
If you don’t know how to skate, he’ll help you.
He’s not a great teacher, but he’ll try to show you.
He’s incredibly patient with those he loves.
You can’t remember a time you got to be in his arms this long!
He’s always so busy,
But here, he won’t leave your side.
If you do know how to skate, he’ll be amazed!
“You have far more grace than I…”
He’ll laugh as you literally skate circles around him.
But you’ll take his hand and pull him into your routine.
It’s nearly impossible for this man to give up any control,
But he’ll try.
He’s clumsy with you because of this.
So take simple steps.
It’ll be like a ball but just for the two of you.
If he does fall, he’ll want to die.
Anger starts to swell,
he tried so hard to avoid ruining this for you.
What must you think of him, now?
But it’s your unexpected love that cools him.
You stop and hold out a hand to him, reminding him that it happens to everyone.
He pouts, realizing how stupid his flash of anger was.
“You’re perfect.” You say, falling to your knees to kiss him.
“And you truly are an angel.” He’ll say, staying down just to kiss you.
Ravus doesn’t know why you love him, but he has to be the luckiest man alive for it.
Luna
Yes! She wants to go!
She is totally ready to learn something new and fun!
But she may also already know how to, especially if Ravus knows.
If you’re learning together, moments are filled with laughter.
You both fall together.
Helping each other back up without judgement.
If you know how to skate, she’ll gladly learn from you.
She’s an amazing student.
Always complimenting you, as well.
She learns quickly.
By the end of the day, you can do a simple routine together.
She just wants to be in your arms.
If you don’t know how to skate,
Well, just imagine how amazing a teacher she is!
She’s so gentle and kind.
It’s wonderful.
But if you can both skate,
It’s a joyous dance for the ages.
Quick paced before slowing down.
Hot breath on necks.
Lips yearning to kiss.
Before pulling away for a lift.
The two of you glide along on icey wings.
Ardyn
Why do you want to do that?
But…alright, he’ll go.
He’d do anything for you.
Doesn’t know how to skate.
Would rather just sit on the ice, now, thank you very much.
But you’ll pull him back up,
Taking him by the hand so pull him along.
He’s so in love with you.
From the way you teach,
To how graceful you are on the ice,
To how perfectly your hand fits in his.
He’s a gracious student, learning quickly.
But no, you can’t let go.
He will purposefully fall if you do.
He’ll do anything to have you all to himself.
If you’re both learning, he’ll laugh the first time you fall together.
But, yes, he wants to leave now.
He doesn’t like his suave persona being broken.
But he’ll stay because you’re enjoying yourself.
He’d do anything for your smile.
Even this.
Nyx
Sure, he’ll take you!
But he’s never gone.
But he loves to get out with you, especially to try new things.
Breaks into laughter at how bad the two of you are.
Is just utterly enjoying this moment with you.
If you know how to skate, he’ll just want to watch you.
He’ll say he’s learning from the expert,
But really, he’s just admiring you.
The way you move is utterly beautiful.
But he’s more thinking of getting you home and to himself.
Cor
He’ll go, but only for a light skating.
He’s too old to go around for days on end with a bruised butt.
It’s a night skate.
And you go around the rink in easy circles.
Everything is quiet and peaceful.
Neither of you is great at skating.
He can barely keep his balance.
But it’s romantic to be holding on to each other like this.
He loves looking down in to your eyes.
Neither of you know how many laps you’ve done,
All you know is each other.
This moment is soft and still because everything is perfect.
Aranea
Can ice skate, what of it?
It’s not really her thing, though.
Sure, she’ll go with you.
But don’t expect much out of her.
She’s not a great teacher, if you can’t skate.
But she catches on pretty quickly that it means she gets to hold you the entire time.
She she can pull you down into her arms easily.
If you do know how to skate, it starts out as a race.
You’ll skate, side by side, without holding hands at first.
Until she loosens up, taking your hand as you pull her into a routine.
You’ll do silly tricks, not caring about the music, just to surprise her.
And she’ll do even more back.
She never really liked skating, but it’s much better with you there.

Vernon: Er...I don't know iffin' I want to touch on that.
Zach: C'mon now Vern, the little Miss ain't here fer this one. So it ain't like it's gonna make her feel bad.
Vernon: What if she reads this later?
Vanna: Not to put more strain on you Vernon, but if I recall Dawn is quite adamant about facing the truth in order to heal. She doesn't want to 'forget' what she did so that she can continually strive to be a better mammal.
Vernon: Yeah, but hearin' the same stories constantly can't be good fer long term moral. How many times we gotta talk about these experiences before it's 'enough'?
Dorian: One last time then? Fer the sake of who asked it. After that, we'll try and avoid this kinda talk from now on.
Vernon: *Sigh* Fine...Well....Durin' the incident I was in college, studyin' architecture. When it first came to light that preds were goin' 'Savage', most of the folks at school thought it was some sorta disease.
Vanna: There was a similar sentiment at the ZPD. Although there were a few who feared-.
Vernon: That it really did have something to do with a preds 'nature'?
Vanna: *Nods*
Vernon: Well there were no shortage of them folks too, especially among the prey students. Eventually, protests broke out, prey protestin' preds goin' to school durin' the epidemic, preds standing up for their rights to go. I tried to keep my head down and out of it, focusin' on the schoolwork and leavin' my personal worries about the howler fer when I was home. But eventually things got so bad most of the pred folk were permitted to stay home and finish out their classes online to avoid any trouble on campus, and I took the out.
Zach: We had to deal with a lot of sheep protestin', neighbors we thought we knew startin' to look at us sideways.
Dorian: Prey became more aggressive outta fear, made 'em less cooperative with us preds in law-enforcement. Then as things got worse a bunch of our pred officers started stayin' home and refusin' to work. They were afraid of turnin' on a neighbor or innocent citizen at the drop of a hat due to whatever the howler was. That left us purty strained, lots of long shifts on nothin' but coffee fumes and collapsing into bed as soon as we finally got home only to get about two to three hours sleep at most.
Vanna: The ZPD also started losing officers in droves. Those preds who didn't see themselves shifted to out of sight desk positions either resigned or took out all their vacation days in order to wait out the storm, even if there didn't seem to be an end in sight.
Yuri: Seaodder didn't see to much of a frenzy over it. I mean there were o' course the hushed whispers of stuff among the preds on the force and a few prey perps, but generally the fact that it hadn't spread outside of Zootopia's borders kept it from affectin' thangs all too much.
Xavier: It was similar in San Francisgoat, although it was definitely more talked about. Nearly every public television was constantly fixed to ZNN, keeping the howler epidemic on almost every mammal's mind.
Malcolm: It was a frequent topic of conversation at the diner. Pred and prey musin' over the cause, arguments sometimes breakin' out whenever someone started to lean on what that bunny said might of been the cause. Had to kick a few customers out over them kinda scrapes.
Xavier: On the streets however, most mammals were still civilized. No riots, no protests. If it wasn't in our state, it wasn't urgent.
Trenton: Durin' the Howler scare, I got a lot of uncomfortable glares from the various burrowfolk I had to deal with. Not that I didn't get them before, there just was a sharp uptick. It weren't all that much of a surprise though. In the burrows, old beliefs die hard, and new 'evidence' just provides vindication.
Qali: It was hard not just for my family, but our community. Foxes glen is largely a pred town. Foxes, wolves, a stray puma or bear. Our prey population is very small. But during the howler epidemic it got that much smaller. A lot of the prey folk went on long term trips to stay with family, and some went as far as moving out entirely. Thankfully it didn't cut into the local economy too sharply, but it took a bit of a toll on moral, and it made a lot of us scared that our farms would go under due to the pervading fear of predators cutting our customer count during harvest season.
Wade: I was put behind a desk, as was my partner. Of course, it was a huge strain on Precinct three, not just because we were put behind the desk, but more than half of our staff was. I mean, it's no secret that the Tundratown ZPD is made up largely of pred officers. The other precincts had to help pick up the slack, and they were already strained as it was. As fer my personal life, I played it like Vern. Kept my head down, limited myself to work and home, and to occasional grocery pick up. I was just prayin' it would all blow over soon.
Ada: While it may have been easy for ol' Yuri dere, da hospital was hell. Wese always had an issue wit employee retention, but neva was it more strained den durin' da night howler ting. I mean, da hospital was considad ground zero at da time in toims of gettin' infected. Most preds taught it was a disease, and so woikin' a hospital was a big risk in most o' dere eyes. It also made prey patient more scared of bein' treated by pred doctas' to da point where we always had to have a big, honkin' prey nurse accompany every prey docta around to put da patient at ease.
Audrey: Thankfully it wasn't the season for corn and pies or I'm sure my stall woulda suffered fer it, but I still got looks from the neighbors, hell even old friends. Mammals I knew since I was a pup even hesitated around me just a might. They may not a thought I noticed, but I did. I can't say it didn't make me sad, but I can't say I blame 'em either.
Vernon: Afterward? Well I mean things mostly went back to how they was. Sure, there was a few pred supremacist marches and so on, but the quickly tapered off as the majority of the city seemed more interested in mendin' the wounds. Most mammals weren't willin' to hear out folk blamin' 'all sheep' fer what happened, rather than the actual...er...culprit...and I'm thankful for that.
Dorian: It was worse up here, as y'all know. The native wolves dug in sharply, takin' the opportunity of what Dawn did to try and draw more folks into their way of thinkin'. And of course, y'all know what happened next...
Zach: I still don't regret it. If not for saving that little lambs life, than for the damage the shooting did to that little attempt at a native wolf revival movement. Pretty much all support fer anti-prey sentiment dried up thanks to that nut and his pistol.
Wade: Me and my partner went right back on duty. It was almost as if nothing had changed, which was kind of a relief. I was afraid there would be a dark cloud hanging over the station ferever after what happened. But hey, that's the Tundra Town way I guess, resilient in the face of unyielding cold and what not.
Qali: While the mammals who moved away never actually returned, maybe because it was easier, or maybe out of shame, the other families did. Most of the prey who returned went above and beyond to apologize to everyone they could, of course most refused to accept the apology, my Dad included.
Ada: Dat's cold.
Qali: Not like that. I mean they felt that their neighbors had nothing to apologize for. Most of them felt that had they been in the shoes of their prey neighbors, they would have done the same, especially if the had kits. Still, that didn't stop most of the pred families from getting buried in baked goods. *giggles*
Vanna: I transferred to the North Meadowlands, so my experience was muted significantly. By the time I was working with Zach, the tension in the community was fading fast.
Macolm: Things purty much went back to normal at my diner. The arguments over what was the cause o' the whole night howler problem went right back to arguin' over who's sport team was the best.
Xavier: Only thing that changed for me at that point was an uptick in discrimination suits. Most of the prey discriminating predator out of fear of the whole night howler issue when it was thought to be an illness or mental problem. Despite the case being solved, those civil suits still needed to be settled regardless, although if I remember most of the prey mammals in those cases ended up settling.
Ada: Da hospital was still strained o' course, but it was less bad den it was durin' da whole epidemic. Da patients got less finnicky about who took care of 'em, and we even managed to snag some new recruits afta a few weeks to lessen da load on da rest of us.
