#Like Domain Kingdom Phylum Class Order Family Genus Species (subspecies)#though considering they're made of metal and we've seen some quite fairly preserved transformer remains before—#— one could probably preserve a dead transformer for longer than any organic species if done properly#may i yet again point to Liege Maximo and the crypt arm incident in tfp?#not only did Liege Maximo's body seemingly hold up well to millions of year time but his arm functioned well enough in a transplant#(... Liege Maximo WAS the deceased Prime Megatron decided to steal an arm off of so he could wield Solus's Forge hammer right?)
