I've come to the conclusion whenever I browse pre-JiM (2011) comics that I'm weirdly and unusually apologetic and defensive over the "evil" comics!Loki. I think he deserved better, and Marvel has always done Loki dirty since inception. To me, he's always been sympathetic and very queer-coded!
AND THE NARRATIVE HATES HIM! SO THE NARRATIVE IS UNRELIABLE when he does something ridiculously over-the-top evil! And it makes me feel like I'm a weirdo with Loki brainrot when others don't see it. But I'm so fucking defensive over him!
And I'm incapable of reading Thor comics without Loki in them, just like the movies xD
So apparently this is comic book Loki’s idea of doing “evil” stuff 😔✊
#idk why the concept of this specific character just speaks directly to me and makes me so defensive of him.#even if he's drawn ugly or whatever and everyone says he's the worst#some 1966 dialogue from thor would mark thor as very cruel nowadays#not to mention odin and a lot of asgard#comics!loki#older thor comics are often attempts to justify authoritative parenting and mistreatment of an adoptee. yk im right#comics!thor#the extent of my loki brainrot

It was wild back in 2019 seeing self-described communists share that meme that was like "the MCU sucks except for Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Black Panther (2018)" and if you dared challenge Black Panther you would get actual backlash. No these are not anti-colonial films, please watch Battle of Algiers (1966) or anything by Ousmane Sembène.

Wanda knows how to drive, which strikes me as odd given she spent most of her adult life in New York. I feel like it’s unlikely Django and Marya taught her since I think she was probably too young to be concerned about that when they all got separated, and I’m sure magneto didn’t (even if they didn’t live on an island castle together and he cared enough to teach the twins… I doubt he drives much since he can fly and move cars with his mind)
So if you had to guess, who taught her? An avenger? Jarvis? Agatha?
Janet, which is why her first car was a fashion statement product placement
Thor (1966) #135
In all seriousness, I would imagine that it was part of her Avengers training. If they taught her how to fly a quinjet, then they probably taught her how to drive on land. It was probably Steve-- he was one of the only responsible adults in her life when she and Pietro came to the States.
