whatever you do, don't imagine thomas waiting at an elderly isobelle’s bedside as she takes her last few breaths. he's lived in the house, watching his cousin marry her, have children with her, rename the house and pass away, leaving her as the widow of button house. he knows it should be thorne house, and he should have moved on as an old man and waited for her there. her children are downstairs, unaware that she's finally going.

robin, mary and kitty - plus a few others who move on before alison and mike come into the picture, and no one quite knows where either half of humphrey is - are outside the door, giving thomas the privacy he needs. they remember his death and its surrounding circumstances all too well.

finally she lets out one last breath and begins to glow. thomas’ breath catches. she rises out of her body, made of some incorporeal light.

“dearest isobelle…” is all he can breathe out.

“thomas!” she’s surprised, “you’re still here?”

“i could never leave you,” he whispered.

her face twists in a way thomas can't recognise. she realises something wasn't right on the day he died. something was wrong with that letter she received. he never stopped loving her - and although she loved her husband very much, her view of him is suddenly tarnished, and she knows she never quite stopped loving thomas, either.

before she could tell him the truth of her letter, she realises she must make a choice. she cannot stay here - she has no truly unfinished business, not like thomas did on the day he died.

“thomas dearest…” she manages, her form and voice growing fainter, and thomas’ face drops as he realises she is moving on, “look after my children for me.”

he nods. what else can he do? and then he is gone.

her great-great-great-granddaughter-in-law is cheated on by her husband. thomas keeps an eye on her, and cries bitterly - out of sight of the others, later that night - when she is murdered to keep his secret safe. he wasn't able to save her, and although she is incredibly disagreeable in death, she is isobelle’s family. he feels sorry for how he failed her.

a young woman comes to live at the house. she is a button, distantly. he immediately falls in love with her.

he takes care of her. (and annoys her a bit.) his romantic love for her is completely unrequited, but she loves him too, in other ways. she’s there when he finds out that isobelle loved him too, the truth that isobelle realised on her death bed. besides, alison makes lady button more agreeable, and loves all the other ghosts too. he watches the next generation of isobelle’s descendants come to life, slowly growing inside alison and then carried home in her mother’s arms. she takes care of thomas more than he has ever been able to take care of isobelle’s children. but he doesn't feel guilty about that anymore.

17 Nisan 2011 tarihide başlayıp 7 sezondur devam eden Game of Thrones dizisi; George R. R. Martin’in Buz ve Ateşin Şarkısı romanından uyarlandı ve daha sonra da kitap serisinden konuları işleyerek yoluna devam etti. Belki de gelmiş geçmiş dünyanın en çok izlenen dizisi olan Game of Throne ya da Türkçe adıyla Taht Oyuncları; bütünüyle izleyicilerin kalplerini fethetmeyi başarıyor. Fakat özellikle de Game of Thones dizisi konusuyla televizyon tarihine damgasını vuruyor. Sonsuz bir evreni andıran Taht Oyunları, adeta bitmeyen bir hikayeye sahip. Dizide anlatılan olayların öncesi, önemli karakterlere ait hikayeler, bazı varlıkların nasıl meydana geldiği ve Yedi Krallık olarak da bilinen Westeros’un ardındaki dünya gibi temaları da işlediği takdirde bu yapım yıllarca sürebilir.

Sherlock Holmes, günümüzde yaşayan bir karakterdir. Olaylar genellikle 21. Yüzyılda geçmektedir. Günlük hayat içerisinde bir tesadüf ederi olarak Sherlock Holmes ile eskiden doktor ve asker olan John tanışırlar. Sherlock Holmes ile John, Sherlock’un Baker Sokağı’ndaki evinde birlikte yaşamaya ve ev arkadaşı olmaya başlarlar. Bu tanışmadan sonra, şehirde birtakım cinayetler olmaya başlar. Polis, bu cinayetlerin peşine düşer. Cinayeti işleyenleri bulmak için şehirde sıkı bir çalışma başlar. Polis, cinayeti işleyenlerin ortaya çıkması için sürdürülen araştırmalar esnasında Sherlock Holmes’ten yardım ister. Sherlock Holmes, polis teşkilatının kendisine yönelttiği bu yardım talebini geri çevirmez. Sherlock Holmes, çok ilginç özelliklere sahiptir. Onun kıvrak zekası, olaylar ve kişiler üzerindeki ayrıntıları normalden çok fazla daha kısa bir süre içerisinde fark edip anlayabilmesini sağlamaktadır. Sherlock Holmes’in muhteşem çalışan beyni ve ev arkadaşı John’un yardımlarıyla birlikte, şehirdeki cinayetlerin sırları bir bir ortaya çıkmaya başlar. Cinayetlerdeki detayların Sherlock tarafından kısa bir sürede çözümlenmesi ve katillerin hızlı bir şekilde bulunması sahnelerin etkileyiciliğini de arttırıyor.

Öğretmenlikten arta kalan zamanlarda ise bir oto yıkamacıda araba yıkamakta, ailesinin getirdiği maddi zorlukların üstesinden gelmeye çalışmaktadır. Nefes alış verişinde ve vücudunda hissettiği bazı rahatsızlıklar sonucu doktora görünür ve Akciğer Kanseri olduğunu öğrenir. Ölüm ve ailesini geride bırakma düşüncesi Walter White’ı derin düşüncelere iter.

Dizi, 2030 yılında baş karakterlerden Ted’in çocuklarının karşısına geçip anneleri ile nasıl tanıştıklarını anlatmasıyla başlıyor ve bu hikaye tam 208 bölüm sürüyor. Kendini tekrar etmeden 208 bölüm çekilen dizide bu durum bir başarı olarak gösteriliyor. Dizi Ted ve Marshall’ın nasıl tanıştıkları ile başlıyor ve Yazarları olan Bays ve Thomas kendi hikayelerinden yola çıkarak karakterlere yön veriyorlar.

İlk sezonda, bir inşaat mühendisi olan Micheal’ın idama mahkûm edilen abisini hapisten kurtarmak için verdiği mücadele anlatılmaktadır. Başkan yardımcısının kardeşini öldürmekle suçlanan ve büyük bir komplonun kurbanı olan Lincoln ‘ün suçlamalarında açıklar bulan ve abisinin bu suçu işlemediğine inanan Michael, çok ince detaylara sahip bir plan hazırlar. Çalıştığı şirketin projelerinden biri olan ve planının çizilmesinde yardımcı olduğu, abisinin bulunduğu Fox River hapishanesinin planlarını vücuduna dövme olarak işleten Michael, küçük bir suç işleyerek Fox River’a mahkûm olarak girer. Kaçış macerası bu şekilde başlar. İzleyiciye oldukça duygusal anlar yaşatan bölümler, heyecan, merak, sevgi, nefret gibi birçok duyguyu da barındırmaktadır. Michael, Fox River’da çalışan ve ona yardım eden Sara’ya aşık olur. Çıkan olaylar, ters giden planlar, yakalanma ihtimali gibi birçok engele rağmen ilk sezonun sonunda kaçmayı başarırlar.

Friends; 20’li yaşlarında olan; karakterleri ve hayat hikayeleri birbirinden farklı 3’ü kadın ve 3’ü erkek olan bu 6 gencin New York’ta yaşadıkları komik ve hayat dolu maceralarını anlatıyor. Ayrıca diziye konuk olan 34 farklı oyuncu da bu hikâyeye ortak oluyor. Kâh üzülüyorlar kâh gülüyorlar, bazen aşk bazen ayrılık dolu çok kaliteli bir yapım. Sürekli vakit geçirdikleri Central Perk Cafe’de onların komedilerine çoğu sahnede ortak oluyor. Çekimleri 10 yıl süren bu yapımda, karakterlerin yaşları da dizi süresince gerçek hayatla aynı şekilde büyütülmüş ve hayat hikâyeleri bu duruma göre şekillendirilmiştir.

Bu dizide gösterilen ve bahsi geçen avcılık öyle bildiğiniz türde bir avcılık değildir. Bu türde olan avcılık daha çok gerçek hayatta olmadığını zannettiğimiz yaratıkları avlarlar. Yani daha çok hayalet, şeytan gibi benzer türde insan olmanın çok ötesinde yaratıkları avlarlar. Birbirlerini koruyup kollayan bu kardeşler, aslına bakılır ise birbirlerinden oldukça zıt karakterlere sahiptirler. Sam Winchester kardeşi Dean Winchester’a göre kıyaslanacak olursa daha zeki ve merhametli birisidir. Sam böyle iken Dean Winchester fazlası ile kadın düşkünüdür. Ve kardeşi Sam’a göre daha eğlenceli ve görünüşte hiçbir korkusu olmayan birisidir. Fakat içten içe korkuları yok değil. Sadece bunları dışarıya yansıtmıyor o kadar.Ve araba. 1967 model Chevrolet Impala her bölümde oyunculardan sonra en çok gözümüzün önüne gelen şeylerden birisidir. İki kardeş arasından babası tarafından Dean’e verilmiş olan Chevrolet İmpala’nın polislere yakalanmamak amacı gereksinimi ile birden fazla plakası vardır.

Son 100 yılda gelmiş geçmiş en iyi zombi yapımı olarak kabul edilen 30 Mart 2012 tarihinde gösterime başlayan dünyada 20 milyon izlenme sayısına ulaşmış olan The Walking Dead dizisinden bahsedeceğiz. 2015 yılında en çok izlenen dizi sıralamasında zirvede yar alan The Walking Dead yapımcısı Robert Kirkman’ın çizgi romanından televizyona uyarlanan The Walking Dead aynı başarıyı çizgi romanlarından da sağlamıştır. Çizgi roman ile aralarında ayrılık olan konular olsa da izleyiciler bir sonraki bölüm ne olacak merakı ile çizgi romana akın etseler de yapımcılar izleyiciyi burada ters köşe yaparak farklı bir bölümle ekranlara gelirken izleyiciyi daha da çok heyecanlandırmıştır. Birçok rakip çıksa da diziye The Walking Dead zombi konulu sinema veya diziler arasında son 100 yılda en iyi yapım olarak da ödüllendirilmiştir. Dizi set ekipleri tamamen profesyonel ve işlerini titizlikle yapıyorlar ki özellikle zombi makyajları dünya çapında ilgi görüyor dizi makyaj ekibine dünyanın dört bir yanından teklif gelmeye devam ediyor.

Chicago’nun güneyinde geçen dizi altı çocuk ve bir babadan oluşan ailenin trajikomik hikayesini anlatmaktadır. Baba Frank Gallagher alkol batağında çok eğlenceli vakit geçirirken, çocukların en büyüğü Fiona Gallagher ise kardeşlerini bir şekilde okutma ve geçindirme derdindedir. Ailenin başına zaman zaman komik çoğu zamansa yürekleri sızlatan olaylar gelmektedir. Her ne olursa olsun Gallagher ailesi her türlü şeyin üstesinden gelir imajı işlenen dizide, bu konuyla alakalı ” Biz Gallagher’larız. Onlara bunu gösterelim” sloganı yatar.

Spartacus ve Crixus şampiyonluğa koşmadan önce Batiatus hanesi görkemli bir şampiyona ev sahipliği etmekteydi: Gannicus. Umursamaz tavırları ve çapkınlığı ile ün yapmış olan yakışıklı Gannicus, Capua’nın o güne dek gördüğü en büyük şampiyondur. Gannicus’a rakip olabilecek tek isim ise Spartacus: Blood and Sand sezonundan tanıdığımız büyük şampiyon Galyalı Crixus’tur. Batiatus hanesine yeni katılan Crixus’u şampiyonluğa giden yolda büyük engeller beklemektedir. Şampiyon Gannicus’un başı ise yakın arkadaşı Oenomaus ve onun güzel eşi Melitta’yı içeren bir aşk üçgeni ile derttedir.
